Dr. Kim and Dr. Choi are both absolutely amazing!! I had such a dental emergency going on and they really treated my suffering with the utmost importance and care. Dr. Choi fixed a failed root canal from another doctor and did excellent work. I was also misdiagnosed by a previous doctor. I had a massive infection in the tooth next to the root canal. Dr. Kim stayed to figure out the issue and stayed after hours from 5-7:30pm on Friday of memorial day weekend!! to treat and drain the infection because I was bawling and panting in excruciating pain, and she refused to let that be (although please dont make this kind dr stay late like I did! lol). She kept saying how thankful she was that she stayed late because I would have been in such terrible pain (such sincere kindness and empathy!!), and may end up in the ER without any good options. It was a scary experience but they and everyone in their office made me feel safe. Thank you again to everyone in this practice - my heroes!!

Dr. Choi is fantastic! He takes an evidenced based approach to his treatment, very articulate to explain each step including the statistics of success. He includes you in his treatment decisions as a partner and not a patient. Extremely knowledgeable on the best approaches for you! Very keen to details and consults with other experts to provide the best treatment.Its rare finding a dentist who cares for you & long term health of your teeth. The team is deeply concern for you to make you as comfortable during the procedure and any follow ups.He treats his staff with respect and cultivated a safe environment for his patients and his team, especially during these uncertain times.

I had a root canal emergency, and I was lucky to find Dr. Kim. My dental insurance did not cover this endodontic emergency, but Dr. Kim’s staff was very kind, and helped me to set up a financial arrangement that worked for me. My root canal treatment required a specialist, and Dr. Kim did an excellent job. Her communication was very professional and caring. An extra plus for the choice of music that was playing in the background. I get very anxious at the dentist’s, but listening to that beautiful music helped me a lot. Thank you Dr. Kim!

I can’t recommend Dr Kim highly enough. I’ve seen Dr Kim twice now with painful toothaches, most recently at her new location on East 60th St. The first time I was very impressed by how thorough her exam was. She called my regular dentist for a lengthy consultation, spent a long time analyzing the CT scan that had been taken previously, and explained everything to me very carefully, arriving at a diagnosis that was honest and in my interest, even though it wasn’t in her financial interest. The second time was more or less the same. The amount of time she spent explaining my problem was truly impressive. I felt like I got answers from her that were more direct and thorough than from any other medical professional I can recall. Fortunately I don’t have extensive experience going to endodontists, but she must be one of the best in the city.

Dr Kim puts people first. Her communication was at all times personable, professional and deeply caring. She spent the time consulting prior to each stage of my root canal treatment to help me understand the treatment and the steps involved. In the chair she was prompt yet gentle, and an evident perfectionist. She followed up with a call to see how I was feeling the day after the treatment which spoke to her genuine approach. I would recommend Dr Kim to anyone needing endodontic treatment, she will not only treat the pain promptly but with a lovely demeanor not many specialists imbue. Thankyou Dr Kim for fixing my pain!

This is a top-notch practice. Very kind dentists who are quite competent and explain everything to you thoroughly. The office was super clean. All the staff treated me better than Ive ever been treated on a health visit. I definitely recommend them!

Dr Kim is a wonderful dentist. She specializes in root canals, and she really knows her stuff. Ive had two root canals, and both times I had hardly any pain after the procedure, which is pretty amazing for a root canal. Highly recommended!

Dr.Kim is awesome. She is really professional and has a warm heart. I got diagnosis that I have to do implant 3times, but Dr. Kim found a really small canal and saved my tooth. The hidden canal that was so small that it was difficult to find was saved thanks to Dr. Kim Soo-gyeongs heartfelt care and treatment for a long time. It was so painful before receiving treatment that it was difficult to withstand a few hours without medicine, but it is still so amazing that the pain disappeared completely after treatment. I really recommend it.
