Twice now with different dogs I’ve called on a weekend knowing a same day appointment during a pandemic was a long shot. Both times they accommodated me and my very old dogs. The doctors I’ve worked with have exceptional bedside manner, are so understanding of concerns associated with senior dogs, and create treatment plans that consider the dogs’ unique needs and my budget. They are kind, professional, and have saved me from 2 weekend urgent care trips. So grateful they make themselves available when they can. Thank you from myself, Zeke, and Stella!

Poor baby! Groomer new girl had me pay $78 bucks before I saw her! I was mortified when I took her to the car! She has uneven coat everywhere! Shows her age spots and tail looks crazy! No bow to boot 😡 Asked for $10 off...no they couldnt do that! Next day none called me back! Finally called them @ 3pm. Spoke to Erica, she said she was the manager and would call me back. She called back later and offered to fix her tail. No REFUND! Do not take your dog here unless you see CARLA!

Weve been going to this vet clinic since shortly after they opened. It has been wonderful to see their business grow. Very kind and caring staff. Weve had to put down two animals in the last few years and couldnt be more thankful to be in such good hands during a heartbreaking time.Positive note- just took the pups in for a doggy spa day to the groomer. Quick, easy and they are so soft! Just book in advance because they fill up quickly! But its worth the wait.Both the clinic and the groomer have a great staff. They truly care about you and your fur babies.I wont go anywhere else.

I cant tell you how thankful I am to have found this clinic. I spent 2 hours on the phone with clinics across the valley, I can tell you how far back everyone is on their books and with that being said know one cares on the condition of your furr babies just that they are booked. The cost is outrageous and sad. People can be so rude. Las Sendas Animal Hospital was amazing!!! They were very caring, front reception was very sincere as well. I was able to get in that day and they took such good care of my baby. Thank you Dr Jackson and Madeline for everything we will back for all our future visits.

I always love your staff. My cat is easy to get along with, by my dog Shiloh can be rough at first. It never fails that the staff love him and take his personality into consideration when doing exams. They never rush and wait for his approval. He loves everyone there, never had a bad experience in the 2 years I’ve been taking them there. Thanks for always being so awesome with my little monster 💕

My elderly dog had been going downhill for several months and getting worse each day. After multiple trips to our previous vet and still not being allowed to go inside with my dog because of COVID I did not feel comfortable with them providing end of life to him. Las Sendas was recommended to us from another vet that was not accepting new patients. They were able to get us an appointment within days. When we arrived they immediately took us back to a room for privacy, and handled everything inside that room. The staff was amazing and very compassionate, even though it was our first time there. They took the time to explain the process, and answered all questions. Bailey passed away peacefully while I was holding him. I would highly recommend this clinic.

Friendly staff. Really enjoyed Dr Beebee. Super happy we don’t have to wear masks if vaccinated and that we can be in the room with our furbabies. I switched to you from my vet of 20 years since they still enforce masks & wouldn’t allow me to be with one of my high anxiety dogs which I wouldn’t allow so switched to you. We took our very sick dog here and the vet was very nice and helpful. Our dog needed to see a cardiologist and the vet told me she would call around and have him put on a waiting list since they were booking 6 months out. We later found out that we didnt get one of the medications he was supposed to be on and no one ever called the cardiologists to have our dog put on the waiting list. We ended up losing our sweet dog over their careless mistakes.

The staff is very friendly, compassionate, caring and understanding! They understand that some pets get traumatized going to the vet and treat them with kid gloves and very gently to make it as easy as possible for them. They took their time and explained everything thoroughly. I highly recommend this vet to everyone!Thank you so much!

We took our cat for a checkup and was told that he had crystals. They gave him medication and from that day forward he had nothing but diarrhea. They tried to treat it with more medication and still no change. Also kept getting passed around to 4 different Drs and had to go through the entire story and process over and over again every time. One would recommend a special prescription diet and medication, and then a couple days later another doctor would recommend a completely different prescription diet and different medication (and prescription food is not cheap). After four months and thousands of dollars of testing/treatment, he died of kidney failure. They had no clue on what was wrong with him(kidneys were in great health according to them the entire time) and kept pumping him with drugs until he died. I would never recommend this vet to anyone...unless you feel like wasting a bunch of money and losing your pet.We lost a member of our family 😥 and they could not care less.

We have been going to LSAH for over six years. The price of an exam has increased in that time. 2017-$49; 2018-$53, 8.2% increase; 2019-$55, 3.8% increase; 2020-$56, 1.8% increase; 2021-$64, 14.3% increase. AND, we used to receive a senior discount for the exam. Today we were told nope, because we purchased a Vaccines for Life @ $99, was $95 in 2017 the last time we purchased one of them, we dont receive a senior discount anytime we come in for the vaccines. We will pay full price for the office visit. I know inflation is in play, but really, this left a really poor taste in our mouth. C&A Tomkinson

I feel so bad. We drove down from Payson for our kitten to be seen, as Payson vets are 3 weeks out for an appointment. We were 1/2 hour late for appointment because of problems in our drive. I pleaded with the receptionist to work us in. I tried to call on the road but connections are bleak in the hills coming down south. A lot of sympathy with the receptionist, but no way for me to get wedged in. Im in my 70s, and cried all the way home.

Do not take your animal here very shady business practices. I took my dog for grooming and paid for the services plus added a $20 tip. Two months later I received a bill in the mail for services and my $20 tip. If I didn’t pay my bill how would you know I tipped 20??? When I called the office the manager could not understand the issue. This place is absolutely incompetent, how do you not see that your employees are stealing from you? To make matters worse they deleted my 5 week standing appointment, to tell me we can get you in 7 weeks later. absolutely unacceptable, and never even apologized. They do not care about the community or a permanent residents that will give you repeat business. We will not only be taking our business elsewhere, but we will ensure all of our family and friends in the Las Sendas community are fully aware to stay away from this place!!

We had been taking our dog here for months after a surgery. I have to say all the staff was professional and really did care. I would recommend them to everybody!

We have been to other vets in the area overvthe years with our dogs. Kind and compassionate are just a few descriptions of Las Sendas. Questions were promptly answered. Calling the next day to check on Lucy cemented the fact that we foubd a new vet!

My wife brought our dog and a fecal sample in this morning after being told on the phone they would test the sample for $80.00 and then tell us what the parasite was, however when my wife arrived they told her they would only test the sample and could do nothing to actually help our dog until August 10th when they could charge us for an unnecessary vet visit for something they would already know is wrong with him. Disgusting vet/customer service. My wife left crying with our animal feeling completely disregarded and I will make sure that nobody I know ever brings their animal to las Sendas animal hospital ever again.

Las Sendas Animal Hospital and Grooming have always been so kind and welcoming. All their vets are very caring and attentive. They are quick to get your pet in and take great care of them. While pet care is expensive, they are worth every penny. They’ve always gotten my dog in right away anytime I had a concern and didn’t try to get me to spend more money on blood work and tests that were unnecessary.

Hands down the best place I’ve gone. I live about a half hour away and still make sure I make the drive to them. They always come off as in it for the pet and not in it for the money. They have been nothing but hardworking, kind, and empathetic when it’s come to handling our pups. When one of them passed away they even hand wrote a card and mailed it to us. If you want someone upfront with you this is the place. They don’t waste time and your money trying to do a million tests when it’s clear that there is a path that they should take. Everyone there is amazing.

The entire staff and doctors take great care of our dogs. In particular, Dr Tuttle is the b st get we’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. We’ve been nothing but completely happy with the medical care here and the ability to get our dogs in on short notice. We also utilize their grooming service - and give high marks to Sarah for her care.

Ive been going to this vet for some time - they are always very nice and welcoming. When my cat was diagnosed with diabetes, they made sure we knew all of our options and was very helpful when ever we had questions. I understand that from the outside looking in, there prices seem high, but they do mainly interest-free payment plans which means theyre likely not getting paid in full for all of the hard work they do! On their payment plan, theyve worked with me to move payments and was very understanding and helpful. I recommend everyone I know to go to them - I dont know what I would do without them!

Don’t know where to start . 1st been taking dog for grooming for over 3 years . I was told have a standing appointment every 5 weeks . One day get a bill in the mail for $110 ,called in and they say I never paid. The grooming bill was $90 and a $20 tip , how would they know it’s $110 if I didn’t sign a credit card receipt. Nobody seemed to understand 🤷🏻‍♂️ After paying the bill again ,tried to set up next appointment was told earliest was like July 18th 🤔 Finally got a appointment on Friday the 11th at 1:30, showed up at 1:36 was told had a 1 o’clock appointment and can’t take dog 🤔 called spoke with mgr Rochelle said sorry no time ,you were late . Asked when then ,she says 5 weeks from now in July . I am a local living in LasSendas,not a winter visitor please help .I try to support local businesses but they just don’t want my money .On the better part the groomer Karla always did a great job on my dog. Guess need to go back to big box store like Petsmart. Very bad customer service !!

We take our sweet furbaby there for grooming and I LOVE Sarah!! Our dog adores her too. Shes always so excited and happy to see her! I highly recommend Sarah for grooming. The others seem to be really good too. Thanks for taking such wonderful care of our baby.

I have been taking my three fur babies there since we moved to Mesa a little over a year ago. I am very grateful to the Drs,, their knowledge and expertise. The techs and the front desk has wonderful customer service skills. I would highly recommend them.

3/5 for the cat groomer. I am keeping 2 stars due to not knowing or agreeing to my Ragdolls whiskers being trimmed back. She is disoriented and this causes a challenge for her to put up with the other resident cat, who doesnt recognize her scent and picks on her for it. The Ragdoll is a docile breed and Lucy doesnt deserve to be at a further disadvantage to her cat roommate. I am concerned that she might not play as much or as confidently now, something we do every day as well as taking fiber, to keep her bowels moving properly. As an old lady cat with FIV and whose joints pop, she needs all the playtime she can handle. We may or may not return to Las Sendas groomers.

Our groomer there is excellent!!! I have an 80 pound hyper lab, who sheds a ton and she is not only able to handle him, but he loves her. I apologize each time I take him in for a grooming that I didnt come sooner so it would cut down her work, but she is always congenial and great with him. He comes home beautiful, with a silky, soft coat each time! I would recommend her to anyone, as we have tried numerous groomers at different places and she is by far the best! Wont go anywhere else now.

Everyone was friendly and the vet called personally to discuss our cat. They also worked Us in on a Saturday...I called 7 vets yesterday trying to get Him seen, and these folks really took good care of our boy.

I was concerned because one of my dogs is not a people person. He’s about 100 pounds and not too friendly with strangers. I explained his personality to the employees. They were all professional. We put a muzzle on my dog just for the exam. They calmed him down. They done an awesome job. They My treated my dog for seizures. They were even able to get blood work from him. I have dealt with two different veterinarians here and both were amazing! They answered all my questions, didn’t make me feel rushed. The same goes for the rest of the employees. They all explained the medications and directions thoroughly. They all were extremely nice, attentive and knowledgeable. Overall great experience!! I definitely recommend!!

They are great!! When my puppy was sick of parvo (but I didn’t know at the time) they gave me every option they can and they were willing to help my puppy survive it, a few days later and my puppy is back to her old self, eating and drinking again, and plus they allowed a payment plan for the visit and medicine my puppy really needed! On top of that they taught me how to put an IV in my dog and how to give her anti nausea shots so I can do it at home! They are great! And I highly recommend!

I have had 3 appointments at this clinic for my animals. Everytime I bring my pets to this clinic they do not get seen for at least 45 minutes after their appointment time. I think whoever I check in with forgets to actually check me in, but it is very frustrating. I arrive 15 minutes early just like I would to any other appointment, I understand those 15 minutes are on me and not required as part of the check in. So I usually have to call and check in twice... I hate that I have to spend 2 hours for an appointment that is slotted for 15-30 minutes. It is now 30 mins past my dogs appointment time and she is still out in my vehicle with me

The entire team is awesome. Im so glad I took my kitty Cinnamon here. She had sneezes for about 6 months and the other vets wanted xrays and said oh its just allergies! This place showed care and actually concern and didnt just try to take all my money. $65, some antibiotics and 10 days later, shes all better. Thank you so much for actually doing the right thing! I fully reccomend.

Puppies really need that extra reassurance that the vet is a fun place to go. The staff made our Bernese Mountain Dog puppy, Jada, feel welcomed and loved instantly. They even gave her a teaspoon of wet food to eat (distraction) while they poked her with her necessary vaccinations. She didnt even feel the poke which gave me relief. Like many of us, I am a slightly over-protective pet mom to fur babies. I highly recommend the caring and genuine staff at Las Sendas Animal Hospital. Thank you!!

My 11 year old chihuahua had a growth under his front leg that had opened up and started to bleed. I called around and ended up calling their sister hospital which referred me to this vet. I called and they were able to get him in the same day and also do his surgery. Dr woods was awesome kept me up to date and suggested that we neuter him to reduce further health problems. I will be going here again.

I usually do not leave reviews but I figured these guys deserved it. The vets and vet techs at Las Sendas animal hospital are awesome and I appreciate them more than I can put into words. I have a very difficult dog and still they make it all work as smoothly as possible, they are constantly calling me after visits to see how my little guy is doing, and to follow up and see if I have any questions or concerns. They also work with you very well on payment plans which is great! You ladies over there rock, keep up the amazing work. Its such a relief finding a place for your pet you can trust and feel comfortable with.

Several reasons I bring my Winnie in, I have always been treated fairly, you are good with Winnie, prices are fair and right in line with what I expect to pay, your hours are conducive to me not having to take time off from work and you’re close to home!

This vet charges more than double the national average for similar services. We took our dog in and received a quote for xrays starting at $251 up to over $400. The national averge for the same service is $40-$125. This place treats you like a used car dealer and uses your love of your pet as a bargaining tool to charge you WAY more than they should. Stay away from this place at all costs.

Doctor is Dishonest, told my dog could have cancer or a blockage not allowing oxygenation ... ALL FEAR TACTICS - Because I would not pay overpriced Xray fees in a pandemic. This Vet is overpriced this place is Snobby , and I DO NOT RECOMMEND going here. Take your pet eleswhere based on THIS PLACE WILL GET YOU MORE STRESSED!

Wonderful staff! I was a nervous wreck when it came to leaving my cat overnight and they were so amazing with him. They knew I was uneasy and followed up with me multiple times after dropping him off. They loved him as I love him and you can feel it over the phone. My cat means the world to me and they got him and myself through a very difficult time, all while loved him when I was not physically able too as if he were their own.

We brought our senior dog here with an unusual, complicated issue that she ended up needing surgery for. Since it wasnt a routine procedure and the dog is old, we were pretty nervous, but the staff and doctor were great. They did a great job with the surgery, and a fantastic job throughout the process of communicating updates. Id definitely recommend this vet to anyone in the area.

Took my dog there August 14th for the same problem with my dogs ear . The staff was very unpleasant they treated me very unprofessional I am on a payment plan and they didnt even send me home medicine for my dog . To me this place is all about money not and not caring for somebodys pet who is part of the family . No I dont have a fancy car or money like there other customers. That is the problem w this world today . If you not well off people dont care I would never recommend this animal hospital to anyone. They really made me feel like I was a nobody and they didnt give a dam about dalphnA . My dog

The staff is friendly and the vets are knowledgeable, however, they try to sell you every single diagnostic test possible for the simplest visits. It is very frustrating that with every visit they try to squeeze every penny out of you rather than trying to treat with a basic workup and moving to a more complicated one if necessary, not to mention their prices are higher than most other local vets. It seems like they try to take advantage of you honestly. Only recommend if you’re in a pinch.

We had to put our oscar to sleep they got us in right away and were so caring gave us time to say goodbye. They gave us a BEAUTIFUL memory keepsake with his paw prints. Then a couple days later received a beautiful card and a butterfly paper that you plant and flowers grow... how thoughtful. I highly recommend them.

I take my German Shepherd Dexter to see Sarah for grooming. We drive all the way from Fountain Hills. We had been to 5 different places until we found Sarah. I had been told Dexter was to difficult to handle. Twice I actually wasnt even able to have the grooming service completed and I had to pick Dexter up early. I even tried to warn Sarah that Dexter would be a handful, she wasnt even phased. She took Dexter and my other dog Rory, without even a second guess. I have never seen my dog look as good as he does after he sees Sarah. My shepherd feels sooooo soft after!! I can never thank her enough for the magic she works with my dogs, especially my German shepherd. So Im hoping this helps to show just how much we love Sarah and the care, time, patience and work she puts into Dexter and Rory. I can only imagine the trouble they give her and without fail they always come out smelling amazing, clean, de-shed and most of all HAPPY!! From the bottom of our heart thank you Sarah!!!!

I went here in Feb 2020 with my cat because she peed outside the litter box and wasnt acting herself. The staff was very patient while I overexplained myself. The vet was very thorough and explained herself. However, when they took her to the back to get a urine sample the doctor took it upon herself to express my cats anal glands without permission. My cat is young and healthy so there was no medical reason to do that to her. Im very disappointed with the staff here. I no longer trust them and will not be returning.

Great place. Started taking our 7 week old puppy here. She is now 5 months old, received all her shots here. Staff is super friendly, and we have never had a single hiccup. Cant ask for anything more.

One friendly, easy going Collie and one VERY temperamental, high anxiety Corgi.Both my pups see Dr. Clancy.She is by far the nicest, most caring and professional veterinarian they have seen .The staff are also so incredibly friendly and very knowledgeable, they always take the time to make sure we understand whats going on and that were comfortable.Because of my corgis temperament, its been difficult for me to have him properly checked up and cared for in the past. Dr Clancy, her staff and I were able to work together to get my Corgi in a place where he could finally be properly taken care of. Las Sendas Animal Hospital has done so much for my Corgi, they truly go above and beyond and I am very thankful for all that they do.My fur kids are my life and I will always trust Dr Clancy and her staff with their care.

We were in the market for a new vet since ours retired. We were afraid of being at a place that ran unnecessary and expensive tests just to pad their wallets...been there, done that in the past. So after being with a vet for over 12 years and having poor previous experiences at other places, we were nervous about finding and trusting someone new.We were quite surprised and pleased by their practice. Their prices are reasonable, staff is friendly and efficient, short wait time, and hours that fit into our work schedule. The vets and tech reall seem to care about the pets and view them as family and understand our bonds to our pets. Some vets are just cold and heartless, but not this practice. Warm and inviting (not to mention very clean) and our pets actually look forward to going there. So happy to have found them.

Best vet office in Mesa! Everyone was so nice fromthe second we walked in. Dr. Liesse and the techs were so knowledge and sweet with my dog. They examined her and got her in right away for a surgery. They all were so sweet to her and i’m sure they made her feel so comfortable throughout the entire day. So thankful they took care of my dog!

Great experience and wonderful staff! They were able to get us in quickly when my usual vets couldnt an were so good with my little dog. Diagnosed a back injury and were back home quickly with meds that brought relief for my poor lil gal. Reasonable fees. Plan to return for future vet needs.

I took my chihuahua shitzshu in because she could not walk. Dr know right away what was around with her. And today she is great. She gets her medicine maybe once a week. I am very great full the Dr knew what was wrong. I recommend this hospital A+. And the staff was very nice.

Dr Flores and her assistant Kathryn were extremely kind, professional, and caring when my daughters guinea pig was dying. They got us in right away and so kindly and gently ended his suffering. They brought him in to my daughter and let her hold him & say goodbye. Several days later, my daughter received a condolence card and flower seeds to plant. Our usual vet was full and we had an emergency so they refered us here. My 13 year old chihuahua had a series of seizures and became unresponsive. They were able squeeze us. I knew the whole way there that she was gone, she was breathing but I knew she wasnt going to wake up. Unfortunately, I was right. They said they could try to wake her up but she would not be the same, the seizures had damaged her brain. I didnt want to keep her alive just to ease my pain. They let me hold her while they put her down, and then they allowed me to sit with her in a room for as long as I wanted. They made an extremely painful situation easier to get through. They were compassionate and gentle with me, a sobbing mess. I am very gratful for them, they helped my baby Penny gently cross over and Ill forever be grateful. Special thanks to Montana, who was very sweet and understanding. They even gave me a mold of her paws.

I would love to share my experience there with la send as veterinarians. Myself and my dad brought our dog in because he had been sick. And after losing my mom to cancer losing our dog Clyde was not an option. They ran test they did x-rays they gave him an injection of an anabiotic and said that he would be fine. After about a week he still was not doing good not eating but every other day. We called the vet back they told us that the injection of an anabiotic would be fine for two weeks and everything would be fine. It was not fine we ended up taking our dog to Little critters animal clinic where they diagnosed him with valley fever this is something that can kill your dog if not treated. Now we are doing anabiotic’s antifungal‘s and steroids. If you need anybody to treat your animals with careI would suggest that you go to Little critters veterinary clinic and hospital in Mesa. These people might have all the matters in the world at the front office but when it comes to testing diagnosing and caring for your animals it is not there. If I could take back the one star I would without a doubt.

This place is the best vet I’ve ever been to! Staff is sweet, caring, and professional ! They treat my pets like family :) I always feel happy when I leave from there! I highly recommend this place to ANYONE.

If you love your dog like I love mine, steer clear of Las Sendas Animal Hospital. While the staff is very accommodating, the veterinary skill leaves much to be desired. I have a male collie who was running and tripped on a stair. I was told by Las Sendas Animal Hospital that he needed a splint put on, which they did. They said he had a fractured elbow and a few sprains on his wrist. A few days later the splint broke so I took him back to get another put on. Again a few days later and it broke again, mind you I was limiting the dog from any exercise. Finally they put a splint on that was bigger & conformed to his large size. (one that should have been put on to begin with). They had me keep the splint on longer then they originally said it needed to be on. He had a pressure sore when they finally took the splint off, which had to be treated. They x- rayed his leg and told me that everything else was fine. I noticed that he was still limping. They told me that sometimes when a dog doesnt use the leg for a time, they have to get used to putting weight on it again and that it would get better with time. Mind you all of this cost over $2000 to do. I just took him to a veterinary specialist in Gilbert who told me that the dog had a dislocated wrist in the x-ray that Las Sendas Animal Hospital said looked fine and that now all his tendons/ligaments were collapsed and he needed surgery so he wouldnt be in pain, but that he will always have a limp. I asked the specialist how could LSAH not have known this and he said, Well, they must have made a mistake The cost for the surgery he needs will be over $5000. I cant fathom other people having the same type of experience as I have had. I know there are other animals lovers out there like me. If you love your dog, take him/her to a veterinarian that knows what the hell their doing because Las Sendas Animal Hospital sure doesnt.

I called them because I saw someone had stated they where were very friendly and helpful. I got the complete opposite experience. I have a dog who has an ear infection but as a guard dog so hes not actually a dog you could take to the vet. I called and simply asked if they had anything that they sold for dogs ear infection I could come in and purchase. The lady who answered the phone told me he needed to be seen before they could tell me anything. I then said so you dont sell anything over the counter or cant recommend anything that I could do without the animal being seen by the vet. It was quiet I heard no response I said hello, hello she had hung up on me. Now how complicated and how much time would have taken to just say, no Im sorry our veterinarian would have to see him first before we could give you anything.

I am so lucky to have found them when I did. My older dog Sebastian had been attacked by another dog. Once they knew he was a cardiac dog they brought me in immediately - literally minutes before the posted closing time. The care he received was amazing.My other dog Zach is a nervous nellie who had hurt his leg. The vet and the tech get on a blanket on the floor to keep him comfortable & do a complete exam.Going in its expected to pay for services performed. To receive those services by professionals who genuinely care is priceless.When Sebastians time to cross the rainbow bridge came about I wouldnt have been able to handle it anywhere else.I highly recommend them for any aspect of pet care.

Answered all of my questions, and a very caring sweet staff. They all are very calm and I dont feel rushed on my dogs visits. I would highly recommend.
