My experience with Dr. Mariz was amazing. My last Gyne visit at another office or any other family doctor visit was frustrating. However, I feel like I finally found the one! Def willing to come back !

Almost died after a surgery in this medical center. The day after the surgery I bled and passed out on the street after loosing so much blood. My 3-year old and wife were going through a shock after finding me unconscious on the street in lot of blood around me and lot of people around me.I ended up in the hospital nearby, and over there I passed out 3-5 times until the corrective surgery started. It spent 3 days in the hospital and had huge bills to pay.The worst thing is that my wife tried to contact Manhattan Gastroenterology on the day when this happened, so they can brief the doctors in this hospital before this corrective surgery on what has been done, and what possibly caused the internal bleeding. But, the doctors in Manhattan Gastroenterology just ignored us and never returned called back while we were in the hospital. The called back 3 days after with a blocked caller ID, as they were probably scared I will sue them. I still can use them, but still thinking weather to do it or not, as they make you sign so many forms so they don take any responsibility.They staff and the doctors at Manhattan Gastroenterology seemed nice and kind at the time, but I was immensely disappointed with their non-taking any accountability, and not even returning calls when most needed. And they never hesitate to charge me a lot, and keep send additional bills after more than a year.

Warning!! You will not get the help you are looking for from any of these inexperienced doctors/Scam artist in lab coats. If you aren’t looking for help to fix your issues and just want to waste your time.. and want your insurance company and yourself to be robbed this is the place for you. Some how this place is removing most of the negative reviews. 90% of the good reviews are fake!! This place should be shut down! The doctors are terrible! And couldn’t care less about your issues.. Please Do More Research!! They are paying to pop up first on search engines Fake Reviews to lure you in.. They are going to rob you and your insurance company and you will be left with the same issues you came in with! Don’t be disappointed like me because I decided to go with the first place that popped up on google. Bad Move! Get a recommendation from a doctor you trust. Don’t try and find a place on your own! Long story short: Dr. Tsynman is brilliant. If you are looking for a gastroenterologist, look no further.After several terrible experiences with doctors, I developed an aversion to them. I swore off on seeking medical expertise, and doomed myself of eternal worrying and constant self-diagnosing through Wedmd. (A doctor once told me I was allergic to rice/grain, without obtaining a blood sample. Disclaimer: with every ounce of Chinese and Russian blood in me, I am proud to write that I consume a ton of rice every week.)Along came Dr. Tsynman, who broke down my antagonistic mindset and restore my faith of the medical profession. This man deserves every accolades and money given to him. From the moment I set foot in the office, Dr. Tsynman eased my qualms and reassured me that I will be okay. After all, I was uncertain as to what to expect for a double procedures of endoscopy and colonoscopy. He attentively listened to my issues and thoroughly explained the steps I needed to take in order to recover. Through his vast knowledge on gastroenterology and genuine care, my affliction has been resolved. Dr. Tsynman personally called me before and after office hours to update about my condition. I know him as Dr. Cinnamon :) but, formally, Dr. Tsynman is the best! He is funny, personable, and his offices are beautiful. But that’s just a bonus-the thing that sets him apart from other doctors is that HE CARES. After noticing some abnormalities in an X-ray he recommended every specialist I should see and followed up with me to see how my appointments went. He’s not my primary care doctor but I wish he was! He is the only doctor I’ve ever met that took the time to analyze all of my issues-the big picture-not just what he specializes in. Through his extra efforts connecting the dots, I started feeling better, and now I feel like myself again.I can’t recommend him enough. He’s made my life better and I’m so thankful to him.

Dr. Tsynman is wonderful. He takes time to listen and answer questions. He is straight with you and gives you all of the possible options. The office staff is very nice and efficient, rarely is there a wait. However, I wouldn’t mind waiting as I know he doesn’t rush through his appointments to give you the time that is needed. I had to call the office on numerous occasions to get test results. I never got a call returned. When I questioned them why Dr Khodadadian never called me back the response was they never got the message?????? This time around it took me over three weeks to get a returned call. Or the doctor returned my call even thought no phone call was on my cellphone for missed calls.It is obvious that you are just a number and not a patient. Will never go back. Not a professional group although the pretend to be.

People who refuse to get one later in life are risking their lives. The staff at the facility is very nice and made me feel at home. The procedure is a breeze and not uncomfortable at all. Dr Tsynman is great! On my first appointment, he actually read my intake form! (Sadly, most are in too much of a rush and do not.) In addition to making my acid reflux disappear, he actually listens and explains things to you. I wish he could be my PCP.

Every person when they reach 50 should have a colonoscopy and a good place to have it done in NYC at Manhattan Gastroenterology. It is no big deal and it could save you from having a colostomy or worse. I had it done last month and the people there were great. I was put at ease the minute I arrived and never felt a thing. The doctor found three pre-cancerous polyps and removed them.My brother took my advice and had similar results. I highly recommend getting it done at Manhattan Gastroenterology.

Would not recommend this place whatsoever. Specifically would not recommend Dr. Shawn Khodadadian. Here is your first hint: any office that makes you do a review before you leave the office. The staff is rude, and the left arm does not talk to the right arm. (so to speak). Can not go into more specifics for fear of being sued. (That is the new norm these days.)

Dr. Khodadadian is exemplary. A highly efficient doctor and very thorough. His office runs like a well oiled machine.Edit: I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Khodadadian. He is thorough. The referrals he has given me so far have been elementary to my treatment. On my last visit he promised to make an inquiry about a provider I needed for a very specialized treatment. The insurance was giving me a hard time concerning a gap exception. 20 minutes later (after hours) he called me personally as I was in the back of the cab going home to give me the phone number for an in network provider. He had made a call to someone he knew who used to work in that field at some point then called me, even though it was past hours. He understood I was in pain. If that isn’t pure dedication to a patients well being I don’t know what is. Not to mention the testing, the follow-ups, the step by step plan he outlines and exacts. He’s simply the very best gastroenterologist in New York City.

I had an endoscopy performed by Manhattan Gastroenterology two weeks ago. They discovered inflammation in my stomach and gave me medicine to treat it which made me feel much better. I found the NYC gastroenterology group to be very professional and comforting. I would recommend them highly.

My doctor recommended I visit Manhattan Gastroenterology in NYC for a colonoscopy. I was have some lower GI issues that concerned him. I was like most men a little uncomfortable when I went but they made me feel real comfortable, The test was no big deal and completely free of any discomfort. Fortunately they found nothing serious, I was very glad I had it done because I no longer have to worry.

I was experiencing a lot of discomfort and my doctor recommended Manhattan Gastroenterology for me. I went there and they recommended I have an endoscopy. It was not nearly as uncomfortable an experience as I thought and the facility was very modern. They discovered that I had gastritis and recommended some changes in my diet and told me to avoid stress. If I ignored it, it could have become worse. I feel much better today thanks to this gastroenterologist.

Before I went to my first appointment with Dr. Dann, I was honestly slightly suspicious that there were so many amazing reviews online about him and his office. I thought, Are these fake or something? But then after my appointment, I realized that these reviews are indeed very real. Dr. Dann was one of the nicest, smartest and most patient doctors Ive ever met. In New York, most doctors seem really rushed for time and dont really give you much attention. Dr. Dann spent so long getting to know every detail about my medical history and talking with me about all the things I should try doing before my next appointment. He seemed to actually really care about my well-being, and good health, and making me get better, which is something I havent truly felt from a doctor in a really, really long time. If you are looking for a gastroenterologist in NYC, youd be crazy not to go to Manhattan Gastroenterology. I really cant imagine there is any place better.

Dr. K strategically tested me for intolerances, treated me, advised a diet plan and followed up with additional testing when I had an adverse reaction to medication.I now know I cant do lactose, battled SIBO and am now a few weeks past the treatment and feeling good and more aware of what works for my bodies digestion.Many thanks to the kind team at Manhattan Gastroenterology!

I was referred to Dr. Tysnman by my PCP. I have been suffering from gastrointestinal issues for years, and no doctor exceeded my expectations.Dr. Tysnman has blown me away from inception. He asked me questions that no one had asked, did tests no one even thought to do. As a result i’m FINALLY headed in the right direction to a healthier GI system.It will take work and commitment, but I know I have the support if he and his team.

I saw Dr. Shawn for my father. He was great!!!!!!!!!! Everything they say about him is true, he cares for his patients, and explains the clinical situation, treatment options on a level that you can understand from A-Z. We need more doctors like this :)

Watch out! I was tricked by all these fake ratings. The assistant gave me a wrong pharmacy. I had to go back and forth three times.Their billing department is a joke.Its easy to make an appointment, but impossible to talk to someone regarding the bills. Dont trust the good reviews. I guarantee you they are all fake postings.

Dr. Tsynman is a kind and brilliant physician. He diagnosed my condition right away and gave me the treatments that are working amazingly well. I had been to two other gastroenterologists and my GP with the same complaints and symptoms for years and no one else was as thorough and compassionate. Dr. Tsynman called me after every test came back to explain and discuss the results and went to bat for me with my insurance company for a test that had been denied. I cannot recommend Dr. Tsynman highly enough. A real gem!

When I first met Dr. Khodadadian, I was recommended to him for a colonoscopy. He was the first gastroenterologist I had ever been to. His office on the Upper East Side made a nice impression and so did he. He made me feel very comfortable during the entire procedure. I continued to see him after my diagnosis of diverticulitis. I have had almost no flare ups under his care.

So relieved to have found Dr. K. I had recovered from a rare stage-four colorectal cancer and refused to put myself in the hands of doctors who didnt pay attention or take my symptoms seriously. Dr. Khodadadian takes extra precautions to make sure everything is healthy, hes very kind and gentle, and is amazingly astute, questioning, and pro-active. He has no problem working closely with my oncologist, even though they are affiliated with different hospitals, so I never feel like any details will drop through the cracks, or anyones giant ego will keep me from getting the care I need (believe me, this has been a frequent problem with GI doctors and surgeons who see themselves as stars!). His assistant Erica is also wonderful and patiently addresses all my questions and concerns. But dont go to this office, because I want to keep them all to myself!!

First time the front desk did not tell me how much I am going to pay. Second time the front desk said there was no copay.BUT I have to pay about 850 dollars at last.And I waited one hour and a half,to do colonoscopy , I did not eat for over24hours but I have to wait another 1.5 hour before the exam,so terrible experience.
