I cant begin to express how incredible my experience with Dr. Mendieta was. His craftsmanship and professionalism are out of this world. He cared about my goals and vision of what I wanted, he listened to me intently. His strive for perfection is unmatched. I have always struggled with body image issues my whole life. No matter how tiny, or how big, or how toned Ive been. I have never felt good about my body, not deeply.The BBL not only added volume to specific areas it helped lean out my overall appearance. All the exercise in the world could not replace or make the body he has helped me achieve. Its the best gift. He was comforting and promised he would address any concern no matter how minute at all times under his care and throughout my process. He wanted me to be happy with my results. I had my second surgery with Dr. Mendieta and if I do say so myself am very happy I found him. My first surgery was a tummy tuck which turned out awesome. Here we are a few years later and just did a BBL with Dr. Mendieta. AMAZING job done! My husband is very satisfied with the surgery, our sexual chemistry has been through the roof. Of course I’m thrilled to do some shopping to buy and wear new clothes! It feels like everyone has been noticing my surgery and are asking about it, I proudly say it was Dr. Mendieta!

I came from NYC. I paid for a tummy tuck and lipo. I was treated like a number too. I did not see the doctor himself. In Apr 2021 I had the procedure and a negative result. I was being treated by a nurse who could not explain what was happening to my my entire from abdomen area. The advice given was coconut oil. The area was turning black and hard like a rock, very painful and on fire. When I returned home, my primary refered me to see a surgeon. I had emergency surgery in the area. I informed the doctors office and zero care.. I have been under the care of a wound care . I will need skin grafting and another plastic surgery to make the area look a bit normal. I was botched. I will never refer anyone to that facility. Im so unhappy and hate the way I look.

I’m here to thank Dr. Mendieta for an amazing BBL. I am 24 years old and weighed around 130 lbs before surgery.Dr. Mendieta was amazing from beginning to end – professional staff & doctor. I came in from out of town and the whole process was great. There wasn’t much fat on me to begin with, but Dr. Mendieta made sure to use every bit of fat I had to pour into my excellent results. It didnt hurt as bad as I thought it would, and I was off meds a few days later and doing some minor things. It was very tough sitting for some weeks after though. Appreciate ya Dr. Mendieta!

I ended up with a pouch after having 3 children via C section. Working out and eating well did nothing for me, the skin and issue remained. Having friends who had the surgery, they began recommending me to speak with Dr. Mendieta. Once meeting with Dr. Mendieta I did not even bother with my other scheduled consultations with other surgeons. Currently I am two months post op having had a BBL and tummy tuck. Ive been looking into BBL surgery for years, I was never very confident with my back side and I just didnt know how to fix it. I went to the gym, got into the best shape of my life and was still not satisfied. That is when I truly started to do my BBL research! Dr. Mendieta and his team were more than welcoming, I 100% recommend him to anyone and everyone! I wish I would’ve gone to him sooner!

About 7 years ago, I went to another country to get a lipo from an allegedly great doctor, who I had also researched and received referrals for. Instead of just doing some liposuction, he proceeded to give me an unwanted and unasked for BBL. Once the anesthesia wore off, I was horrified at the shelf profile that I now had on my butt, which from the back, it looked like 2 basketballs had been placed there.I have spent the last 7 years of my life trying to find clothes that could hide or minimize. I had stopped wearing anything fitted because of how you could see almost a 90-degree angle form a shelf whenever I walked. I finally decided that it was time to take my life back and get this fixed!I did a lot, and I mean A LOT of research and went to 6 different top surgeons in my area (Miami). I spent time looking at the pictures, reading reviews, and wanted to make sure that there was the right chemistry with the doctor, and with the staff. This was too important of a life decision not to take all those things into account. I met with Dr. Mendieta and knew that he was the one. Not only does he have a generous number of pictures with various body types and procedures, but he also had a substantial amount of BBL pictures. He gave me a generous amount of time during my consultation and let me know exactly what he could do.Anyway, the result has been a huge success for me! Dr. Mendieta revised me in a way that was still complimentary to my body type, but now, I wear my cute wrap dresses and feel voluptuous and sexy, instead of damaged. I am incredibly grateful, thank you Dr. Mendieta!!!

I pondered on having a BBL for awhile and after research decided on Dr. Mendieta weighing on his knowledge in this area. I used to have a square shape frame and carried extra weight on my stomach. I would recommend Dr. Mendieta, prepare yourself for several weeks of recovery. I will still continue and need to workout and eat right to maintain and improve my shape, but I couldn’t be more happy.

I have always wanted a BBL procedure because I had always felt that my body was not proportionate. With my body shape my clothes just did not compliment me the way I would like them to. I flew to Florida for my surgery after an online consultation with Dr. Mendieta. His assistant was professional throughout the entire process. There were no issues with making payments or contacting them. The staff always returned my calls within 24 hours and were always accommodating.I am happy with my results and the BBL procedure was worth it! My clothes fit better. I can now wear form fitting clothes that flatter me, others and fit better!I’d like to mention a few pros and cons of the BBL procedure:ProsClothes look amazing on you!You look and feel great!The whole procedure exceeded my expectations with Dr. Mendieta!Easy and quick recovery!ConsIt was real difficult sitting for two weeks.The first few days after surgery can be challenging.After the surgery give yourself a month of doing nothing strictly to recover.I had some minor nerve irritation after the liposuction, it was a tingling sensation that was to be expected and got better with time.Thank you Dr. Mendieta!

You are treated just like a number not like a true person/client. Everyone is rushed in and out. No follow up calls of them reaching out to the patient. And when the patient tries to call the questions are not answered clearly, the call is sometimes not answered. My daughter was left standing outside by HERSELF 16 hours after surgery at follow up appt. unbelievable. post op directions not clear nor followed up by staff or doctor. Not one sign of being a true caring office. surgery And procedures can be high risk....select a doctor and staff that REALLY care.

After a lot of research, I chose Dr. Mendieta for my lipo. After meeting him at the preop at first I was happy with the care and attention. I did notice that he suggested a lot more than the lipo, the jplasma, and the medication that was supposed to reduce the post Op pain by 85%. He got me all excited about the possibility of fat transfers only for me to find out that those transfers would DOUBLE the original cost. They advertise that they can do financing, but even though I had already paid 7k in cash, they expected the extra in cash right then as well. So, I had to stick with my original plan. The day of surgery(June 23 2021) is when things started going very wrong. I showed up and was told to wait in the parking lot until I was called. Someone then came to my car to get me, I walked a half a block to the surgery center only to be told to go back to my car. When I got to my car, I decided to call to be sure they knew that I was there because it was now close to an hour after my scheduled surgery time. I was told on the phone that my surgery was not scheduled until the next day! I said no way, my preop was yesterday and my surgery is today! After being on hold, they came back and said oh yeah you are right, its today. I was told again to go to the surgery center center and again told they were not ready and to go wait outside. This time, I went in to the preop center and said, Im here for surgery but they arent ready and I need to pee. Are they going to need a sample or can i go to the bathroom? I was told that they do not need a sample and I was fine to go to the bathroom. Soon after i went to the bathroom, i was finally called into surgery and the first thing they said? We need a urine sample for pregnancy test! I told them that i was told they didnt need a sample and had just peed. Besides, they did a blood pregnancy test the day before. Why did they need a urine test now? They argued until the anesthesiologist came out because of the noise. He said it was fine, I did not need a test. I explained to him my concern that they did NOT seem to have it together and I was considering canceling the entire thing because I was no longer confident in the care I would receive. He reassured me so I went through with it. I woke in extreme pain with them rushing me out the door. They said surgery was over and I had to leave. I was crying and saying how much pain I was in and they didnt care. They put me in the car and said come back tomorrow. My daughter drove me straight to Mercy Hospital where I was admitted with extreme blood loss, pain and my blood pressure was 78/42. As soon as they took my pressure garment off the ER nurse said Oh my God at the amount of blood that poured out onto the floor. I was admitted for 6 days before they let me go home. I will go to my postOp tomorrow and let Dr. Mendiatas office know exactly how I feel and that I demand a refund of the $650 they charged me for the medication that was supposed to reduce my pain by 85%!! The only reason Im giving 1 star at all is because the results are turning out good. But the care I received by the office staff and nurses was horrendous. And I have been a nurse myself for 20 years.

Hey! I’m 32 years old with no kids. As most of you are doing I had been searching all around for a doctor to do my BBL and ended up finding him. Dr. Mendieta’s work had fantastic reviews from what I saw. I had done a few consultations in the Indianapolis area that didn’t sell me. Just wanted to drop in and say I’m very pleased with Dr. Mendieta’s work. The trip to Miami was worth it. Recommended!

I had the absolute most amazing experience with Dr. Mendieta!My pain is minimal, and my results are amazing! I am one day post-op now and I have virtually zero pain. I had a BBL where I didnt have much fat to transfer, but somehow he got me great results that surpassed my expectations.Dr. Mendieta spoke with me prior to surgery where we went over everything in detail from my labs to my EKG, BMI, and the pre and post-op procedures, along with post-op expectations through a month and a half.Dr. Mendieta answered all of my questions! He was professional and perhaps handsome. Highly recommend!

Yesterday I had a BBL with Dr. Mendieta. When I arrived at the office everyone was so nice and calming, Dr. Mendieta is such a fantastic doctor! He kept coming into the pre-op room to make sure I was okay. So, I arrived and undressed waiting for them to prepare my surgical room. They put me under. Dr. Mendieta said that he removed 4 L and injected 1100 CC per butt cheek. I’m 5’2, 140-144 lbs.When I awoke from surgery the pain was bad, but only in a small area of my back. I took a few pain pills; the pain was unbearable for only 2-3 hours after surgery and then slowly faded away. I do still have pain, however it is nothing unbearable, feels more like an intense workout pain. I’m excited about my results and experience thus far, would definitely recommend Dr. Mendita and his incredible staff!

I underwent my BBL procedure with Dr. Mendieta about two weeks ago. As I arrived on the day of the procedure, even with extensive correspondence and multiple instructions I received prior to my arrival from his staff, I must confess I was rather nervous. The staff at the pre-op meeting were extremely courteous and professional and helped ease some of the anxiety I was feeling.When I met Dr. Mendieta in person I was extremely comfortable with him and the procedure, and delightfully surprised that he suggested the most appropriate way to shape my body - in a way that was both proportional and enhancing to my figure. Dr. Mendieta went through the procedure in detail and addressed every part of my body in detail as to what was expected to be achieved in the procedure. He is kind and articulate in regard to his desire to please and surpass expectations while focusing on safety and long-term well-being of his patient. He focuses on his patient’s, not the services he sells.Regarding the results, it has been two weeks since procedure. The after-surgery effect on my body was definitively milder than my previous experiences. The staff at Dr. Mendieta, both in terms of instructions and actual post-op care; massages, general care, post-op diet, are top of the line. The results are perfect and completely in line with what was discussed prior to the surgery.I highly recommend Dr. Mendieta, his nurses, and team which include his very attentive and caring anesthesiologist. I wish everyone else in his line of work would measure up to his ethics and professionality. 5 STARS!!!!! Thank you for everything Dr. Mendieta and staff!!!

Sharing my personal experience with dr Mendieta! I had surgery Feb 3rd 2021 it is now Feb 12th and I’m still admitted In the hospital.Dr Mendieta released me after sx without a faja, my hemo dropped from 13 to 8. His nurse practitioner acted like 8 is no biggie yet everyone at the hospital was in shocked how I lost about 5 litters Of blood in an instant & got sent home in that condition. I got admitted to the ER that same night because I was bleeding so much and felt dehydrated and weak. I don’t even remember going home from Mendieta’s clinic. I told my recovery house to take me to the ER because I’ve had a bbl before and this was 1000xs different! I got to the ER & got a blood transfusion that same day and I’m wondering why Mendieta couldn’t give me one since I lost so much blood & I signed a consent form for a transfusion before having surgery.Anywho 2 days later I got released and 2 days after I find myself again in the hospital due to having a fever! Turns out a I have an infection, my heart rate is so dangerous high and so is my blood pressure and my hemo went down to 6! I got another blood transfusion and I’m still admitted.Ladies I saw and heard all the bad reviews but still trusted him but please I’m WARNING you of all these things happening to me! He hasn’t even had the audacity to call me or see how I’m doing. HE doesn’t care about his patients at all! I did make a stop at his office after my first release from the hospital to his office but he sent his nurse practitioner to talk to me but I never saw his face. Beware!!!!*edit* today I found out why I still keep getting fevers, it turns out dr Mendieta hit a small vessel but the doctor said I didn’t die because it was a small vessel and because I’m young. This is the most scariest thing ever in my life. On top of the horrible experience he did nothing we went over at pre-op NOTHING!!

Nothing recommended, a horrible service, the valer parking staff is the one who assures you check in and you wait for hours in the car one day after the surgery, they do not check your temperature or even your pressure, this doctor does not care about your health less as you do You feel I am very sorry to see me operated on with this doctor because he treats as if you were an animal he is a disgusting doctor and the staff who have maybe very badly paid because they behave very badly
