Gorgeous lobby, very clean, professional and stylish. Dr. Cortes is so kind, smart, patient and helpful. Other than running 15mins behind (what dr. Doesnt?!) I had zero complaints. They offer so many services. I couldnt begin to list them all.

The first thing that dr. Gil Cortes told me and taught me is that a healthy, glowing complexion is a work in progress and it takes time and dedication. It is not a procedure you do once and the results last forever, it is something that you always pay attention too. I followed all his instructions about skincare and also did the procedures he recommended. Now I’m three months after and my face is just unbelievable fresh and rejuvenated. I look at least 5 years younger, maybe more.

It is very rare nowadays for doctors to really care about their patients. I mean they do prescribe treatments and all, but caring? No, this is definitely not the norm. And you can tell this by the way the barely listen to the patient talk. I had the pleasure of meeting a special doctor, dr. Gil Cortes from NOVU in Lady Lake. He is the kindest doctor I’ve ever met, so talented and modest and a real role model. Highly recommended!

I heard a lot of things about the E Matrix and it was good and bad. I think this is why it took me so long to finally schedule a consultation. Anyway, the thing is that if you find a good and honest dermatologist and just follow his recommendations, things are just much more easier. At least this was my experience. I can’t believe I’m finally writing a review online! I never thought I’d do this, but I want to talk about my experience at NOVU with doctor Gil Cortes! I went in with my son to check a mole and it turns out it’s skin cancer. We had it removed and now you can barely see the sign. Dr. Gil Cortes is so talented and his surgical skills are just amazing. Not to mention that he treated my son like royalty with so much care! We couldn’t have asked for me, thank you dr. Cortes!

His work ethic is impressive and he is among the best in the country in detecting and treating skin cancers. I went to see him for a mole, turned out to be melanoma. Now I’m ok thanks to dr. Gil Cortes and keeping an eye on things. I have appointments scheduled with him regularly, just to keep on the safe side. I was blessed with the best doctor in the world here at NOVU!

Last year I was diagnosed with skin cancer – melanoma by dr. Gil Cortes at NOVU Dermatology. It was a big shock and it certainly changed my life. I had to make difficult decisions and to start looking at life differently. But in the end, brought a different perspective, for which I’m grateful. I’m also grateful for the support and kindness of all the medical staff at dr. Gil Cortes’s clinic, NOVU. From the receptionist, to the nurses and the doctors, they were all amazing people who encouraged me and gave me hope. Now I feel better and I will continue seeing dr. Gil Cortes.
