Came in for an appointment today, office was very busy. Staff member Gracie was on the phone with an irate customer. Went in to re-order my eyeglasses that I was pretty rough with. The staff, Lattie, Gracie, and Ana were remarkable! All three were a great trio! Also, quite amusing, working well with each other. I was offered different payment plans and knowledgeable recommendations that helped with my final decision. Initially I went into Optical Outlets in Largo today to exchange some contacts. I was a bit upset because Cooper Vision only sent a partial box. Gracie waited on me and turned lemons into lemonade. Best place for start to finish. I was having a hard time finding somewhere that not only accepted my sons insurance but accepted his age as well. I finally got ahold of optical outlets and they were helpful, nice and professional from the beginning. We worked with Gracie when we came in for his appointment and she was an amazing employee and made sure we were well taken care of. She did not stop until she found the best option for my son even when it felt like there was difficulties. Thank you very much Gracie and optical outlets.

Scheduled an appointment for April 27,2021 at 10:40, arrived at 10:35 ,was told by front desk person that they did not have my medical history which I had completed on line the day before appointment, had to complete another on paper. Was called back for exam at 11:15. Came back to waiting room ,sat and waited until 12:20 ,I watched one person walked in, no appointment was seen by technician Tracey,she was going back and forth with that person and another couple sitting in front of her, another customer walked in with an 11:20 appointment, Tracey chose to wait on that customer over myself and another person who had a 10:20 appointment. I questioned as to why? She said she would get my chart and see me after she finished the 11:20 appointment. It was already 12:30. Tracey was very rude ,unprofessional and nasty!!!!!!. Made a complaint with my Insurance company, canceled all fore going appointments. Told my insurance company, Id continue to wear readers from the drug store before going there again!!!!!!!!!

Easiest eye exam, with a great doctor. Most pleasant staff as well, Karina was a huge help. With insurance and their affordable pricing, I was able to get my 2 new pairs of prescription glasses. Shipped very quick. I really appreciate everything they did, I can finally see clearly! Happy to return, as well as an easy recommendation.

The best prices & customer services anyone can find in town. A store Manager Karina De Jesus @ Largo is very knowledgeable advise the right glasses that fit the insurance plans that would covered according to the Dr.s prescription. Plus gave tips what kind of glasses frames that fit our needs. We were in & out of the store less than 5 mins. Cant. 5 🌟

Helped my son and myself pick out glasses that he absolutely loves and showed me that he actually needs round glasses and not square like we thought, due to his prescription for his corrective lenses. When it comes to processing insurance. Optical outlet doesnt know what they are doing. They have children doing the billing there. I have Medicare and Medicaid. They literally attempted to charge me the full cash price. After they bill the insurance.Mistake? Or trying to get double pay? Its kind of hard to tell here in Florida. Because there is just SO much money grubbing going on. And SO much incompetence. When it comes to billing Medicare and Medicaid. And SO many providers have clueless staff. Who dont know how to simply bill the insurance company. Driving across town was a huge waist of time with these people. When I asked about insurance on the phone. Before I drove down there for the appointment. They just gave me the run around. If you have insurance. Dont even bother with these people. I recommend that you deal with better people. Who are more reputable. And actually know what they are doing with your insurance billing. The entire experience that I had with these people, tells me that they just want to get you in the door. Charge you cash prices. Then continually upsell you into $500 glasses. Im sure that there is a lot of people who have $500 to throw around here in Florida. So. Maybe these people who like to throw away money, should go there. If you have insurance. Dont bother with these people. They are just there to screw you around.

Came to Optical Outlet, Gracie really helped me a lot. If it wasn’t for her, I would have Never come back again. She definitely need a raise and praise for hard work, and truly being a people person.

I went yesterday with my sister and we were treated with much respect and kindness. Everyone wore a mask and there was sanitizer available for customers. We were still able to try on a variety of eyeglasses and they sanitize them after we try them on. Thank you Karina for making our appointment a fast and easy process.

Everyone here is very nice and polite, the receptionist was very nice she greeted me at the entrance and asked if I had an appointment, I didn’t have one but they helped me with what I needed, the rest of the staff were very outgoing and very informative of what they were offering me. Scheduled an appointment for my daughter and waited 2 weeks to get in. Arrived for her appointment and the woman at the front desk gave us a nasty look and asked what we were there for. I said my daughter has an appointment and she said no she doesnt the doctor is gone. Then proceeded to tell me my appointment was 20 minutes ago and we missed it. She was very unprofessional and argumentative. I will never return to any of these offices!

Very limited and generic frames. Not that this matters as i recieved another persons glasses. They are neither the frames i chose nore the prescription i need. Im sure if i got the wrong glasses im not the only one. No effort to make it right when i immediately let them know. Its an expensive lesson.

I want in there one day was that greeted I did sign in at the sign-in desk nobody told me I had to sign another paper out because I did have an appointment at 9:30 they didnt get to me till 11:30 they were calling everybody else that was coming in after me and taking care of them until one of these actually greeted somebody and said you had to fill out paperwork if you had an appointment a different sheet so thats when I got up and is there any more of these papers so I can fill out because I have an appointment at 9:30 and its 11:00 11:30 now for my eye exam and I had another appointment to go to so after I had my eyes dilated and looked at play told me itd be another hour or so they can get to me at all the glasses so I left went back a week later to order my glasses it was a new girl which I can understand do you know how to do the insurance part so they told me that they would look up the insurance and give me a call they did not I went in 3 days later to get it straightened out the woman said to me again I would have to wait till she text you insurance and shell give me a call so lets see if she does

I was very impressed with the staff and service at Optical Outlets in Largo. My appointment was at 2:40 and I was called in five minutes earlier at 2:35. The examination was quick and thorough and all of the staff members were very polite and professional. After my exam Melinda assisted me in selecting my lenses and thoroughly reviewed my options and associated costs. She also helped me select a frame out of the numerous options available. She was sensitive to my needs and my budget. She is extremely professional and knowledgeable and made the experience both pleasant and efficient. I will be returning next year for my annual exam.

Front desk is completely unprofessional. Walked in for an appointment and was spoken too like we were not welcome. Lady at the front desk spoke as we were an inconvenience to her.

Broke my polo frames while adjusting them(snapped the leg off). How’d they resolve it? Gave me some off brand squared frames and put my lenses loosely on them. I asked for a real solution and got none.

Was in with my father in law. Staff was very knowledgeable, and went over several options that would give him the best value for his money.He ended up getting 2 pair of glasses one tinted for sunglasses and one non tinted for a little over $200, including the exam. Transition lenses were available, but he didnt want that option.

If you want help with choosing frames and lens options than you should see Grace. She is very knowledgeable and patient. She took the time to try different looks on me and then she made surethe lens were exactly what I needed. She made my day!

I went here to get my first contacts about a week ago. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. Ana was very patient with teaching me how to put on and remove my contacts and assisted me whenever I needed help. Today, Ana and Karina were very friendly when I came to pick up my supply of contacts. Im very glad that I decided to come to this location.

Gracie was nice. She was very attentive with everything. She did more work then all of the 3 girls put together that were there. We were fortunate to have gotten her. If you can book an appt w/ her would definitely recommend so.

My son was seen at optical outlets in largo, top notch team. Girls are great but there was an incident of a child getting sick at the bathroom, the staff cleaned up and closed the rest room for the day because they mopped and it was in the end of the day, it was about 5:20 and then the childs mother who had the incident got all offended and claimed that they were all rude and disrespectful, which they werent. They explained it very politely and the customer was not receiving it well. I felt really bad for the staff membersthey put the bathroom out of service but they did it for a reason. They mopped and the floors were wet and and that wouldve been a liability and a safety issue for the other customers.

Don’t be turned off by the “no frills” lobby! I was very well taken care of by Sarah and the rest of the staff! I was given honest opinions which I thoroughly appreciated. The optical styles are current with a variety of prices! Very happy customer!

Gracie was Sooo helpful and went over and above to make my experience w optical outlet perfect ! I have been to optical out before but have never had this great of service ! The next day after leaving I had some questions about my purchase and she was more than happy to answer all the questions happily ! Had appointment monday at 510 get there office closed til June 5. Another couple had app after me very unprofessional called no apoligy treated rude gone there 3 times i would pay more just to be treated right so bye optical azzclowns. .

I have not been to Optical Outlet in over 4 years .The new manager Anita helped me from start from finish .I have a muscle disease which makes it nearly impossible for me to get up from any chair under 20 inches tall seat to floor .At one point she got an office chair to do test on my eyes.The chair lowered and I was unable to get up with out assistance. Anita went and got my friend who had given me a ride to assist in helping me up .I weigh 320 pounds its not an easy task to help me up .Anita is funny very personable and very knowledgeable about the products. I have already told family and friends about my appointment at Optical Outlet. I will recommend them to all my friends and family. Talk about going above and beyond wow Anita took what was turning into a disaster into a very pleasant appointment.

Staff and doctor are very friendly and welcoming but my glasses did not turn out so good. When I picked them up things were slightly blurry but main problem was with distance as I was unable to read a sign approx. 12 to 15 feet away but was told wear glasses for a couple of weeks and see if all doesnt improve but after a week I came back in as things were worse not better and I was getting headaches. As I was able to read close up fairly well without glasses I decided that I only wanted them redone for distance & they redid the prescription. I picked them up a week later but again things were not very clear and again was told to try glasses for a while but it has now been weeks later and I have just given up and cannot wear glasses at all. I spent money for extra with these glasses and now I am just paying off credit card for something I cant use.

The customer service was outstanding, I didnt wait to long very Fast service. The person Grace that was helping me was Friendly, nice, in which she was able to help me decide a pair of frames for glasses.

Customer Service sucks at this location. Do not purchase your glasses here once they get their money from you forget any help. I purchased $250 sunglasses/frames and a couple of years later the film has bubbled up and they will not even offer a decent replacement of NON-prescription glass for these expensive frames. There are many other choice out there like Americas Best at Largo Mall, go there they have Customer Service.

The office was overcrowded and understaffed but the staff member “Gracie” was like a one woman show. She was doing so much and helping everyone that she could. A few times some people got upset about the wait but she handled the situation very professionally and was able to calm the upset people. In my opinion she deserves a raise and to be recognized for her hard work and customer care!

The folks there were pleasant. Gracie was very thorough, and covered all the options available to us. The optometrist was also very pleasant. We would have liked to have had more frame options, but our overall experience was good.
