Both my mother and my husband have resided at St. Anthony for about 5 yrs. Each. Living close, I was able to visit them daily. The loving care and respect that they received was remarkable.

After more than a year, my mother-in law passed away in this nursing home. We did not receive one expression of sympathy of any kind from anyone associated with this facility. Ken Thompson, the owner and director is the most difficult person to deal with. His focus is on profit not compassion. Consider anywhere but St. Anthony.

I was a caregiver for a client for over a year at this facility so I had plenty of time to get to know them. Overall I couldn’t have been more impressed with the cleanliness, hospitality, and overall welcoming community they provided for not only my client but myself as well. They were always so friendly and helpful even when they had a million things to do. I was especially touched with the phenomenal care they provided at the end of my clients life as well as the comfort they provided to me and his other caregivers during the hardest times. 10 out of 10 I would recommend my friends and family to stay here if they needed this kind of facility!

I arrived in Lafayette this evening to visit my Grandmother. We couldnt go in due to COVID-19 which is to be expected. My Grandmother was sitting in the dark at 6pm. Her TV wasnt on either. The lady who brought her dinner didnt turn the light on nor did she ask if my Grandma needed assistance with dinner. My Grandmas hand was shaking so badly she couldnt even take a drink. She was very confused and crying. The nurse we finally managed to get a hold of was so unprofessional and rude to our family. My sister and I were very worried, but there wasnt anyone we could speak to. It was awful!!!! We received a call approximately two hours after we left advising my Grandma had been taken to the hospital via ambulance. When I spoke with her via phone this week she said the nurses were mean to her. She said she didnt like it at Saint Anthonys. I thought maybe she was just confused. After what I witnessed tonight, I believe her opinion was accurate. Thank you, Jesus, that she never has to go back to Saint Anthonys! We are bringing her home. I BEG YOU NOT TO TAKE YOUR LOVED ONES HERE!!!😭😭

We visit St Anthony almost weekly for IT support issues. The staff has been great to work with. As we walk around the building the caregivers are friendly and seem to genuinely care for those in their care. All those receiving care seem happy and have a great place to be. The atmosphere is always happy with music many times, games and activities going on, and excellent physical and occupational therapy. I would completely recommend them to any one needing care.

I am very proud to have a Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Lafayette that has the highest ratings from U.S. News. Having long term staff says a lot about a facility. St. Anthony is very open and they have such a caring group of individuals that take care of everyone. I have referred my family there and will never hesitate to refer anyone to St. Anthony Rehabilitation and Nursing Center!

Ive had the opportunity to interact with some of the staff and they exceed expectations. They are very concerned about finding solutions that work for all parties. In dealing with another care facilities these guys are truly unique. Keep up the great work!

To place a loved one in a care facility you worry about a lot of things, it is a very hard decision. You can read testimonials, look at persons reviews, ask others that have received care, or read internet reviews listed by state audits. But a lot of the time it is an issue of availability and cost. The things that I think value are. Does the staff give high level of respect and care for the patient, is the facility clean. What type of physical therapy does it offer. What level and nutritional value are the meals. Well my father in-law just came home from a three month stay at Saint Anthony Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. And all of the above were answered (it was the best ) no level in my opinion could be higher. The physical therapy and care of the nursing staff basically saved his life. You will not know until you have spent some time at a facility, but take my word if you choose Saint Anthony Rehabilitation and Nursing Center you will have made the best decision ..
