I would highly recommend Dr. Randolph Todd if a root canal is a necessity. With decades of experience, he is extremely knowledgeable and his office has current, excellent diagnostic tools. I appreciated that he was willing to begin the procedure immediately and not require a future appointment after the consult. His staff offered me an option to split up the billing of the procedure and although it was self pay up front, they submitted the claim to my insurance company so that I could be reimbursed what my policy would allow. When my family member was in prolonged pain after a root canal elsewhere that was never properly completed, Dr. Todd kindly diagnosed the true problem and was able to effectively correct it. He demonstrated care and concern, even contacting me on his personal cell phone while on vacation to be sure my questions were answered and encouraging me to be in touch at any time if I had concerns.

He may be a very good technician, but be prepared to pay the entire bill the day you have your procedure (root canal) and if you request a payment plan, be prepared to have them resist and in general make you feel pretty bad because you cant fork over $2500 or $3000 on the spot.Id also recommend getting a second opinion on whether you do need a root canal, because I felt bulldozed by Dr. Todd and the dentist who sent me to him and when I went to see him on the reccomendation of my dentist, he said we would be doing the root canal at that moment. He is not a pleasant person on top of everything else.
