Dr. Phillips and his team are amazing!I was nervous visiting a new denist and they took the nervous jitters away, very polite and obvsevent, they made me feel very comfortable, Ive been searching to find a place that could work with me not against me,my journey starts with them and couldnt be more happy and confident.I definitely recommend!

Family Dentistry of Knoxville is top notch! I had a dental emergency while vacationing in Gatlinburg, TN. They made it a point to fit me in even though they were extraordinary busy. Dr. Jason Phillips and his staff are superb!! Lora made me feel that I matter and I needed to be seen ASAP. I tried several other dentists in the Gatlinburg area and they could not fit me in, even though I was in pain. This practice made me feel like family. If this practice was in Maryland, my whole family would be patients at the Family Dentistry of Knoxville! Thank you Dr.Phillips and staff for allowing me to have a wonderful vacation without pain. You all are awesome!!

To give some background I am usually someone who doesnt like going to the dentist. I have sensitive teeth so the experience is usually uncomfortable to me. I contacted Family Dentistry about some tooth sensitivity I was experiencing. Lora helped me get all my information and insurance sent over. She was so helpful and kind. They were able to get me in right away for an appointment even though I was a new patient. I had Lisa as my dental hygienist. She was so sweet and gentle with me. I have never had a better dentist appointment! The employees at Family Dentistry are so informative, kind, and helpful. I could not recommend them more!!

About 4 years ago I was referred to a friend to Dr. Phillips. Pleasant and nice staff. Sadly to say me and the person that referred got bad dental work. Dr. Phillips decided that he was going to do preventitive care and do 4 deep fillings. To say the least all 4 fillings have given me multiple infections, accessed and sensitivity in teeth and had to have two of them pulled. One root canal and crown. And now getting another root canal as we speak all on the moukers he filled. Same as friend who never had any cavities now has implants where where he did the filling. It had not been a week after my service before I was in pain and the then referred had the nerve to referred me to a specialist after he missed up my mouth with no discount to my services to have more work done when he should have never worked on the teeth in question. I also feel its racket with him and these specialist. Especially when I was overcharged. I should have known when he dropped the drill in mouth it was a red flag. Other then teeth cleaning stay away. Worst experience ever from a dental office.

Super nice, friendly staff, however they wanted me to get things done that I didnt need. The costs for the things they wanted me to get were thousands of dollars which I couldnt afford, yet they insisted I do it. I ended up going somewhere else. That was on my first and last visit.

Honestly the staff is super friendly, no complaints on that. But this felt more like A sales office than a dentist. For 21 years I’ve loved going to the dentist. These people try to upsell you on everything. My coworker and friend both went here and said the same exact thing, they went in for a cleaning only to pay $$ and reschedule the cleaning after waiting forever.$95 for a tartar removal which should be something included in a normal cleaning which is why I went there. I walked out 2 hours later with just that and NO cleaning!! Made me schedule to come back in 3 weeks. As a full time employee taking time off it’s already tough, it felt as though they didn’t respect my time or money. They were trying to make every penny they could. Make sure you read all the reviews and the ones on dr Phillips before you go here

When I logged in to leave my review for Dr. Phillips office, I was excited to see all the patients that have had the exceptional experiences I have had. As a business owner, I realize customer service is priority. I saw a review left -like 5 or 6 times by what appears to be the same disgruntled person and could not disagree more! Jill and Laura are both amazing! Jill is always super friendly and helpful. She gets me in quickly and works with my schedule. Laura works hard to make sure I understand my insurance and statements. If insurance doesn’t pay on something, she goes to bat for me and often gets them to reverse their decision and payment is made. Dr Phillips makes me super comfortable and his skills are top notch. Their hygienist Nicole is gentle and explains everything so thoroughly. Love this office!!

Love this office! I always look forward to seeing Dr Phillips and his friendly staff at my appointments. Recently, I needed a new mouth guard and I was so impressed with their new technology - they used a scanner to image my teeth (no yucky impression trays!) and 1 week later I had a mouth guard that fit perfectly.

My dentist is the best! I have never felt more like family in a medical office like I do here. Going to the dentist is already nerve racking but coming into a office where they are patient, kind, and explain every step of the process makes the process so much less stressful. I switched to Family Dentistry of Knoxville a couple years ago after my wife and I had consistently bad experiences elsewhere. Dr. Phillips has been patient and sympathetic, always able and willing to give further explanations for why certain things are happening and how to better avoid them in the future.Jill and Lora have always been welcoming and friendly. They can also be tenacious: when my insurance was being difficult about some charges, they fought it for me until the insurance company conceded and paid.I would recommend Dr. Phillips’s office without a second thought to anyone.

This is just my second visit, but I am hooked! They do a great job, they all know how to talk to patients to make them feel at ease. The woman who is in charge of check out/ money is crooked. The experience with Phillips himself was great but this lady clearly didn’t know what she was doing and when she was proven wrong about a cost, she rolled her eyes and made something else up. Jill who works next to her was also great but the other one, not so much.

I took my son and daughter ages 4 and 2 to see Dr Phillips the other day. The staff was very friendly feom the time of check in to we departed. The dental hygienist was very nice and explained everything that was happening to both my kids in terms they would understand. The dentist is amazing as well he was told my daughter was afraid of something so he went out of his way to make her more comfortable even though it made his job a little harder. Amazing office and staff I highly recommend.

Was charged $45 for a visit I wasnt able to make it to. Tried to apologize and reschedule but they wont remove the $45 fine. Would understand if we did it more then 1 time but this was the first time! Go somewhere else that understands life happens sometime and gives courtesy call to remind patients of the appointment times.

Beware of positive reviews because he provides free equipment to positive reviewera.My experience was a nightmare. Receptionist announced my social security number to the waiting room and didnt think it was a big deal in addition to being incredibly rude. He performed unauthorized treatment without discussing the cost, then billed even though my daughter received an infection and has to have the work redone because her tooth is still hurting. Apparently, they have to keep a lawyer on retainer because when I called to complain about being over-billed the receptionist referred me to their attorney.
