My visit to Simon Med was done for walk-in X-ray. The lady at the counter was not very pleasant when I first arrived but she was probably busy although there were only 2 people in the lobby.Once I finished the paperwork, they got me in for the X-ray very quick.The gentleman that did the X-ray was very pleasant and did the pictures very fast.Overall it was a good visit and I would recommend them to others. However, I would also tell people to give the lady at check-in a break.

Young lady at front desk rude and super mean to the elderly. When I got here she was in a personal phone call talking about very detailed personal stuff.. (not professional)! I waited over an hour even though I had an appointment so I was able to watch as several people came through the front desk. What makes it worse is the owners of this place don’t do anything about it. There are plenty of reviews to show this is a common theme. I may get a thank you for posting a review but frond desk girl is still there mid treating people. Especially not good to treat our elderly with no patients.

When I called fir an appointment the scheduler was very accommodating, even verified they did x-rays there.Upon arrival I was safely checked in & didnt have to over-wait.Dr. Sarah was so pleasant, great listening skills &completely put my mind at rest with diagnosis.Not only, this but called today for follow-up!

Be prepared for a not so warm welcome from the front desk (at least the one I dealt with). She was a little short, and seemed inconvenienced by anyone she encountered. The place wasnt busy, however, compared to most imaging facilities, my appt was on a Monday afternoon at 2pm. The techs were great, helpful, courteous, quick, and friendly.

Great experience! The lovely young lady at the desk was wonderful even before arriving - she called to fit me in earlier and was super professional over the phone and in person. She had everything ready as this was a last minute appointment. My technician (I believe his name was Keith) was fantastic- made me feel very welcome. Facilities were clean and the whole process was easy.

We had an appointment. I filled out all the paperwork online for faster service. We checked into the office 15 minutes early. We were still waiting an hour after our appointment. Also, they let another patient go before us, even though their appointment was after ours, they arrived to the office after us, and filled out all forms ect more than 20 minutes after us. Not cool. The x-ray machine was down, so the office wasnt busy at all. There is no reason for our lack of service.

Had to get an MRI done due to a car accident. Just time I attempted the scans even though I informed everyone I am incredibly claustrophobic, I was unable to complete the full order. They rescheduled me with my dr get there just to wait over an hour to be informed they don’t have the equipment to do the testing I needed done.Simon Med then scheduled me for the next day at another location and confirmed I was good to go. Show up just to have the same thing happen all while I’m kids are home by themselves because they were 7pm appointments.I’ll never go back to Simon med. they literally don’t care for their patients and lack humanity.

The staff is professional and courteous. However, their website allowed for appointments for x-rays even specifying what type of x-ray is being taken. Then when you come in no x-ray appointmentsTelling people an hour+ wait. (Mine was about 40 min)In the time of COVID, especially when people are getting chest x-rays, possibly with COVID.. You would think they would have appointments and not let the waiting room fill up with people.Its frustrating and disappointing. Do better Simon Med

NOT a positive experience was sent here from another location as their MRI machine was down and they had no X-ray technician Was suppose to be put ahead of the line as I had to go to Tempe after X-ray to get MRI.Waited over 2 hours only brought back as I told staff I was going to miss my MRI apt in Tempe office Need a better system waits are horrible. They may very well be a good imaging place overall, but my experience was very disappointing. After giving my insurance information and setting up an appointment and being assured that everything was cool with my insurance, I got there only to find out they dont take my insurance and I could only pay out of pocket which would have been expensive without my insurance, I think what Im saying here is their biggest problem is lack of communication and attention to detail when talking to people on the phone.

My time at Simon Med was great. They took time to make sure that it was safe for me to do the test and checked with my surgeon even when I was petty sure there would not be any problems. They were very professional in all they did. I would recommend them to anyone who needed a MRI.

Absolutely terrible experience...i went to walk in at SM Apache Junction, 1 hour wait and they told me I couldnt leave... came back at 415 and refused to x ray, they said come back at 830 in morning, returned at 830 and 2 hour wait and i cant leave, asked for office manager, non available, called SM and they set appointment for x ray in mesa... hour later got a call from reception and told me there was no tech and cancelled appointment, no office manager.Im unable to be vaccinated for covid19 and dont want to sit in filled waiting room.Terrible experience for such simple procedure!

Dont know why you cant make an appointment for x-rays it has to be walk in only which could be an hour or longer because you have to wait I guess for the other imaging to be done. The x-ray technician I believe his name was Keith was very knowledgeable very good at his job he worked past hours and I enjoyed him he made the visit very very pleasant.

I called the appointment line immediately after seeing my PCP, to schedule an MRI, on a Tuesday. The lady who took my call was very nice and when I told her my insurance administrator was Ameriben she told me that she would have to allow time for pre-certification and she made the appointment for the following Friday. She asked me if I had the doctors referral, which I did, she asked me to present it to the receptionist at the clinic.Late in the afternoon on the day before the appointment, I received a call from a Simon Medical rep telling me that insurance had not sent approval for the procedure and I would have to reschedule. I asked to keep the appointment and I would pay out-of-pocket. Then I asked the Benefits Manager at my company HR department to check with Ameriben to see why they didnt approve. It turns out that Ameriben never received a pre-cert request from Simon Med.When I showed up for the MRI appointment I handed the doctors referral to the receptionist and asked her to find out why the pre-cert was never submitted. She checked with the authorization person at Simon Med and was told that the pre-cert was never sent because my doctor did not send an order. Thats crazy because I was told to hand carry the order.Keith, the tech running the MRI machine was very nice but Im very aggravated that I had to shell out $300 for no reason. Not likely that Ill use Simon Med again.

No notification that its down and the patients are not notified. Went back after waiting for 2 hrs the next day and its still not working.

I’d give this experience negative stars if I could. Even though my preferred name was on file they continuously deadnamed me. So it was bad from the start. I cannot speak, and so not having my phone left me unable to communicate because no one knew any sign language and couldn’t bother to offer pen and paper to communicate with so essentially I was silenced. That wasn’t the only ableism that’s was faced during this visit. I’ve also gotten the flu from this location which I’m not entirely certain isn’t covid. I could have gotten covid when the tech put a dirty towel over my face after I shook my head no. I could have gotten covid from the dirty earplugs the tech put in my ears himself after i turned them down. He did not use sanitizer or wash his hands between patients. And he was very touchy. The biggest risk was after my mask was taken off my face. I was not provided a replacement mask even though I was in an uncleaned space where patient after patient was shoved into the same breathing speace without a mask. After the tech took my mask off my face he touched all over both sides. He did the same with my glasses. I tried to sanitize them but obviously that wasn’t enough. He also didn’t bother lowering the table or helping me on or off the mri table. I cannot use my legs. He grabbed my legs even though I was fully capable of that part, not to mention that’s incredibly rude and inappropriate and not helpful in any way. There was no need for the tech to touch my stuff and especially to not take it off my face. That wasn’t even all of the ableism I faced from this tech but this is already long enough. If you want to protect your health do not go to this location. I’ve been abused at one of their other locations though too so maybe best to never go to a Simonmed ever again if you value your safety.

I was told to arrive at 4pm for a 430 appointment. I arrived at 345. The person running the front desk came across as rude and abrupt, as if me signing in to be seen was a bother to her. At this time nothing was told to me of any delay. After waiting until after 5 and still not being called back, I asked the same lady who checked me in about how my remaining wait time. Her response, “ Yea, we are running behind today.” I told her I had already been waiting for an hour and fifteen minutes and that my appointment time had come and gone. She said, “Like I said we are backed up today. It’s going to be awhile.”I took my daughter out of school early to ensure I made it to my appointment on time. I arrived early to complete the necessary paperwork. A simple phone call before I drove an hour to this appointment would have been very helpful. Any communication regarding the extensive delay would have been helpful. Had I shown up an hour and a half late for my appointment, I have no doubt they would have made me reschedule.I would recommend finding another facility for your imaging needs. One that respects your time as a patient. Having me sit in pain with crutches, while having a torn ACL & MCL and then not communicating is rude and unacceptable.ETA: it’s 530 now. They are closed. It’s one hour passed my appointment time and one hour and 45 minutes waiting and still haven’t been seen.ETA: it’s now after 6pm. I broke down crying from pain and frustration and asked the receptionist again how soon. In her compassionate free, no sympathy whatsoever voice she told me hopefully in the next 15 minutes. Never once apologized. Never once asked if I need anything. Just let me cry. No sense of urgency. Nothing. I will be filing an official report. And I have NEVER done that before in my life. Completely unacceptable. Shame on you Simon Med

I went to Simon on Southern Ave in Mesa after my doctor ordered two MRI’s on my knees. When I arrived at the office the receptionist entered my info and said that they were doing my right knee. I told her that it was incorrect. She looked again and said SOMEBODY messed up and only inputted the right knee. She told me I would have to call scheduling to schedule my left knee. I disagreed and said I would reschedule both knees, which I did for several days later.I arrived again for my tests and the same assistant took my id and credit card and said I owed so much money. When I got the receipt it only indicated my payment, not the detail. I asked her if I could get a detailed receipt showing their charges, insurance payments, and discounts and my costs. She told me she was not allowed to give that out and I would have to call accounting.Although the tests were fine I was irritated that the assistant played pass the problem with me: She could have rescheduled for me and gotten the detailed receipt sent. I will not go back to that office.

The front receptionist lady was rude and unprofessional she would notTake my paperwork unless I put it under the plexiglass window that was only a 10 in hole and whole thing was 2 feet wide on a 12 foot wide desk she just held her hand there until I gave it to her instead of around the plexiglass just trying to be nice so she didn’t have to stand up happened twice. As I see on previous comments she definitely needs a job elsewhere without customer service. the mri tech was an awesome guy I give him 5 star review but the front receptionist a 1.

I made an in person appointment for an MRI. I was given all the paperwork to take home and fill out. You are asked to check in 15 minutes early which I did with all my paperwork filled out. There was one other person in the waiting room when I arrived. Another person walked in 35 minutes after my arrival. He was taken back before me or the other woman that was waiting. Then others arrived and were taken back. After my first hour of waiting I asked the woman at the front desk when I would be seen for my appointment. She said I was next. But still others went before me. 1 hour and 10 minutes to get called back. The technicians are great in every way. But scheduling is very poor. What is the point of making an appointment to wait over and hour?! Im sure by now the staff knows how long an MRI takes and should inform the desk to schedule appropriately. I would have given those who actually did the MRI five stars but the front desk deserves one star.

The technician was wonderful and very professional. However, the rest of the experience was terrible...and unfortunately this is the norm. MRIs are a big money maker for Simon Med and thus they overlap appointments. Then you have someone who moves during an MRI and that appointment runs late. This results in long waits, past the appointment time made by the patient. In addition, they ask you to come to the appointment 15 minutes early to fill out minimal paperwork. At my last appointment I arrived at 3:10 p.m. and I left the facility at 5:00 p.m. In summary, Simon Med values its time but not that of its clients. When I asked the receptionist for a corporate number to provide feedback, she gave me the scheduling number. I asked if she could please call it while I was getting my MRI...she said no. The technician heard this and he found a number and gave it to me after my MRI. He was focused on customer service...the receptionist (Mikala) was not. I will ask my physicians to send orders to EVDI in the future because this is the norm for Simon Med.

Getting my appointment was a nightmare. I got put into a que to get the appointment and I got to 2nd in line and sat there for about 2 hours before someone called me. During that time I called my doctors assistant and voiced my displeasure at the system SimonMed uses in a voice-mail. I then got a call from the scheduler my doctor recommended I call the first day who got me an appointment all while I was still waiting in the que.The day of the appointment I was told to be there at 8:15am to fill out paperwork before my scheduled 8:30am MRI. As I am claustrophobic, I took the prescribed Valium at 8am- the 1/2 hour before the procedure. The doors didnt open until 8:25am and my 8:30am appointment start at 9:02 am. I am giving 3 stars because the tech, Keith, was extremely kind and helpful during the procedure and put me at ease.

I arrived 15 min early for my daughter’s appointment. As part of the check in process, front desk staff violated my HIPPA rights by verbally asking me if I had had either dose of the COVID vaccine right in the waiting room in front of other waiting patients. That is NOT ok! Exercise your right to privacy with your health history, and do not respond to this question if asked by the front desk staff- or any other person you do not want to share this information with. It is NOT ok for them to routinely ask this question as part of their screening for COVID. It is a violation of privacy.Then, we proceeded to wait 45 minutes for our appointment in the front waiting room and an additional 15 minutes in the back waiting room. For a procedure that takes 18 minutes, we were there for two full hours. Needless to say, I was extremely unhappy with my visit.

All the reviews are accurate Mikayla Novak was rude to every patient that walked through the door and obviously doesn’t like her job. I’m not one to leave reviews but seeing a crippling old man be talked to like a child is upsetting. She’s condescending, and should not work at the front desk. My appt didn’t get seen until 2hrs+ after my appt time, I’m dealing with a herniated disk and they make you sit in the lobby in a chair with absolutely no sympathy. If corporate sees this review, do yourself a favor and have Mikayla Novak change rolls.

X-ray are walk ins only. This place books appointments for other things too. I was only going to get an x-ray. It took nearly 2 hours to get this done. They cleared all their appointments before it was my turn. My x-ray was some time after 5pm, after they closed 5. So they went through all appointments before picking the walk in that takes 3 minutes to get the x-ray done. Lower back pain, sitting in that waiting chair... The receptionist Mikayla was very short tempered and unhelpful. I wanted to know why I hadn’t been called in to take my X-ray after waiting 30 mins and she said it was my insurance putting her on hold. Which I totally understand, but then I asked if it would take much longer after they picked up and she seemed annoyed and said it would be “as long as it takes”. I don’t except butterflies and rainbows or an over the top attitude, but it’s not ok to be rude even if you may be having a bad day or whatever your reason is. I waited another 20 mins before she gave me the option of being able to do a $45 soft hold so I could at least just get my X-ray done. So I just ended up paying it. Poor customer service and I hope they have or hire people that are little more kind. We don’t want to be there either, but at least you’re getting paid. The X-ray tech was nice though.

Overall it was a good experience. Scheduling was very easy after a couple of hiccups. They didnt know who I was assigned to but once that was ironed out, they were very helpful. The technician was very personable and explained what was going to happen and made me very comfortable. I just have caught the front desk person on a bad day. She was, to say the least, very brusk and wasnt the front facing person that I would like to be the first contact my clients encountered.

I have used them before, service the same. The xray tech deserves 8 stars. He was efficient, personable and very quick. The check in lady was efficient, but slow and not very friendly. She did her job well, but acted like she didnt want to be there and didnt want to help. I saw other folks, mostly older with health issues, while waiting. They had minor issues with paperwork or other things. I did not see her try to help or assist them. Just sat behind plexiglass typing.Tech 8 stars, checkin lady 3 stars.

My doctor sent Simon Med the order for my MRI, but I had not heard anything. I called them and got an appointment that very same afternoon. I arrived early but they helped me right away with the paperwork and I was in the MRI room in only 10 minutes. This imaging center and its employees is horrible. My wife was there to get a simple x-ray. They waited in an empty waiting room for 2 1/2 hrs. The girls behind the counter were rude and would rather talk about what they were gonna do for Labor day weekend than doing the job they are paid to do. If you have to get images done. Go to Banner Imaging on Broadway near 63rd ST. The staff there will treat you professionally instead of acting like you dont matter.

I came into get an x-ray for my chest but instead got told I couldnt because the receptionist didnt see my paper work as complete when they send everything from the doctor electronically she didnt even bother to type my name in or anything

Clean and effecicient facilities!Caring and kind staff.I was very surprised after going to another facility that was not clean or effecicient and had a rude staff.This office has it all together. I would go there again and again. I was treated very well and with respect.Thank you for your quality service.

Gary was great to work with. Made me feel comfortable. Good experience although I can understand how people who are claustrophobic would be uncomfortable. I just hummed Jimmy Buffet songs in my head and I was fine

The wait was twice as long as represented when I made my appointment. I could not drive myself so the delay in getting into my test put others in uncomfortable positions and added stress due to me being later than expected.
