From Sophie the Office Manager to Dr. Kim and the staff my experience at Fifth Avenue Endodontics is great. I had a troubled root that needed surgeryfrom an infection. The practice always followed up with me and years later it needed attention again for circumstances beyond the work. Dr. Kim backed his work and was able to save my back tooth after having fully assessed the situation. You are in good hands at this place.

I usually dont leave reviews and consider myself a hard to please person. I was suffering from the toothache for a long time. I visited 3 dentists! No one as able to identify the problem and help me. Dr. Iofin was extremely professional, found the problem and fixed it in one visit! He has a light touch, very knowledgeable and nice person.

I dont recall ever having a more pleasant experience in a dentists office. No one wants to have a root canal procedure so you are prepared to be angry about the entire experience. Not here. Extremely nice office - everyone included. And the doctor could not have been more polite and professional. One hour later, hearing wonderful music and being totally calm I was told it was over. Cant be beat.

If you are looking for a positive outcome of a dental problem you are experiencing, you need to go see Dr. Iofin. He is very focused and devoted to his craft. I was in great pain for days and when I left his office after he performed a root canal I could tell he had done the best job possible. The pain was gone and the next day I was confident my tooth would be saved and so far it is. He will take time to explain what he is doing and why. He is gentle and one can tell he strives to do the best job possible. I could not recommend anyone with more enthusiasm.

Root canal is nobodys idea of a fun time, but if you have to do it, I would recommend Dr. Iofin and his excellent staff. Probably due to high pressure orthodontia back in the dental Dark Ages of the 1960s, I developed internal decay of three of my front teeth (the dreaded condition of resorption). Dr. Iofin deployed some seriously fancy state of the art equipment to carry out procedures that saved my teeth and left them better than new. I just went back for my six-month checkup, able to report that I have had not the slightest trouble with my new old teeth.

If you have to get a root canal, Dr. Iofin is the place to go. He and his staff are extremely efficient, friendly and sensitive. I felt no pain in getting the root canal and there was great effort made in easing any discomfort, both mentally and physically. I cant recommend them more; they treat you as a person and not just a patient.

Dr Iofin and his staff were amazing, very professional and a painless experience. I was in great pain on a Friday afternoon. They worked me in between other patients and because they have very sophisticated technology, Dr Iofin was able to identify a 4 th canal in my abscessed tooth which had been overlooked by a previous dentist. Cannot recommend Dr Iofin and his team highly enough! Not only did I have a pain free root canal, but the environment was so calming and pleasant that I almost fell asleep during the procedure! I was referred to Dr. Iofin from Dr. Bertinis office on the same floor. Six months ago, I had excruciating pain in my eye tooth and after being examined by Dr. Bertinis office, I immediately went over to Dr. Iofins office and he examined the tooth. It was the most pain that I have felt in a long time. Dr. Iofin said that it couldnt wait and to could come back that next day and get a root canal. Thank goodness because I could not have waited. I was very numb and he made sure that it was pain free and comfortable. After the numbness wore off, I may have a taken a Motrin but that was it. Recovery was good and just had a check up and all is well.This office also, has the latest in technology and Dr. Iofin teaches at the University, because to teach it, you need to know it!I recommend Dr. Iofin and this office but hopefully do not have to come back again! If you know what I mean. ps. Insurance did cover this for me and was grateful for that too..

Dr. Iofin is an expert endodontist. I am very happy that I went to him today for a root canal consultation. Dr. Iofin has the latest technical equipment. He explains everything carefully and works quickly and performed the procedure painlessly. Most of all it is clear that he is a caring endodontist. I want to start off by stating that I am a dentist. I went to Fifth Avenue Endodontics to have root canal retreated. The original root canal was completed nine years ago by another dentist out of state. I was treated by Dr. Iofin. Before starting, Dr. Iofin used a CT scan to visualize my tooth and to see the exact location where the previous root canal had failed. Dr. Iofin is a talented endodontist. My retreat was not an easy one. My roots were severely curved. When I reviewed the before and after radiographs I was extremely impressed at the quality of Dr. Iofin’s work. I would definitely recommend Dr. Iofin and Fifth Avenue Endodontics if you are in need of a root canal.
