I had a wonderful experience with Suncoast Skin Solutions. I had never been to a dermatologist before and was not sure what to expect. The practice was clean and the staff was friendly and competent. I was given choices about what parts of my body I wanted examined and felt like I was in control of the process the entire time, I never felt uncomfortable or pressured into any services. Dr. Ballard was courteous and professional and put me right at ease about my concerns. He was able to take a small mole off right there in the office, same day, painlessly and it was done with in less than a minute. Fantastic bedside manner. Luckily, all covered by my insurance with a small copay.If I ever have other needs or concerns about my skin, this is the place I will return to and will highly recommend.

Doctor Ballard was thorough in his full body scan. He was not in a hurry to complete the exam and was able to answer my questions. He gently took a biopsy of an area of concern. I would recommend this doctor.

Dr. Ballard & his staff are all so caring & knowledgeable! I went with a problem for which I had seen 2 prior dermatologists, obviously not great experiences but this was overwhelmingly positive! Waiting for path results, but Im confident that findings will be addressed correctly & completely!

The thing I appreciate most at Suncoast is that I never have to wait more than 5 minutes to see the doctor. And Dr Ballard is so thorough, so kind, and a great listener. Dr Ballard is fabulous. Super nice and really good. He removed a little cancer thing from my leg, and I never felt a thing. They have a convenient location and all of the staff is really nice.The only small complaint I have is that the text message appointment reminders come in too early. One woke me up Sunday morning at 7:45am!! So if you like to sleep in, dont get the text reminders.

When I visit DR Ballards ,and occasionally early ,they take you right away. Dr Ballard takes time with his patients and listens to your concerns..I had a surgery to remove a Basel cell cancer and Dr Ewanowski did the surgery..he was very thorough ,both Drs I would highly recommend..

Moved to FL two years ago and was pleased to find Dr Ballard. Making the initial appointment was easy and completing the forms on lined saved time at check in. The nurses were friendly and professional and asked if I had specific concerns. I had prepared a list of areas I wanted checked and also advice on how to take care of my skin in FL and while aging. When Dr Ballard entered he took time to check each area on my list offering a diagnosis and potential treatment. The doctor has a calming presence and clearly explained alternatives. I didn’t expect to find a dermatologist I felt more comfortable with than my prior doctor at Northwestern Medical Group in Chicago. However, following my first visit I think Dr Ballard is as good, if not better, in advising and caring for a patients skin care. Very glad to have found this dermatologist.

I like the doctors at Suncoast Skin Solutions, however, they habitually take me late. I often am left sitting for 30 to 45 minutes and I find this unacceptable. I left their patient roles once before and moved to another practice. They then bought that practice and it is now back to sitting and waiting. I would NOT recommend this practice to anyone.
