Because it was my first time ever getting a root canal, I was extremely nervous and had no idea what to expect. During the consultation, Dr. Han was extremely patient with answering all of the questions I had about the procedure. She was also super detailed during the consult, making sure that I do in fact need to have a root canal by doing various tests and taking x-rays. I saw Dr. Han 3 times total for the procedure because my infection was pretty bad. Each time, Dr. Han was able to inject local anesthesia into my gum with very little pain. She was also extremely gentle while doing the root canal. After my tooth was all healed, Dr. Han had me come in for a follow up to ensure that everything was okay. It is this kind of attention to detail that makes me feel very comfortable as a patient!If you are in need of a root canal and are nervous like I was, I highly recommend Dr. Han! I actually did some consultations with a few other endodontists prior to meeting Dr. Han, and none of them was as detailed, careful, and reassuring as her. Trust me, she is amazing!

Dr. Han is such a caring, humble and down to earth doctor and most importantly very knowledgeable. After visiting several endodontist, Dr. Han was the only doctor that was able to retreat, cure my infection and save my tooth. I am very grateful to have been recommended to Dr. Han. I went to her office for root canal treatment, it took me three visits to complete all the ground work and Dr. Han obviously knows what she is doing. Dr Han was amazing! i have never had work done in my mouth so painless. I am the biggest chicken when it comes to a dentist even a simple cleaning is painful but she performed a root canal and i literally did not feel 99% of it....yes i was awake and i saw her going in but it was pain-free....thanks you and see you in 2 weeks!!

I do not usually write reviews, but considering how challenging is to find a good dentist these days, even in NYC, I had to say something about Dr. Han hooping that more people who are researching the internet, like i was, for more than just a average dentist , stumble into these reviews. Dr. Han is an amazing dentist, and a very sweet person, which helps a lot in moments of distress. She explains to the patient every step so you don’t have to wonder what she’s doing with your teeth. From my previous experience root canals are painful even when your mouth is numbed, but she’s super gentle and I felt nothing during the procedure. I really hope more people get lucky enough to get taken care of by Dr. Han. Oh and one more thing, she provides awesome restaurant recommendations. Thank you Dr. Han for making the dentist experience pleasant.

Dr. Han is absolutely amazing ! I honestly think she is the best Endodontist. She is extremely thorough, precise, meticulous, kind, gentle and caring. My situation was pretty complicated and she did a tremendous job. If you need to see an endodonist you MUST see her. You won’t regret it.

While on a trip out of the US I developed a problem with a tooth, and was told I was going to lose the tooth. When I got back to the US I found Dr. Han (through the practice of Steven Kaplan) who performed a root canal on the tooth. It took several visits, and Dr. Han was very clear in explaining every step of the process. The procedures were painless and she did everything she could to make sure I was comfortable. Dr. Han took a significant amount of time after each procedure to explain where we were at and how the tooth structure works. She is very passionate about her work, a total dental nerd, which is exactly the type of dentist you want for a root canal. Her expertise, combined with her kindness and overall great personality makes her an obvious choice if you need endodontic work performed. I highly recommend her.

It cannot be overstated how much I adored Dr. Han and my first-rate experience at this office. After needing my first root canal last Tuesday, I found myself searching zocdoc and google for the best reviewed endodontist in Manhattan and landed here. These dozen five-star reviews are legit: Dr. Han is kind, patient, funny, and genuinely interested in your well-being. She explained the procedure thoroughly, somehow making nerve pulp and dentin seem interesting, and then approached each instrument and step of the procedure like a highly skilled sharpshooter. From a patient standpoint, it was fascinating and gratifying to watch someone nerd out and revel in their profession, which put me at complete ease. The root canal itself was painless and went without at hitch, and even the dental assistant and front desk staff were wonderful throughout the process. Did I mention Dr. Han enjoys listening to soothing Hans Zimmer scores while working? Between the music and this doctor, my experience here was epic.

Cannot agree more with everything that has already been said about Dr. Han. She is extremely knowledgable in her field, and extremely diligent and meticulous and in her practice. I found Dr. Han while searching for an Endodontics specialist after suffering trauma to the mouth area that resulted in 2 dead and displaced front teeth. I was in shambles after this accident, I thought it was game over - I would have to replace these teeth if I wanted them to look event close to the way they did prior to the accident. It has been over a year since my first treatment and my teeth actually look even better than before the accident. And they are still my real teeth! No crown, veneer, or transplant needed, lucky me. I am eternally grateful to have received top-notch care from Dr. Han. The full treatment required what felt like countless appointments and follow-ups, but Dr. Han was very thorough and detailed in her explanations and with the options she presented me every time. I ended up receiving root canals on both front teeth, internal bleaching to remove the discoloration left from the dead nerves, and some small cosmetic touch-ups like bonding and smoothing of chipped edges.Thank you so much Dr. Han, and if anyone is seeking endodontic care, you wont find anyone better!
