NOTHING COMPARES. Best blow-outs of my life! When I used to live in NYC, this was my go-to salon for a blow-out. My style would last days, with the most beautiful volume. Man, I miss this place dearly, and have yet to find another salon that masters hair styling like these talented ladies!

I go to this beauty salon twice a month to pamper myself. This salon is one of my favorites because they consistently exceed my expectations, especially with their facial treatments. I still feel revitalized after the procedure. Beauty salon that comes highly recommended!

Outstanding service and the biggest salon I had ever visited in this town. The products that they used was a high-end one. After the facial, I can see how my skin glowing instantly. This salon was indeed an expert and professional in giving beauty service. The staves were so friendly and accommodating as well as the owner.

The workers were clean, beautiful, and very helpful. They even have a good outcome for every service youve been calling for. I came here recently to ask for a pedicure, and the staff did a fantastic job. Also, it was a really nice place to stay and wait, because it was just clean and it had a lot of rooms. All in all, this shop was the best!

Marysia Beauty Salon in East Village is a very professional team using the newest technology products with warm, customer friendly atmosphere (without the “posh” attitude of some of the hair salons in this trendy part of town in East Village). I am a returning happy customer and I am sure each time my hair will look like desired.I strongly recommend Monika (for color and cut) and Marysia, the owner. I had an overgrown ombre with ends being damaged and too bleached from previous job. Monika repaired it and evented out to a natural gradual shade transition from my natural ash brown to a dark ash blond at the ends, with the use of a newest Italian color brand. After toner came off the ends after 1 month, Monika agreed to do a fix on my hair endings combined in the price for roots touch up. I have had the perfect ombre I desired for 5 months now, and which I was previously was trying to get over the last 2 years! The color brand Monika used is the first colour product to use hyaluronic acid. It is the Multi Lamellar Vehicle technology which allows pigments to penetrate deeply whilst protecting their integrity for longevity and soft, easy to detangle hair.I am usually very picky and specific about the color, cut and styling of my hair.I have been fully satisfied with the Marysia Beauty Salon friendly services.After over 15 years living in NYC I finally found my hair salon!

I love Marysia. A few ladies have cut my hair and they all have done a beautiful job and its not expensive compared to other hair salons.

The only reason Im giving this 2 stars instead of 1 is because I have had one women (Eva) do a good job of highlights in the past.Today I had Anna, and she burned my hair off. I am so shocked I walked out with wet hair crying. Both Anna and Marysia kept telling me its normal for highlights. Ive been highlighting my hair my whole life and know that chunks of hair should not be falling out after highlights like this.I have very fine hair and stated in the beginning that I would rather be under processed than have it break.Ill now have to go to another place to get it cut short. Im never coming back after the way they normalized the breakage. Marysia even said it was just me not liking the hairdresser because Anna and Eva are the same.The photo is one of many chunks of hair that came out when I ran my fingers through it.

Needed a quick blow out and found them on Google Maps. Not only were they super quick and efficient but the price is honestly unbeatable for the area the salon is located in. Post COVID, they were taking precautions with masks, face shields, social distancing, etc. great service and definitely will be coming back !

Such a great find! I was looking for a cheap place to get a simple cut and this is definitely cheap and they do an amazing job! I also just walked in on a busy Saturday and they were more than happy to help Me! I will definitely be back!

I came to Marysia with my hair ruined, and they treated me very well, and perhaps most winningly they were honest about what could/couldn’t be done with my hair. (This was not ‘I don’t like it’ but an overprocessing nightmare that shocked everyone created by head of my reputable previous salon.) The lead stylist at Marysia inspired confidence and was conservative in creating a plan for my hair, which is exactly what I needed. The girls working there all look great, which helps one feel confident about the place too. I’m very happy to have my hair recovering and feeling I received great value. I’ll certainly be back in a few weeks. Thank you!

The quality of the cut was fine, my stylist obviously knew what she was doing. But she was very hard on my hair and scalp, and after half an hour with hard combing I felt as if I was losing the sensation in my scalp, and I’m generally not a physically sensitive person when it comes to my hair. Further, there was no communication between me any stylist. She asked me three questions and continuously talked to her colleagues in what I assume is an Eastern European language. I like the cut, but the over-all experience wasn’t great. Won’t be going back.

Full head, long hair golden blonde hilites, cut, and blow dry for under $200. (A lot under $200!). My stylist, Sylvia, was excellent and all business which I appreciated, and no chatty small talk! Such a relief! The salon was busy and bustling with warm, happy people coming and going. There’s a non-nonsense casual proficiency that pervades, with a positive unassuming vibe. I’ll be back! Goodbye and good riddance to my days of $400 salons or the recent alternative: doing my own cut and color! Thank you Marysia!

Amazing prices for the quality of the work! Ive been a regular customer of Evas for many years. All the hairdressers are talented enough to handle a thick, unruly head of hair to more difficult, thinning hair, like my mothers. Which Eva did a great job on. I wont go to anyone else

This place is a joke. I brought in one reference photo for balayage and some how ended up with a full head of blonde highlights. She attempted balayge twice and the first time it looked like nothing was done on my brown hair. Even her coworkers agreed. So then she made a very dramatic change. It also took the hairdresser three separate attempts to achieve the correct length. Not sure how this was so hard to accomplish. This is NOT the destination for coloring - especially something that requires a skill set like balayage. Even a simple cut isnt well achieved. I also received no discounts on this hack job.

Booked a hair cut, but didnt know this salon doesnt include a blow out with the cut. Good cut, but no styling. What an incredible let down! Would gladly have paid more.
