Got prescribed medication for sleep insomnia that isnt a controlled substance, yet this practice wants you to schedule an appointment every month in order to get it refilled. If you ask your pharmacy to refill, this clinic will deny it and then when you try and call for help their voicemail box is either full or they dont even respond to the call you left. Just moved my medication to my Primary Care doctor and she agrees the practice youre doing with this is weird and suspicious by making people continuously go back in for basic medication refill.

I am a new patient but wow! I absolutely loved how the staff spoke to me and treated me. I was in and out for certain follow ups and the doctor I went to see, Dr. Lessnau, was so sweet, informative and just wonderful. Everyone in the office was respectful and the place was really clean. I did have a little wait at one point but because they were able to squeeze me in so I didnt have to go out of my way to come back which was a win for me. Overall I loved this experience over what I have usually have had to go through

Ah, well its been a little while since id been to any doctor for any reason. i miss my former neurologist who left the practice. i also miss very good doctors that use/know (monitoring and/or diagnostic) technology and have the insight and experience to understand it to help with other incidents. this past visit, i didnt have that experience. that the profession has generally eroded into transaction, referral and what helps drive the flawed, dysfunctional revenue model of poor holistic skills and body of knowledge and they dont see reward in that, but only what is marginal... looking out for themselves rather than having any real sophistication about top quality patient service.... out of fairness, its been a stressful time, idiotically when one understands what covid is and is not.after other visits, 14th Street M/A has come along although for patients who are those of 14th Street M/A, it shouldnt be a problem to get high quality C19 testing, otherwise, this is better than my former PCP and im not regretting I switched to 14th Street M/A as my PCP

The office staff was excellent. My experience with Dr. Coghill was awful. She doesn’t provide any answers or explanations. Questions seem to irritate her. In my 3 minute follow-up visit she only answered one question with a flat-no. She does not seem interested in her profession. She’s one of these factory-worker style doctors. As soon as you come in she’s ready for you to leave so she can see the next person and so on and so on.

Avoid. Doctors/nurses are good but the administration side of this clinic becomes a bad patient experience. First, there’s is no simple way to see all your results in one place - results come through independent sources into independent portals that you can’t download, etc Youbend up taking screen shots of your results if you want to keep them. Second, what has become standard but disturbing of forcing you to sign through a tablet that you are agreeing to or acknowledging receipt of several documents and policies that you have not seen or received (and when you ask at front desk they don’t know what you’re talking about and think you are crazy). And third and finally, you receive notifications after the fact that they’re charging your credit card for a balance but you have no idea what the balance is for - they don’t send you invoice or explanation to confirm your insurance was charged and there’s no one to talk to - just leaving a voicemail.

Check-in was great, front desk was super helpful. But the doctoral staff was very weary. The doctor suggested I needed a Z-Pack prior to even checking out my symptoms or listening to my chest. In addition, it seemed to be a doctor filling in for another doc, and the nurse didnt speak English very well and she was training other medical assistants and couldnt explain to them what was going on. I am surprised that Google Reviews and Zocdoc have this place rated so highly but my experience was much more similar to the 2.5 stars they received on Yelp. Heres my list of grievances from going in for an annual check up:1. I was not properly informed about the costs of the various tests they ushered me into (they simply told me that it was covered under my plan), otherwise I would not have elected to pay $100 out of pocket ($700 total to my insurance) for an allergy test that I didnt need.2. At least the allergy test I actually received. Looking into the claims, they also charged me for an ECG that I am pretty sure I didnt receive (seems like itd be a hard thing to miss). Certainly there are no test results I can see from it. I have already contacted W14 with no response so far.3. I thought the one silver lining was that my doctor was nice enough during the quick exam. However she has yet to respond in 12 days and counting on a question I had about my blood work. Even a week delay is not bad because I am sure she is busy but two weeks to respond for abnormal results on a blood test does not give me confidence that they care about my health.Needlessly to say, I am NOT going back for any future medical needs and I recommend that you dont either. Check the Yelp reviews for a more realistic expectation.EDIT: I would like to give a shoutout to Daniel in the billing department who quickly helped me confirm the ECG test was not performed and removed the charge.

Highly disappointed. Was seen by the nurse practitioner Svetlana. One would think that being her first appointment of the day she would be focused. But it felt as if she didn’t even listen to me or what was going on and instead was simply going through a cookie-cutter like routine that was generic to all rather than specific to one. This concern was proven to be true and echoed when I arrived for the x-rays she ordered for me only to find that she ordered them for parts of my body where the pain wasn’t and that I never even mentioned as having an issue.I just can help but wonder if we were we having the same conversation or in the same room together?”Now I’m stuck sitting in the radiology place for over an hour as they try to get a hold of her to put in for the right order.Pretty upset and wishing I’d gone somewhere else for this health issue.Outraged is an understatement. About to leave and go to a place with doctors and practitioners who listen to patients and care.

I selected 14th Street Medical Arts because they have several locations in the city. Unfortunately, there’s a huge disconnect between the office staff and the Call Center. I was scheduled for two appointments on the same day and was reassured by a Customer Service Representative that I would have enough time to make it to both appointments. I arrived 20 minutes early to my first appointment, but was not seen until 45 minutes AFTER my appointment time. I ran to my second appointment located a few blocks away from the first location in hopes of making it on time. I was 11 minutes late and was told that I could not be seen. I was then charged a fee for missing my appointment. All appointments must be cancelled 24 hours before the scheduled time, which is understandable, only I hadn’t missed my appointment and the reason why I was late in the first place was because my physician at the first location was running late and pushed my appointment back 45 minutes. I decided not to let the terrible experience deter me from going again, plus I wanted to avoid all the hassle of searching for a new family doctor so I went again a month later for a follow-up only to be pulled out of the examination room mid-procedure to verify my insurance. They claimed that they didn’t accept my insurance. The staff at the front desk proceeded to chuckle amongst themselves when discussing my personal details. They blatantly told me that I either had to leave or pay out of pocket. I called my insurance a few hours later and was told that the medical center had misinformed me. I called the medical center again to see what types of insurance they accepted and they did accept mine. When I told her that I had been turned away earlier the girl at the front desk took no accountability and simply offered to reschedule my appointment. Team members are extremely unprofessional, rude, and unethical.

I’ve been trying to call to complain about this and no one picks up the phone so I hope that maybe someone cares about reading this review!!! I’ve gotten a letter on the mail charging me $50 from missing my appointment which I know is the policy. My problem is, I had an emergency and had to send an email the night before when my appointment was around 2pm. Granted, yes it was within the 24hrs limit but minimum 10-12hrs before. After I wait over a month to get the next appointment with the Neurologist Robin Warner, LITERALLY within 2hrs of the appointment, as I am prepping to leave, I get an email saying it has to be cancelled. So I stop everything in my day to go to this appointment and it gets cancelled within 2hrs but I have to pay the $50 from when I missed the appointment!!!???? So, my life and my obligations are not as important as the doctor? Why would I have to pay for something that the doctor also does? The worst part of it all is that I had this same discussion with the front desk lady and she just told me “ ok, don’t worry about it” to now getting this letter in the mail saying I OWE $50??? I am weeks away from moving and my credit score dropped from 730 to 666 because of THIS!!!! Are you kidding meeeee!!???? This is absolutely ridiculous and I am beyond angry. I have been type 1 Diabetic since the age of seven and I have been going to doctors for a very long time.. they are the worst I have come across yet. The doctors are extremely cold and the receptionist try to act like doctors. One of the receptionist there read me one of my blood results and almost gave me a heart attack until the actual doctor re corrected the receptionist. I will not return and I would actively recommend others to not come here. I have never been to such an uncommunicative, unprofessional doctor’s office in my life. I wouldn’t trust these folks to listen to my concerns or take care of me.The office attendants / nurses were not friendly / attentive, and in general just standing at the back of a long hallway chatting away. After an initial check in with the nurse (for being weighed, etc.) when waiting for the doctor, they had patients sitting out in chairs lined up beside the wall in a tight hallway with loud dance music blasting. Definitely not a comfortable experience being bombarded with loud music in a tight hallway with nurses / attendants gossiping & checking themselves out in the mirror in the back. During my visit in particular, there was an individual waiting in the hallway who was clearly upset by the loud sounds (clutching hands to face, trying to cover ears). While multiple nurses saw & walked by this person several times, no one stopped to ask if they were okay / offer water / offer to turn down music / take them to a quiet room. When it came time for that person to be checked by the doctor, I don’t know what their complaint was, but they wouldn’t go in the room with the doctor (something about not wanting to get sicker than she already was…) maybe something covid related? Either way the doctor displayed irritation with the patient and yelled down the hallway angrily for the nurse.I was up next. The doctor didn’t introduce herself (neither did the nurse before). Everything was pretty basic, but there were a few things that bothered me. 1) She squeezed my toes through my shoes (part of some sort of sense test) and then proceeded to touch my face / neck area with those same gloves that had touched my dirty shoes — very unsanitary. 2) At some point she said she’d like to do some blood work and I said I have a needle phobia — she said get over it, look the other way, these ladies know what they are doing. I did not appreciate the lack of sympathy, or her respecting that I may want to do this another day when I have a friend outside to make sure I get home okay after having blood taken (I generally feel unwell after). 3) At the conclusion of our meeting, she verbally told me all the things I would need to tell the front office to have done for me today (e.g., EKG, blood sample, urine sample, allergy test) and sent me on my way. No communication between office staff! The attendant at the front desk remembered my name and said I didn’t have to do it today if I didn’t want to — she was the only one in the office who seemed to pay attention to patient needs and not treat us like cattle to be herded.

One critique: The moment you approach the front desk, regardless of what the receptionist are doing, there should be immediate eye contact and acknowledgement even if you cant immediately assist the guest. Im very happy with her work so far and will continue to see her.The technicians at the 500 E 14th St and 110 W 14th St locations were fantastic -- friendly, helpful, well-trained, and always made me feel comfortable before, during, and after the procedures/tests.The only reason I took one star off is the following: sometimes it is hard to get in touch with the office via phone to schedule/reschedule appointments and some of the reception staff are rude. It took a while to get reception to use my correct name and pronouns, even though the nurses and doctors were already doing it. Another issue was that theyd perform in-office tests without checking my insurance, and Id be billed for out-of-network testing even though the Dr/practice itself is in-network.

He spoke to me for a total of two minutes and then told me to take extra strength Advil. I was in shock at his complete disregard for my symptoms and did not even care to listen to my full story. He has no bedside manner and was clearly disinterested in being there. Its unacceptable to be treated this way by someone who go to for help. ZERO bedside manner.

The staff and medical personnel at W14 Medical Arts were friendly, and caring. You are greeted by a warm and affable staff ready to help in the whatever the patient needs.. The wait to be seen by a doctor is minimal, despite the fact that the office was very busy.with incoming patients. Somehow they managed to get everyone seen and had us keep safe distances from one another. Finally, the medical professionals were very good --knowledgable, aware that patients are often nervous, and they listened attentively at what patients said. The one complaint I have is that there was rather loud music playing, which was, at least for me a nuisance. But for that I would have given 5 stars.

1/5 for wasting my time.I went to see the podiatrist and was recommended some insoles. The podiatrist said the insoles would arrive in three weeks and had me schedule a follow up appointment three weeks out. Cool. This place is notorious for calling/texting/emailing you 3-4 times before your appointment for confirmation (they need to improve on this), so I thought my insoles had arrived because they confirmed my appointment for my follow-up. Low and behold, I go in and the podiatrist says they’re not ready and she’s so sorry. I get it, but you should have never confirmed my appointment if my insoles weren’t in! I also have things to do and my time was wasted! I get that USPS is off, but the medical facility should do a better job of ensuring that their patients will be seen for the things they need. For example, if the patient is coming in for insoles, make sure their insoles are ready before confirming their appointment. Otherwise, your systems are misaligned and mismanaged.

I was given the wrong information for my insurance by the staff, so I couldn’t get attended the day of my appointment I waited about 40 mins just to be turned away. I wouldn’t have minded if I wasn’t in need of a doctor. Unfortunately, My visit with them started on a Sour note but I’m trying to give them the benefit of the doubt because everyone makes mistakes. Just be weary and double check with everybody, or the visit can easily become upsetting. The staff in general are amicable and capable, and the doctor assistants are delightful. The doctor I was attended by was Dr. Tangirala. Maybe she had a bad day but She felt very distant and made little eye contact, she did not address my concerns and when I asked her if I should keep taking my current medication she responded “uh..... maybe... Tylenol.” I felt very powerless because I was struggling a lot with my health and I wasn’t given any sense of reassurance or felt cared for. Since then I switched to Dr. Michael and I’m awaiting to be attended. I hope this time goes a lot better, the nurses and medical assistants are incredible and so attentive, which is the only reason I feel like this place shouldn’t get any less stars.

Waste of time. Doctor recommended treatments that I had already done and were unsuccessful. Was unwilling to move forward any other way.

Not upfront about costs, and initial consult staff treated me like an assembly line. I had two very expensive office visits. In the initial consult, I was cycled through various uninterested staff members. Each asked me about my problem, but didnt seem to care about my answer, even cutting me off at times. They simply rushed me through various tests without mentioning the cost at all, or the fact that my insurance only covered half.

They did not address the main reason why it went to them and only addressed a partial issue after all the time wasting after three appointments. The first solution offered as many often do is to push more possible medication that wasnt the answer was looking for and it wasnt even to address a specific complaint the medication first was for pain that I do not have. I never saw the actual neurologist that I booked the appointment to see only saw a bunch of text and students and just a waste of time

Excellent first visit the office had proper Corvid 19 spacing and hospital filtering the air and I was greeted warmly and professionally. The nurse Attendants outstanding and my doctor took the time to discuss in detail all of my health issues... looks like a new office with modern technology and at major mass transit intersection both subway and buses at the corner of west 14th and 6th Avenue.(red and blue subway lines &14 street bus.)

Do not go here if you do not have to! These are rotating doctors who can lightly advise and fill a a prescription, but they will not ask you details about your case and will look no further than surface level tests for possible diagnoses. They do not really even try to propose possible causes for symptoms. They will send you to six different specialists instead of thinking critically about a single cause for all your symptoms. Go here for blood work or a flu shot or common illness, not for anything more serious than that.

My visit yesterday was not my first. All previous visits were amazing; however, this visit left me bothered. I am still trying to decide whether I was sensitive due to the way I was feeling upon my arrival.I walked to the front desk and was not acknowledged. I stood there and listened to a telephone conversation about low hours and disrespect. I regret that I did not get the name of the young lady who was super helpful. The experience at the front desk swayed my temperament, and I was not as pleasant as I usually present. The MA who did my vitals was amazing. She was jovial, thorough, and very professional. Then I met with the physician who did not do any type of physical examination. He asked several questions and offered that my issue is probably medication based. It was his determination that I need to see a cardiologist. I informed him that I saw a cardiologist the day before this visit. I also expressed that I had an overnight heart monitor and completed an EKG.Our session ended, and I was instructed to go to the front desk to schedule a cardiologist appointment. To my surprise, the front desk personnel informed me that the doctor ordered tests: an ultrasound of carotid artery, an EKG, a transcranial ultrasound, and an EEG. I was also told that I was going to be provided a heart monitor.Know that I was not happy. I completed all of the tests with the exception of the EEG which will take place on Sunday. The young ladies who performedthe tests were amazing. The young lady who provided the instructions for the heart monitor was accommodating and provided the instructions a second time. The teach-back method was used to determine my understanding of the instructions.I was asked to return the heart monitor on Sunday to the Westside location before attending my EEG appointment at their Eastside office. I will not even go into what I think about the equipment return since this is one organization in several locations.Suffice it to say that this wasnt a stellar moment for the organization. Nonetheless, I want to belive this was an off day. I truly enjoyed the providers I met with on previous visits so I will not dismiss the practice. I WILL RETURN!Please know that I did not leave this review to discourage people from visiting the practice. Rather, I want the practice to have a clear picture of my experience.

Easy to make an appointment. Front desk staff is very attentive. Short waits, even though they are quite busy. Most tests are done on premises or short distance from the office and in one day number of tests can be done at once. I am satisfied with my first visit.
