I got to know Dr. Parsons when I fell from 2 stories up. When I landed my knee bent backwards. After talking to a couple of different Doctors I realized some people are just in it for the money!! Dr. Parsons took the time to explain in detail my options and why, I could tell after our in depth conversation that “He Actually cared.” I still have full use of my knee, He did an Amazing Job!! Since then Dr. Parsons has done surgery on my shoulder and I’m getting ready for surgery on my other one. It’s hard to find the words to express my gratitude to him. It’s because of someone who actually cared that my life didn’t have to stop. My injury happened over a holiday and my daughter made my appointment online for the next morning. We were greeted and put in a room quickly. Upon seeing Dr Parsons he felt like more testing was needed due to my discomfort. I would highly recommend letting Dr. Parsons and his staff take care of you in your time of need.

The Doctor is very very good. He took his time to hear my symptoms, prescrib some solutions and suggest some further tests. However, he was 90 minutes behind schedule. In addition, the computer network went down preventing the Doctor from pulling up my records or my current x-rays limiting his ability to make his diagnosis. It was very convenient to walk over to the hospital for the blood work even though it was after 5:30 PM.

I have always received excellent care and consideration when visiting this office. They seem to personally care about me & whatever my issue and attempt to resolve in best, least painful, way. Highly recommend!!

Dr Parson’s worked us in on an emergency basis. He was booked, but since we were past patients he did us a favor. I had emergency surgery done the day after I saw him. With anyone else I probably would’ve had to wait a week or better. Dr. Parsons is a fine surgeon, he spends time with you and explains all of your options. He has repaired my rotator cuff, and my wife’s knee. Our family personally will hate it when this fine man retires.

I’ve been in the care of TOC for almost 10 years and with Dr. Parsons for some of the most painful times in my life. He is genuinely kind and caring and he is PATIENT. That is so important. He listens without interrupting and he explains his thought process without any condescension. The staff are also very friendly and knowledgeable and they work extremely hard and FAST with insurance companies to make sure your care is not delayed. Two thumbs WAY up!!

Dr Parsons replaced my left knee in April of 2014 so it made perfect sense to me that he also do the replacement of my right knee too. The right knee was replaced three weeks ago by Dr Parsons at Parkwest Medical in Knoxville. I highly recommend both Dr Parsons and Parkwest. Dr Parsons has an excellent bedside manner and is a straight shooter that you can easily talk to as well as understand. I feel very comfortable in recommending Dr Parsons to anyone having joint problems.
