Nice doctors and staff. Bad medical model. I would rather wait longer for my appointments than barely having the time to discuss issues. Also dont appreciate the one issue per appt model. Some things that should be standard for specific types of appointments arent.

Ive had a great experience here. Dr. Bellmore is attentive, thoughtful, listens well, and really makes me feel heard. I did have some issues with imaging (which occurred at a different Summit Medical Center), and Dr. Bellmore helped resolve them. I also have really liked each nurse that has attended me.

If you need to speak with records, forget it! You’ll be placed on hold for hours. If it’s a staffing issue, they need to resolve it. Definitely looking into switching doctors. It shouldn’t be this hard to speak with someone regarding my medical records. Overall the care is decent but I feel like I would be cared for better somewhere else. You can’t call between 9am and 10am due to phone overloads. I have never had this issue with any other provider. Do yourself a favor and look around. There is no sense in waiting hours to speak to someone about something simple.

I have been a patient at this office for 11 years. I cannot even tell you the last time I saw my primary care doctor as he is always too busy to see me. I called on February 2 to make an appointment and was asked if I could come in March as he had no availability. That is insulting. Not only that, but in the last week I have been hung up on twice while waiting on hold and cannot connect with my doctor on the new and improved patient portal. The phone nurse scheduled me to see the AP (assuming she means PA) for a referral to the cardio-ologist. My PCP is completely unaccessible. I would stay away from Summit if at all possible.

Withheld visits and charged me all at once from multiple months my insurance would have paid for. Not once being told I owed money on paper or verbally. Now Im in debt and collections with this office. I can barely afford to live, let alone afford the surprises of this office.

Asked for emergency appointment was told it wasnt an emergency, office manager canceled my appointment. Now I am in the hospital with double pneumonia and sepsis.Long wait times, disorganized, incompetent doctors and nurses. Rude, abusive, lying, dishonest, neglectful staff, nurses, and doctors. Avoid this office all cost its worst than a crowded TennCare office! The worst family doctor and medical office I have ever been to and I have good insurance.Several times I have shown up for my scheduled appointment and they failed to put it in the computer. Despite having it written on the appointment card they did not honor my appointment. I had to take another day off work to come back to be seen.It stays more crowded than in an ER waiting room. The wait time to check in and check out if over 15 minutes each because of disorganization and lack of office staff. Some of their doctors (Dr. Quinn) are very new to medicine and it shows because they are clueless. They drew my blood and didnt run the test. Yes, they lost my blood and never redid it and failed to acknowledge their mistake. I asked for referrals to specialist and they were too lazy to do them.I was sent for imaging after a serious injury and they never got the MRI results. I waited for two months and they still didnt have the results or imaging.Numerous times I requested med refills online through the patient portal they did not fill them. The office manager and phone nurse are hateful, dishonest, and heartless. They neglect your medical needs. When I asked for my records to go to a good, real, family doctor they refused to give them to me.I frequently run out of my regular medicine including emergency Asthma medicine rescue inhaler and nebulizer. Dr. Quinn did not call it in nor did the doctor on call.I have nothing good to say about this clinic everyone there is rude, uncaring, they yell at you for no reason, have very thin skin, act like they are better than you, and belittle patients. They are just in it for the money. There are so many better family care doctors in Knoxville go to them instead of this dump. They discriminate against Autistic patients and those with mental health conditions, chronic health conditions...I asked for the names of other family doctors and was given none. I was told he would give me the legally required 30 supply medicines and see me for emergency appointments. He, however, did not honor this, left me with no medicine, canceled my emergency apportionment, and my monthly injection apportionment. They are very unethical doctors, to say the least. I would not recommend this office or doctor to anyone. I called and asked for my blood results I had been asking for over 2 months. The phone nurse said I was yelling which was a flat out lie. I never raised my voice or yelled at her once not did I have a reason to. She has very thin skin, is Im very sensitive, and weak. She needs to quit her day job. I still have not received my lab results 3 months later.Left me without medicine or medical care during Pandemic.

You are the only family practice clinic listed that is open until 7 PM, and when you call, you say you’re open until five. Different websites give different information and it makes it hard to book with you

The facility itself is gorgeous! I was very taken back upon first arrival. The front desk was full of friendly helpful staff ready to get me checked in. Erin I believe was the name of the nurse who took my blood, she was so gentle I didnt feel a thing and she did it very quickly! I love a nurse who can get my vain on the first try. I met with my new doctor, Angela Meyer MD. She was fantastic! Very sweet, seemed very knowledgeable, asked me lots of questions! She seemed genuinely concerned with some things and has ordered follow up work as needed immediately. She walked me out back to the lobby after our initiate meeting! What doctor does that?? I am so glad I chose Fountain City Family Physicians! 😊

I’ve been going here for a couple of years. The receptionist have messed up a few of my appointments, but I really loved Dr. Bellmore.I received a voicemail from my doctors office yesterday saying I was dropped by doctor Bellmore as patient, and my appointment today was canceled. I was blown away, and called; I was told I had to call corporate about it. I did, and a lady was very rude, cut me off, and said I had to call the doctors office again. I eventually spoke to the office manager, who advised me that I was dropped do to no shows, and not by the company, but by Dr. Bellmore. I missed my appointment last Wednesday, I thought it was Thursday. That’s 100% on me. The other missed appointments they sited were from 2017. One of which, was because the lady at the front desk wrote it down wrong on my appointment card, which my doctor knew about! I completely understand they are a business, and people cannot just not show up. However, all but one were from two years ago. Also, Dr. Bellmore knew that I’m going through an extremely hard time right now, and had just started a new medication a month ago that can have dangerous side effects. This is incredibly irresponsible, and hurtful. When I realized I missed the appointment on Thursday I made one at that time for yesterday. They wait until day of to cancel, unacceptable. The entire reason I was going is because I’m having absolutely terrible side effects from a medication I’m on. What am I supposed to do now? This is so unprofessional, and incredibly upsetting. I was given no warning either. I’ve been a patient for awhile there now, and to be so callously dropped like this is devastating. I know Summit Medical is basically the Walmart of general physcians in Knoxville, and while that makes them very accessible you also get the same amount of care.Jillian MorelandSent from my iPhone

The get me in and out quickly. The receptionist treated me fine. But my Dr treated me like Im shopping for narcotics and am some kind of addict.I am having a double knee surgery at the end of the month. Both my ACL and my MCL are torn. The pain is beginning to be unbearable. I am an at home Father of 3 children, 7, 3 and a 1 year old. I also have stairs in my home. Basically I chase kids around all day and am suffering from a lot of pain. When I asked Dr Katherine Bellmore for help with pain management she basically implied that that I only wanted drugs narcotics was the word she used.Im 45 years old and in pain. I have never had an addiction other than nicotine [quit several years ago] and sugar. Im really into being healthy and train martial arts and weight lifting.Dr Belmore had 0 compassion and probably should find a new line of work.
