Smart Paws is AMAZING. Jenina came to our home for a session to help us train our 12 week old puppy. She is so wonderful, knowledgeable and compassionate with dogs. With her help our puppy is already nipping less and more comfortable and willing to go into her crate. Her methods make a lot of sense and are kind but firm. Cannot recommend her enough!

Simply put, Jenina is a wonderful dog trainer. Shes especially kind and gentle with your pup, while simultaneously giving you concrete and definitive instructions on how to work out whatever problematic behaviors your dog might have. Each session with her was not only an enjoyable experience, but also incredibly informative. Our rescue dog has issues with leash pulling, as well as motion and sound sensitivity / anxiety, which Jenina recognized immediately and was able to give us straightforward techniques to work through with our little goofball.

We did an initial Skype session with Jenina for our 7 month old puppy, and she gave us some very helpful tips on training him, so we decided to do the six-class training course. The course was great and it gave us a number of good exercises to practice at home, and the training has stuck very well.

Jenina is a fantastic dog trainer. A friend recommended her and we hired her for four in-home training sessions with our newly adopted dog. She was warm, friendly, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. Our dog loved her and was very responsive to her techniques. She was very sensitive to his behavioral needs and separation anxiety issues. We love that she is focused on positive reinforcement and still use what we learned from her every day. I highly recommend Jenina. she is a great dog trainer, and she is very patient too. Austin( my dog) loved her . she did a great job working with my 10 and 13 year old kids, who are responsible for the dog. She was also very accommodating and worked with our schedule. We did private training at my house. overall she is great .

Jenina has done an amazing job both with training my puppy and teaching me how to train - theres no one else Id rather work with. In the current situation, in addition to having an outside area where we have easily been able to social distance, Jenina has also been very responsible with masks, gloves, etc. Aside from the training, she has provided so much insight into dog behaviors and is a great source of all types of advice, anywhere from handling dogs, to tips on what supplies and treats to buy.

Jenina has done an amazing job training my dogs. She transformed my little terror terrier into a well behaved dog that walks perfectly on the leash, doesnt go nuts around other dogs, and does what he is asked to do. She also helped blend a new dog into the household avoiding territorial or aggression issues. Thanks to Jenina I have 2 really well behaved dogs!

Jenina is an amazing trainer! Ive had some experiences with other trainers in private and group settings, before but this is the first class where I felt like I actually learned how to communicate with my dog. Shes all about positivity and building steps for dogs and humans to become successful!My boyfriend and I learned how to get our dog Pepe to walk better on the leash, to come to us easier, and to distract him or (call off) in various ways when a trigger comes close to him.Jenina also addressed our private concerns and has given us the tools to help our lives improve with Pepe.I highly recommend Jenina to help you understand and train your dog!
