I am one of the many people who dont like going to the dentist for one reason or another. I am always nervous, especially during root canal treatment. I found the place to be extremely clean and the people very professional. They made me feel very comfortable and the process went smoothly within the allotted time. Very easy to get an appointment and the location is very accessible. The dentist and hygienist were excellent. I highly recommend them.

Dr. Chubak and his team are fantastic. I went for a root canal treatment last year and the team was super welcoming and professional. I was seen at the time I had my appointment and the treatment was pain free and as pleasant as dental visits can be. Unfortunately, a cyst built around the tip of the root of the treated tooth, so I had to get additional treatment a half year later. Despite the time that had lapsed since the initial treatment, this was seen as a follow-up treatment and I was only charged a very small fee for the three additional visits to fix the cyst problem. They certainly care about making their patients healthy and happy! It looks like all went well, and I highly recommend recommend Dr. Chubak for endodontic treatments.

Had 2 root canals down by a dentist a year or two ago --- overall -- took 6 visits and about 7 hours combinedWow.... night and day different compared to the actual dentist that did the root canal haha.... idk why she didnt tell me to go to him ha!Didnt feel a thing after the numbing shot -- from the time he gave me the shot to numb my gums until he took the dental dam out of my mouth.... like less than 30 minCouldnt not be more of an advocate for them6 Stars if it was possible!

Dr Jacobson is super thorough, explains everything, does a great job at the procedures, and most importantly makes me feel like he really cares about his patients! I went to see a different endo during covid because I was uncomfortable traveling to his office, and he called the new endo before and after to give a debrief on my tooth, while he was on medical leave! Literally the most above and beyond doctor I know of.

Dr. Chubak and his staff were phenomenal. You know youre in good hands when the doctor who recommends another doctor actually goes to said doctor themselves. With Dr. Chubak I see why. While having to have a root canal is nobodys idea of a good time the process was done with impeccable care, professionalism, and overall compassion. I dont ever want to have another root canal, but if I do, Im definitely going there.

The office was so clean, efficient and well run - I was impressed upon entrance. The front desk let me know exactly how much my insurance covered before the treatment. Dr Chubak was friendly and connected at a personal level while staying very professional. He answered all of my questions, calmed my nerves and let me know exactly what to expect every step of the way. I was getting my first root canal and I was so scared. It was so much easier than I anticipated and I left feeling well cared for and thankful that I had gotten such an awesome referral. He showed me what he did via the x-rays and it amazed me that someone could do such intricate work. I didnt realize how much pain I was in until he fixed it!

I can’t say enough good things about this practice. Their COVID precautions are the best I’ve seen anywhere, and I felt extremely comfortable throughout the whole visit. The other great thing about this office is the staff! Jennifer at the front desk is so caring and compassionate. She made me feel very comfortable from the first phone call through both visits. Dr. Jacobson and his assistant were absolutely great! Polite, considerate, concerned, amazing follow-up, and Dr. Jacobson has helped me overcome that crazy childhood fear of dentists. Skilled, sensitive and sympathetic.

With all the stress from the pandemic, my clenching habit got worse and ended up breaking an old filling. Unfortunately, it was a deep fracture and ended up needing a root canal. Without any hesitation, I gave a call to Dr. Chubak and Jacobson, and the office contacted me back right away, despite being a holiday weekend.Making an appointment was so simple and easy, and so was today’s treatment! In no time Dr.Chubak addressed the area of concern and treated me with the most updated technology. Trust me, I would know since I work in the field (I am a general dentist myself).I cannot thank the entire team enough for such an awesome treatment I have received today, and am excited to finally use my tooth again! :)

Highly recommended. The team handled my dental emergency with just the right balance of friendly casualness and professional concern. The docs are great, but the rest of the staff was almost better. They made me feel right at home even though it was my first visit and I was stressed out about my tooth.

After returning from my honeymoon with severe tooth pain, I needed to quickly find an endodontist. Dr. Jacobson found time to bring me in immediately and the process was really easy and pain free. I was out of there in an hour and didnt even have pain the next day! Great staff that makes you feel comfortable. Highly recommend.

I can not be more thrilled with the outcome from Dr. Chubak. I recently had a toothache and came to the courage of going to the dentist. After a thoroughly research I could not read enough positive feedback about this practice so I gave it a shot. As soon as I walked in the door I knew I made a great decision. The staff greeted me by my first name and I didnt have to fill out any of that grueling paperwork. I was then introduced to Dr. Chubak and he was awesome! Took some x-rays and told me that I have to get a root canal!!! I booked it a couple of days later and I could not be pleased! The process was absolute perfection! I could not be more happier. He was very calm and coached me through it the whole time. I highly recommend him !!!

Getting a root canal done there was actually THE best experience Ive ever had at a dentist.It sounds crazy to say that since most people dont enjoy getting root canals, but it was actually painless (literally I didnt feel anything) which I was so surprised by and the procedure was so fast it was too!The entire staff in the office were so warm and welcoming right from when I walked in the door. The way the they communicate with you and with each other gives more of a family feeling, so especially if you are nervous to have a dental done like I was, I would highly recommend checking them out!

This practice is fantastic! I was seen immediately, no wait time for my appointment, and the doctor took the time to properly examine the tooth that was causing me pain. I did unfortunately need my first root canal, but it was actually painless and one of the best experiences Ive had with a dentist. I saw Dr. Jacobson and I found him to be very nice and highly confident in his work. Definitely recommend.

I want to start by saying the staff at this office is amazing - as I walked in I was greeted by my first name. I went to Dr. Jacobson to see if it was possible to do a retreatment on my tooth that already had a root canal done. The tooth started aching due to negligence of the previous doctor that had worked on my tooth. His staff took X-rays of my tooth and he reviewed it with me in a way I understood and could comprehend.In addition to being diagnosed, the office was ready to do treatment on me that same day. Dr. Jacobson then told me that he was going to take the broken file out and do the retreat on my tooth. I was thrilled with excitement that I was going no longer to be in pain or that I wasn’t going to lose my tooth. I want to let Dr. Jacobson and his staff know I really appreciate everything they have done!!!

Had to have 3 root canals and was referred to them by my main dentist. I went in with the old antiquated views of what a root canal was, and was pleasantly surprised at how quick and painless the procedures were!I’m taking better care of my teeth so I don’t hope to see them soon, but if I have to down the line I’m relieved to know that I can come here and have great, effective Dental work done. BEST experience. I had never had a root canal and was extremely anxious about it. Luckily I had no pain, so was able to search around for options. I found Dr. Chubak via googling around, and after reading other reviews of his root canals decided to schedule with him. The whole experience was honestly great. I emailed initially and was surprised to hear back very quickly from Dr. Chubak himself. He answered my questions and even asked me to send a photo of my fistula after which he confirmed I needed to come in. He pointed me to Jen to set up my appointment, which I was able to get within a few business days. When I arrived, Jen and Carly at the front were extremely warm. I filled out my forms and had no wait at all. Before my procedure the staff was able to give me a cost estimate factoring in my insurance, which was great. My procedure was on one of my front teeth. If you dont count the shot of Novocain (which of course is uncomfortable, its a shot) I had zero pain during the whole thing, and as Im writing this the next day have essentially no discomfort. The whole procedure was done within an hour. Dr. Chubak and Maria were quick, efficient, and very nice. Honestly this root canal was easy; way more pleasant experience than fillings Ive had! It was fast but not rushed. I was able to ask questions without being rushed at all. AND Dr. Chubak followed up that evening with a short note to check in to see how I was doing after the root canal. Its hard to find great care along with friendliness/compassion in the medical and dental fields these days, especially in New York. This office is definitely an exception to the norm. DEFINITELY go here especially if they are in network with your coverage.

This was such a positive experience for me, from my first call to the office to schedule an appointment, all the way through the process to completion of the root canal procedure. I got an appointment without any long delays, and the consult was followed by the procedure, also without delay. It was fast and painless. And they even participate in my dental insurance! I strongly recommend this practice.

Dr. Jacobson has a quiet presence, personable and engaging. It was my first root canal and evidently anxious.His expertise and self-confidence immediately put me at ease.Three shots of anesthesia and I was so numb I only felt slight pressure. It was quick and painless. That eveningI took a Bikram yoga class to welcome 2019. I had a great class! The next day I had limited soreness or discomfort. If you need a root canal --THIS IS the place. Enormously grateful!

I highly recommend this clinic to whomever is in need of a Root Canal. I came in terrified of having my very first root canal, thought and was told of the worse stories and experiences. But soon as i came in through the doors, i was greeted with friendly smiles from Jen and Carly. I went to the back to then be greeted by Dr. Chubak and Assistant Marie. Dr. Chubak gave me a detailed breakdown of what was going to happen, was very kind and patient with my nervousness and kindly calmed me down with his great sense of humor. Horrifying experience. Please read before deciding to go there.Considering their specialty is root canal, I made an appointment to see Dr. David Jacobson. Despite I brought x-rays that was taken from my general dentist in less than 2 weeks, they wanted me to take another x ray there ($$$). He took a brief look at it. Then, the procedure started. I didnt think too much at the beginning. In the middle of procedure, dental assistant asked Dr. Jacobson. Do you want the x ray taken? He said, No. then he started filling after root canal. After the procedure, they took the final x ray and it turns out that he missed a nerve.So, he says that he missed the nerve and that we need to do it again. Hence, he starts drilling down the filling again, then does root canal. It was done such in a rush and a rough manner (I assume he wanted to hurry and get his lunch).It was the most horrifying 3+ hours of procedure Ive done at any dental office due to a negligence of Dr. David Jacobson.It costed over 2,000$, and I really hope that there wouldnt be any complications or infections that would require another root canal in near future.Hope this review helps anyone who considers to spend $$$ and visit this office.

Very quick, efficient and painless! The team uses microscope to do the root canal which made me feel confident that the procedure will be thorough. No pain after (and its been two days now) and only minor soreness in my jaw. the procedure took less than an hour but I didnt feel rushed or that my questions/concerns werent answered. im recommending this office to my friends and coworkers

Easy, quick and painless. The doctors will let you know whats going on during the procedure. Front desk is incredible. Will setup payment plans if you are not covered. Dont go anywhere else if you need a root canal because you wont find anyone better.

My faith in humanity has been restored, thanks to Dr. Jacobson and Nicole.2 of the kindest people Ive met.This the first time a doctor called me and ask if Im doing okay after a tooth extraction, Weather the medication was effective, not to mention texting me from from his mobile phone.Definitely will and do recommend Dr. Jacobson to all people that lend an ear to my amazing experience.

I consulted Dr. Chubak because my supposedly expert endodontist told me that he could not explain why I had an abscess under a root of the treated tooth and that my best course would be to have the tooth pulled and replaced with an implant. In one hour, Dr. Chubak found the extra root canal that the expert had missed on three separate visits, cleaned out the infected material, filled the canal, and closed the tooth. Nobody wants to have a root canal. However, if you are going to do it, its worth doing it right the first time!

Dr. Chubak and the whole team were great. I hardly ever post reviews but he did a great job and the whole process (root canal) was smooth and relatively pain-free.

I have had the good fortune and pleasure to be a patient in Drs. Jacobson and Chubaks office. I saw Dr. Jacobson. Fortunately I did not need a root canal (yet!) but in his assessment of my tooth pain Dr. J. was thorough, attentive to my report and description of pain and clear in his explanation of what he thought was the origin of my pain. He gave me a few practical pointers to manage it and things to look out in the future to avoid disasters. I am grateful to have found him and have referred coworkers. Would not think twice about returning to the office. Bonus: the front office ladies, Jen and Carly, are fabulous, friendly and on point with insurance verifications - copays: yes; surprises: none (as usual limited by what the insurance companies tell them). Overall a great experience and highly recommend!

Dr Chubak gave me an emergency root canal on MLK Day when everywhere else was closed. I had been in excruciating pain for four days prior with my toothache so it was such a relief that the actual procedure was painless and fast! I am very grateful to the team here for seeing me at short notice and providing excellent service. The staff here are highly professional and the waiting area was pleasant.

It has been one of the most positive and painless experiences. From making the appointment on ZocDoc, to filling out the forms in advance online to the courteous, professional staff, everyone was so warm, welcoming and extremely accommodating. The location is great and the office is stellar. Dr Chuback is absolutely fantastic. He explained everything to me in detail, started to work on my tooth same day as my consult due to my inexplicable pain and discomfort. He is warm, kind, caring and before he even started was sure to make sure that all my insurance and co-pay responsibilities were explained to me in advance. He kept me updated throughout the procedure and often asked if i was okay and if i felt any discomfort to raise my left hand. It wasn’t necessary. He even sent me a personal text this evening to make sure I was feeling okay and to call or text if i experienced any discomfort or pain. I can’t say enough about Dr. Chubak, the dental assistants and the entire staff. I am so happy I made the appointment and if I ever need this type of oral surgery again I know exactly where I am going, no hesitation.

Thanks a lot Dr. Jacobson! All I can say is wow....I had a great experience at this office. I was really surprised to have a root canal completed 100% pain free. I was really nervous at first but he talked me through what was going to happen and pointed out everything on the xray using language I could understand. He answered my questions, and then he got me so numb! During the treatment he used a microscope to see into my tooth and find all the canals. Pretty neat stuff. I hope I never need another root canal but if I do, Im coming here. Two thumbs up!!!

Best root canal ever! Very professional and pleasant office staff. It was surprisingly quick and easy, compared to root canals I’ve had in the past. Dr. Chubak quickly diagnosed problem tooth that others had missed. He thoroughly explained each part of the procedure as we went along and was very precise in his work and equipment seemed state of the art. Day after I was expecting pain and bruising but only have minimal soreness. The office even checked in post procedure to make sure I was ok!

I came to see Dr. Chubak for a root canal retreatment on a molar that seemed to be mildly infected. Upon drilling through the crown the tooth cracked and Dr. Chubak refused to continue treatment recommending extraction and implant. On top of this, I was charged $250 for his failure. Three weeks later I finished the root canal somewhere else and restored the tooth having assurance from my dentist that the forecast is favorable. I do NOT recommend Dr Chubak to anyone seeking a first time root canal, root canal retreatment or apicoectomy. Do not make the same mistake I did and trust the positive reviews (On a positive note, the staff is very nice).

The entire Endodontist experience has been upgraded at Jacobson & Chubak. The team is very warm and welcoming and shifts the focus from the procedure to the patient. Very reassuring that Dr. Chubak followed up the same day, via SMS, to insure my overall comfort and satisfaction.

I consulted Dr.Chuback for a root canal replacement and treatment following an infection. Dr. Chuback was very clear in his communication, made me feel super at ease with the procedure and after two visits, it was all successfully done.His team made everything around a root canal feel seamless. They asked for the music I wanted to listen to, made me feel comfortable and answered all my questions during the visits. I had just switched dentists and my tooth started killing me. Luckily he sent me over to see dr Chubak!They were able to see me very quickly.. office is in midtown near the subway.As soon as he saw the xray he knew what was wrong and how to fix it. he comfortably explained to me that I needed a root canal and then went through it with me so i wouldnt have any surprises.I was out of pain after the procedure and really was happy.The office is nice and clean, has great technology - he did my root canal looking through a microscope! He took some pictures and showed me - its complex stuff!If you need a root canal I would say to go here, no one wants a root canal but at least they got me out of pain and back to normal without any extra pain or issues.
