Dr. Orbuch is an incredible physician. He diagnosed me with several serious issues years ago without even needing to run tests (of course he did run tests, and they confirmed his beliefs). He has been accessible, helpful, and kept me safe and healthy, and always has excellent references to specialists, prescription services, and really anything his patients need. I cannot recommend him enough.

Dr. Murray Orbuch has always been very caring, attentive, and as thorough as he can be. You generally do not feel rushed out as it can happen with other physicians. If I need a referral, he always sends me to good specialists, and this time, he actually called a couple of doctors during our visit to make sure they took my insurance and can work with my condition/concerns. Office staff are also nice, supportive, and understanding. My only concern is that this new location does not have easy access to stairs. I am claustrophobic and will not use a small elevator, especially not on my own. I had to call the office and one of the office staff members had to come downstairs for me and ultimately get in the elevator with me because her key card did not open the door to the staircase either. It was very nice of her, but I am worried that I might have to call in advance and ask for this huge favor every time I visit Dr. Orbuch, and its not a good feeling.

Dr. Orbuch has been, and continues to be, a thorough, thoughtful physician/healthcare provider. I was refer to him by my PCP years ago. For the past 5+ years, we have been able to address and examine concerns with my stomach (gut), abdominal/intestinal health and liver. Recently (during the pandemic), I was able to televisit with him and the process was simple! His communication/perspective is wholistic yet detailed, and I value his knowledge and speedy follow through.

Dr. Orbuch is one of the smartest and professional doctors Ive ever met. You can tell that he cares about his patients and is an excellent listener and prescriber of useful suggestions that you can use to get and stay healthy. And you never get the impression that hes trying to rush you in order to get to his next patient. Hes a very centered individual and we need more doctors like him.

My time with Dr. Orbuch was very efficient and thorough. I was able to get an appointment right away and his team was very helpful. Dr. Orbuch truly understands endometriosis and the GI crossover. Dr. Orbuch is a great PCP and gastroenterologist. I have been with him for over 10 years and he always makes sure that I am up to date with all my medical tests. Probably his best quality as a physician is that he does not panic or orders unnecessary studies at the slightest symptom (we all can be a bit hypochondriac at times) BUT at the same time, he is very diligent when he believes there is something that deserves a closer look and/or deeper diagnosis. This, gives me great peace of mind as a patient.

During a New Years weekend my wife and I traveled to NYC from home in Nevada.My wife had previously undergone gastric by pass surgery and had, on occasion, experienced severe diarrhea. The doctors in our hometown were unable to diagnose the nature of the problem.Shortly after we arrived in NYC my wife once again experienced severe diarrhea.Through a friend in NYC we were referred to Dr. Orbuch. He offered to come into his office on New Years day to see my wife. We did not wish to ruin his holiday, so we agreed to see him the next day. He knew immediately what was wrong with my wife and was able to help her.To this day we grateful that we found such a caring and knowledgeable physician who was willing to come into his on a holiday to see a new patient. I was referred by my internist for a problem no one could solve for the past 20 years. Everyone seemed to give the same anodyne answer without looking into the cause. Dr Orbuch spent nearly an hour actually listening to me and referred me for several tests that none of my previous gastroenterologists had even entertained. Dr. Orbuch literally saved my life a few years ago. I was experiencing what I thought was back pain. Since I was due to take a long flight the next day I called him just in case. After asking some questions he urged me to go to the emergency room right away. I thought it was a bit much, but better safe than sorry. At the hospital I learned I was suffering a serious intestinal problem and would not have survived the 13-hour flight.

GREAT GASTROENTEROLOGY PRACTICE. I saw Dr Orbuch last week for a serious esophageal medical matter. Dr Orbuch is professional, analytical and compassionate. Someone you can relate to easily. I came to see Dr Murray Orbuch because he had previously helped my wife with a stomach infection when other doctors could not help. He listens and provides specific solutions. Also , his staff particularly is great. Liz is highly trained, corteous and accommodating. I am very thankful to Dr Orbuch and I strongly recommend him.

Worked with this doctor to diagnose my Crohns and during my initial flare ups. He was OK at first but over time it became clear he was pushing outdated pharmaceuticals on me that were no longer even recommended by most gastros. When I moved back to Oregon my doctor confirmed this information and questioned Dr. Orbuchs course of treatment altogether. I ended up having half my colon removed, partially due to scar tissue cause by an ineffective course of treatment prescribed by this doc.

I had found this doctor on the internet,among those doctors who supposed to accept my insurance. When I called,receptionists told me that they accept my insurance (Ive had HIP that time.)I went there and they took my insurance card.And still, I personally asked the doctor if he was accepting it. He seemed so be very nice ,with an excellent manners. After seen him twice, Dr. Murray Orbach had performed endoscopy .After a while, I had received the first blue letter- bill for $ 450. I through it was some kind of mistake. But after two or three of those letters Id made a call. Ms. Linda ,from a billing department , asked me if it was a blue letter. I told her : Yes. She assured me that it was nothing to worry, and I didnt have a bill to pay.Three or fourth month later I received the bill for $3450. Now bill collectors are harrassing me ,and my new insurance, (Emblem Health,) agreed to pay him only $250. I am already paying my cards and four student loans.I am in deep debt. Threre are no room for another payment.I Just wonder, if it is a right price for you, Ms. Orbach, to sell your soul?!
