Its a cute salon to go to for a quick blowout! They have several options to choose from, and my stylist executed it very nicely.

Found a place walking distance from my hotel so decided to give it a try. I didn’t make an appointment but was able to get right in. Wash then blow out, turned out great. Easy to find and get in and out.

We have been staying at the Intercontinental Barclay and have used the services of the Blo for the past three weeks on three occasions and have found them professional and competent. It is certainly easier than washing and drying your own hair at only $45 each. I would recommend this salon

DONT STEP INTO THIS PLACE, my friend schedule an appointment and a night before she had an emergency and she tried to cancel the appointment. Unfortunately, this place wants to know 24 hours in advance if you have an emergency, otherwise no refund. Ashley and Monic spoke with the manager and the owner, and they declined to refund $45 and to act as a human being. Poor place. Just to remind you, you have plenty of other salons they will treat you with more respect.

I have naturally straight hair, and opted for The Hollywood - curls and volume. It lasted about 30 minutes from leaving the salon, getting in a cab, getting to the venue for the Christmas work party. I thought to ask her to use more product as she didnt really seem to use much at all, but assumed they knew best.Friendly people, just wouldnt recommend.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with the salon as well as corporate. If I could leave 0 Stars I would.Let me preface to say there are some talented stylists but it’s not a guarantee. I asked to make a request for certain stylists but told by the manager it was impossible to make requests. I asked then if I can request a master stylist to which she also said was impossible. She said it was based upon rotation.So the last time I went was over the summer. I needed my blowout to last for two days and told the stylist this. As I said, the quality of knowledge, experience, and talent fluctuates so much I provide step-by-step instruction what needs to be done for the blowout to hold. The woman who did it (I forgot her name) was so incredibly rude and was annoyed with any direction given. It was constant push back the whole time. She kept insisting she knew what was best for my hair (which she had no idea and I’ll get to that later). No part of my experience was enjoyable or relaxing.Blowout it done and it doesn’t even make it though the night! I don’t have the time to have it fixed so all of my pictures display a flat and fallen out blowout. So much for creating beautiful memories.I wrote to corporate since I had a Blo tab and wanted a refund for the lack of quality of service. I was directed to Erica and it only got worse. She gave a fake apology and offered a free blowout. I said I was not interested in a free blowout as it wasn’t fixing the problem of my lackluster hair in my pictures and was only setting me up to have another amateur poorly do my hair. She still refused to honor me a refund. I replied to it if I can’t get my money back to honor me the ability to choose the stylist of my liking to ensure my blowouts will last. At this point she didn’t respond. I e-mailed her again and she still didn’t respond.There is a phone number in her signature so I called corporate. I asked to speak to her which the receptionist said she isn’t available. I asked when would she be in to reach her and the receptionist said, “I really don’t know when she’ll be in. She doesn’t really come in. She works from home a lot.” Wow. I’m not sure which is worse, the salon itself or corporate.It’s a total scam. They take your money to give lackluster results and poor customer service.Save your money and your time. Drybar and Bumble and Bumble are within a few blocks.

The best place to get a blow out! Friendly staff, clean and on trend salon, and of course my hair turned out perfect.

I leave in that Neibor, and desafortunality the only beauty salon more close to my home in that salon, allways the computer not work when I wants pay with my card or when I call for make appointment the girl leave my call in hold and still not call me back for finish make my appoiment, I needed call 5 times more for finish make my appointment. The more worse place I see in NYC

Made an appt for 4 bridesmaids and our bride. They took us early and gave us the best treatment.we all have varying hair lengths but all turned out beautiful and lasted all night. Recommend this blo bar to everyone I know

I had a great experience with Kharla. She gave me the option of using product in my hair when wet and dry instead of just going ahead with it, and consulted me on adjustments to get to the final result. Super-happy with my beachy waves and would definitely come back.

In and out service. How great. They have a menu and you pick your hair style. This is genius!

Do not go. Seriously, do not. Bugs in the ceiling by the wash stations, rude and unfriendly staff, didn’t listen to my requests, put no products in my hair until hairspray this the style didn’t even last the cab ride home. Go out of your way and go somewhere else. This was tried on two separate occasions and I only requested styles in their ‘book’ so you would think they would be pros!

Would not go back or recommend. Took a client there and made an appointment ahead of time. Got there early and they insisted I start early because they had other clients coming in. This meant I had to start before my client and ahead of the time booked which defeated the point of going there. After getting pressured to start I finally did and my client got there 10 minutes later which was a little awkward. We were both disappointed by the service, they didnt seem to know what they were doing as they kept pulling our hair to the point where it hurt a bit and my client asked for a bit of a wave which turned out really bad. The worst part is that no one else showed up so I was rushed for no reason. Really unprofessional on their part. Avoid going here.

Wouldn’t recommend this place . I walked in Saturday noon for a blow dry since this place was near to hotel I was staying . Started with hair wash , my hair wasn’t washed properly after shampooing and felt rushed. Taken to a blow dry station where she literally burnt my scalp and I had to go pharmacy to get medicine after my blowout. No head protectors were used before starting off . Curls lasted probably half an hour. In total horrible experience and waste of money !!!

Being nervous about it being my first time at Blo, but my girl was funny and friendly. She saw my vision and made it come to life.

I did not enjoy my time here, I didnt feel very welcome and my hair was flat after 30 minutes.

Service was not that good, quite rude actually. Hairdresser was in a hurry and not that friendly. If you can choose go somewhere else.
