I had been to several Neurologist before I found Dr Sevilla, all of them could not help me with my chronic migraines. When I first went to Dr. Sevilla she discussed my condition with me in detail and went over my treatment plan with me. I had been out of work for 2 and a half years due to my condition. I can say that because of Dr. Sevilla not only did I get my life back, I was able to return to work and have a new wonderful job that I dearly love. Dr. Sevilla has truly been a blessing. All of the staff are equally as wonderful.

Ive been seeing Dr. Sevilla for chronic migraine headaches since 2012. The Botox treatments have made a world of difference in my life. Ive gone from approx. 12-15 headaches a month to 0-1. And on the rare occasion I do experience a migraine I am able to use a rescue med that brings relief in less than 30 minutes with no downtime needed. Dr. Sevilla has been a huge help.

Dr Sevilla has been treating my husband for cluster headaches for around 10 years. She has been above and beyond with him. I don’t think he could have made it thru his episodes without her. I highly recommend her to anyone I meet who is experiencing any type of headaches.

She is very blunt asking several questions (for first new patient visit 40 min +) and no eye contact. Im sitting there answering her questions like I was being interviewed by the parol board and never once did she allow me to speak freely. I got the feeling she was not interested in helping me- I was just a number to her --and was made to feel like I was making everything up.Be sure to remember all your meds the mgs etc-- when you started and stopped them even if it was years ago. She seems insulted if you arent sure. Shell want all your doctors names their specialties and a detailed timeline of when your symptoms started, changed , ended etc. Shell ask about your child hood etc. Then she leaves the room to look over her notes -- re enters to do a short exam.At that point my in time my migraine was debilitating. I was wearing my sunglasses indoors. Never experiencing them previous to this. I had been having them for two months every day and seeking any help I could get.I told her the light from the computer seemed to trigger the migraine and made it worse so I was having trouble completing my work on the computer. She informed me that she did not assist in the disability process. I respected her çhoice about it.The following day when speaking to UNUM the FMLA co. I explained to them that she was not wiilling to document my condition for STD or FMLA purposes. I just needed some documentation to hold me over until I could get the Botox injections she recommended. I was in so much pain with Aura, Photophobia and nausea. Unum understood the situation but said they would fax her office for verification that I had an appt with her and needed no further info from her office.Today I received a letter in the mail from her stating I was no longer welcome at her practice because Unum requested paperwork from her. and sha e had already told me no.The letter-- just like her personality was cold hearted lacking empathy. Why would her office not call and speak with me befor sending me such a harsh letter? I did nothing wrong. Perhaps there was a misunderstanding on UNUMs part but I made it very clear with them about Dr. Savillas wishes re STD and FMLA. Now Im left with this migraine and nowhere to turn. Theres not many options for Botox for migrainesin this area. My suggestion is to avoid Dr. Savillas office and seek help elsewhere.. It was truley a disheartening experience for me. 😢
