I avoided the dentist for years before my husband made the appointment for me when we were still dating. Now 6 years later, I’m still going back to Ken Caryl Dental. This place is professional and amazing. It’s a dentist, so no, it’s not the park. But I have some bad teeth. Dr. Goral has helped me get caught up on some old bad teeth and bad work. The entire team is amazing and always talking me through procedures. My husband is lucky to really just do his bi-annual cleanings. But the team has walked me through bad old fillings, Army dental work, ancient fillings (wow, we don’t use this technology anymore, we’re past this). I’ve even been squeezed in on an emergency when I had a tooth break in half once. If your dental health is important, and it is, these guys are the best!

Welcoming and accommodating staff, along with a professional Dr. made for a great experience. I was nervous to go back to the dentist after such a long time away but was welcomed and reassured that they were going to take care of me. So glad I took the time to go in.

This really is a great organization. The admin staff is on top of things and very professional and friendly. The Hygienists do a great job of explaining what they are doing and why. The dentists seem genuinely caring about their work and your health. Overall excellent dental office.

Excellent place, people are extremely friendly and very concerned with doing good job. cleaning is done professionally and thorough. Doctor does review cleaning and looks for any other abnormalities after cleaning is done. Do have to wear mask coming in and take questions and temperature check, but this is mostly for staff and your safety and is greatly appreciated.

We love Ken Caryl Dental Center! I have been going here for years and love the quality care I receive. I have now transitioned all four of my kids from their pediatric dentist to Dr. Goral. Karen does an exceptional job of cleaning my teeth. The office staff is friendly and helpful. My Story: I moved here with my beautiful and adorable wife, Jennie, in December 2015 so we could be close to her mother. Well, our mother really. I left behind Dr. Mitchell Milan who had taken good care of me for over a decade, and confronted a dental wilderness. I tried four different offices but never found the sense of confidence and comfort I had with Dr. Milan. So I put off and, uncharacteristically, neglected my dental needs. I did do some research and spied KCDC but, because of my mother-in-law’s failing health (she died March 14 and I miss her every day), I didn’t act until a tooth became cracked and I had an emergency. That’s when I first came in contact with Dr. Jason Rand and discovered that my mouth was a place of awe, wonder and opportunity. It turned out that I needed an implant, but my situation was a little complicated, so Jason did some serious research to find the absolute best solution for me.His research clearly paid off because when I arrived a couple of weeks later, Jason has assembled an impressive array of devices that left me with one unmistakable conclusion: Getting my implant done correctly, despite the complications, was the most important undertaking of his life so far. My previous three implants had been brute force affairs that left me feeling like I’d been marched before a firing squad. But this time, I felt I was Jason’s partner in a high tech rendition of Swan Lake. The implant and three crowns (OK I had a lot of problems) went spectacularly well. During all the procedures Dr. Jason made me feel, well, special, and loved. He so much enjoys his work, and I enjoy his fussing over me, that it didn’t seem so bad to have problems, because I was confident he could help me.Another positive is that Dr. Rand treats his assistant, Jammi, Kimberley, and Raina like members of the royal family who happen to be doing a dental rotation. Maybe it helps that these young women are the most skilled and dedicated I have encountered in my 71 years. And they treat me like I am family. Where do they find these people?Then there is the administrative staff, who are consistently positive and enthusiastic, and helpful.Finally, their Quality Dental Plan must be considered as a factor. I am a financial economists (I can compute your mortgage payment to the penny) and calculated that their plan is outrageously favorable to the patient, so I signed up immediately (before they could change their mind). I asked them about the plan and they told me that making good dental care affordable to those, like me, who do not have insurance, is part of their service to their patients. I am actually sleeping better at night now that I have finally found a home here in Colorado where I know all my dental needs will be met.

Staff is always great! They take every possible precaution to keep their patients safe from being exposed. I do miss getting my teeth polished but understand why this isn’t possible in this crazy world right now. Everyone takes great care of my teeth and I! Thanks!

I have always dreaded going to the dentist. I feel like they dont really care and just get you in and out like a Friday afternoon union assembly line. That all changed once I went to see Dr Rand and his staff. They are more thorough than I could ever imagine. Had a couple of cavities replaced that poor quality Comfort Dental threw in and Dr Rand made sure everything was perfect. Pain was gone and things have been great since. My wife thought she liked her old dentist...then I talked her into going to Ken Caryl Dental Center and she was stunned how awesome they were. Its just a different level of care that you just dont get other places. On top of the service, the prices are awesome. Cannot say enough good things about them.

Hands down the best dental Center Ive ever been to. The staff was professional, informative, and extremely nice and welcoming. Ive been going to Dr. Goral and more recently Dr. Rand for 20 years, and also bringing my 3 children here since they had teeth. Theyre now 13, 15 and 18, and have never understood why anyone would be afraid of their dentist. The docs are super-focused on patient comfort and good, lasting outcomes, and the staff has always been excellent and friendly.

I woke up one morning with a toothache. Dr. Rand and hhis staff had me in a chair before noon and to a specialist before the end of the day. Now Im set for surgery to remove the tooth. Dr. Rand and his staff have to be the best, most competent, efficient and professional group in Denver!

We just moved here and I had previous issues that needed to be addressed, I found this office and it is by far the best dental care facility I have ever been too, the staff is incredibly nice. They got me right in and then they even stayed over an hour late just for me so Doctor Rand could address the problems I was having. They put their patients first here and I would recommend to anybody!

Im 27 and have been going to Doctor Goral for what seems like almost 20 years now and the service has always been exceptional.Just today, I had my wisdom teeth extractedby Dr. Rand and I must say the whole experience was amazing. Especially considering the rumors you hear of how brutal this can be. From the initial consult, his knowledge and explanation immediately gave me an peace of mind because he definitely knows what he is talking about. Being 27 and having a procedure like this holds more risk than when you get them out at an earlier age but Dr. Rand had 100% confidence and was very thorough. Here I am about 2 hours post surgery and i feel completely coherant, minimal pain and expect a very smooth recovery process.If you too are needing to have this done, there is no one out there you could trust more than Dr. Goral, Dr Rand, and all of their amazing staff! Thank you all for your hard work and effort.

Where to start....I hate dentists (Yes I said it) I have had some pretty hardcore dental treatment and care since I was 8 years old (yes I was that child). I have had horrible experiences, good experiences, and ok experiences. Needless to say over the years of experience I am like a Wine Sommelier of dentists. I found Ken Caryl Dental Center after doing extensive research on dentists in the area. Yes, I had fired my previous dentist (not to be named) in Lone Tree, and was on the hunt. I made a standard teeth cleaning, and dental exam appointment with Dr. Rand to test them out. Might I say it was as close to Love At First Sight as it can get.Dr. Rand is an amazing dentist. First off he cares, and if he doesnt he is one heck of an actor and should quit dentistry and move to Hollywood. He takes time to make sure you get what you want. I had a dental implant that was done 10 years ago. I had never put a permanent crown on it, and after gaining some trust with Dr. Rand I mentioned that I would like to start this process. As he began the process he was not comfortable with loading down my implant without an opinion of a perio. Fun fact, the perio who did my implant was still in town and he was able to get ahold of her. After an appointment with her they both gave the recommendation not to load down the current implant. Why waste $1000s of dollars for my permanent crown, and have it fail in a few years? (TOTALLY MY FAULT FOR THE FIRST FAILURE) Needless to say thats when things got complicated! I had my old implant removed (by my perio), bone graft, and new implant placed (4 months later). What does a general dentist have to do with my implant you ask? A lot actually! Due to all of this happening while I was moving halfway across the country my treatment plan needed to be coordinated and differ a little bit from the Norm. Dr. Rand worked after hours with my perio (Who also got a killer review) on my treatment plan from start to finish. I have never seen two doctors from separate offices work, and communicate like this EVER! From pre-surgery, to surgery, to post surgery everything has worked seamlessly! Did I mention that I dont even live in Denver anymore? Thats right I travel back because of the trust I had in my dentists performing this treatment. I will also continue to travel back for all of my treatments and finishing this one. About 10 days after my implant surgery, and not being in Denver I was feeling some looseness in my healing abutment and temporary crown. I called Dr. Rand explained to him over the phone of what was taking place, and he explained what the potential problems could be. Instead of having me travel back he called a dentist in the area I am at that he knew to take a look at me. I must say good dentists must know good dentists because who he sent me to was wonderful to work with (he will also be getting an amazing review). The problem was exactly what Dr. Rand had mentioned and it was taken care of. For him to personally check in on me, and ensure that everything was getting taken care of (after hours) is what I consider above and beyond. I have worked with Dr. Rand the most (hence why I have talked about him), and I am not trying to take anything away from Dr. Goral. The few times I have seen Dr. Goral (when Dr. Rand was out of the office) he has been great as well. I honestly would feel comfortable with either dentist.Enough about dentists lets talk about the office staff and the ladies in the back! You cant get a better office staff then what they have! From the ladies in the front always working to get me treatment plan estimates, scheduling, etc. They always have a smile on, and give you a warm welcome (even with a mask these days). The dental assistants and hygienists In the back are just as good. They truly listen, care, and are amazing. I might add I have never once had a bad experience in this office. I think it might be time Dr. Rand and Dr. Goral look at some good raises or bonuses for these ladies (Yall can thank me later).

I just went there for the first time since moving to the area. I was so impressed with out organized and clean the office was. Everyone was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I had my teeth cleaned by a very knowledgeable hygienist. The dentist I saw was great! He expressed concerns without trying to sell me on a procedure or product. I seriously enjoyed my visit there!Update: I just took my 1year old who has 12 teeth in for a happy visit and couldnt have been more pleased. They all worked hard to make her feel comfortable, played games and gave her things to look at and play with. They treated her so well! Seriously cant say enough good things about this place!

I have been seeing the dentists and hygienists at Ken Caryl Dental Center for over three years. I am always pleased with the compassion and quality of my care. I had a filling that was still hitting weird after a couple of adjustments. They kept working with me until it was absolutely right. I recently took my three-year-old daughter for her first dental visit. They were excellent with explaining everything to her, and very gentle with her. She has been asking when well go back again! Highly recommended.

After retiring from the military, I was pretty much through ever wanting to deal with dentists again. It took several years before I figured out that dental insurance would be necessary.My wife discovered Ken Caryl Dental Center near her workplace and that it was available through our insurance . She has had crowns and implants performed with no problems and was impressed with their friendliness and their professionalism. Still, I persisted in not scheduling in even for a new patient visit.That changed two days into the COVID-19 restrictions, when I broke a molar. Unfortunately, appointments at that time were only available for new patients on an emergency basis. Having no pain, KCDC told me that they would schedule me in once the restrictions were relaxed.True to their word, I was contacted the first day that restrictions were lifted and my first appointment was scheduled for last week. I met with Dr. Rand one week ago today and was able to get X-rays and have repairs performed to three teeth on the right side of my mouth including the broken molar. The X-rays also revealed a cavity on one tooth and an abscessed wisdom tooth on the left side of my mouth and I was scheduled for two appointments fr this week. Today, I had an appointment with Raina, who did a deep cleaning of my upper teeth and the left side of my lower teeth. Tomorrow, I have an appointment for a filling and the removal of the abscessed tooth. In less than two weeks it would appear that over 15 years of dental issues will be resolved.Much of my previous avoidance of dentists was the result of negative pain management experience (I.e., not enough anesthesia or poorly administered anesthesia). Not so the case with KCDC—quite the opposite...Dr. Rand and Raina made these first two visits pain free and with no lingering effects. I wouldn’t say I’m completely looking forward to tomorrow’s appointment, but I’ll be going without the anxiety that I would have expected two weeks earlier.KCDC has been taking their COVID responsibilities and hygiene procedures seriously from checkin to checkout. Yet, courtesy and professionalism have been at the forefront of my experience. My appointments have been thorough and I’ve never felt like they’ve been rushed. The staff has been wonderful in every aspect. I would recommend KCDC to anyone with dental needs. They’re great!

This is the best dentist office I have ever been to. Everyone there is very nice, caring, and they get to know you on a personal level. I dont particularly enjoy having my teeth worked on, but the dentists and assistants here are superb at what they do and Im not near as squeamish as I used to be. What a great experience from beginning to end! Im so thankful I was able to get an appointment on short notice for a minor dental emergency. Dr. Rand and his assistant (Michaela) gave me top notch, personal treatment. Dr. Rand even called me later that evening to make sure my bite was good and to let me know I could get right back in if any adjustments were needed. The dentists are nice and competent, but some of the front desk staff arent. They dont know what theyre doing and are full of their own self-importance.

Dr. Rand has earned a new patient. I had a crown pop off at 5:30p on a Friday evening. All dentists offices were closed and emergency numbers given just rang and rang. When I called the emergency number for Ken Caryl Dental Center, Dr. Rand answered the call and when told my situation, offered to meet me at his office early the next morning (normally closed on weekends) to replace the crown. He was understanding of my anxiety issues and talked me through the whole process. He took the time to make sure the crown was back on securely and the fit was just right. I definitely appreciated him adjusting his schedule and getting my crown back in place while keeping my anxiety low. I’ve already scheduled an appointment to go back for a check up and cleaning based on this experience.

Dr. Goral is the only dentist I would trust with major restoration such as dental implants and general high quality care for difficult cases. His problem solving skills are much appreciated. Jammi is always fantastic, Becky has been instrumental in helping with insurance and billing questions, and Amanda has the best attitude as she greets you when you walk in. Another perk is my wonderful dental hygienist, Cheryl, who makes those tedious twice yearly cleanings breeze right by! Also, Dr. Rand has the best bedside manner and is very calming and good at what he does. He is clearly focused on the comfort level of his patients, and he always ensures that they understand their options. The expertise and talented staff make all the difference to me, and you cant go wrong with this office. My husband and I are so glad we found Ken Caryl Dental several years ago. I cant imagine going anywhere else.Top notch practice - I highly recommend!

Ive had dental work done by both Dr. Goral, and Dr. Rand and Ive never experienced a lighter touch before. Absolutely no pain felt on any occasion.They both explain the issues at hand in a very simple manner, then walk you through the work theyre performing in a calm and soothing tone that sets the stage for a painless and stressless experience.They also offer a very convenient mini insurance plan if your health care package doesnt include dental coverage.It doesnt hurt that all the girls in there are really hot!All considered the Ken Caryl Dental Center offers an experience that definitely stands out.Highly recommended.

Dr. Goral is an amazing dentist and we trust him completely. Weve been going to him for 14-15 years and stay with him no matter where in the Denver metro area we move to. Dr. Gorals dental hygienists are well-trained, have careful hands, and are fun to talk/mumble to (notably Kim and Jamie). An exceptional dentist is difficult to find and the search can be nerve-wracking. Look no more.

Our family has been going to Ken Caryl Dental for probably 15 years and can not say enough about the quality of care, competency, and friendliness of the staff, from the receptionist to the financial manager, to all of the assistants and of course Dr. Goral who is a without a doubt a top tier dentist. The new dentist who has recently joined his practice promises to deliver the same standard of care, and is very approachable and pleasant. The preventative care is extraordinary; my two young adult children still have no cavities and I have had excellent care of dental issues that have come up through the years. Dr. Goral is very conservative, meaning he does not advise work that is not needed, which we appreciate very much. He has done some cosmetic work for me and is extremely gifted in his ability to enhance ones smile. Everyone in our family gives Ken Caryl Dental an unqualified excellent recommendation!

They have done a fabulous job cleaning my teeth and even though I was told I needed a crown at another office years ago Dr. Goral confirmed that I didnt. As a former hockey goalie with questionable dental care during my childhood, almost all of my previous dentists knew they struck gold when I first rolled into their practices. Imagine my pleasant surprise when Dr. Goral didnt want to replace all my old fillings or crown half of my molars despite my fantastic dental insurance.Besides Dr. Goral and Dr. Rant, the entire staff is great. Despite only going in twice a year for cleanings, my hygienist and I pick right up on our conversations about my travel, crazy races or funky necklaces like I had just been there last week. The booking and billing process is really easy every time I call. And they never mention the fact that I am chronically five minutes late due to never getting out of work quite on time. :)

I can honestly say that Dr. Goral is one of, if not the best cosmetic dentist in Colorado. My verneers look incredible. As a perfectionist, I wouldnt go see anyone else for cosmetic work.

I first met with Dr. Goral to get my permanent filling for a root canal. Dr. Goral did an amazing job with the filling, matching my tooth color so well I cant tell there was a filling! I then scheduled my cleaning and yearly checkup - which I just had completed yesterday. Laurie did an amazing job with my cleaning! She was very gentle and my teeth are now whiter than Ive ever had from a cleaning! Next I met with Dr. Rand to review my x-rays. I have had an issue for several years now that Dr. Rand was able to diagnose when other Dentists and Endodontists couldnt be bothered to take the time and be thorough enough to find the cause of my pain! Both visits have been extremely pleasant and I am happy to have a found great dental care.

Ken Caryl Dental Center ReviewI have been going to the Ken Caryl Dental Center since 1982. At that time the practice was run by Dr. Paul Motzkus. I always had excellent care under Dr. Motzkus and his staff. Several years ago Dr. Motzkus, in preparation for retirement, brought Dr. Alan Goral into the practice. When Dr. Motzkus retired Dr. Goral took over the practice. At first I was a little hesitant to be treated by Dr. Goral. As time went on I became very comfortable with Dr. Goral. He and his staff are very professional, knowledgeable, competent and courteous. Dr. Goral has replaced many of my fillings and crowns and he has installed two implants. All of his work has been done in an exemplary and caring manner.Jamie is one of Dr. Goral’s assistants. When she has been present assisting Dr. Goral, I see how she anticipates his needs. She always has the right instruments and materials available before he asks for them. She is a very easy going, comforting person who helps one relax while undergoing a dental procedure.Karen is the hygienist who cleans my teeth and councils me on the best ways to maintain my oral health. She has been my hygienist for several years and I would not want anyone else. She is very thorough in her treatment of me while causing little discomfort. I just had a filling today and I literally didnt feel a thing--I almost fell asleep a couple of times! Im truly in awe of their skill and cant recommend Dr. Goral enough!
