Ive been a patient of Dr. Todd Shettle for the past several years and wouldnt think of going anywhere else. All the staff, including Dr. Shettle, are very professional, knowledgeable, and CLEAN. They dont force you to buy anything you dont need and theyre very time efficient. My minor children and my parents are patients there as well. Try them out, you wont be disappointed!

Love the team at Shettle Vision! Always so polite and prompt! They are super helpful from when you call the office booking appointments, when giving the exams, and finding the right pair of glasses for you! They have a nice selection of premier glasses, but if you dont see something to your taste they will order it for you. I have been coming here for years and will continue to do so.

If you are looking for that small friendly eye center this is the place. The doctor is great and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The office is very clean and they wipe down every pair of glasses after youve tried them on.

Today was my first visit at Shettle Vision. I was very impressed with how friendly all the employees were. Dr Shettle was just as friendly as his staff I didn’t feel rushed through the appointment like I have at other offices. When my exam was finished I went to look new glasses which is something I dread. Thanks to the help of his staff I was able to find a pair just like my favorite sunglasses but with my prescription. I would highly recommend Shettle Vision.

Ive been going to Shettle Vision for years, back when they were located in the other building. The staff have always been friendly, even when I last-minute had to reschedule an appointment. The office always looks very clean and organized as well.

I have been going to Shettle vision for many years . Every visit over years have always been top notch service and the employees(Harry, Devon, Sandra) always act in a respectful and professional matter. The only thing is I feel they should offer additional discounts on frames etc....specially to the individuals who are paying out of pocket. Other then that I will continue to go to Shettle Vision for my eye exams because customer service is excellent.

The two times I have been to this office it has not gone well. The first time I asked for appts for my husband and I the same day but enough apart that we could tag team watching our baby and getting our appts done. They assured me would work out. They ended up calling both of us back at the same time so we had to bring our baby back with us and it was super stressful. The second appt I had I didnt feel heard about my eye concerns and everything felt very rushed. They talked about me in front of me as if I wasn’t there.. it felt weird. As a health professional myself, I am all about patient-centered care in a way that I don’t feel this office is. I am now looking for a new eye dr for my family and I.

Both, the exam I received and the look and feel of the office are very exceptional. They have a great selection of designer frames but they are a bit pricey in my opinion compared to other offers; I have Davis vision insurance and that didnt help things, they have very limited free frames to choose from and I ended up returning my first pair which was a big headache because of my insurance. It shouldnt be that way. Overall though, great doctor and exam and I would recommend this place as a great small business to get your exam at. They have all the newest toys and you feel like you are getting a next level experience.Update: 12/19/2019. Diana Shettle is amazing and after returning my eyewear for the 2nd time she stayed on hold with my insurance company to request a re-do for a new pair for 7 AND A HALF HOURS! Her commitment to making the customer happy is unbelievable. I cant thank her enough for making sure I was taken care of. She truly went above and beyond for me and I will never forget it. They have a customer for life now and I will recommend them to anyone.

Henry and Sandra are absolutely amazing!My appointment was at 830am 6/27/15 I was genuinely impressed with both the service and cleanliness of the office. Henry & Sandra were very inviting and very alert! I walked in super exhausted (Saturday morning) they immediately greeted me by NAME & offered me coffee and showed me to the receptionist desk I apologize but I cannot remember her name but she was inviting and very helpful while I was filling out my paperwork. Dr. Shettle was phenomenal very patient with me & to ensure that I understood the minor cupping in my eyes he pulled out an anatomical eye model physically showed me where it was and why I shouldnt worry now but I should get my eyes checked annually. After the exams I went to pick out my glasses thank goodness Henry & Sandra were there! I brought my boyfriend of 4 years who has never failed me when looking for glasses & well he failed me. I am a very picky individual and extremely impatient so when I cant find a pair I get very flustered and your team over at shuttle vision was so helpful every time I took a pair off I was presented with a different pair until Sandra found the game changer! & picked out the winning pair. Also, the glasses were in excellent condition there wasnt a dust bunny in sight! All the try on lenses were clean the glass & plastic displays were clean it was amazing! It was very difficult finding an optometrist that looked presentable and professional in the Largo area. My stepfather has actually been traveling to an office in St. Pete because of it. However, he should be giving you guys a call to schedule an appointment!! I will continue to RAVE about the AWESOME team at Shettle Vision! Thank you for your time have an excellent day :)

Love this place! Dr. Shettle is an EXCELLENT Optometrist. His staff is very friendly; and, he listens and takes into consideration if you want to dilate your eyes on the visit. When he does the yearly exam, he takes his time to ensure your eyes have great correction and clarity. The office is very clean and has a calming atmosphere. I would rate this doctor and his staff over 5 stars if I can. He greatly improved my vision and aided me with my Astigmatism. I even have great and comfortable contacts thanks to him. Oasis Torche for Astigmatism.

OUTSTANDING! They got my in without an appointment on a Friday afternoon. Diagnosed a torn retina then Dr Shettle called around himself trying to find a surgeon to see me that day. He also gave me his cell number in case something happened over the weekend before I could see the surgeon.No Doctor these day does that.

I have known Dr. Shettle for over 20 years and just cant say enough about his manner, professionalism and knowledge. Easy to talk to and great at explaining medical conditions and terms. Wonderful, Kinda and so helpful are just a few words i use to describe Shettle Vision. They got me in very quickly. I was very nervous but the doctor was amazing in calming me down and so efficient in finding the contacts that i need. All of the staff are so friendly. I am so glad that I came and tried out this place. I am a forever customer.

The staff and doctor are very nice and professional. The office environment is also pleasant. I chose to go back to Vision Works though because Shettles glasses are expensive, its difficult to get in to see the doctor, and I had to make more than the desired trips back just to get my daughter her contact lenses.

My fiancé went in on Saturday to get new glasses. He was a brand new customer and Bill did a great job and had them ready for him to pick up on Monday! Glasses look great and great customer service by far!! Thank you Bill!!!

Fast, friendly, professional! Everyone in the practice treats you like family. I dont think Ive waited longer than 1 minute to be seen by Dr. Shettle. Jose will make your eyeglass buying experience filled with laughs. They are honest and trustworthy!

Shettle Vision is a wonderful place to have your eye exam and get the neatest frames that are on the market. I have had my Gucci frames for 3 years now and I still get compliments on them. I go back occasionally to have adjustments made and the staff is very friendly. Try them out - you will be impressed!

Fantastic Office, Quality Service, All Professionals, Best General Care Eye Doctors

Dr. Shuttle and Staff are simply THE BEST! Honestly, I cant begin to say enough nice things about this group. Their positive, upbeat attitudes, their attention to detail, their resourcefulness... I could go on & on.You only get one set of eyes and they have to last a lifetime, so if you want to scrimp, buy your blue jeans at Walmart, but treat your eyes to first class with Shettle Vision!

First experience was GREAT! However, what they dont tell you is that - if your frames break, to the point you cannot wear them... and lets say, you have to have them to drive home, so you super glue the frames so the lenses dont fall out, well that null and voids the warranty. Something I feel should be disclosed when you purchase the glasses. Then you call them, and get told the frames are $250 and you have no coverage since you tried to fix them. I feel like this is a way for the them to get more money from you. I would NOT have done anything to fix my husbands glasses and I would have let him drive home blind if I would have known that. But again, NO UPFRONT INFO.

Dr. Shettle is a superb Optometrist who really listens to you and goes the extra mile to make sure your vision is as good as it can be. Been following him for over 10 years, through different locations. Currently in a very nice office with great staff. I would recommend Shettle Vision to anybody.

Each time I visited I was seen on time and was given outstanding care. When I had questions, I received answers in a timely manner from Dr. Shettle and other staff.

We called and they gave us an appt for the same day, then we went and the whole staff was very nice. It was not a long wait time at all to see the Dr. Then they were not pushy at all about buying glasses or contacts from them, just said to check there competitive prices out on there website. The guality of service and the quality of the products offered at Dr. Shettles office are very high. The staff is great and very easy to talk to. My mom went with me to an appointment and is now a patient of Dr. Shettle now as well. She said the the staff was so nice and remembered her name and she never felt like she was being rushed in and out.

Both, my husband and I needed new glasses, and both of us had rather unpleasant experiences. Both of us had to have the glasses re-done. The doctor was really nice - thats the only positive I can say.

I had my appointment back in late February and decided to get both glasses and contacts. My insurance only covers one of the other, of course, so I paid out of pocket for the glasses with the understanding that my insurance would be applied for the contacts. I received a phone call regarding the glasses and picked them up with no problem, at which time the contacts were placed on order. Heres the thing, I pretty much forgot about the contacts because I wear my glasses so frequently and still had my supply of pre-new prescription contacts. I finally realized that I hadnt been contacted in July and started thinking that maybe I had misunderstood and the contacts hadnt been ordered or my insurance applied. I contacted them via e-mail and was told my contacts were indeed in. The whole point of this story is, I was never contacted about the order being in, despite the fact that when I filled out my paperwork I had my personal cell phone number, my work phone number and e-mail address listed. The staff there are pleasant, but dont expect anyone to go out of their way to get you your prescription. Ill probably be taking my business elsewhere next year just so there are no other mishaps.

I have been seeing Dr. Todd Shettle for my vision care for about 10 years. I had been wearing glasses for 9 years prior to becoming Dr. Shettles patient. He takes the time to make sure that it is perfect by patiently double checking his findings. His staff is wonderful. Sandra not only remembers me year after year, but she knows just what frames look right on my face. I completely trust her judgement. I drive 40 minutes from St. Petersburg to Largo to go to Dr. Shettles office. The service and care I receive, and the superior vision correction I get, makes that drive more than worth it. I recommend Dr. Shettle to anyone who is looking for a superior optometrist.
