The procedure went very smoothly. I left there that day with the partials in.Affordable dentures is an amazing place to do business. The dentist is as good as there is. Most of the staff is wonderful. The lite Christian music wears on you after a bit. The staff falls to understand that its harder for some patients to schedule extra appointments. Also they were often unclear whether the next appointment was all that was needed - it took 4 appointments over 2 days to get my final dentures, and nobody explained that to me in advance; I was led to believe that each next appointment would be my last (I expected 2, then 3, and finally it took 4).

I have had a wonderful experience with Affordable Dentures & Implants this far. I still have a few more appointments to go yet. I would definitely recommend them to anyone that need their services. (Note: I would like to suggest that they would offer free adjustments for the life of your Dentures.)

I had a wonderful experience at Affordable Dentures in Knoxville!! All of the staff were very eager to make my dentures fit perfectly!! They did several fittings to make sure everything was exactly right. I had previously went to the sevierville location of Affordable Dentures, which was a big mistake!! Worst place ever! Would not recommend in any circumstance. They didnt do a good job for me and would not fix the dentures. They didnt fit and the size and height wasnt right i got a reline for them from store and then they broke down side from front to back. Got a repair kit for that for now. Hate the way they look too, make me look old. Dont waste your time or money. Save and go to a professional, wish i had now. Maybe one day Ill be able to replace them.

I could not be more pleased with my experience. Everyone was helpful, attentive and kind. I needed a tooth repair in my upper denture and the lab did a beautiful job. Frankly, they did a better job than the dentist who originally created my denture. When the time comes that I need new dentures, I will be using Affordable Dentures. Ps. The cost was very reasonable. Thank you to all those I came in contact with and whomever worked on my denture in the lab.

Dr. Orr is wonderful. He was great from the consultation all the through the procedure to getting the denture. He is gentle and gets it done fast. He makes certain you are comfortable and numb during the procedure. I have had nothing but good experience everytime I’ve been. I have one more appointment in February to get my permanent denture. My only complaint would be that when I went to my very first consultation I was quoted a price. When I called to set up the appointment which was about 5 months later due to it costing more than I had saved at the time of my consultation. They told me on the phone my quoted price was no longer and they added a extra $700 to my total price. But other than that hiccup I’ve had all good experiences with AD and Dr. Orr

Dr. Orr is an excellent dentist! I was very afraid to have the procedure, but the medicine they give you works wonders! If youre worried about it, ask for pills and nitrous and you wont feel anything. He works very fast and I didnt have any pain afterwards. I highly recommend him, especially if you are anxious.

I called about a tooth coming out of my plate. They set an appointment for 10 am on Thursday, which was the next day. It is a 1 1/2 - 2 hour drive for me. They came out got my plate , went in and then told us it would be ready at 3:45 pm and reminded us they close at 4 pm. My wife spoke with Angela (who is a very cheerful and helpful person), and asked if she could pick them up the next day since we have such a long drive and didnt want to spend the whole day in Knoxville. Angela said that would be fine. Then on Friday morning at 9:45 am they called and asked if I planned to pick them up that day. My wife said that she planned to be there about noon. She was told she had to be there by 11:30 am, because they were closing early and would be closed all next week. So, my wife hurries up there and arrives at 11:25 am. She calls like the signs plastered all over the windows say to do and the call goes to the corporate answer service. So she goes inside and no one is at the desk. She goes back out and calls again. She is on the phone with corporate when an employee comes to the door to lock it from the inside. She waves to get her attention and explains why she is there. The employee acted like it was an inconvenience for her to go back in and get the plate. My wife says Thank you and the employee just turns to leave. She was very rude and put out that she had to do her job. I think we will see about finding a different Affordable Dentures to transfer to until the warranty is out on my plates. We will not return to them for another plate when the warranty is out.

I was there 06-17-21 to see if an area was healing because it would hurt and then it would be ok. Then it would hurt again. Girl said it was just from healing and looked fine. I didnt have to wait long at all to be seen at my appointment time.I showed her where it was turning blackish brown where it had been relined. She asked if I drank coffee or tea which I dont. I told her it looked like it was showing through my back teeth. I was asked if I was cleaning teeth and I said of course! Im disappointed nothing was done with this issue! I dont go back again until August. I hope they dont get any darker and show through on my temp denture!

From the moment the lady met me at the car with my paperwork all the way until my exray, impression and procedure. everyone was so nice but yet so professional...Dr Orr is amazing by the way. He was so nice gentle as possible and very professional. He went out of his way to help me get the package that I was wanting and Im so grateful for him. They are way over price. To pull my teeth it was $7,000 the health department did it for 1,100. Don’t waste your money especially if you are on a budget. Lastly the dentures they price to you on the phone and website might as well go ahead and add $1,000 to that.

Very informative about what has to e done.Dr was very respectful to my situation...update on my dentures I went in for my two week soft reline on the 18 of August. By the time I got home I started feeling sick by the time afternoon I was so sick I couldnt raise my head I stayed in bed for 5 days.This August 23 and can just get out of bed .idk what is in that reline stuff but I had a bad reaction to it. Calling today to see what can be done

Paid for custom dentures but got standard. Compared them to my old ones which were standard and they are IDENTICAL!! Finally reached them and made appointment to have the bottom denture redone. Now VERY pleased and they fit perfectly.

I had a broke front tooth and needed a bottom denture and they had my top tooth fixed within an hour and my whole bottom denture done the same afternoon. I have been terrified of the dentist for as long as I can remember. Yesterday I had 29 teeth pulled. The wonderful staff could tell my fear and did everything they could to be calming and comforting. I felt no pain and only mild soreness this morning. I am so proud of my new smile!

Dr. Orr pulled 3 of my back teeth and I cannot recommend him enough. All of the staff was very friendly and Dr. Orr is gentle and extremely kind. Everything went smoothly at this practice and even without me having dental insurance at the time of extraction, everything from the extraction itself to my prescriptions afterward was completely affordable.

EDIT: They really impressed me with a denture lab re-align and fixed everything perfectly! I am sorry to have even doubted them. They are incredible even if you think they dont care.. i promise you they really do and will fix your dental issues.Id also add that i started getting teeth pulled in west knox for $180 each and each pull took about 5-8 mins or so. But when i west here instead, tooth pulls were less than half price and took a quarter of the time. All in all was probably less painful too! Go here if you need dental help!!!!EVERYTHING BELOW WAS MY ORIGINAL REVIEW WITH THREE STARS OUT OF FIVE.. I WAS WRONG!These guys get the job done but do not communicate very well, even when i was asking questions. Speaking of not communicating they usually do not answer the phone. So i called the number on google maps here (apparently their corperate number) to reschedule and make adjustments to the appointment. When i went in they said they cannot do what i agreed to on the phone. I dont want to list every complaint i have but they could also explain what they are doing to my teeth before they do it better. I just abandoned my dentures until my finals because they are bulky with the soft lining which i never needed. So many problems. Hopefully my final dentures in 6 months will be thinner and more tolerable.

If youve read bad reviews of Affordable Dentures, then you went to the wrong one. Dr. Orr and his staff on the east side of Knoxville, TN, are wonderful. I had seven extractions and immediate dentures on my upper and I cant say enough good things about my experience. I believe each office is franchised so Im sure they arent all the same, but if you live in or around Knoxville and need dentures please dont hesitate to give them a call.
