First visit to Dr. Shah at Hillcrest Dental…I have found my dentist. The Doctor and the staff were efficient and fast, but overall friendly and extremely professional. The wait was brief and the exam was quick but thorough. So glad I found this office! They were also very good at explaining my insurance coverage and extremely transparent on the cost. Can’t say enough about my experience.

My family has been with Hillcrest dental for the last three years and we love it and recommend to anyone in the Carrollton/Coppell/Lewisville area.It is in a great location near Castle Hills and the ability to book Saturday appointments is really convenient. The office has fit us in during the week when my child had a dental issue which I am so grateful for!Dr. Shah and her staff are knowledgeable, friendly, professional and the office is very clean.The COVID protocol was very thorough and I have felt comfortable maintaining my regular cleaning schedule during the pandemic.

Dr. Shah and her staff prioritize your comfort. When the numbing gel wasnt sufficient for my deep cleaning, Dr. Shah gave me a few injections of novocaine. She has a gentle touch and the injections werent painful. After that, the deep cleaning was a breeze. The TVs on the ceiling are a nice touch as well. Going to the dentist is never a joy, but its the best experience it can be at Hillcrest Dental.

Dr. Shah is one of the best. I have been to several dentists in the Carrollton area and finally found the best dentist in the town. She is knowledgeable, informative,upfront and gentle with my teeth. She is doing awesome job . Thank you Dr.Shah!

I just started going to hillcrest dental 6 months ago. I had a couple spots that were bothering me and they fit me in that day to fix after initial screening. I had told them that I was having a lot of headaches and she suggested a mouth guard because my jaw was so tight that I was most likely clinching at night. I was like okay I’ll give it a try and most of my headaches are gone. The guard made a HUGE difference on a problem that I didn’t even know I had. She was helpful and sweet. Cannot recommend this place more!! Absolutely love everyone there.

Everyone there, from front office staff to hygienist to the dentist herself, is superb. From the COVID precautions they take to keep everyone safe, to the friendliness with which you are treated, to the professional quality work they do, the expectations are always met. Everyone there is happy to answer questions and help you any way they can. You just feel taken care of. The facility is nice as well. In over 5 years, I have never had a negative experience.

I have to admit that Dr. Shah is a breath of fresh air -- compassionate, excellent chair-side manners, and most importantly ethical. Using the X-rays on a LCD screen, she explained in great detail what was the current situation of my dental hygiene, what required immediate attention, and what can be set to wait and watch during the next follow-up. Its pretty evident that she puts the patient first before profits! Her dental staff is top notch and super efficient -- I was in and out in less than an hour and that involved filling up new patient forms! She will be my dentist moving forward, and will be recommending her office to my family and friends.

I’ll start first by saying that I have terrible anxiety when it comes to the dentist. I am normally sedated for every procedure because of this...no need for it at Hillcrest Dental. Hillcrest Dental is by far the best dentist that I have ever visited. They really go about and beyond to ensure my comfort. They explain every procedure thoroughly to make sure I know the work that is being done. My forever dentist.

First time and it was awesome. Front desk is very nice and I really appreciate Dr. Shah getting me out on time for a last minute appointment I had somewhere else. She was also able to explain why I was having tooth pains when other dentists couldn’t. Super awesome experience.

What a great experience at the dentist! Dr. Namrata Shah and her team were amazing. I had to have a crown done and thankfully they were able to do it on the same day. Dr. Shah and her team explained the process to me and throughout the procedure checked on me. I have never had a dentist more honest, caring and patient. The crown was pain free!! The doctor and her staff are extremely knowledgeable and skilled. The office was warm, inviting and had large TVs on the ceiling for your comfort. I loved coming here. I needed a deep cleaning and she took me right away and was able to clean my teeth the same day and the pain I came in with from my gums I did not leave with and it was an amazing relief. Dr. Shah is very knowledgeable and thorough, as well as kind and a good listener. In my case, she presented various treatment options for me and explained benefits and cost of each. One solution we discussed was not within my budget, but we found a remedy that would work well, and that I can afford. She does not push the most expensive treatment. First off, the building itself is so nice and clean. Second, the staff here is wonderful! From the front desk, to the hygienist, to the dentist herself. I have now lived in Dallas area for 26 years. Been to probably five or six dentist. Some so called stars, etc. I can tell you that this place is the best!! Namrata and her team are professional and fun! I stumbled across them because of an urgent tooth issue and have NEVER looked back! Never have to wait, office is spotless and the staff actually cares!!! Dont see that in many dentists office now a days!!

Dr. Namrata Shah is amazing at what she does. She Explained the issues with my teeth in detail and what treatment plan she recommends. She allowed me to ask all my questions and answered them thoroughly. After the treatment, she made sure that I was happy with the work done and responded to all my questions again. She took her time and made sure that treatment was done perfectly. If you have any issues with your teeth or even if you just need regular cleaning, I would highly recommend her. She is very kind and really knows what she is doing.

I just moved to the area and was looking for a new Dentist - Hillcreast Dental did not disappoint! The office is clean with a lot of new equipment (which is nice). They have a TV in the room so you can watch TV while getting your cleaning. They also had me complete all the paperwork electronically on a tablet when I checked in. This office is definitely top notch. And the doctor was thorough, patient, knowledgeable and answered all of my questions!! 5 Stars!

I am sorry to leave a poor review. However, I was made to feel “shamed” by the dentist here. Apparently she felt I hadn’t taken good enough care of my teeth as an adult. Not even an explanation helped. I was simply told to leave and they could not help me (after they maxed my dental insurance for the year). I appreciate the referral to a skilled dentist that was provided. Unfortunately, the dentist here cared nothing about history nor income, I was simply shamed out of the office.

I would like to thank Dr. Shah for making a decent crown to match the exact color of my front tooth. One of my front teeth broke when I was a kid. I have been to two different dentists in NY and the quotes they offered me were damn high. Meanwhile, my friend from Dallas, Texas who was visiting me told me about this clinic. He was really happy with the work they did on his teeth, so I decided to give it a shot by flying to Dallas from New York. Before that I talked to Dr. Shah over phone and she was really nice in explaining me the procedure explicitly which made me even more comfortable. I received a quote which was reasonable and my appointment was scheduled for Saturday (best part). The front desk employees handled all my questions and made it easy to reach them by email.-HS

Only visited one time at this place. I felt that the doctor was only money focussed than treating with your concern (pain). My wife also went there with serious pain based on this high review. Again, money focused talk. Took xrays and never mentioned about the infection and pain treatment until she went somewhere else. Also, they don’t release your documents (even with signed consent) until you pay some fees. Will not recommend this place to anyone.

Had an emergency on a weekend, they took me in even though it was almost closing time and took great care of me. Very friendly staff. Highly recommend this place.
