Friendly and professional staff from front desk, to dental techs and dentist. I can only think of a few experiences worse than receiving a root canal but was pleased with my experience at FiDi. Dr. Wu was knowledgeable and presented me with all possible scenarios/options prior to starting the procedure. I’m not an expert but seemed like they were using the latest tech which also made me more comfortable. If you need a root canal (and I hope you don’t), I recommend this place for sure.

FiDi Endodontics handled my scheduling, providing information about my procedure. Dr. Lawrence Tam explained every single step as we were going through the root canal. I fell asleep for the first hour of the segment, but now it’s been 4 days since the procedure and it feels fairly normal. 100 out of 10 would recommend to anyone who needs a root canal procedure done.

It was amazing. I came in with a root canal that was attempted at a dentist office and it was a pretty traumatic experience. I searched for a specialist for a while before coming here. Initially it was going to be a consultation and I ended up coming back for the procedure after lunch time. Everything went really well considering how terrified I was of getting it done. I felt NO PAIN. Post root canal ( now- 5 days later) the healing has no pain. I haven’t had to take anything for this the entire time. Doctor and nurses here are really sweet! I would HIGHLY recommend. They took insurance and I had no outrageous fees like my first attempt. Really happy to have had such a high quality experience, this really changes the narrative for dental trauma!! I’ve also got direct recommendations for a dentist. This office has been absolutely amazing! A previous root canal was infected and I was unsure of which route to take for treatment. Dr. Won thoroughly explained what my options were and although scary, I decided to go with the apico procedure instead of a re-treatment. Everything about this procedure was explained to me in full detail so I knew exactly what to expect.Inclusively, the care I have received has been like no other. She has followed up everyday to ensure that everything has been good since the procedure. A well run dental practice with a professional, caring and capable team. I had to get a re-treatment done and was fortunate to be in the steady care of Dr. Won. She was very patient, explained everything and answered all questions no matter how silly. She has a very calming and soothing presence which goes a long way when youre going through a 2 hour+ dental appointment. But its not just the dentist. The dental assistant was also very helpful and well prepared. And the person at the front desk was great as well. She is likely the one that will answer your calls, set up appointments, and explain all the insurance details to you and she does an outstanding job at that. Very detailed, walks you through every item so you understand and have proper expectations. Overall, as much of a painful experience root canals can by, the staff at FiDi Endodontics definitely makes it as smooth and seamless as possible and I highly recommend them to anybody who wants dental care done right.

My root canal experience at FiDi Endodontics was about as pleasant and considerate as dental work can be! Dr. Won was gentle, calm and reassuring, explained what she was doing, what I should expect to feel (and for how long) and follow-up steps I should take so that the infection I was recovering from would continue to heal, and to help improve the health of my gums. Her dental assistant and front desk staff were also very nice, helpful, caring and professional. The practice gave me a helpful written sheet of instructions and matters to consider, and communicated with my primary dentist. They facilitated coordination of my dental insurance/benefits. Dr Won followed up with me by text the next day to follow up on how I was doing. I was comfortable throughout the procedure, and during the days that followed.

Every step in the care I received was excellent. I got an appointment within two days of my call. Customer care was efficient once I arrived for my appointment. I got treatment from Dr. Allyson Won and she was so great! I was in so much pain from a tooth that already had root canal treatment years ago in a different state and my dentist referred me here. I was able to get a slot in very soon and I was given a thorough explanation as to why my tooth’s roots were uniquely shaped and difficult to treat and that I would need to get an implant if this re-root canal would fail. I felt no pain during the procedure and Dr. Won was super attentive as well. 6 months later, the treatment was definitely successful and I now know that root canals can fail so I will come back here if I need another one.

I had a great experience at FiDi Endodontics and highly recommend their practice. Everyone at the office was so pleasant and professional. I am a nervous wreck when it comes to going to the dentist for any procedure, but the staff, nurses and dentists are the BEST. They take their time explaining what are the issues and make sure you understand what needs to be done. They always treat you like a VIP, the most important person in the room. I have completed several root canals with Dr Tam and post procedure recovery has been a breeze. Won’t go to anyone else for a root canal! They also have great music and I love the Great Ocean videos that they play on the TV. So relaxing.

Honesty and Integrity. I had my first ever endodontic appointment today that was supposed to be a root canal. After a few short X rays and a couple of other quick tests and exam, Dr. Allyson Won deemed it not necessary, at least at this point. In a world where I have felt that I am being billed out constantly, it is refreshing to have an honest Dr. guide me the best she could through my options and logically explained what my situation is. I went in expecting to spend 4 digits but left spending 3! Of course I hope to never have to get a root canal, but if I do, Dr. Won will definitely be performing it. Lastly, I called late last Friday and they were able to see me today (the following Monday!) My experience was A+

Visited FiDi Endodontics for a root canal during the start of the year . My first impression was the office was clean and organized. Lawrence Tam was super friendly, talked me through what was happening with my teeth and explained the procedure before he did anything. So I felt confident before he started with the injections, drilling and what not joys of root canals. I ​found the whole process rather painless and over and done before I knew it.Lawrence talked me through what to expect over the course of the next few days. I have no qualms with going back, in fact I actually need to go back for a follow up appointment and another less problematic root canal but Im just being slack.What also really impressed me was they gave me a nifty usb of my x-rays etc without needing to ask. This is super helpful for someone like me who tends to move around and never have any past medical or dental records. And I also appreciated they billed my insurance company promptly as it helps know where I am in regards to remaining balances etc.Highly recommend I schedule your appointment and ask for Lawrence.

I am grateful to Dr. Angela Wu. My primary dentist suggested a tooth extraction but I wanted to try to keep the tooth. I went to one root canal specialist who also think its too complicated to keep the tooth. out of desperation I looked online and found FIDI. Dr. Wu listened carefully to my concern and while she also thought extracting a tooth may be a rational decision, she was willing to give it a try. She explained to me the risk and benefits of doing a root canal and I was fully aware that it could fail but I insisted that I want to try and she was very supportive.The process was complicated as I have very curvy roots. She was so thorough and detail oriented that I had to do half it the work one time and the other half another time. I think Dr. Wu spent more than 3 hours in total for my root canal. It has been more than half a year and my general dentist told me it was a great job by Dr. Wu. I feel no pain whatsoever at this point. She totally save my tooth!I also think the receptionist ( the young man working there) was very nice and courteous on the phone and in person at the office. Insurance was dealt easily. Overall a great experience with FiDI and I highly recommend Dr. Wu if anyone needs a root canal.

One of the best experiences I’ve ever had with a dentist and her team! I’ve been to like 17 different dentists and I never had an experience that was positive. They reassured me and took care of me right away. I didn’t have to wait a month in pain to see a doctor. Betty was able to get me in the next day and addressed all my concerns and helped me find a better general dentist. Orjeta calmed me down and made me feel better because I was very anxious about what would happen. As for Dr. Wu Angela, I almost feel asleep from how gentle she was. So kind and took the time to explain things to me and develop a plan moving forward. Really appreciate all they did! Defff recommend this office for any concerns regarding her specialty as an Endodontist.

I was terrified to get a root canal. I was near tears in the office. The staff were so nice and reassuring and patient. Dr. Angela Wu took the time to explain everything to me. My personal dentist recommended me to Doctor Tam after I developed symptoms of root canal infection on the side of my gum. I learned that she had recommended a few patients to him in the past and felt that he has the experience, skill and reliability to perform endodontic work. I was so nervous that I asked for sedation during the re-treatment. He didn’t recommended that; and the procedure was completed without pain while I was listening to the music of my choosing. The procedure appeared to be much shorter than the 90 minutes estimated. Although he suggested several Advil a day if I felt pain after, but I only took them just in case on the first day and didn’t need any after. My dentist examined the x-ray received and commented the good result.

I was able to trust them. They were accommodating, clear communicators, and expectations well. It made the unpleasantry of a root canal much more bearable.

Dr. Tam is a lifesaver. I came to see him in literal tears and he worked very hard to research the cause of my very complicated case. He is genuinely caring of his patients and takes the time to explain every detail. He calls to follow up which is above a beyond in my experience. His bedside manner is wonderful. Given that the purpose of my visit was to get a root canal I was not looking forward to the experience at all. Not to say that I enjoyed it but Doctor Tam was very friendly and empathetic. He explained the entire process to me before we got started and really put me at ease. The procedure, while uncomfortable, was really not that bad. I was comfortable in the dentist chair and got to pick the music they played while the worked on me. It actually really helped to have music that I like to distract me from the drilling.If I had to do it again I would definitely recommend Fidi. They seem to take COVID very seriously. The doctor and his assistant wore masks, shields and gloves. The staff was friendly. The office is clean. There was only one other person in the waiting area when I arrived and only one waiting when I left.I felt safe the whole time. I couldn’t be more pleased with the overall experience.

Whatever, just want to move on and forget about this experience.Original review: Horrible service. Came to do a 3D x-ray of one tooth. They only got it right from the 4th try because turned out they were using the wrong attachment for the x-ray machine. Spent there more than an hour and got 4 times more radiation then I was supposed to get.

Dr. Tam was absolutely fantastic in every way: he was super patient, explained everything in great detail and answered every question thoroughly without any of the irritation and rhe rushing often characteristic of other doctors; when performing the procedures, he was thorough, methodical, took his time, talked me through everything he was doing, was very attentive at my verbal and non-verbal cues, made sure I was never in pain, and I believe he did an extraordinary job in the end. I should have left a review after my first root canal years ago because everyone painted a picture of how painful a root canal would be and it was completely the opposite of that. So today I go back years later for my second root canal and once again Dr Tam and his staff were so nice, so welcoming and Dr Tam once again made my root canal painless and even showed me 3D pictures of what was happening and whats going to happen and what happened. What does it mean when a root canal is less painful than a regular cleaning? What does it mean when you rather make another appointment for a root canal you dont need rather than an appointment for a cleaning lol. It means Dr Tam is a rockstar.

They deserve every start in the Galaxy! First, Dr. Tam and the rest of his staff are just awesome human beings. I walked in the Endo office scared as hell because that’s not something to look forward to and post root canal I walked out of there smiling - ain’t that crazy?Exactly! These people are amazing. Dr. Tam is the real MVP and he knows his stuff! The man is a walking brain.

FiDi Endodontics was accommodating with scheduling my appointment and punctual while there.Dr. Wu was extremely personable and made me feel more at ease with getting my first and hopefully last root canal.She was very thorough with explaining the process before, during and after the procedure was done and released my pain once the root canal was finally complete. Best place ever! I had a róót canal done there. Yes Im in a little pain but its a good kinda pain because they were flawlessly good. Believe me I know because Ive had plenty of them. (Irishman!)

Dr. Tam and his whole staff are amazing! The office felt organized and prepared for everything. The doctor listens well, is empathetic, and skillful! I was at ease and the procedure was pretty much painless.This was my second time there and I am happy to recommend Dr. Tam most highly!

No one wants to deal with a root canal. My dental office recommended FiDi Endodontics and I’m glad they did. Very clean, courteous and professional. With my request/consent music played ( classic rock)... a nature video was on the large screen tv (Blue Planet) and I was given alpine sunglasses to dim the glare. The procedure went by methodically and I was never in discomfort. I will recommend FiDi to family and friends if they ever have the need.

I had an emergency root canal done here, and from start to finish it was an amazing experience. I called one morning to inquire regarding an appointment, and within the day they were able to get back to me with an opening and fit me in the day of, with Dr. Kim.Dr. Kim was extremely professional, warm, and friendly. Due to terrible and painful past experiences with other dentists, I communicated that my biggest concern was pain during the procedure. He not only took this concern incredibly seriously - by explaining every move he was making in order to minimize the pain I felt - but also checked in frequently to see if I was comfortable, and increasing anesthesia when necessary. He explained all of his decision making, and gave me a voice in my own dental work. When I ended up waiting an hour to be seen, he profusely apologized for the delay, and even called me after the procedure to apologize again. Ive never seen this level of care and courtesy at any place, much less a dentists office.In terms of expertise, it was unparalleled. Dr. Kim showed me the scans and X-rays to explain that my canals were unusual and very crooked, and may still retain some sensitivity - however, its been about a month since the procedure and for the first time in a year, I feel absolutely no pain. Post-op recovery was quick, and without any complications.I ended up seeing Dr. Kim three times, twice for a procedure and once for a follow up. Each time was professional, courteous, and truly a great experience - something I thought Id never say about going to the dentist! I highly, highly recommend this place. I paid out of pocket to see a great dentist, and it was worth every penny.

Dr. Tam and the Dental assistant that took care of me were very good. Dr. Tam made me feel very comfortable and relaxed as he did my root canal. I havent felt this relaxed since the dentist I had when I was a teenager, which was many yrs ago. I would definitely recommend FiDi Endodontics. Thank you Dr Tam.

Dr Wu was terrific. She performed a root canal (sorry to say my third with her) with proficiency and without pain.Highly recommended

What can I say about Dr. Tam.. I never thought a root canal could be Zen like. I’ve had root canals before. I‘ve never had one before where I had no pain during or after. Did he hypnotize me.. I don’t know, maybe? I don’t need another one but I almost wish I did..To go back and sit in his chair..and listen to him talk in that soothing voice...while music plays and sea life gently swims in front of your eyes on a wide screen. Amazing!

I never knew I could enjoy a root canal procedure. I had an old one extracted from my 2nd premolar and this is not an easy task, that’s why I needed a good endodontist. After showing me the X-rays and scans Dr Lawrence assured me that he can save the tooth and explained everything to me in great detail. He made me feel relaxed before and through out the procedure. He also removed a gunk of calculus. This guy knows his stuff! The staff is great and this place has a tranquil and comforting ambiance. Great place!!

I was having severe pain and needed an emergency appt to be seen for a root canal that my dentist started. I called Fidi and was able to come in same day just and hour later. I also got so lucky to meet Dr. Won she was so pleasant and answered all my questions. I could barely open my mouth or speak when I came in and I left in tears!! I don’t usually get emotional but after the pain I was experiencing I was honestly scared to let her touch my mouth. She was sooo gentle and professional, I can honestly say that was the happiest I have ever been leaving a dental office. Thanks again to Dr.Won for her amazing work and her dental assistant who was also very caring. The only negative was the rude secretary at the front desk. She did not sympathize at all with my situation and how hard it was for me to communicate in such severe pain when I walked in, she couldn’t even calmly explain my insurance benefits. For an office with such an amazing Doctor and staff they should have someone more compassionate sitting and greeting patients.I would still highly recommend this office but most importantly Dr.Won!
