Going to This location is always a positive experience. My previous purchase of new glasses was 3 years ago. When I went in last week I recognized at least one of the technicians from 3 years ago. I was amazed and impressed. This must be a great place to work. I am on a strict budget and I was shown many options that fit what I can spend. I went back today to look into the purchase of prescription sunglasses. Expecting them to be another $300, I was pleasantly surprised to find frame options that ended up only costing $199. I was so happy with both purchases. Keep doing whatever you are doing at this location. Its working!!!!! Thank You.

I wish I could have given five stars but continually having to call up there to find out if they finally received my daughter’s glasses that should have taken no longer that two weeks, I won’t. The few times we called the store no one could give me a straight answer on what the issue is, other than they don’t have them and don’t know why. At least find out exactly what the issue is and tell us.

Everyone at the Largo Mall location was extremely helpful and courteous. I visited on 8/27 in order to request an insurance replacement for my Versace glasses, which unfortunately were made into a mangled chew toy by my puppy, and the two representatives who assisted me were very courteous, putting me at ease about the process and providing quick, efficient service. I probably spent no more than 10 minutes in the store and all of my concerns were addressed and objectives were met in a satisfactory manner. Thank you to the two employees who assisted me yesterday...it is because of experiences with great representatives like them that I will continue to do business with this LensCrafters location.

My nephew loves his sunglasses. We didn’t buy them at LensCrafters but they put in 2 new screws to fix them for him and they did not even charge us. Melissa is very kind, talented and extremely helpful. We will go there for any of our eyewear needs.

Ive never been to a lenscrafters before. I needed my glasses fixed. I was welcomed kindly as soon as I entered the building, which is under construction. This crew was working so hard , with such positive attitudes in an uncomfortable work environment. Sharon was so helpful, quick and kind. I took my mom to this location back in January of 21 to get a new pair of glasses as her old ones broke. We were greeted by the staff on the floor and they assisted her in picking out a pair of frames. The CJ and Sharon (the 2 who helped us) were nice and professional. We had some additional errands and they said it would be a few hours and would call us when the glasses were ready. The store called later that afternoon and we were able to get back and have my mom try on the glasses. She have been very pleased her glasses over the past few months.

I’ve been going to the Largo location for sometime now because it was close to my work. Ive recently changed job and am no longer working in Largo, but will continue to go to this location because of the great experiences I’ve had. Dr. Young took his time with me to make sure I got the right contacts for me and even took the time to follow up with me several times to answer some questions I had. Sharon was a big help in picking out frames and getting them properly adjusted.

She was friendly & patient as she removed the impromptu eye patch I made to get thru my meeting. Called before I came up, I asked if they would put new lens in my glasses, of course we can come up. Not to mention I have been coming there for over 10 yrs, Ive bought many pairs of eye glasses. Long term customer..... Bottom line I was told if I dont buy there glasses they dont do it. They only do drill mounts on there glasses. Sales tactics. I have spent thousands over the yrs with then. Never again will ever refer anyone here . They could looked my name up and seen that. Zero help.

I literally just walked out after waiting for an hour and no one said a word.I came to LensCrafters on Ulmerton last year and got a prescription for eyeglasses and contacts. I waited for over an hour, and then the front desk associate came and politely asked me if I wanted to reschedule. I said no. I waited another 30 minutes and then finally got in to see the doctor. Then, they overcharged me despite me telling the associate my lens fitting was included in my insurance. A few weeks later I had to come back by and pick up a handwritten check for them paying back the overpayment. Then, I ordered glasses online using the prescription I’d gotten, and it turned out it was wrong (confirmed twice with glasses that gave me an instant headache).Even though I lost my frames benefit because of the incorrect prescription (I wasn’t able to get the prescription corrected and glasses ordered by the end of the year) and this store has stated they will not do anything about it, I’m back for a correction.Today, I sat in the office and waited for over 45 minutes for the second time despite having an appointment and literally no one else being in the store. The staff seems like they sort of try to be friendly, but I’ve felt rushed every time I’m in here. The doctor I saw is nice and seems caring but somehow my paperwork is wrong.Anyway, it’s a lost cause and that’s why I just walked out.

I came in on a Sunday after my nephew stepped on my glasses. I was ready to have to pay to have them fixed since it’s my only pair I have at the moment. I was greeted immediately and told the gentleman at the front desk what I needed. He told me to go have a seat near the lab and someone will come out when they can to take a look at them. I asked him how much it would be to do this since I did not get these glasses here. He said there is no charge, they do this for free but do inform you of a risk of them breaking. Which I understood, the one ear piece was going 90 degrees the wrong way so I wasn’t expecting much.Someone came within minutes, took a look at them and went inside the lab. Within 5 minutes he was done and they were fixed! Absolutely great customer service and a great company! I was so thankful! I definitely will be coming back.

When i walked in I was greeted personally. I explained I believed my insurance will let me get a new pair of glasses this year and he immediately checked my insurance benefits and confirmed I could. He led/directed me how shopping for selected frames is done during COVID-19 and let me shop. After about 15 minutes another person asked if I was doing ok and needed any assistance and said No, but I was ready to buy my prescription glasses. Christopher confirmed the details of the last pair I ordered and asked if I wanted the same type of lenses on this new frame. I said yes and to add Transition lenses too. He took my face to glasses measurements, applied my insurance benefits and completed my progressive eyeglasses purchase. It was simple. Also Christopher has a great personality as we chatted while going through the purchase of my eyeglasses.

I have put off going to the eye doctors for years because of many bad experiences in the past.The process was easy and every question I had was answered with no issue.Edie and Dr. Young were absolutely fantastic! They both were kind and took the time to explain, in detail, each step and why, cost and what to expect.The fitting for my contacts couldnt have been easier. They showed me how to place and remove my contacts properly. I was even given the time to take them in and out in a private room, just to be sure I was confident before I left. They constantly asked if I was okay or if I had anymore questions. It is rare to find the customer service like I had at this location in Largo.Once I was finished with my exam, I was able to pick out glasses. Wow! What a variety of options! I found the perfect pair!Christopher assisted me in the purchase and fitting of my glasses. He was clear on explaining the cost and told me about the upgrades I asked about and recommended more that I didnt know about. He included cost and benefits of each upgrade we discussed.Thank you all for such an amazing experience! You all helped me feel very comfortable when I usually do not.

Glasses are sold as scratch resistant, but the quality is poor. I have dollar store readers that outlast. Manager told me that I HAD to use a Wet soft cloth to clean them. I use Bausch + Lomb. Thankful that I bought the protection coverage. Next purchase will be elsewhere. Never had this problem before.

This is the first time I used the Largo mall store.I have no idea why this store gets a bad rap!The customer service is top notch!I had a couple of issues new with my glasses and Melissa the general manager was outstanding, friendly and spent a ton of time helping me find the right pair. I have used this location years ago to get a pair of glasses and thought that since I had a great experience I would try again which was my mistake. After initially placing an order and returning to pay for it I was informed that it couldnt be found and that I had to place another one. Fast forward to after the order was placed while waiting for my glasses to arrive I had to update my phone number so that I could be reached for pick up and once again even after paying $313 it still seemed like a task to find my order. Due to the attitude that staff portrays and not feeling valued as a customer I would NEVER recommend this location. Save your money and find somewhere where you feel valued and dont have to worry about the constant loss of your order.

UPDATE!! I can’t wear this glasses occasionally because they give me headaches, very hard to focus and blurry. I get glasses from Veterans hospital and are always done perfect. I don’t recommend this establishment as per they didn’t help in the issue after 3 calls I gave up.Just got new glasses done here, first time at LensCrafters. Everything was done nicely and I’m very happy with the new Oakley’s, awesome.Mrs. Sharon took care of me and went the extra mile on customer care. I went to get my script for contacts and talked to a guy doctor at the desk. He told me the other doctor has to write the script and will call me the next day. He also told me that I would have to fill the script by Dec 18, 2019.Got a phone call a couple of days later, telling me that the doctor told me to come back in. The doctor told me that I didnt have to come back unless I had a problem. She told me I would have to get another eye exam to get the script. Due to the doctor wont write the script. Not once was I told I had to come back!The lady that called me wasnt a very pleasant person to talk to. She didnt care about anything I had to say.I WILL NOT GO BACK AND WILL NOT REFER ANYONE TO THIS PLACE!!!!

This was my first time at a LensCrafters and I would highly recommend this location. It was very clean and all of the staff was friendly. I saw Dr. Young, he was kind, knowledgable, and able to answer all of my questions. Dr. Young took his time and explained each step. The optometrist there was incompetent as I tried to get contacts there and she tried to change my prescription that had remained the same after 12 years with my ophthalmologist which affected my vision. Second there customer service is atrocious as a)it took me half an hour before someone started helping me choose a pair of glasses b)They were very eager to convince to buy a $400 pair of glasses but could not be patient to help me adjust them as several employees were hostile towards me when I went.

I loved the Optometrist that took care of me. Front desk staff is oblivious when you walk in, are waiting, etc. No one greeted me, checked me in, had me fill out paperwork since I was new. I took the initiative and grabbed a new patient clipboard sitting randomly on desk. Even when I was done filling out forms, the front desk just took them from me and said nothing more while we waited and waited, and people who arrived after my appointment time were taken in and seen before me.Just all around terrible customer service! I hope the Optometrist I saw finds a better location, since she is so sweet, cheerful, and professional.

I was there with my boyfriend and the tall blonde lady that helped us was really rude. She insisted we buy the premium frames so we did but then went back and wanted the downgrade bc it was too much money. She was happy to assist us with the sale but not so much when we wanted the refund. LensCrafters is money hungry and don’t care about your pocket just the sale that they’re going to make. I wouldn’t advise going there.

BEWARE THIS STORE. Waste of time. Called and set up appt with my VSP insurance (usually go to visionworks but they were booked) when i got there and was filling out the new paperwork they say they cant use my insurance. I ask why? They dont know. They say VSP is based by each person whatever that means. I have never had a problem using it. This place is sick. PLEASE GO ANYWHERE ELSE. Not sure if this was racism or what happened but it seems based on who i am and not what insurance i pay for every paycheck at work

I scheduled an appointment and when I showed up to check in they told me my appointment was a week later, which is different than the lady said on be phone when I scheduled my appointment. I left and came back a week later and sat in the waiting area for 40 minutes before I walked out. I understand the doctor gets held up, but its the responsibility of the sales/customer service associates to a) let a patient know the Doctor is running behind at check in and b) to let them know while theyre waiting that they have not been forgotten. Horrible service. Will reschedule with a competitor.

After calling and being told the Dr did accept gift certificates I bought one and sent it to my son for Christmas.After the exam was over, which was quoted at 97$ now cost 150!(They did an add on without permission)Then refused to honor the gift certificate. Apparently the Dr. has his own Gift certificates, that no one mentioned.When I called and spoke with the manager, not only was she rude and condescending she basically called me a liar.Im still, a week later waiting on a call from the district manager. Called them today, asked simple question how long are patient records maintained. Gal answered at this time they are not available unless you have been in within the last week. Prior to this, experience was poor, when I asked them to send retinopathy exam records to my primary physician, I was told by the head Dr. that the images were proprietary, and the other Dr./technician had mis-read them. Also was not impressed with the retail side, they queue you up, and keep you waiting a couple of hours past the time they told you glasses would be ready. This was a couple years ago.

I have purchased glasses from Lenscrafters in Largo Mall for 10 years despite the fact that I Ithought their glasses were a little pricey. The service was not bad. In January 2018 I purchased a new pair of glasses and unfortunately for me my prescription changed significantly. I went back to get new lenses in June 2018 and I was told that the lenses alone would cost more than I paid for the lenses and frames 6 months earlier. This Particular Location is simply UNBELIEVABLE!!!! I have used the Lenscrafters on Sunset and 19 for about 5 years now, and never had any issues. I since have moved to FeatherSound, so THOUGHT it would be better to visit this location because of convenience. NOT!!!! They told me to download the New Patient paperwork, so after trying for 35 min., I decided to call them to have them fax them to me instead which is originally what I wanted them to do. After calling them, the LITTLE GIRL, that answered the phone had put me on hold for 2-1/2 minutes, then came on the phone and hung up on me. I then called back, STILL FRUSTRATED, and cancelled my April 23rd appt. I have decided to go back to the Sunset location where service IS a priority!!! Dr. A is really wonderful. Probably the best eye exam Ive ever had to be completely honest. My prescription is the most on point its ever been. I can see so clearly now! On top of giving an amazing exam and being so patient with me to make sure everything was correct and not blurry, Dr. A was so personable and sweet! I love that they dont need to dilate your eyes. Every time I have come here for an exam, the staff has always been so helpful and nice. They are not pushy with trying to get you to buy all the expensive over the top frames like some places are. They are remodeling the whole store and even with dealing with that, which Im sure can be frustrating at times, everyone there seemed so happy. Definitely makes a difference. Thank you all so much! I absolutely recommend this place to anyone who needs an exam or frames. Always a wonderful experience here and I am a happy girl with my new prescription...Thank you Dr. A! Will be cool to see how the store looks remodeled and beautiful at my exam next yr! 😊
