The reception staff were friendly and helpful. PA Beach and her assistant were professional and comforting. They always make you feel relaxed and at ease.I have and will continue to recommend Advanced Dertimology and PA Beach.

My experience with this group was amazing!!! Very caring competent staff. I recently had a difficult mors surgery and they did a beautiful job and not even going to have a scar. I highly recommend advanced dermatology, you guys are awesome 😊

My first visit last week. Staff was nice and friendly. Dr Beach seemed very nice. Now I’m not so sure after trying to reach them to ask questions about my medication she prescribed. No one returns your calls!! I left 3 messages! One with nurse line one with front desk line and one with staff line!! You can’t get a live person to answer the phone. The only way is to select schedule an apt prompt however you can tell this is scheduling service. They are not the actual location where you’re seen.First time patient I’m now not impressed at all!!!!! Way to busy to take the time to call you back!! I have a concern about the medication I was given and no one will call me back!!! That’s not good!Read the other reviews about no one calling you back. I’m not the only one! I’ll be looking for another Dermo Dr!!

I have used this Practice for 4years now , the staff is always great. The location is perfect . This is a very busy location and yes, sometimes you will feel rushed but that doesnt mean we are getting a substandard service . The Doctors , PN, and staff are always willing to take extra time to answer questions so ask them you are the patient. Please dont be pushed away from this business because of some of the reviews you read . I highly recommend this practice try them . A great group Of professionals ..

Advanced Dermatology is very careful about coronavirus concerns. They have appointments spaced carefully and are on time. Dr. Garcia-Cardona is great: friendly and very capable.

I was very disappoint with my appointment. I saw the nurse practitioner, she didnt seem interested in what I had to say. I was given information to share from my Rheumatology and she could have cared less. It has been 2 wks and I still dont have a script for my very painful fingers, nor have I received a call. They also sent ALL my medical records to the wrong insurance company! When I called and spoke with the office manager she apologized and she would get back with me. After a week and several messages, I finally received a call back. Therefore, I do not recommend this office!

I really appreciate Dr. Garcia Cardona and Dr. Spencer. Dr. Cardona is very good at evaluating your skin for skin cancer. She stated to make sure your suntan lotion has zinc oxide in it to protect your skin from the sun.

Dr Beach has a good eye for skin problems. I feel confident that shell find any skin problem I have.

Being there for the first time, I felt the complete body exam was extremely fast. I am going back for treatment, praying it works. The staff was very nice.

The Physician at the Largo location (although cordial and professional) was rushed, and made the skin cancer screening feel non-thorough, and superficial. I left feeling like she could have missed something compared to the screenings I get in Orlando at Sandlake Dermatology.She did not check my scalp, and proceeded to quickly scanned over my entire body filled with beauty marks, moles, and freckles. My advice wouldbe to take more time, show more compassion and empathy for patients. Other than that the staff was nice and the office was well prepared. I’d recommend a different physician who will take time to ensure you do not have skin cancer.

Dr. Cardona provides a very thorough full body exam. I am at a higher risk of skin cancer as I have very fair skin and spent a lot of time in the sun as a child and young adult. I feel confident that any areas of concern will be detected during the exam and treated accordingly.

My appointment was on time but there were far too many people on the waiting room. Some people on their own just went to stand in the hallway. Also, I had a biopsy more than two weeks ago. I called in to get the results. I left a message for the nurse. So far, I have not heard back.

I was impressed with Advanced Dermatology while there for a mole removal. The staff were courteous and caring. Check in was easy and quick. All persons in the waiting area and staff wore masks and safe distanced. Hand sanitizer was also available. If I should have another issue I will definitely go to them.

The ease of the appointment schedule and the flexibility to get an appointment in one day due to medical emergency.The staff members are so nice and professional. The medical care and the diagnosis were accurate and the prescribed medication worked like wonders after so many previous prescriptions from other doctors that did not. Also the provider well explained the condition and answered all the question confidently. Would recommend this office.

I was very disappointed in my visit to the office. I felt like my concerns were dismissed and didn’t receive a thorough exam despite my familial history. When it came to checking out and filling my prescription, I was t given the time of day and my questions weren’t answered. I will not be returning and will be searching for a second opinion on my exam.

This office is extremely bad in returning phone calls and getting back to patients with scheduling.

After being seen by the PA , she ordered medication for roses a which was not covered by insurance. Unable to spend $500 , I asked for a substitute to be called in to the pharmacy. A week later and repeated calls to the office were ignored by her. A very frustrating experience. I would not recommend this practice.

No one ever calls you back. Called and left messages for the nurse to call back nothing. Calling after hours to leave a message forget it you can’t even leave a message the recording just plays over and over. We will be finding a new dermatologist. Terrible customer service.

This was a first visit to establish Dr / patient relationship as a new Florida resident. The office was easy to find, the office staff was polite, the P.A. was considerate and seemed competent; and my only skin concern was adequately addressed. I was told to come back in a year.

Was able to get an appointment within a week or so. They had good practices in place for Covid. I didnt have to wait long after my appointment time, but did once in the room the first time I was there. Dr. Garcia was friendly enough and seemed to know what she was doing. But the only thing with all Dermatologists is that they dont always know what your problem is. So the pills and creams didnt treat my condition, I had to end up seeing an Allergist. Though I reconfirmed my pharmacy, Staff called in my prescription to the wrong place. Even after repeated calls leaving messages, it was 24 hours before I could get it. In the meantime suffered with the chronic burning and itching from the hives.

Very satisfied with treatment

Theres always been a wait at this office. But the doctor I see has been great and thorough, so Ive put up with the wait. This time I had an appointment not long after they opened. The waiting room was completely full, except for one chair. After waiting there, I was taken to a pre-waiting room where I was placed until a room was opened. Once one was, I was taken to a third place and told the doctor would be right in. I waited and waited.When the doctor did come in, it was clear she was in a rush. Ive had my skin check ups with this doctor before. She usually checks me once in the chair and once while standing up, in a different light. This time I would say she spent about 1/2 the time with me, and did not give a thorough exam. The kicker was when she said to me that I looked good and if I wanted to come back in a year instead of six months. I have three serious skin conditions (one of which required me to be hospitalized) and a family history of skin cancer. There is a reason I need to go twice a year. I felt the only reason I was asked to come in once a year was because the office wants to have more patients come through the office (and therefore more money). Im now looking for another dermatologist, to redo my skin check and so that I dont have to return to the office.

I have been going to Dr.Garcia for years, she helped me so much to clear up my acne, but the downsides, expect to wait 30-an hour to get in for your appt and they will spend a whole 2 minutes with you.Most recently went and not to my knowledge i was greeted and treated by another PA in office which i have never had before, and though she was nice, she did not care to listen to my concerns of my prescriptions and what they gave me last time didn’t work too well with my sensitive skin and yet she still put in a prescription refill for it, causing a bog hassle on my part of multiple times calling the office and the nurses are nice but can get sassy.To my offense I wouldn’t have a problem if i got my correct Dr. and was listened to and not rushed out the door so i can pay my 50$ off to them and be frustrated about my prescriptions, I’ve yet to receive a week later.

As a new patient, I was quite impressed compared to past experiences at other dermatology practices. My wait time was very brief, as well as my appointment, but I felt that this was one of the most comprehensive cancer skin checks Ive ever had. Dr Beach was warm, professional & thorough. She examined my entire body from my hairline down to the soles of my feet, catching some spots needing treatment which I had missed. The staff at reception seemed a bit harassed and inattentive at first impression, and Dr Beachs assistant might have been a bit less aloof, but I did get a smile from her & everyone at the front desk on my way out. (Funny how much that matters, huh?) All in all, a good experience. I will return to this office for my annual skin check and highly recommend to others.

I’m giving you five stars - however…You seem to have rushed the solution to my problem and neglected to ease me into it which would’ve been better for me to be able to understand the reasons for the prognosis better.

Went to see Dr. to remove a melanoma. After she froze a few areas on my face, a nurse (?) gave me instructions on what to do aftercare. She was not very clear and I was hardly listening, as my face was in shock. I called several times to get clarification, only to NOT have my calls returned. When I finally spoke with a nurse, I received better instructions. However, after following procedure, my face started burning and several blotches appeared. Once again, I called and never received a call back. I will not use this office again.

Ill give a complete review once I get completed work.

From making appointments to the exam itself to the excellent Nurse and Nurse Practitioner this has been a delight to work with. Im grateful for a place that treats me with dignity and respect.

I really do not want to leave any star, but I guess there is no option. Horrible experience with the front desk. Several years ago I went there, but I had to leave since they kept me wait over hour to get to see the doctor. I gave it another chance this July, but I so wish I have not done that. Professional stuff was nice but the front desk will ask you to pay for the service even thou you have the insurance. Of course you do sing the paper that you are responsible for the payment, but even you provide them with the insurance card they will collect the money from you on the day of your visit. Every office I go to never collects for service that same day. They always bill the insurance company first. This office staff makes you feel like you are bad person if you trying to explain them that the insurance will pay. I had service on 07/21/16 and had to pay on that day. My insurance paid them on 7/26/16 and as of today 8/15/16 no credit back on my Credit Card that they charged. Two times I called the manager. I have provided my name, birth date and the phone number to reach me, but no calls back. Please do not go to this office! There is plenty more to choose from in this area. I will never go back there again.

My daughter is terrified of needles and the staff at Advanced Dermatology was so compassionate. They ordered a patch kit that would test the mole using a band-aid method instead of needles. What a relief. I recommend the Largo office to everyone.

Im a Veteran receiving treatment at Advanced Dermatology under the Veterans Mission program which allows Veterans to go off campus to non-va Doctors. Dr Steven Proper is the best MOS surgeon around having been instructed in person by the doctor who developed that process . The staff has always treated me in a friendly, courteous,and efficient manner.

Very thorough exam and professional. My questions were answered and I was impressed with the whole experience.

The office in Largo where the MOSE procedures are done kept at least a dozen people waiting for at least 4 hours to slice some Basel cancer out then that sample is sent to a next door lab .After a 2 hour wait ,they sliced some more cancer out , then after 2 more hours in the lab next door , they then said it was all gone and stitched me up and sent me home . I told them the pharmacy to send my antibiotic prescription to and they sent it to my primary by mistake . Delivery will be who knows when . Also everyone working as nurses are shipped in from Orlando and Deland and who knows where .This practice is so disorganized that I will not go back .This is a prime example of a business gone to big too fast and outsourcing their workers and surgeons .They Refuse to prescribe any pain medication , which is barbaric.This is inexcusable !

The building is beautiful and unfortunately that is the only good thing I have to say about it. I waited for an hour with a 2 year old before I had to get up and leave. Im a patient person and was early for my appointment but eventually my time has to be respected as well.

I made the appointment at the last minute, but there was no wait. The NP who saw me is very professional and skilled.

The doctors are great, front desk personnel are great, the rest of my experience is was not good. After my appointment I phoned in to get a copy of the detail bill to submit to my Flex account, the individual sounded like I was a problem to her. She said I had to come into the office to get the invoice...seriously it is not my fault you could not print it out when I asked the first time at the appointment. I asked for her to mail it or email it, with an indignant tone she replied How do I know I am speaking to the actual patient? I told her well then why dont you send it to the email or address you have on file for the actual patient! She refused and told me I had to pick it up in person!I requested a prescription to be called into my pharmacy, it was not a refill, same medicine in a different form. She transferred me to the auto refill line that asked for my prescription #. Again, I am not refilling the same EXACT script, it needs to be amended then filled try doing that on an automated line.I had to call three of their offices, go through voicemail hell to get a human to help me get through the process.

I had an appointment this morning with Caitlin Beach at the 8250 Bryan Dairy Rd location for a full body skin exam because I had a basal cell carcinoma removed from my upper back in September. She hit the sides of my face with a couple of blasts of liquid nitrogen to remove a little actinic keratosis (it took about 20 to 30 sec). She did not tell me there would be a charge and I assumed everything would be cover by insurance since I had already met my deductible for the year. When I checked out I was charged $100 for the cryotherapy. They had already overcharged me $80 for my previous visit. This is very poor business practice and I will likely not be going back! I will not be recommending the office to anyone and I will likely be telling my primary care physician that they should not be sending people to Advanced Dermatology.

I had an emergency and I was fit in even though I was a new patient. Everyone was friendly and professional. My problem was addressed and I was given a prescription that is helping. The doctor listened and checked me and answered my questions. She was very thorough and understanding.Above was my first appointment.Recently, I had a new problem and was given an appointment for the next day. I am being treated, so will require several appointments. Everyone was friendly, helpful and professional. Also, I wasnt kept wsiting.

Donalds first visit he was overlooked and waited 3 hrs for his first visit. The Dr came out looking for him or he would have waited longer. 2nd long wait....too many people scheduled for surgery and office visits that day. One Dr does surgery once a week. 3rd appointment no wait. It was an after surgery follow up. Satisfied with the results of the surgery.

Went just last week. Got in quickly and the care was excellent. Some of the reception staff could be a little more pleasant, but at least they were not rude.

I have been a patient for several years. After this most recent visit, I will not be coming back. The staff were rude, not at all focused on service; I felt they must have been fussed at and were taking it out on me. I was not asked to make a follow up appointment, even though my paperwork indicated it. I was so taken-back by the unprofessional staff; highly disappointed.

I didnt wait at all, didnt even get thru the computer check in. One of the ladies finished it for me. Everyone was knowledgeable, efficient, friendly and helpful. Dr. was great, all was quick and easy!
