Brought my newest baby to them today and WOW!! I am so impressed with their talent! Ive gone other places in the past, but none even comes close to these groomers...seriously. Exactly what I asked for, very detailed around the face, fur is so soft and he smells so good!! Plus the cute little bandana as an added touch! Ive brought 2 other dogs to them (that are no longer with me) in the past, and always been very satisfied. I will never bring my babies anywhere else! They really are the best ❤🐕

This vet was amazing in our time of need. That time that no one wants to ever come for their furry friend came for ours! They got us in quickly and were patient with us. Even allowed our children to be there as we said goodbye to our girl! Brought her in one final treat that she actually ate. Peanut butter!!! Staff was amazing! Prices were also the best I could find in the area!

The staff at Signal Butte animal hospital is professional, courteous and very caring. Dr. Olsen and Dr. Garner are two of the the best Vets I have ever met and have cared for my Boston Terrier brothers. They are extremely caring and compassionate, professional, and very knowledgeable. I would recommend them to anyone who needs care for their pet.

Every single staff member I spoke to was professional, friendly and helpful. They took the best care if my lil boy Finn while he was very sick. I couldnt have asked for a better team of professionals to save my pup. And they did.

We have been very happy with the care our dog received here. The staff is caring and compassionate. As we faced end-of-life decisions recently, Dr Olson was amazing. She went above and beyond in calling twice to talk about what was going on so I didn’t have to stress our dog with another office visit. Her advice and responses to our questions were so helpful and wise and the level of care and expertise she showed was of the highest caliber. She has always been my favorite among the staff anyways, but all the vets we’ve seen were great.

Dr. Graham is an awesome doctor. Totally trust our animals with him. We have seen the other vets in the office and had great experiences. This place is honest, dont do unnecessary testing and procedures.

The veterinary medical care here is certainly very good in quality. However, I am giving this clinic a 3-star for a few important reasons. When it comes to customer care and communication, you feel that this is a larger clinic and certainly a different experience from smaller clinics with maybe 1 veterinarian. Some of this clinics staff members are very helpful and knowledgeable, but some are not. Our Italian Greyhound got neutered at this clinic, and has had a few basic check-up appointments. Again, the vet medical care is good, but the vet and vet tech communication, and overall customer experience is hit or miss. You feel like you and your animal are just a number.

We love Signal butte animal hospital. They are all so friendly there and help with all your needs. We us them as a vet and groomer. We highly recommend them!

Lousy service. I told myself I would wait a few days and calm down after the events of last week. Have you ever been coughing enough to dry heave? Did it hurt to cough that hard? I called them around 6pm on a friday and they answered! I explained my dog had developed a very bad cough and could I bring him down. Sure, we close at 7, you might have to wait to see the doctor since you dont have an appointment Given the condition of my dog, I thought that fair. When I arrived, the tech checked the dog and explained to me that since he wasnt in immediate life threatening distress that they were closing in 20 min and the staff was going home. I was invited to come back the following morning and would be given a priority morning appointment. Meanwhile, my dog was coughing hard enough to dry heave - while we were in the lobby. I asked if he could have something for the cough so that he could rest overnight and the tech went back inside, and upon her return informed me that the vet (who was still there) wouldnt prescribe anything without an exam. I was given a couple phone number for emergency pet hospitals and sent home. If they had told me they couldnt get us in when I was on the phone, I wouldnt have had an issue, but to tell me to come down and then not take care of an animal who was coughing hard enough to dry heave, in their lobby, because the day was nearly over, was infuriating. I drove straight to the emergency care they recommended. Even though emergency care was at capacity, they took him in and the vet saw him later that night.

Dr Olsen and the entire staff are so friendly, and made me feel very comfortable. My little Baylee was terrified and Dr Olsen’s soothing voice calmed her down. We were there for a wellness check, and I am very satisfied with her exam. Should Baylee need medical care in the future, it’s comforting to know I have a wonderful vet to care for her.

I have so many compliments that I truly dont know where to begin. First the staff that answers your phone and our questions are so professional and calming. Your actual office location is beautiful and clean. Your veterinarians are awesome! Also receiving a text asking how my Bella was feeling after her appointment was a nice surprise. I am so happy that my furbabies are now with you because it gives me peace of mind!

Our little dude whos almost 10 yo had an issue with his bum and were worried we needed to take him the ER to be looked at. Our normal vet was booked 2 weeks out and as an animal lover and parent we all care more about our little guys/girls more than ourselves and want the best for them. We wanted to get him in as soon as we could. I called Signal Butte Animal Hospital and I spoke with Katie at 11:00 am, after calling multiple vets without being able to see us for over a week. Katie told me that I could call the next morning to see if we could get our lil dude in for an exam and treatment. I received a call from Katie an hour after and she said we could get in same day in an hour.Dr. Olson and Ariana took such great care of us and were so professional, took the time to talk to Maverick calm him down a bit as we all know most doggies dont like going to the vet or groomers. Dr. Olson and Ariana were so phenomenal and took such inherent care of not only myself with worries and questions but, more importantly our little guy and now hes on the way to getting better.Our little dude now has a new office and Dr. after our experience today. So many kudos to Dr. Olson, Katie and Ariana and the staff for everything today! You all make our lives better.I have to make an edit to this review. This morning I received a text message from Sarah in the office following up on Maverick seeing how he was doing. He is doing SO much better thanks to Dr. Olson and Ariana from our visit a day ago. This kind of follow up, compassion and overall caring is far above and beyond expectations! Our experience was so great!

They were very helpful accommodating my needs as I don’t have a lot of money and my poor baby has inflammation with her liver and pancreas which is costly!! They put us on a payment plan and have been very helpful with questions. I definitely recommend this place.

At a time when my cat of 14 years was sick, I was hesitant to search out a new veterinary clinic. The one I always went to was no longer ran by the same people it had been, and I knew it was time to find anew doctor for my fur babies. Baxter is a special cat. He is possibly the most loving one I have ever had, and I have had cats all my life. My initial call was answered by Cheryl, who treated me so well and compassionately, I was pretty much hooked right then. The appointment the next day was just as satisfying, with everyone as wonderful and caring as could be. Just knowing how much the staff cared was calming, making me feel much more confident. I know I will be back with Baxter, if needed, as well as his brother and sister, and my dog. They are family. We were treated like family. That is the way it should be, and this staff nailed it. I am so relieved to have found the place, the right place, for my family to be cared for.

Very professional and friendly staff. I am able to make appointments easily and quickly. I have never had to wait more than 5-10 minutes after I arrive for the appointment. They have given my dog and cat very good care and I trust them with my pets.

I already referred 2 people. I know one is calling as his dog got the kennel cough too. You guys were great. A little shaking on the check in. Our little Pom (Bunny) had been vomiting (with blood in it) and also extremely bloody diarrhea. 2 trips to the ER fixed nothing & no answers. Got in to see Dr. Graham and he figured out her issue and w/o a slew of expensive tests! We are so grateful!

Dr. Olsen was sweet so was her assistant. 1 of my dogs is nervous and shy the assistant noticed that and spent a lot of time making friends with her. Great vet

This supposed to be a egg over easy. The yolk is hard not runny at all. The white on the egg is definitely over cooked. I go there to give them another chance. Wont do that again. Hire a decent cook for once...

Staff is very friendly and patient. Our favorite doctor is Dr. Graham. Dr. Olsen is also a very friendly vet and our pup loves them both. They are also much more affordable than similar vets in the area. Ill always bring my pets here.

They killed my PTSD therapy dog! If they are going to dispense medication to people they have a duty and an obligation to educate the owners on said medication and the side effects it could have on the animal. Not to mention they should be well informed themselves on the things that can go wrong and tell the owners what to look for. Any veterinarian dispensing prednisone to anyone should warn the owner that it can cause transient diabetes and inform them of what to look for and to bring them in immediately if said symptoms occur. My dog went in with a simple ear infection and was dead within a week. He was my everything, my world and now hes gone. Im so totally heartbroken. If I couldve left zero stars I wouldve.

Oh my gosh! Dr. Graham and his team are so amazing! I’m so so happy that I brought my pup Koda here! He needed immediate attention and they were able to get us in same day AND perform a last minute surgery which was so needed. They were so accommodating and professional and kept me updated throughout the whole process and even after.I’ve already told all my local friends + family how impressed I am of this place and will definitely recommend to more people.Thank you guys so much for helping my baby feel better again!!

Dr. Graham and the rest of the staff have always been kind to us. ❤️ They helped 2 of our doggies cross over peacefully and they were very compassionate and respectful. The facility is very clean and tidy.

Have taken two of my cats here. Their no credit check, 0 interest payment plan has literally saved my cats life. Not only am I incredibly grateful for their payment plan options, but they also provide excellent service. You can tell they really care about the animals here.

Went here yesterday for the first time to go with sister taking Echo for shots and a check up. Staff was wonderful and the doctor was outstanding with him and very informative with ways to help Echo. I am very happy being able to see one veterinarian who can observe the changes (or lack thereof) in my pets condition over time, as compared to other more commercial vet offices. Dr. Garner seems caring and thorough in her approach. She called me in the evening and answered my questions and listened to my concerns. Dr. Green, who completed an ultrasound on my pet, called me and made sure I understood the results of the test and what my options were regarding next steps. My cat is not cured, but I do feel like I have options and team who is interested in helping me.

I called at 9:30am needing to have my cat put to sleep. They had me an appointment for 10:30am, just an hour later. The professionalism and heartfelt empathy shown by the entire staff was incredible.

Hayden was incredible. He made me and girlfriend feel so welcome. And even though we weren’t allowed in because of Covid we felt like we were because they were so fast to update us. We received 3 calls while he was inside just informing us along the way. Our dog is usually very shy and we’re worried he wouldn’t get along but they got him to open up ridiculously fast. She ran a few tests on my dog and of course we racked up a large bill, but they were able to set up a payment plan that was perfect for our family. We also had our pup groomed and Ashley was amazing! Chloe had an accident as a puppy, before her very first real grooming. Her hair was so matted, after her eye finally healed and was finally able to get a bath, she needed to be sedated for her first hair cut. Signal butte took such great care of her, she always gets great complements of how great she does when she gets groomed and she always comes home looking and smelling wonderful :) Definately recommend fam/friends here and will continue taking Chloe here for her TLC.

My Pomeranian got kennel cough and her regular clinic refused to book a same day appointment unless I was wanting to pay and extra $20 dollars. I called Signal Butte Animal Hospital and they were able to see her right away. They were knowledgeable and she was feeling better within days of starting her treatment. I am so happy to have stumbled upon this clinic and Sadie plans to be a loyal patient due to the wonderful care she received.

My dog had to be put down due to unshakable Valley Fever. She had it six years and was going on 15 years old. Dr Deanna Olson was very understanding and professional making a tough situation bearable. I highly recommend her.

One star is still a bit to much for employing staff like Diane that fails to understand pets are family members too! When a pet is sick or needs medical attention no one wants to be told they cant been seen for one month! That is no different than a sick child! Its a shame the owner doesnt see the need for additional staffing if they are one month booked out for emergencies... How would you expect to receive lovely reviews, referrals or stay in business? Please do yourself a favor a find a place that will care for your pet as you would because I wouldnt trust how they treat your animal after you leave based on how they treat the pets owners on the phone.

Our first visit here was unfortunately the visit us pet owners all dread, but the staff was more than compassionate. They were able to see us the same day we decided it was our dog’s time, and were able to provide us with a very flexible payment plan. I’m so grateful for them and highly recommend them.

First off, Melissa (Vet Tech) was so amazing with Diego (my old timer fur buddy), she has the sweetest disposition, and genuinely cares. Dr. Olsen is extremely knowledgeable and also shares the caring nature of Melissa, as well as a wonderful bedside manner, and Diego can be a grumpy Old Timer, but he was comfortable with both of them. Also, they work with you if you cant shell out hundreds of dollars, they have a payment plan and will work with you. I called around to several animal clinics, and they all seemed to be concerned with money, first call to Signal Butte was completely different, they really care about animals and you as well. I strongly recommend them, I cannot thank them enough. Oh, and Diego is doing well, if you were wondering :-)

Signal Butte Animal Hospital is amazing. More importantly and specifically - Dr. Graham. I have 4 special needs fur babies and he is hands down the best vet I have ever had. He has treated each one of my babies with the care I feel hed give his own while also staying in complete open communication the entire time, even when its tough. I could not ask for more. I trust him, and this hospital.

I will NOT be returning to this business. Never in a million years will I go back to this place. Ive never been treated with such disrespect in my entire life. Diane was rude and didnt even seem to care about my dog. Even though that IS her whole job. I was sent away with zero help and a dog who was very clearly sick... not to mention the bad attitude I received from the staff. Will never return! And I will be spreading the word that this place is HORRIBLE!!!

Ive had to edit my review.Outside of the first year of visits and grooming the quality of service has sharply decreased. We went from 5 stars down to 2 stars based on our past two experiences with both the grooming and scheduling of visits. Theyve taken on too many patients and now takes forever to schedule any simple appointment.

I have been there 2x. The first visit was better that 2nd time. I am used to my dogs getting their shots in front of me. I have 2 rescues and they had a hard life before me. The first visit they agreed to do in front of me. The second time they said they would do but when I got there they didn’t do. I also took a stool specimen in for one of my dogs and gave to front desk and said it was a stool specimen. She threw away and they never tested. They don’t explain things well and poor communication from front desk to others. I put comments of my unhappiness on their fb messaging and left my phone number and they never called back so I take it they don’t care. I am very sad about their communication and really don’t know how they treat my dogs because they take in back. Maybe they will look up my contact info and call me about this comment I heard you can pay one price and it covers all their vaccines. I have yet to be offered that. I asked about it on the phone and was told they would talk to me. I guess they font keep notes or follow up :(

Weve used Signal Butte animal hospital for a couple years. Ive never had a bad experience with them. I had an emergency one afternoon, my Minnie all of a sudden collapsed and I took her to Signal Butte with no appt & hoped they would see her. They took her in & the vet diagnosed her within 30 minutes. She was back to normal within an hour. Had to have my other dogs kidney stones removed. Their payment plan allowed us to do that without hesitation. Ive never had any problem with the staff. Covid did make things a bit more difficult, but we were still treated very nicely. We were clients of another vet here in Mesa for over 15 yrs & had an emergency on a friday, the beginning of 4th of July weekend My old vet told me to take my dog elsewhere cause they didnt have the necessary items needed for him nor did they make any attempt to aquire them. My dog would have died that night, but I went to an emergency vet & they had him up & almost back to normal that night. My old vet cared more about the money & remodeling their building than they did my dog. I never went back & never will. Thats how I found this place & Im glad I did. I would highly recommend this animal hospital to anyone.

We were there for a very sad reason. My sister recently moved to this side of town. Her cat, Lightening, was 17 which is quite old for a cat. It became obvious that he needed to be put down. No vet had any openings for at least 3 weeks and we needed to do this right away. Then we found them. Not only did they get us in that same day but they were cheaply priced for a vet. Their service and dedication to animals was very much in evidence while we were there. They took great care of us even employees that where busy with other animals. They all stopped by us with a kind word and understanding heart. Plus they did a really good job. I highly recommend them and will take all my pets to them in the future! Kudos Signal Butte Animal Hospital!!!

Weve been bringing our dog to get groomed here for a while because of the good results we would get after picking her up. Each time we would go back, however, she seems more and more hesitant to leave us; tail between the legs, shaking. This is not normal behavior for her. This last time we picked her up and brought her home she kept to herself for a day and thought she was just tired. She is still keeping to herself 3 days later and yelps every so often around her neck. I do not know what happened but will not be returning for additional business.

They are so awesome!! My dog doesnt do well at the vet, he suffers from extreme anxiety and requires heavy medication and a muzzle when I take him. The vet and staff always canter to his needs to make sure that he has the best possible experience! They also work us into the schedule even when theyre booked up because we live remotely and only have a limited time to take him. They truly care and are fantastic!

Stephanie did an excellent job job grooming my dog Ruby. We are new to AZ and this was my first visit. She understood exactly what I wanted and I could not be happier.

This office has been treating my older dog for her valley fever for almost 2 years now. Every time I call with my millions of questions, they are always patient and understanding. She’s been seen by a few different staff members when we go, but each one really shows they care about making her better. They know we are on a tight budget and always do whatever they can to help make the most cost effective decisions with her care. I always brag about this place!

Well organized, friendly, efficient staff. They gave me a bottle of water and were attentive to my dog. I was impressed with the service and being able to pay in the room. Nice clean office and exam room. Ill be back.

A coworker told me about this hospital when my little dog Copper started to not feel well. Within a couple hours he stopped breathing and passed away. My heart was crushed. I was sobbing crying with my copper in my arms and they were so empathetic and respectful. Although I chose not to receive his ashes they did offer his paw prints in a casting mold with a beautiful poem. Today I opened my mailbox and received a wonderful little card that all of their staff had left a personal note expressing their thoughts well wishes. Not many vets or animal hospitals will go above and beyond when someone loses an animal that is almost equivalent to their child. Good job signal Butte animal hospital. Although it was an awful experience losing Copper, you have made it easier to get through it. I have two other dogs and as long as I live out here I will continue to use them.

The doctor we met and the staff are truly fantastic at this Vets office!! Facing a surgery on our elderly dog had us sick with worry but the Doctor truly put us at ease and even though there are never guarantees when it comes to life and death he made us completely comfortable with the surgery, possible complications, and the recovery we were facing and he was very thorough in explaining everything to us. 💙💚🐕‍🦺💚💙

I have been a client to Signal Butte Animal Hospital since they opened. They have steadily become busier and busier, which in turn, makes it more difficult to get an appointment. The last two times I have requested an appointment, they could not see my dog for 2 weeks, so we scheduled with their sister clinic who got us in that same day. Now, I have to make the ultimate decision to euthanize my 16 year old dog after he collapsed and am told they are sorry, however, they cant accommodate me. I used to work at an animal hospital as a vet tech, and never had we turned away an existing client when they have to euthanize their pet. It is a hard enough decision for a pet owner, and to have it made more difficult because of now having to find another vet, is unacceptable. I wont be going back to Signal Butte Animal Hospital.

I cannot begin to thank you all enough, we had quite a rough week with Fritz and finding someone able to do his surgery. From the moment I called Singal Butte everyone was on the ball and working to get Fritz the care he needed. Everyone was beyond friendly, everyone was knowledgeable and answered questions thoroughly. I will 100% reccomend this office.

I had to think really hard about writing this review. My dog has been a patient there for a year now and I never had any issues until today.I brought my dog in to this office to have her vaccines and get her nails trimmed. They always take her to the back room with a muzzle on, because she can be very nervous and she just seems to do better when I am not present. When they brought her back to the room after her shots and trimming her nails, I noticed that one of her claws on her left paw was bleeding. I realized right away that they had cut into the quick. When I mentioned her bleeding, the vet tech stated that she must have snagged her claw on the muzzle. She said something else that was really stupid about how my dog wouldnt let them touch that one and that it must be her special claw. I dont remember the exact wording, but I didnt appreciate the patronizing tone.The tech went and got me gauze with peroxide on it for me to clean her bloody claw up with. I then realized that the same claw on the right foot was also bleeding. The tech tried to play it off and said something along the lines of, well take her back and have the doctor look at it to see whats going on with her claws. I know the doctor then put styptic powder on her bleeding, and it stopped after that. Nothing more was said to me about the whole thing.I dont appreciate being lied to, and I dont appreciate being treated like Im stupid. They made a mistake. I understand that can happen. However, to not only be dishonest but to stand there and try to make things up to cover your mistake, frankly it just pisses me off.Ill be finding another vet.

We took our new dog in for an initial check up and with a few concerns. We got him from a family that didnt take very good care of him. The technician and veterinarian made sure to cover everything he needed including medicine for an ear infection, vaccinations, and information on dental work. They got us back quickly and were very sweet. You could tell the employees really love animals. We have an appointment for grooming this weekend. I am hopeful it will go smoothly.

Dr Graham and the staff here are amazing. They have helped us with every phase of our dogs lives from puppy hood to a death. Always compassionate and informative.

The staff at Signal Butte Animal Hospital are phenomenal. Their expert advice and care allowed us to make educated decisions regarding our beloved dog. Dr. Wensman has a gentle and compassionate nature. My nervous natured pup was calm as could be in her care. I highly recommend this office. You will be well informed and your furry loved one will be top priority!

They were able to fit us in right away, the hospital is clean and staff is very friendly. I will be using this office as my primary Vet for my pets. Great service!

The best , most experienced veterinarians. I was there with 2 of my cats and they were straight forward with the bad news with one of them, but with compassion and great bedside manner and respect towards my cats. I couldnt ask for more caring and outstanding people than the people at Signal Butte. Its worth the longer drive for me anyway! ❤️❤️❤️🐾🐾🐾I also have to say that I volunteer with a cat rescue and receive the same outstanding service with those cats.Thank you Signal Butte! I called to make an appointment for our dog, we just adopted, to get groomed. The lady on the phone was real nice and explained to me they needed his shot records before they could book the appointment. So we talked about me coming in to drop off the paperwork.When I got there later that day I walked in and the lady at the desk said they werent allowing people in the waiting area due to COVID. But she would take my paperwork and book the appointment because I explained to her I was instructed to do so by someone on the phone. Well I had told the lady over the phone we were wanting to get our dog groomed later in the week, but when we get there and start booking the appointment the lady behind the desk said they couldnt get us in for over a month! The lady behind the desk just made us feel like she did not want our business and directed us to PetSmart, who by the way were AMAZING! I will continue to use PetSmart for all my pets grooming needs. So I guess I should thank the lady behind the desk for the reference.

This place is excellent! They truly care about you pets. The staff and dr took the time necessary to be thorough and discuss the visit. Everyone was helpful and friendly with a great atmosphere.

We needed to have one of our rats go to the “big rat cage in the sky” and I was so impressed with Signal Butte Animal Hospital. They were compassionate, kind and sweet to our family and our ratty. Later, they even sent us a card with our rats footprint. So kind and way above what was asked from them. Thank you Signal Butte Animal Hospital.

I just had 2 of my dogs groomed and I am so very impressed with how great they look! The groomer was so great and did exactly what I wanted for them! So happy with how they look! 100% satisfied!!

Great experience as a new customer. Very caring, unrushed visit to the vet. The vet and tech are very skilled, easy to talk to, and friendly. This will be my new vet. Very pleased!
