Wonderful experience as first time parents getting our baby’s lip and tongue tie corrected. They are so welcoming and kind. They explain every single step before they do it, they explain it more than once and make sure you’re okay with it and make sure you know what’s happening or going to happen. They check on you multiple times to make sure you’re doing okay. They are quick and efficient. Will give you personal phone number to contact if you have any concerns, at any time of day. After check up a week later they still insist on contacting them (even with personal phone number) if you ever have any concerns, even a few years down the road. They knew what they were doing, seemed really knowledgeable and well trained. Only other place I have seen with such good reviews is in Omaha, which was an hour farther away for us. And I love that especially with infants they try to get you in ASAP. The first place we called (in Omaha) couldn’t get us in for another week, and Floss got us in the NEXT DAY. With a baby with a lip/tongue tie it was important to get in ASAP as baby struggled to eat properly. So thankful for Floss Family Dental and Surgical Center!

I had an amazingly positive experience with IV Sedation here at Floss Family Dental. I needed two silver amalgams replaced + a cavity filled. I opted for IV Sedation due to my extreme anxiety when it comes to getting the numbing shot and drilling. I was not out as much as I expected to be, but it was still a very positive experience. I was aware of most of what was going on. (Vs when I had my wisdom teeth out, I was completely unaware.)Dr. McConnell did a great job on the fillings and with the sedation. Over an hour felt like a lot less, and I also didnt even feel the numbing shot! I do appreciate that he gave me breaks since I was still a bit anxious! If youre reading this, thanks so much! I do wish I was less nervous towards the beginning + end of the procedure, as there was really nothing to be so nervous about. However, I think this is the first ever truly positive dental filling experience Ive had, and it will go a long way to helping with my fear.He is also extremely fast and accurate with the fillings. I would recommend him to anyone! He answered all my questions and added a bit of humor to calm me down as well.His assistant was extremely kind and comforting, and helped distract me by telling about herself and her family. I am sorry for not remembering her name, but she was amazing and one of the best assistants Ive ever had!IV Sedation at Floss Family Dental is very safe, you are in good hands with nothing to worry about, and they will answer all of your questions. You will also have your oxygen and blood pressure monitored for safety.

I had a great experience at Floss Dentistry when getting my crown. Nobody has fun getting prepped for a crown, but these guys made me as comfortable as possible! I have been so impressed with all the staff at Floss. They have all been kind, warm, and welcoming. They are good communicators and are easy to work with. I recently had a tongue-tie release and was so pleased with both the experience itself and the success of the operation. Dr. Villafane and Kelly both helped make me feel comfortable when I was extremely anxious. They talked me through the procedure and what to expect as it was happening. Kelly often placed her hand on my hands or shoulder to reassure me during moments when I felt nervous or scared. I felt well cared for before, during, and after the surgery. They have made it easy to ask questions and contact them with concerns I may have had post-op. Thank you so much for all your help and care. I loved our experience with Dr.Villafane and his staff. I have worried about my daughter breathing and her speech since she was about a year old, thanks to Dr.Villafane we discovered she had a tongue tie. I wa given a wonderful explanation of what the procedure was and how therapy would help get her prepared. I was worried about her doing all this since she has sensory issues and stresses out easily. They worked with her and she had no issues! They helped walk me through everything and made sure I had a way to reach them if I had questions. Since we had this done in February my daughter has slept better and everyone can understand her so much easier. I only wish we would have discovered the tongue tie earlier and came to them earlier! Would recommend them 100%!

Absolutely the BEST pain and fear free dental experience ever! I am a bleeding risk due to blood disease and Dr Villafane knew just how to handle an extraction with no problems. All the clinics I called would not help me because of my illness and chance of complications but a simple infection could be deadly for me. Dr V was outstanding! I am just fine and now know I have an excellent dentist from here on. Thank you so much! Loved your beautiful office and terrific staff also

We are so happy with how my son’s oral surgery went with Dr. Justin at Floss Family Dental and Surgical Center. He is skilled at what he does, and he has the latest equipment to make healing easier. Dr. Justin was personable and related well to my son. He talked through everything that he was doing and checked with us afterwards to make sure he was healing well.

We had a wonderful experience with Dr. Villafane. My 8 week old had her tongue and lip ties revised and it made a world of difference for her comfort levels and gave her the ability to nurse more efficiently. Dr. Villafane took the time to walk me through the process every step of the way. I felt very comfortable trusting him with my baby (and newborn moms probably know how hard it is to do that). He checked in with us multiple times after the procedure and was always willing to answer any questions I had. He was extremely caring, thorough, and kind. I also took my two year old in to get her chipped tooth checked out and he was wonderful with her. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Villafane and his office!

I had issues in the past were other dentists were ether to busy to work with my schedule or would get me in the chair and out to be on to the next patient. It is not that way at all at Floss. This has held up years later and I can confidently say that theres no one I would trust more with my dental health than these guys. Likely the best dental practice in town.

They squeezed me in same day to help with an emergency appointment and were very helpful and kind. They know what they are doing and did not do a rush job and treated me with the same care someone would get that had scheduled 6 months prior. I can not think of anything they could improve on. What an experience! I went from embarassed of my smile to excited for the hope of a beautiful new smile and healthy teeth. I did everything I could to avoid the humiliation I thought I would face if I went to the dentist. But, I couldnt wait any longer. I was in pain from a tooth infection. I decided to face my fears and called Floss Dental. I was already familiar with the staff. My kids have been seeing Dr. McConnell for a couple years and they really like him. Once I heard Kims kind and caring voice over the phone, I was relieved that I called. They were able to fit me in that day. Bailey, their dental assistant is very understanding. She works well with Dr. McConnell to complete each procedure. And, Dr. McConnell is amazing. He made me feel so comfortable, even with my extreme dental situation. We came up with a plan and he is excited to give me the beautiful smile I have never had. This is a dentist and dental team who are truly passionate about helping people have healthy smiles.

I was very impressed with Floss dentistry. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. My son needed to have a couple teeth extracted and he was apprehensive about the procedure. Dr. Villafane helped ease his anxiety by explaining everything and related very well to him on a personal level. Afterwards, my son was surprised at how painless and quick the procedure was. It ended up not being a big deal like he thought it would be. He also had his teeth cleaned and Carrie was awesome as well. She was very friendly and went the extra mile by giving him tips on keeping his teeth clean after he gets braces. Really appreciate the thoroughness of care!

My husband and I started going to FLOSS Family Dental after we moved to Lincoln almost three years ago. We have been extremely pleased with the service and attention weve received. When I was 5 to 17 I went to a monster of an orthodontist who was just a monster and many of you from Seward had the same horrid experience. I have been terrified to go to dentist since. The few times I had no choice it would take many times making and canceling appointments. And when I did go jeff had to be with me. I would cry uncontrollably thinking of sitting in that dentist chairs and the memories that would take over. I’ve never put this in writing and only my closest friends knew but since I didn’t go to dentist I have a lot of work that needs to be done. My most amazing daughter-in-law Linsey recommended Nathan Mcconnell at Floss Family Dental. After my first visit I felt comfortable making my next appointment. Jeff did go with but didn’t have to go into the room with me, I didn’t cry just thinking about sitting in that chair and my mind and soul made it through. We started going to FLOSS because it is close to home and work. Not only is it a gorgeous office, but the staff is fantastic! Kim is a friendly face when you walk in the door & it continues as soon as you get back into the exam chair. I saw Dr. V and he went above and beyond. I have one spot in particular that I always wondered what was wrong, and he gave me the answer that no others have before. If you are on the hunt for a new dentist, this office is it!

After traveling and living all over the country for the past 25 years, Ive had my fair share of dentists. After moving to Lincoln, I was lucky enough to find Floss Dental near my home. The only word I can use is INCREDIBLE! The office feels like walking into a modern spa. The staff is always knowledgeable, curtious, and friendly. ( hot coffe, tea, cocoa, and water await you if you need it in tbe lobby. Kim is always ready to deal with your insurance company for you and they are always up front and honest with their billing and costs. Then there are the dentists. Hands down the best, most gentle and communicative weve ever had. Tvs and netflix are even available above the chairs to entertain children and adults if wanted/ needed. From cleanings, to caps, crowns, implants, wisdom teeth, invisalign, fillings, its the one stop shop for us.
