He put me immediately at ease and did a thorough review to assess if I needed a root canal - using the latest technology. Ultimately, we decided to give it a little more time before deciding if the procedure is necessary. That, in itself, filled me with confidence and trust. Everyone night mares is root canal. Going in I had anxiety and my nerves were saying put it off, put it off, nevertheless, I arrived on time and within a few minutes my name was called. My nerves kicked into gear. Dr Steven Lipner DDS walked me through every steps and when it came to the numbing part, he did something different an I didn’t even knew the needle injections were over. I didn’t feel a thing through out the process and I even feel asleep during the procedure lol. Great job!

Loved Dr. Lipner! He reminded me that I could voice myself when I felt uncomfortable or in pain because that’s important to him. He didn’t rush me out the office the way other doctors tend to do and he showed a lot of care by asking me if I had questions at the beginning and end of my procedure. He really cares for his patients.

The premises are bright, modern and clean. The front desk is pleasant and helpful. The doctors are knowledgeable, professional and explain the procedure they are performing.

Dr. Lipner is a special breed of Endodontist.He saw me three times before the pain I was experiencing was able to be identified as coming from the wisdom tooth. That was no fault of his. The pain just wasnt localized enough until yesterday. He then had a dentist come in to confirm his recommendation of extraction or crown.All of that was done - 3 visits and a double doctor consultation - without any charge.He also didnt waste time and money on a 3D scan even though that was recommended to me by another dentist who I visited for the same problem who also charged for that single visit. Dr. Lipner was very clear that in my case it would not be useful.Overall he just guided me the right way and felt no need to charge me for those visits. What a guy!

This week was one of the hardest and painful week I went through with my pre molar toothache it was Driving me crazy, I couldn’t think straight, I cried, and I prayed to God that I would find a wonderful doctor to help me with this problem i was having. I’ve always avoided getting a root canal cause it just sounds scary. But there was no way out of this,because my nerve was dead in that tooth and the nerve was infected, that’s why I was having the worst pain ever. I’ve called many places, they were all booked. I thought I was going to die, I kept praying, and praying and with faith my husband found Midtown Endodontist NYC, he called and spoke with a sweet women named Michelle who helped me get a spot that same day to be taken care of with Dr Steven Lipner. I had the biggest smile with tears running down my face, knowing I’m no longer going to suffer anymore. I couldn’t wait for it to be 4:00 so I can get this done. I got there the place was very nice and very clean, they took care of me right away. Dr Lipner was kind and went through the steps of what was going to happen. You can tell he knows what he’s doing and he’s a pro at it, he’s confident in his work, and that made me feel very happy because someone who’s confident is the best at what they do. The procedure was fast and painless! I couldn’t believe how quick that was, I’m very grateful for the Good Doctors who care about us and want us to go home happy. All I can say is God is Good, God helped my husband find this place for me. Left out of there soooo happy with a funny looking smile because I was numbed up lol. This was my first time visiting this dental office. Dr. Lipner was absolutely exceptional. Many of us get nervous when it comes to root canal procedure. But Dr. Lipner made me very comfortable by explaining every steps of the process, and details. There were no pain through out the procedure. I am in total agree with the one star review below. He wont examine you thoroughly. He wont listen to you and he wont do anything if something went wrong. All he can say is I am not guarantee the outcome Without the right diagnosis, certainly your tooth would not be returned.

Dr. LIpner is an exceptional endodontist. He takes care with his patients and provides impressive results. I am very lucky to have found his office and grateful to have received the excellent services he provides.

Felt extremely rushed, the doctor was barely paying attention and was losing train of thoughts in his words. When I pointed out I had a wisdom tooth extraction and I may have a pain coming from a different tooth (that had a root canal before) in that area, he didnt even bother to examine it thoroughly and told me to wait it out as the tooth extraction area may still be healing (it has been 3 weeks since the extraction). He suggested it would be a lot of work. Fast forward to couple of days later and I was in a lot of pain. I visited Midtown Dental Group and they told me i need a CT scan asap by an endodontist. Went to a different endodontist who discovered I had an infection and my root canal was failing! Terrible, rushed experience!
