Christina absolutely works her magic in there! She stays pretty booked but if you can get in, she’s great and also just a really wonderful person. I always leave happy and looking better than when I came in.

I chose Downtown Smooth Spa because of the reviews I read on line. Even though its over an hour away and could have picked a closer salon, I went with this one for my first Brazilian. I am so glad that I did. Paige was amazing! Of course I was so nervous for my first time but she made me feel very comfortable and talked me through the process. I went in knowing it was going to hurt. Yes it hurt but for only 5 seconds. Paige would also let me know of the more sensitive areas so I would be prepared and to breath deeply to help me relax. Paige is amazing and does a great job! I have my 4th appointment made Keith her and will be booking more services in the future!

I have been going to Kendra and her staff for a few years now and I can tell you that from waxing to facials they are the best. I have had facial for over 40 years and this place takes the time to evaluate your skin, needs, and results. I have had every facial Kendra offers and each one targets a different need for your skin. Kendra and staff are personable, professional, and fast to respond to your needs. Her bikini waxes are one of the most perfect non-painful ones I have ever had. My husband now goes to her for facials every other month and he has been. Happy with his results and the product we buy. He is a daily user of the serum! Her focus was on what was going to make this experience amazing for me and also get results. My experience with Paige comes highly recommended she was professional and knowledgeable and above and beyond what I expected from a facial experience and her massaging during the facial is what set it apart from my past experiences. I have been getting my lower legs sugared at Downtown Smooth since last fall. I love it! I have sensitive skin and I have unexplained eczema on my legs. The sugaring helps the itching more than any cortisone cream, lotion, or oil I have used. I love the results. I have had all three estheticians perform the sugaring and all three are absolutely wonderful! Thank you Kendra, Emily, and Cara for always being so accommodating and great at what you do! They always do a great job, are very professional, and are great at assessing skin care needs and answering your skin care questions. I’ve had issues with extreme itching, which was eventually connected to shaving. I had never had anything waxed before so I was nervous, but willing to try. I found Downtown Smooth Spa online and booked an appointment with Emily. I’ve now seen her three times, and my life is changed. I haven’t had any itching since the first wax. I’ve been getting Brazilians using hard wax every 4-6 weeks for almost 3 years, I’m in Knoxville for a couple months and needed a wax while here, decided to try sugaring instead and I’m SOLD!!! It barely even stings. It was so much more gentle than hard wax. Kendra is super cool and got me in right before a holiday. The place is very clean and relaxing. Highly recommend!

She is the one that introduced me to sugaring. I have always used conventional waxing, but this hair removal treatment is awesome. Less pain, less irritation, and much smoother results! I prefer a Brazilian, and lets be honest, that area can be a bit sensitive. With Emilys knowledge of the products and gentle technique, I can honestly say the pain during my treatment has been significantly reduced.The spa is also great. It had a 5 star review on Google, Facebook, Yelp, and Mapquest which is very rare for any business. Plus, the website was very nice and professional looking. My Sugaring Practitioner was Emily. She made my first experience really wonderful. Im a bigger girl so having anyone see my body makes me very self-conscious, but she made the experience really easy going and kept making sure I was okay. I highly recommend this business.

So like most folks, I found the idea of getting waxed in my nether regions daunting to say the least, not to mention a BRAZILIAN. So after much research and YouTube, I decided that an extended bikini might be the way to go. As a Mom of 3, with a husband, a business, and 2 Boxers, my time is spread thin as it is, so shaving was quickly becoming an after thought. Since I’ve never grown hair on my legs, and very little on my underarms, my experience with waxing has been limited to my eyebrows, and yea that can hurt! That being said, I decided to look at what options would cause me the LEAST amount of discomfort, and what professionals around here did it best! THAT’S what led me to Hanna! Her previous reviews were stellar, and with the fact that she did Sugaring, my decision was made! Well I can certainly attest that Hanna’s incredible reviews are ALL warranted!! She made me feel so comfortable from the minute I walked through the door. She informed me of the options I had regarding waxing, explaining each type, and helped me to realize that my initial decision to go with a Brazilian was indeed what I wanted! She ensured that all my questions were answered, and that I was comfortable and had no concerns. Her room was immaculate, beautiful, and complete with calming music. Once the service began, she was so kind, reassuring, personable and professional, ALL of my anxiety melted away (I was literally sweating when I arrived from anxiety :)). She even asked me if I needed to take a break, and continued to due so throughout the service. That made me feel absolutely cared for, and that it was genuine!
