I’ve been coming to Astor Medical for the last six years. Their robust team has taken great care of me, especially when I’ve needed to get in to see someone quickly. I’m so glad to have them as a care team.

I have found the level of care at this clinic horribly inadequate. I actually dread making an appointment but even more interesting, I always feel they have the same sense of unhappiness with my presence. Perhaps Im overreacting simply because the doctor steamrolled a new medication on me without conversation but in her classic condescending tone. Oh and the icing on the cake, when the doctor calls me 2 months after my last appointment with concerns on my labs....Either way, I shall not return.

Ive been a patient at Astor Medical group for a little over two years now and Ive been impressed with the professionalism and great service from the doctors and the front desk staff. Additionally the doctors are quite LGBT friendly and very knowledgeable in regards to health issues affecting members of the LGBT community. You can feel that they understand the issues and have solutions and guidance which is white refreshing. Overall one of the best PCPs Ive had.

They can’t do blood work in-house, so they can only really weigh you and take your temperature. You’ll have to make a second appointment & visit at Labcorp or Quest for any blood work, and pay extra for the services rendered. I’m switching doctors after this entire hassle.
