Worst front desk ever in the world. There is one woman who speaks poor English and Mandarin treating me very rude. You cannot ask her anything otherwise it’s your problem. You feel you owe her big. She cannot help anything but you need to figure out. She always says of course it’s like this. Of course you need to do this? What a terrible front desk??? And they over charge you without looking at your insurance card. When why are you asking us to providing the insurance information ? You will be told there is no way to refund but wait for the EOB. If you are the first time visiting doctor, you ask her what is EOB? Then she will laugh at you for your innocence. What a service provider? Guys, make sure you do all your homework in order to pass this woman’s test and impatience. Try to avoid this unprofessional woman with poor communication skill and super bad manner.Dr. Ng is quite good but I don’t know why you keep this woman here to ruin your clinic reputation???

0 STARS if available.The worse customer service ever, especially the billing department. This office required my wife to pay upfront for the procedures she received and claims that the amount they charged are our deductibles. Was advised they will refund money when EOB is out.EOB has been out and appears that the amount they charged claiming to be our deductible is the amount they billed the insurance for the procedures. They are not proactive with refunding money. I had to call to ask for refund back. The front desk gave me the run around about asking billing department to call me back but does not know when it would be. I pressed to speak to someone and finally reach someone in the billing department.While speaking to this person from billing, I was given another run around that they have not received all the EOB and only have 1. I asked why this one was not refunded. Her answer was they are waiting for the other EOBs and provide 1 refund so it doesnt mess up their accounting. I questioned her why taking payment for each of my wifes procedure doesnt mess up their accounting and told her that other providers actually give patients the option of being billed for any deductibles once the EOB is out. Our conversation goes on.... Then she slipped her tongue and mentioned that her system shows 2 EOBs (not 1 that she claimed when our conversation started). She still cant refund me because of not receiving the other EOBs. I was advised I need to speak to a manager that is barely there.If you have a deductible they are quick to take upfront payment in order to have any procedures done and tell you that the amount they are charging is your deductible amount. However, they will hold on to your money and probably not refund you if youre not proactive yourself in monitoring your EOB and calling them about refunding it.Avoid this practice at all cost!

I would have given the doctor 5 stars personally, however the front desk is horrible. No customer service skills at all, very unprofessional. They scheduled me for an appointment via phone call, and had never followed through. Post app, stated would send me my scripts via email never did. Terrible customer service. Id reconsider my review if the staff is more polite and doesnkeep hanging up on me. As well as acts more professional, very disappointing. Otherwise the doctor by himself is really great.

Been to this office couple years, however its getting worse during this year, either they are short of people or hired some unprofessional people to be the front desk. Every time when call to the office, first respond is please hold then takes them forever to back to you or even direct the phone call to the answering system. If not necessary, I will definitely not call them. When leave a message to the billing person, always said shes not working on the date you call , even called on the date was told she worked, someone else would said shes not working on that date. What kinds of medical office which you cant talk to the person and never get back to you even leave a message. I am so disappoint with their services, it changed a lot from the first date I went there. I have to think about to switch to the other more professional place.

Worst customer service ever! Front desk don’t pick up calls and I had to call at least 10 times to ask for a simple receipt. Billing department don’t answer calls either when they only work 3 days a week. Avoid this place at all cost!

Dr ng is nice but he doesn’t see pt , only PA see pts , and receptionist has very bad customer service. I wouldn’t recommend to go there .

Like others have said they have terrible customer service. I was told they accepted my insurance and they put in the wrong insurance information. I am now getting billed. Ive discussed this with them on several occasions but it seems like front desk staff cant understand me which makes them more tense. It really makes visiting this office a nightmare

The front desk staff are fed up. They don’t require appointments and day-to-day services with a large crowd resulting in them being angry to customers. Just be prepared to deal with them and keep a smile on your face after your visit. Not big deal.

Because my insurance was not yet effective the office requested a $150 deposit, which is already a violation of New York City health regulations but I was told when they could run my insurance I would be immediately refunded. This was a lie. My insurance has been made effective on the date of the visit, they have processed it, but have still refused to pay me. Each time I call they refer me to a nonexistent billing department or literally say the billing person isn’t there. When I persist they magically can access my account and try to say that I have to ask my insurer for the money I PAID THEM. I am in the process of serving them with papers in small claims court. Dr. Anthony Ng seemed like an honorable man despite making me wait almost an hour during my visit so I’m shocked that he allows this to happen. There are many doctors offices that have honest business practices. This is not one of them.

Dr. Ng is warm, kind and a fabulous gastroenterologist. Everyone at the practice is great from the anaesthetist to his PA to the receptionists. They are very efficient, I have never had to wait, they were very patient and helpful when I had to reschedule twice. (Only dont call the Flushing office - those receptionists are not so accommodating.)When I explained that I could not use the giant prep that had made me violently ill for my previous colonoscopy they went out of their way to help me get the smaller prep, and it was so much better.I highly recommend this practice!

DR ANTHONY NG IS A GREAT GI DOCTOR. GREAT BEDSIDE MANNER. REALLY TOOK TIME TO EXPLAIN EVERYTHING TO ME TO RELAX ME FOR MY UPPER AND LOWER GI SCOPES. KNOWLEDGE IS EMPOWERING. DR NG IS HIGHLY COMPETENT! THE OFFICE IS SUPERB AND EMACULATELY CLEAN. OFFICE STAFF IS VERY PROFESSIONAL. TRULY A FIRST CLASS OFFICE. IF YOU NEED A GREAT GI DOCTOR THEN DR NG AND HIS OFFICE ARE IT! HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! A+ . AND THE SCOPES WERE SMOOTH.
