Typically SMIL has been a wonderful experience for me. Very short waits!! Last week I went in for a Mammo and the technician had no sense of emotion. She was very robotic like!! When she did my exam, it was the most painful experience I ever had. Never had I felt pain as I did that day with any mammogram in the past. When I explained to her that she was hurting me, she gave no response. Never AGAIN!!

This was my first visit to a SMIL location. I scheduled my appointment online for my x-rays which was nice. Everywhere else you are told x-rays are on a walk-in basis. Having an appointment I did not have to sit and wait the sometimes over 1 hour. I arrived, they greeted me and checked me in. Within a few minutes I was called back. I was walking out with pictures completed within 15 minutes from arriving. It was a fantastic experience. I will not go anywhere else again. I am 100% a new patient of SMIL. Thank you!

I have had to go for three scans unfortunately this year and SMIL has made the process as good as it could be. Scheduling was easy, the office staff was great and the facilities (Mesa and Gilbert) were exceptionally clean and well kept. Fantastic place if you have to get any scans done!

This SMIL location is excellent. The entire office is exceptionally clean. The staff are all very friendly and do an excellent job making you feel at ease. I would highly recommend this SMIL location!

In and out in less than a half hour for my mammogram. The staff was very caring and answered all my questions. They got back with me by text with my results within an hour. Couldnt ask for better! ☺

The building is lovely and spa-like, making you feel cared for and special. My medical professional, Katie, was awesome; very upbeat and efficient. My experience was great.

The team here is always very professional and friendly. I always ask for any imaging orders to be sent to SMIL. Ive had nothing but great experiences with their staff. Especially when getting things like an MRI (I am extremely claustrophobic) the tech and nurse were incredible during the entire process.

I called to make an appointment and after navigating the automated menu system was informed by a recording that me estimated wait time was 30 minutes. To make an appointment? Im gone!

I am not pleased with this place. I do not appreciate them wasting my time. I arrived on time for my 1 oclock appointment and was told they will try to work me in. I mentioned that I am a few minutes early for my appointment so not sure why I need to be fit in. Was told some nonsense reason that I cant remember...just remember that it made no sense. I do not appreciate having to wait after making the effort to get to the appointment ON TIME!!!!! My suggestion is that SMIL needs to set appointments for the actual time that someone needs to be there. You scheduled me for 1. I arrived minutes prior to 1 and you claimed you needed to find time for me on your schedule. Maybe you should have scheduled me for 12:45??? I am not pleased. This did not have to happen this way. You did not have to waste my time by making me wait for an opening on your schedule even though I arrat my scheduled time.

Yesterday I went in for a contrast MRI. I got VERY ill after the second bottle. The entire office appeared out of nowhere when I yelled for help as I started being ill in the dressing room. They not only took care of me, called my husband and then let me go home in a clean gown because I had been sick on the other one. This location was a 45 min drive from my home but I am so glad that we were at THIS location when this happened. Truly an amazing staff and in my opinion the best SMIL in the area! Quick professional service!

My experience with SMIL was exceptional. My doctor had ordered a stat exam and I was able to get in that morning. The front desk girls was so nice and eased my anxiety, the person that did my exam was very professional and attentive to my concerns. Results were back to my doctor the same day. I have been to different locations but Mesa will be my go to site from now on

Mixed reviews on this.Cons:The front desk ladies are not very friendly. There was a new lady and they were not very nice to her even. I got a call about going to collections for my bill before I ever got a bill from them. I called and the lady on the phone and she said she was mailing the bill out. I had to ask her to verify the address, she did not offer. She sis say this has been a problem for her all day. People upset with voicemail sent out. She was far from friendly. Still no bill.Pros: the nurse and the doctor I had were very compassionate and explained everything to me without feeling rushed.

Just had my annual mammogram and I was extremely pleased with the professionalism and courtesy of the entire staff. The front desk girl Amanda greeted me with a smile and was very sweet and the techs who did my mammogram was very pleasant and respectful. I highly recommend this office

I have not been to a SMIL Southwest Medical Imaging until January 2020. I was checking this facility on line prior to my CT. I saw that it did not have a lot of stars or great reviews.I get nervous when I read negative reviews. However, I have learned that people can write bad reviews for reasons other than poor care or service, or mean people. Some write them for the benefit of competitors, because of something they did themselves, not paying a bill, didn’t arrive on time, or they did not follow instructions.When I arrived in at SMIL Imaging, the person checking me in was nice. The staff member Laura, called me back and drew blood, placed an intravenous line for contrast media. She was awesome, as I have bad veins that roll and collapse. She was reassuring, kind, and knew her job.Danielle the CT technician was helpful and kind. She explained things well and checked on me often.

They are the best place to get imaging done. I think this is about my 4th or 5th time and it has always been a very positive experience. Little to no waiting time and very friendly and compassionate employees and techs.

Absolutely the worst do not recommend. If you are a minute late they will not see you. If I could rate them a 0 I would.

It was a very comfortable experience, considering it was an MRI! I took an evening appointment so I didnt have to wait very long and I was treated very well. And the big bore chamber made a huge difference in my comfort level.

I highly recommend this office to anyone needing imaging. I was pleased with the staff from the front office to the techs, well as the fast service I recieved.

I had 3 MRIs in a row and the staff was very helpful and professional... it was a pleasant.experience and I would recommend this branch..

Beautiful office. But the two ladies upfront Vanessa and other lady...have the bed side manner of a pair of miserable people. Unpleasant to say the least. I complimented how pretty the office was and the lady glanced at me...and looked away. Then proceeded to say maam we arnt the doctors so your copay is $75 ....i didnt even ask.

The staff has gone far and above the normal duties for us than you would normally expect from a clinic. So 6 stars out of 5 for the staff at SMIL McDowell location anyways.
