I had a great HANDS-ON experience at Compass Nursing Arts. Due to COVID several other schools are only offering online courses, but I dont know how you would master skills without the in-person class time. I had a great two week course, and would highly recommend Compass to anyone interested in becoming a CNA.

I had a great experience at Compass! Everyone I met from day one was extremely nice and incredibly helpful no matter what I needed! I felt incredibly lucky finding this course because I learn best hands on and that is exactly what this course is. Not only do you learn all of the information online and in a book you get to learn it hands on an in class! I had such a great time in such a great experience and recommend anyone to come to Compass! Special thank you to Karis for her help with my CNA and BLS Certificates! I will always be thankful for making the choice to come here and learn from these great teachers!

My experience with Compass Nursing Arts was wonderful! I took the BH evening fast track course. I was scared that with it being so short that I would not get enough training or information. BOY, WAS I WRONG! The class was well managed and well taught, and my instructor did an excellent job at making sure each and every one of us had understood the lesson. She took great measures in making sure we were ready for our exam, and I am now confident that I have the information and skill to move on into the healthcare field. Thank you!

I would highly recommend this school to others! Everything, from the easy registration (online, where you can easily see the many different class schedule options) to the class itself, everything was very well organized. My teacher was Karis and she’s a fantastic teacher! She actually made the class enjoyable. My clinical experience was also great. I just took my state exam and passed on my first try. There is definitely an emphasis on making sure you’re prepared for the state exam. They have open lab time where you can come back and practice the skills as much as you need to before the test (which I HIGHLY recommend!) Every single person who works at Compass is incredibly nice and helpful. If you need a CNA certification, you can do no better.

I highly recommend this program! I did the hybrid course which worked great with my schedule. The online portion is completed before in class lecture starts. I really liked this because it gave you an introduction to the material and then it was reiterated and explained thoroughly in lecture. I gained SO much appreciation for geriatric care during the course of the class. My instructor was Karis. I could really tell she loves what she does and wants to pass her knowledge and experiences to you. So happy I did my CNA through compass. I feel very confident going forward to state testing and applying for jobs.

I took the Hybrid evening class in August 2018, had a great instructor. From the people I have kept up with from my class we all passed the Colorado state exam (written and skills). Besides being a great facility they have amazing, helpful staff. 10 out of 10 would recommend!

Update: I never knew how much of their infection control training was going to come in handy. Depressing, but true. Karris (sp?) placed a good amount of emphasis on infection control and PPE, and I honestly use her advice every day as I take every precaution for my family during this pandemic. I think Compass should consider offering an infection control course to the general public.Great, thorough instruction. The clinical hours are rewarding! What I learned at Compass I applied to helping my husband through a serious surgery (and resulting complications). Hes doing well now, but I still have my stethoscope and check his pulse and BP!

Very thorough and educational. I took the Power class and though it was a lot of information all at once, it was presented well, broken down into manageable chunks, and interspersed with much appreciated lab time. I would definitely recommend. The staff is helpful, knowledgeable, and interested in helping you succeed!

Compass is the best place to get your CNA certification! When I took advantage of their power course option I felt that the staff was focused on helping me become a skilled nursing assistant in addition passing the state exam, something my friends in other programs didnt get. I couldnt have asked for better instructors, learning techniques, or clinical days. They have an amazing program!

I did the hybrid evening class and had karis for my instructor. I highly recommended this program and this location. Everyone was so helpful and kind and truly help you to prepare for what the state tests are like and they want you to be able to pass on the first time you take them. I was able to find a cna position very quickly so the class has already paid for itself. Thank you ladies at compass for all that you do.

Compass School of Nursing Arts is a great place to get your CNA. They provide all the necessary tools to pass your test and the instructors are amazing. They also let you come in and practice skills. Not only do they offer CNA training, they also offer a CPR class and a pediatric class as well if you are interested in working with kids. I cannot thank this school enough for the training they gave me.

The staff was friendly, knowledgable, and flexible. I left Compass feeling prepared and within a month of graduating already was able to get a job, test and become certified as well. They prepare you beyond what is expected for the state exam and give time saving tips as well. Compass is a great CNA school and I would recommend this to everyone!

So extremely happy I took my CNA class (Hybrid B) at Compass. Karis was an amazing instructor who took the time to teach things thoroughly and prepared me for my clinical. I drove an hour to get here (LOL), but it was well worth the drive. Their facility is great and includes a large lab to practice skills. You can practice your skills every Monday 4-7 which is super helpful for the upcoming state exam. Theyre also a testing site, so win-win.I also took my CPR/BLS class through Compass as well.Would highly recommend this to anyone looking to start their medical career or those looking for an awesome new career!
