Great place to take your pet. I have only known them for a short time but they gave me and my little Jolie a great experience. They are very accommodating even on short notice. Dr Stephens and staff are very compassionate, caring and professional.Highly recommend.

Took my kitty cat here for a spay. When I called they said they were scheduling out a couple weeks for surgery so we set our appointment and waited. When they sent the appointment reminder it was for a completely different time but We made it work. We got there and they say they had no surgery times available for that day and to come back tomorrow. They tried to do blood work but said our cat was too “wiggly” but still charged us for the visit. So we came back the next and the procedure took place. When it came time to pay we used our care credit card (that we got for this specifically) and they said the payment was declined and we had to call care credit before we could take our cat home. So I called care credit and they said there were no blocks on the account and there was no reason the payment would be declined. They advised to make sure the office was processing it as care credit instead of a credit card. When I informed the front desk they simply said we only have one way of processing and it’s declining and there’s nothing they could do . We ended up having to tack the $500+ charge onto another card. Meanwhile my care credit account has two pending transactions for $500+ from this clinic. I would never ever recommend this clinic…

We appreciate this vet so much, cant even express it in words! (About an hour drive away for us, completely worth every minute.) I moved to Mesa and had to set up with a new Veterinarian. Based on reviews I choose Power Road. I set up a Meet and Greet with Dr. Stephens as I have a Special Needs Dog. One major condition was that I stay with Lance at all times due to his anxiety. I was assured that was not a problem and on the first visit everything went very well I was extremely pleased by the caring staff and Dr. Stephens. 4 weeks later I make an appointment of a blood draw to renew his thyroid medication. Waited 10 days to get in and low and behold I was not allowed to be with him. I told them the Dr. Stephens noted I stay with Lance. They said I would have to wait in the lobby or outside! I cancelled the appointment and when I got home they called and wanted to know why I was not at the hospital for Lances appointment! Very unprofessional and not caring to special needs dogs. Bottom line if your dog or cat has special needs this is not the place for them. Shame on them for not honoring their word from the initial appointment!

Everyone is so friendly and they have taken good care of my dogs for 10 years and I like going someplace where I feel like they take good care of you and your dogs. They were so kind and helpful when I had to put my dog to sleep. I will recommend them to everyone

I just moved to Arizona and started here because my son comes here. Amazing place! The doctor got right back to me with test results and any tests she needs to run are listed on an invoice that they go over with you and you can see all of the costs before hand and choose what works for you, financially. Never had a vet do that. Friendly staff, safety is tops right now, all around great place. Would highly recommend.

I have been bringing my dog Amelia here for several months now, and I cant say enough about the staff here. Not only do they treat whatever problem Amelia is having quick and effectively, but they show over the top kindness. We just finished a vet appointment and my car wouldnt start. Not only did their staff attempt to jump start my vehicle but they kindly let me stay in the lobby until assistance arrived. They offer great scheduling and all of the doctors we have seen have been amazing. The medical staff are so warm and welcoming. Couldnt say enough about Power Road Animal Hospital!

We have been taking our dog to power Road animal Hospital for 14 years and over the last two years their quality has imploded. The staff remains friendly but weights have been long, service has been frustrating, and the actual veterinarian it’s misleading at best. Multiple close friends have also stopped taking their animals there and now I know why. Recently I was lied to by the veterinarian telling me I didn’t need bloodwork for my dog and then received messaging telling me I had him bring him back in for bloodwork or medication would be discontinued. Brody is a 14-year-old frail lab who is blind and traumatized by trips in the car by the way. Then after trying to straighten it out with them they essentially denied that ever happened. I told them they left me no recourse other than to find a new veterinarian who was more ethical and they instantly told me they would send me his information and said goodbye. Unbelievable I haven’t had a business experience this bad in 35 years. Please don’t support them and don’t take your pets there’s.

There is a big lack of communication with the staff and clients. If there is going to be a 2 hour wait for vaccines (with an appointment) then the client should be informed before taking the pets back. I dont mind waiting if there has been emergencies but informing people ahead of time is the best practice and giving them the opportunity to run some errands while waiting.

My husband and I struggled to find a clinic we could trust and were SO happy when we found Power Road Animal Hospital.Just recently, our cat had a foreign body obstruction and required surgery. Every single staff member we dealt with went above and beyond: not only did they take amazing care of our Milo, but they were so kind and sensitive towards our situation. Milo’s surgery went incredibly smooth and his recovery is coming along without any issues. We are so so thankful for Dr Schneider, Bee, and the other nurse (sadly we didn’t catch her name) who worked on Milo. We can’t say enough good things about Power Road Animal Hospital.

Weve had one dog have an emergency c-section with Dr Trahan and were very happy with how the situation was handled. He went above and beyond, stayed until late at night due to the situation and made sure all of our questions and concerns were addressed. We had a second dog have surgery with Dr Johnson and she was great! Called me before hand to go over what was happening and answer my questions. The staff has always been professional and kind. Im new to this office but have been very happy with it. Highly recommend.

Amelia from their office was also a huge help during this process in calling to ensure my dog was doing well afterward. They really took the time to get to know my dog and her needs as if she was their own. They went way above and beyond to accommodate special requests to make sure my dog was comfortable as well as always communicating throughout the surgery her status. The surgery itself went perfectly ( even with my dog being high risk). The incision is healing beautifully. Their price point is perfect and affordable with highly experienced top quality service. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE if you value them. I took my dog into this clinic because he was acting sick. They did his bloodwork and told us he was fine, his levels were slightly elevated, but not to worry about it. Days later, he started acting severely ill. I called this clinic back and asked them to get him in because he was urgently in need of care. They refused to work him in to see his doctor who had all his records and told me to take him elsewhere. I did and, honestly, I am so glad they did not care enough about their patient to see him, because I took him somewhere thats actually competent. They reviewed his previous bloodwork that was done by Power Road Animal Hospital, and were in shock that his vet had not caught that he has pancreatitis, a very life-threatening condition, because it was clear in his bloodwork. They did new bloodwork and his levels are now off the charts, because he was left untreated even though I paid hundreds of dollars to have this clinic tell me that my very sick dog was fine. He now has to be hospitalized because his illness was not caught soon enough, even though I took him to see a doctor at this clinic. His new vet was so appalled by their negligence, that he asked me where I had taken my dog previously so that he would never recommend them. This place may be fine for a nail clipping, but do not take your pet here if you are concerned that there is something serious going on or if you want them to prioritize their loyal clients. Ive taken my dogs here for non-serious things for years and feel so disrespected and let down. If my dog dies, it was totally preventable and I blame this clinic for failing him. Im sharing this story so that anyone reading it is warned the way I wish I had been. Please, take your beloved pets elsewhere

My dog was a new patient at Power Road Animal Hospital. The lady on the phone was able to work us in to be seen that morning, and didnt turn us down. My dog had a cut on his ear. While in the exam room, the tech even came in to tell me that the vet was running a few minutes over with the other patient, but would be in to see my dog as soon as they can. I will be coming back to this place with my animals.

New patient with a diabetic dog and was able to get an appointment in a timely manner. The doctor took time to explain what she had done and reasoning behind it. I felt like the doctor cared about my dog even though we are temporary clients due to being RV’s. 😀

Making an appointment was very simple and I did not have to wait weeks. Once at the clinic, the staff was attentive, prompt and friendly. They followed COVID procedures to the letter. They were very caring with my pooch and she did not seem to mind the experience, which isnt always the case with pets. Dr. Stephens was professional and willing to listen. Overall, a great experience and I believe I have found a permanent veterinarian clinic for my dog.

This was our first time at our vet. They were willing to squeeze our dog in to make sure he could be seen same day. They went above and beyond in caring for my pet. I will be switching to this vet permanently!

I requested an appointment on line Friday night, by 7:30 the next morning they emailed me with a same day appointment! Unfortunately I didn’t check my email until 3 minutes before there scheduled time, I called, they were so accommodating they got me in at a later time that I was able to make. All of this as a new patient!!! They welcomed us warmly, and took amazing care of my dog. My dog is 14, and everyone was so kind, loving, and gentle with her. They were outstanding!!! 100 out of 10 would go again!!! I will be taking all of my dogs to this vet!!

Great experience. Was able to call first thing in the morning and secure an appt for the same day. They even called and said they had an earlier one open up. Saved by not paying a premium at an emergency vet by them being able to schedule me in.

We have been taking our pets to Power Road Animal Hospital for 24 years (since 1996) - always been very pleased with the service and the doctors. My dog had an eye infection - I called to make an appointment Friday afternoon. The person that answered the phone said the first opening is 3 pm Monday. I made that appt to resv a spot. I asked if my only option is to take her to emergency since I am concerned about waiting three days for an eye problem. She said that is up to me. I ended up calling San Tan Animal Hospital in Queen Creek. They were booked as well - but said that they did not want me to wait that long since it is an eye infection. They asked me to call the following morning. I called Saturday morning and they got me in at 10 am. I may be driving 25 minutes to see the vet rather than going around the corner from now on. Very disappointing.

10 stars! We absolutely LOVE this vet. We have been coming here for years (+5) and we are SO lucky to have found them. The doctors are AMAZING and the staff is FANTASTIC. I literally cannot say enough good things about this vet.Weve seen every doctor here, but our regulars are Dr. Landreth and Dr. Stephens. Normally we can get in same day or next day (though all this craziness with Covid-19 has us needing to schedule out a bit, its not their fault, theyre doing the best they can while trying to keep everyone safe and healthy). They will often suggest one of their sister vets if they cant fit us in.I trust the vets completely and know that they will happily and competently guide us in making the best decision for our fur children. Ive had many phone calls (some after closing) to discuss test results at length. I so appreciate them spending the time on the phone with me after what Im sure is a long day.I highly recommend this vet. We occasionally consider moving, but anytime we toy with the idea, a factor we consider is wed need to find a new vet!

I made an appointment to have me dogs nails trimmed since Petco and PetSmart were unable to due to my dog having too much anxiety. The staff member was super nice and understood about my dogs separation anxiety with me and said she will take her time to make it a good experience for him. I really appreciated that. Yesterday I called at least 15 vet hospitals on the east side of the Valley and no one could get my sick pup in. I reached out to Power Road and they absolutely made us feel like a priority. They worked us in within minutes of arriving, all of the office staff and technicians were great with her and kind to me. The team did a great job at communicating all costs at every point of figuring out what my poor girl had going on. We ended up doing surgery the same day, again I cannot say enough kind things about this hospital. We dealt with two doctors in the time we were there and both were informative and helpful throughout the process. Power Road Animal Hospital has an amazing staff and quality vet care.
