From the moment we entered the store, Veronica greeted us and asked how she could help. I needed lenses from one pair of glasses put into another pair. She immediately stopped what she was doing and began working on my glasses. It is rare to receive such excellent customer service. Thank you so much. I will definitely return to Eyeglass World.

I had an appointment at the Largo (Seminole Blvd) location on 7/6/21 and had a TERRIBLE experience. The physician I saw, was not the problem. The Doctor was nice, informative, and helpful.What took place was probably the worst customer service I have ever had. I am 43 years old and generally let things go, however I want to try and prevent someone else being treated the way I was treated.Once I was done with the Dr. I was taking a look at some glasses and one of the sales people named Lena came up to me and did not introduce herself. All she did was tell me that after trying on the glasses, dont put them back on the wall. Put them on the bench in front of the wall. I understood but the way she spoke was rude. My appointment began at 2:10pm and by the time I was done with the doctor it was almost 4pm. They were closing at 4pm that day because there was a major storm coming. I sat down with Lena at around 3:50pm and all she did was get frustrated because I had a lot of questions about my options. She seemed to want to go home and rushed me to make a decision. I ended up spending more than I wanted and bought two pairs cause I really could not decide between the two pairs. I went back to the store a few days later because I felt mistreated. I spoke to the manager Brian who was very kind but nothing was done and I felt that either he gets these complaints on a regular basis and its nothing knew or he was just placating me. Again, I dont think I have ever been treated so poorly by individuals who are supposed to be in Customer Service/Sales. I returned one of the pairs of glasses to the store this week and did not replace it. I spoke with Brian again and he truly didnt care that I was bringing them back or that I was not interested in getting another pair. Please dont waste your time and money. Everyone deserves to be treated with respect and I did nothing to deserve the treatment I received.

Customer service: NONE. I arrived for my 11:00 appointment fifteen minutes early to do the paperwork, as Wayne requested when I scheduled my appointment. I completed my paperwork, handed it to the desk person, and was asked for my military ID, which I provided. Then I was promptly ignored for the next thirty minutes, at which time I retrieved my ID and left at 11:45. No need to suffer more abuse and waste of time. That was my experience August 25, 2021.

Doctor was lovely. She remembered us which was a nice touch. The receptionist girl at the desk working with doctor seemed to be a hard worker and she moved fast. She could have been a bit more appearance friendly. One man I worked with seemed diligent and attentive. The rest of the staff seemed like they were just there doing their job and didnt really care. I think as far as environment and care factor of front staff to their patients could use a facelift and some enhancements to make the environment a bit more welcoming and not so cold.But thats just my suggestion from one business owner to another business.Otherwise, we think the glasses we got are great and we like the actual product of the glasses as well as the prescription itself. Five Stars there for sure.

Exzam went great. Picked out 2 frames, decided I didnt want them. I picked out another frame. I decided to get both the same frame. The lady ordered 1 pair. 2,3 weeks later, still have 1 pair. I paid over 600 dollars for 2. Update:. After contacting corporate, they had my glasses ready before noon. I work so I picked them up later. The one pair is kinda bent,I can get that fixed later.

I have needed glasses for a very long time. I finally decided just this morning to try to make an appointment. I went online and scheduled an appointment for 3:15pm.It was the best experience Ive ever had getting glasses. Everyone was very friendly and the appointment went quick. To top it off, they had the lenses I needed and got my glasses ready in 40 minutes. I got home at 5:10pm with two pairs of glasses. I would definitely recommend eyeglass world to anybody. Thank you for helping me see again!

I went here after a bad experience somewhere else and I will definitely go here from now on. The employees were so friendly and helpful. They let me take my time picking out my frames and were very patient with me answering all the questions that I had. They worked with me to get the best deal possible.

I made an appointment while in town on vacation because I left my contacts at home by accident and was past due for an eye exam. The staff was friendly and the whole experience was wonderful. Michelle Quach, O.D. was nice, professional, and tweaked my prescription so it was perfect. If I lived in town, I would definitely come back here for my appointments.

We were on vacation, and my husband lost his contacts in the ocean. He is nearly legally blind, and this place took care of us and went out of their way to make sure he had a pair of contacts to make the drive home. THANK YOU so much. If we lived here, we’d definitely use them as our eye care place!

This staff couldn’t have been nicer. They were professional and welcoming as well as careful about COVID-19 cleanliness measures. However my chief complaint is with the optometrist who was about to start the exam without introducing himself. He has the personality of a squid. He told me that he had 38 years experience, over 175,000 exams during those years to convince me that he knew what he was going. And he didn’t seem to appreciate my questions about the exam. I had a negative experience long ago and I’m very careful to make sure that my answers are consistent to avoid the wrong RX. This guy sounded bored and tired. I believe that he was very competent, and when I persisted, he answered my questions thoroughly. Granted I wasn’t there to make friends with him but some kindness would have been appreciated. The final bill for the glasses Including the exam was staggering. Perhaps he was having a bad day. I hope so because today’s experience wasn’t an incentive for me to return.

My experience was the worst for eye exam and glasses . Poor services with poor customer service except Brianna that was the only one has excellent customer service there. Plus manager that made an appointment and was not there at the location that told me he would be . One star for this place is generous .

Great experience. All the staff was extremely helpful, friendly and professional. I got new glasses and my wife got prescription glasses and sunglasses and we were in and out in less than an hour. We’ll definitely be back!

Glasses World is a amazing place for getting exams and glasses. Louis was the person who helped me and Ive never had a better experience with getting my glasses. Has a huge array of different glasses to choose from. I strongly recommend them for anything eyes related!

They dont let you know all the extras up front.The exam from the doctor was separate charge of 69.99 . 2for 78 doesnt cover nothing but the lens and the frames only. 4 hours wasted of my life.

All 6 pairs done quickly even though they had to be sent out and it was the week of the 4th of July. When we picked them up the staff was polite, efficient and patient. That doesnt happen a,lot when I show,up with three Elementary school ages girls. Madison was wonderful. She got each of the girls glasses adjusted. Three sets of glasses for three young girls. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

2 mins.....2mins late for my sons appointment. Which neither of the first 2 people we encountered had any problems with. We sat with our paperwork, filled it out, waited. Then this dr walked out said when did yall get here, 10:15? No you didnt, Im going to have to reschedule you....now we hadnt seen her face until this moment. No hello how are you, no acknowledgment for my 7 year old son. So I said no thats OK we will go somewhere else. She made us wait 20 mins for her but had to reschedule because of the 2 mins we were late. Rude as hell.

I had gotten.glasses from.them several years ago and had a wonderful experience but not this time..my salesperson messed up.my order the first time I got them she knew they were wrong but did not say anything..I realized it and had to take them back..no apology for her error..she blamed the computer..so I had to wait another week to get the correct pair..they should of let me keep the messed.up pair for my.inconvenience but they did not..Definitely not a great experience for me..

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone at Eyeglass World for all their help! The entire staff was friendly, helpful, professional and committed to getting the job done right with my order. I had an issue where one of my pairs of glasses just wasnt to my liking, while one pair was perfect.They actually went ahead and made me an entirely new pair without giving me any trouble about it. Wayne and Beth gave me outstanding service, and so did everyone else involved in my order (not sure of other peoples names, but had a great experience with all staff members).So thank you again to everyone at Eyeglass world. My two pairs are excellent, and after the helpful adjustments from Wayne and Beth, I am extremely pleased with the final results. I would highly recommend this store. I have never actually taken the time to write a review, until now. I had the worst experience at Eyeglass World in Largo. The receptionist was really nice but the doctor was terrible. She couldnt give me a straight answer on anything. I went in there and asked if she could help me. It was obvious to everyone that something was wrong with my eye. She just looked at me, and said come on back. Never actually answered my question. So I went back. I sat down, and thanked her for seeing me (I was being nice because everywhere else was booked and I was glad to be seen) I told her that I wasnt sure if she was the right person I needed to see for my problem, or if I needed to go else where. She never responded to me. So I said, I take it, you are able to tell me whats wrong. Again, no response. She was more concerned about her computer working properly. When she finally did look at my eye. She barely looked at it, an then sat back in her chair and looked at me. I asked again, so... what is it. She said two big long words that I of course have no clue what they mean. I said okay, and awaited further explanation. She didnt give any. To make an even longer story short. Thats how the entire encounter went. She gave me an ointment to wipe on the outside of my eye, WHICH ISNT WORKING, an thats it. I have no clue whats wrong with my eye, and its even worse. I spent $75 there and thats all the money I had to go to the doctor. I now may have to go to the Emergency room because its getting worse. I will never go to Eyeglass World again.

I have had to wear glasses for the last 2 years. It comes with the territory of getting a tad up there in years, that I get. I never had experience before as to how much to expect from seeing thru them clearly. So 2 years ago I got glasses and accepted that I would never again have clarity thru my eyes. My glasses were very much lacking. I need bifocals to boot so near and far were blurry and full of glare! UNTIL I went into Eyeglass World on Seminole in Largo. After all...it had been 2 years...I must need new glasses. Vision was getting worse. I just picked up my 2 new pair and was Stunned and flabberghasted at how clearly I could see. It is like not wearing glasses anymore. Near is there and Far is right how it should be and No Glare. Talk about High Def!!! I recommend this place and its staff so very highly. Professional, kind, patient and very thorough. I will defintely be back and tell all my other (ahem) older friends of mine. Wow!!! Thank you Eyeglass World. You hit this outta the park. With my new glasses I can now see outta the park!!!!

Never ever going here again. Broke both regular and sunglasses this weekend. Called in to get two new pairs. Tech claims my prescription is expired and he cannot give me glasses until I go in for an hour consult, spend $$$$. This basically means Im blind and cannot even drive until I can take a day off of work and spend time and $$$ I dont have for something I dont even need. Just give me the old prescription ffs.

The girl behind the desk was great and made copies of everything for my employer. And on the way out, I had an old pair of glasses adjusted. One stop shop! Thank you.

I was skeptical at first after reading other reviews but I was pleasantly surprised. We used insurance and our co pay was a little higher than expected, but they did something instead of dialiating my eyes..great. the dr was great, explained everything, didnt rush me. Purchasing my glasses was easy. They took time to explain my benefits and provide options. I didnt use their 2 4 deal but even if we had, it still would have been a good value.

I am a first time contact wearer and she had complete patience teaching me to put them in, explaining how to take care of them and even was kind enough to order me a FREE trial color pair! Terrible service from the technician- one guy in particular. The previous eye doctor that served me resigned. Another dr struggled to try to correct the RX My RX was wrong and this guy technician refused to help to correct my lenses. She/he acted as if I was getting too many trials. My response, I have insurance and Ive paid out -of-pocket for contacts that did not correct my vision. I dont care if it takes your unexperienced staff 20 attempts, your job is to fit me with the correct RX. Will NEVER go there again!!!!

My family and I went there yesterday and saw Dr.Vu. he seems to be in a rush to to do the exams. I had mentioned to him that I had retinal detachment and that it was corrected. He ask me how long ago. I was trying to remember the year and he was like 2 weeks,1yr,5yrs,10yrs. He wanted the answer asap. I didnt even gave time to think.When he started the eye exam. He would ask if this is better or worse and at one point I said boy the letters seem so far away? And he said that is not the answer. The question is not how far the letters are or if they are blurry,or big and what not. The questions is are the letters better or worse. He was really rude about it. And when he was dripping eye drops in my eyes I didnt even really had the chance to blink or dab my eye with a tissue before he drip the other eye drops in my eyes.Ive had seen a lot of Doctors. And I wouldnt recommend Dr Vu. The only reason I went there was that I was recommended by a friend. Needless to say my family and I would not be a returning customers. We will go back to our previous doctor. On a good note. The staffs were very friendly and helpful.

Went to the Largo location, at 13002 Seminole Blvd., recently for an eye exam. Asked the Eye Dr. (was the senior Eye Dr. for their Pinellas county locations and was filling in on a Saturday) if he could give me my pupillary distance so I could shop around. He told me that he would put it on my eye exam but I noticed that he left that area blank on the exam paperwork after I sat with a salesperson to get pricing on glasses. I told her that I was supposed to get my pupillary distance information on my eye exam paperwork. Her response was we only give out that information if you buy our frames/lenses here. I paid $80.00 for the eye exam and have every right to get that information!!! THIS IS AMERICA AND IF I WANT TO SHOP AROUND THEN THAT IS MY RIGHT, YOUR COMPANY HAD NO PROBLEM TAKING MY $80.00. Needless to say this will be the last time I visit an Eyeglass World because now I guess I will have to go elsewhere and pay more $ for information that should have just been given to me. Came in here after months of going thru hell with the clearwater store who long story short messed up my perscription. Cindy and beth were amazing at resolving my issue and behold I can see again once more 😁😁. I suggest you go see them if youre looking for a new pair of glasses.
