I was so nervous to come in, it had been 6+ years since the last time I had been to the dentist. Everybody was SO nice, didn’t make me feel guilty or bad for not going regularly in the past, explained everything they were doing and listened to all of my concerns and questions. I cannot recommend this office enough. Im happy to be able to come in regularly from now on knowing I will be in their care. I’m so glad it was recommended to me!

Everyone at this office is nice, kind, friendly, and fast. It is nice not having to spend 20 minutes checking in, or out. Scheduling is always easy and I seem to always be able to find something that works great with my schedule. Every time I have been there the staff is running on time. The hygienist Stella was great, she is knowledgeable and thorough at her job. This is odd to say, but best teeth cleaning I have had in while. Dr. Krendl is amazing. I know that he sees my name in a chart before he enters the exam room, but he always seems to remember things that we had talked about at previous appointments. I feel comfortable and taken care of every time I am in the office. I also love, love, love the updates that were just done to the office. Everything looks so clean, new, and modern.

I always have a great dental experience when I at Colorado Dental Arts.Molly was my hygienist for years, and I appreciated her funny, quirky style as well as the great job she did taking care of my teeth. She was a hard act to follow.The transition to Stella has been terrific. She is a great hygienist because she is thorough yet gentle, she is kind, and has a lovely personality. I had a full set of x-rays done yesterday and she was as gentle as she could be, so I did not end up with a mouth full of sores from the equipment.I appreciate that she gives reminders about teeth health without scolding.It is nice to feel that I am seeing a small town dentist in the big city. I was not happy with my visit this time due to the fact that I felt pressured to get an implant. My mother has paid an exorbitant price for her implant and now Im being recommended for one. Im not sure I trust the recommendation so I am seeking an outside opinion from someone not recommended by Colorado Dental Arts. I also felt pressured to get a sleep apnea test since Dr. Froning apparently is doing CPAP mechanisms in his retirement.

I highly recommend Colorado Dental Arts. Dr. Krendl and his team are always friendly, caring and doing a great job. I never have to wait long and I feel like they always take time to answer my questions, incl. billing (thanks again, Jody). Mardel has been my hygienist and shes really nice and thorough. I was impressed with how well things were run when I first came to the office, but less then a year after getting a crown, the tooth and crown broke off. I was told sorry your insurance wont pay for another, and i asked why this crown broke in less then a year when i have two other crowns i have had over twenty years. The dentist said the tooth may not of been strong enough and gave me an alternative procedure, i asked if the tooth was not strong enough isnt it your job to give me your expert opinion on what would be the best solution. (NO GUARANTEE ON THE WORK OR EXPERT OPINION). My teeth for the most part are in pretty good shape and if this is the kind of service and guarantee you provide, no thanks i will take my familys business elsewhere.

My entire family has been seen here for over 20 years, my grandfather was also a dentist in CO for 50 years and recommended Dr. Frauning to our family for the rest of our lifelong dental work. After the practice was bought recently I’ve never been so disappointed and disrespected by employees and practice all together! Never have I had to pay 400 dollars out of pocket to get my teeth cleaned yes that’s WITH INSURANCE and I work at a hospital! They make you pay before the services that they don’t even finish (my teeth still had deposits in them and my tooth was never filled after spending almost 4 hours there. The front desk/billing lady told me that getting the laser was NECESSARY over the phone, which my doctor never told me once, so again just trying to get more money out of me with things that aren’t covered by insurance and not saying one word until they already did it. The doctor seemed nice but I only saw him for maybe 5 minutes. This is the most unprofessional facility I’ve been to after all the dental nightmares I’ve been through and I won’t be going back here! Do not give them your service or your money they are absolutely horrible and will do whatever they can to shake every last penny out of you!

Ever since this practice was taken up by the new dentist, Dr. Krendl, I have had nothing but the ABSOLUTE WORST experience, care, and customer service there. I had been a long-term patient at this practice and have had several perfect procedures (wisdom teeth extraction, dental cleanings, fillings, etc.) by the prior dentist, Dr. Froning, before he retired. I never had any complaints with this office until now under new management.I came in earlier this month for a liquid polish (aka surface sealant) to achieve glossiness of my ceramic filling, which typically wears off with time and takes a few seconds to redo in the clinic. Despite emphasizing and being specific to the receptionist and dental assistant, I was given the wrong service. Without listening to what I was requesting, she assumed and consulted the dentist that she was able to quickly do this on her own without a formal exam by him. Therefore, he did not perform any exam or verify what I came in requesting. He did not ask me any questions about my teeth; instead he introduced himself and walked away.I was suspicious that something else was being done as the unsupervised dental assistant was shaving away my teeth and applying things that I did not remember previously doing for the polish. I kept asking questions during the procedure, but she reassured me that she knew what she was doing. I looked at my teeth after the exam only to notice that it was #1: NOT shiny as I was requesting, had NO polish on it, #2: The tooth was more translucent and darker than before because she shaved away so much of my ceramic filling, therefore making my chipped tooth underneath look more evident, and #3 I was notified that a SEALANT was applied, not the liquid polish/gloss that I was expecting. They were still going to charge me $100 for an “exam” that I did not get and the sealant that I did not request.I obtained several 2nd opinions regarding this and confirmed that the purpose of a sealant is completely different from a polish – sealants are to protect natural teeth from erosion and are typically matte whereas a polish can be applied to fillings to achieve the glassy-like look. No dentist I consulted knew how this could have been mistaken in the first place.I scheduled another appointment with the dentist to discuss my concerns. I expressed my frustrations and severe self-consciousness of the tooth as it now is in worst condition than it was prior to the procedure and I’d most likely have to get the filling redone completely. Without even looking at the tooth, he was rude and unapologetic about what was performed. After looking at the tooth again, he admitted that there was no gloss on the tooth. He stated that he could polish it there but could do nothing about restoring the whiteness of the original filling I had before unless I wanted to pay someone else to have it redone. He did not want to take the responsibility of the mistake and instead deferred me elsewhere to have it redone and spend even more money on it (I recently paid to have this filling done for $800, and it is supposed to last me for 10 years).Unless you want to experience MEDICAL MALPRACTICE and terrible bedside manner first-hand, I do NOT recommend you going to this office. They will overcharge you for services that you did not request, not get what you came in for, and they will fail to take responsibility and fix the problem that they caused in the first place.In the medical ethics, this is considered a “Never Event” – performing the wrong procedure on a patient without confirming and receiving consent is preventable and should NEVER occur. Instead of beneficence, I saw maleficence.

Just had an appointment with Stella at Colorado Dental Arts. Shes the perfect combination of friendly, warm, courteous, professional and skilled. Dr. Krendl is great too, but a teeth cleaning is good or bad depending on the hygienist, and Stella is the best!

2019: Friendly staff! I was referred here by a friend and 2 years ago. Both my husband and I have been enjoying our every 6 month appointments ever since.Update 7/2020: Still a great staff. Jodi at the front is always smiley and easy to talk with. Mardel cleaned my teeth a d was very gentle and taught me something new. The new Dentist is very nice and personable. My visits are more than just a cleaning. I’m catching up with an old friend. I have also been to another hygienist, Molly, who is very good, personable and funny! The two of them always make me laugh. Whoever thought going to the dentist would be fun? I highly recommend this office for your dental care.

This dental practice started out very good for our family. Dr. Froning and his staff were very good. When Dr. Froning retired, they sold the business, but we had already moved on due to the horrible billing practices that were going on. We got bills for $4000 plus dollars after we had already paid what we were told to pay after insurance. Turns out, insurance was not being billed correctly. This went on for over a year!! The new people kept telling us that they would bill insurance again, etc. They did, and I got a bill for 160.00 plus dollars. I called on July 7 and was told things were still not right. I knew this, cause it should have been ZERO based on what we had been told to pay in the past.Fast forward to August, when they called me saying I owed $273.00. I told them I wanted it written off, as this had been a total nightmare. I finally got the same bill again today--Oct 8. NO BILLS until today since JULYI finally told them that my 800 credit score is worth more to me than $273.00, but apparently, their dental practice is not because the fact that the past owners didnt know what they were doing was not MY problem, yet they chose to make it my problem. You know what else would be great??? A bill that shows LINE BY LINE what is going on. We never have gotten this. They claim to have written off 1900.00 dollars. SHOW ME! I dont have time for this. You are in the business of customer service. Learn it!BEWARE!! I have a great dentist now who knows how to deal with dual coverage--these people dont, so if you have two insurances, DOUBLY BEWARE!! I never have an ounce of problems at my new office, and my claims are paid in weeks, not years.

I’ve never received better dental care. The office staff is wonderful, my dental hygienist cleans my teeth without poking and prodding and is gentle in areas that are tender. Both Dentists are wonderful! Dr. Fronings ability to give painless shots is remarkable. He is a perfectionist who cares about quality. The dental assistants do a wonderful job as well and are always happy and willing to contribute to patient comfort (warm lavender neck pillows, blankets, music, etc.). I wouldn’t go anywhere else!!

I have been going to Colorado Dental Arts for close to 7 years now. I have never had any issues with them. The staff is very friendly and always engaging. Others should take note, this is what makes the patient feel comfortable and have a great overall experience. While Ive seen Dr. Froning for most of the past 7 years, I did see Dr. Nguyen this time and was just as happy. Both are very thorough and do a good job of communicating what they see during the exam. Ive been going here for 25+ years since I was a young child and have always had a great experience. They have a dental savings plan that is great if you dont have dental insurance.

Dr Froning and Dr Blomquist are wonderful dentists and the staff is awesome. I love the spoiling you get with warm neck pillow and blanket if you desire.I have been a patient since approximately 2007.

I have always been a dental-phobic-- truthfully I still am but Dr. Froning and his staff are so wonderful, empathic and gentle that Im able to relax and trust in their care. I have been a patient for 10 years and wholeheartedly recommend Colorado Dental Arts. Their office is state-of-the-art and their prices are comparable to other dental offices. I just had an emergency last night and they got me right in today. They really do care about their patients.

Ive been going to Dr. Froning for almost 30 years! Love the office, the staff and especially Dr. Froning. Molly has been my hygienist for about four years now. She is very sweet and gentle while she works on my teeth. I highly recommend Colorado Dental Arts!

Practically no one looks forward to visits with the dentist....however I never dread going to Colorado Dental Arts. Molly makes the session almost fun and does a fantastic job. Dr. Froning is the best and his entire staff compliments his expertise.
