Wife Review: As a first time customer at SmartStyle my wife wasnt disappointed getting a permanent wave. The staff are warm, friendly, and professional. Patricia, their operator, suggested an alternate process due to dry brittle hair. She recommended changing shampoo and using curl lock moisturizer for aftercare. The perm looked great for date night as shown in my photos. A+ 5 stars

Went in to ask about hair coloring services and the lady that “answered” me was the rudest person I’ve encountered in my life. She wouldn’t let me speak and even reached out to me and TOUCHED AND PULLED on my hair to make “her point” of me needing bleach. I’ve colored my hair plenty of times even in other salons without needing to bleach it but this woman was just obsessed with bleaching my hair, and she wouldn’t even let me talk. She was fighting me in front of other customers. Absolute horrible customer service.

All the ladies have always done an excellent job with root color touch ups and highlights. 💗God bless! Xiomara did this on Tuesday. Had 4 months of black/grey roots.

I HAD A TALK WITH THE OWNER AND SHE ONLY SAID “IM SORRY”... ANOTHER EMPLOYEE WAS ABLE TO DO IT THE RIGHT WAY THIS TIME, BUT AGAIN I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR MY HAIR TO GROW FOR HER TO DO A HORRIBLE JOB... THIS OWNER NEEDS TO TEACH EMPLOYEES HOW TO MAKE DECISIONS IF SHE IS NOT THERE, ALSO TEACH THEM WHEN ITS THE RIGHT TIME TO CALL THE OWNER, THE EMPLOYEE DID KNEW HOW TO HANDLE THE SITUATION I WAS AN ANGRY CLIENT, ALSO SHE WAS MENTIONING THAT THIS SAME WEEK SHE HAD TO FIX ANOTHER CLIENT WITH THE SAME ISSUE, I WILL NEVER EVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE, HAIR ITS A REALLY IMPORTANT FOR US WOMAN AND THE FACT THAT THEY DESTROYED THAT ITS NOT COOL AT ALL...IF YOU STILL WANT TO TRY IT THATS UP TO YOU, AGAIN, I WILL NEVER GIVE THIS PLACE ANOTHER OPPORTUNITY!

Don’t go here if you like your hair. She did not understand me at all and it was very simple she cut half my hair . And gave me bangs . When I said same length v style layers with face framing pieces. I don’t think I look bad but but she completely ignored my request and did what she wanted . But it was my fault for going to a salon in Walmart 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

First time coming in to fix my quarantine hair and let me tell you Crystal did a PHENOMENAL job. From a botched color I did at home I was afraid to color without further damaged but she was very thorough and consistent and her customer service was stellar. Thank you for making me feel pretty. Got an awesome haircut from Patricia! She worked with my curly hair effortlessly and was super nice. She cut off one inch and then put in long layers. The receptionist was very kind as well. Definitely recommend this hair salon!

My hair stylist that I always love going to do my hair is Yuderka. She does a very great job and is very professional. I normally don’t like doing my hair with just anybody because it takes the right person to know how to handle different hair types. I highly recommend Yuderka all types of hair. I make my appointments every 3 months and would not go to anyone else but her to do my hair.

I took my mom there and it was a disaster, i told the manager there what happened & that a walmart rep called Brandy emailed us and promised to send a complimentary hair cut fix. That never happened. We were lucky the Gentleman there knew my mom and fixed her hair however it wasnt comped at all. At least my mom looked way better. my email is [email protected]. Not a good experience....

I give it a 5 star review because of my Stylist Iriz. I’ve been coming to her for the past 7 years , she listens and sees my vision with my hair. I’ve had long wavy cuts , colored different tones and I have embraced my short hair with greys in this season of my life.

Amazing stylist by the name of Yuderka, wonderful to work with listens, and is honest. Ask for her and have no regrets!!

I consulted with the hair dresser Marisol and a person who seemed to be the manager, about the new hair color I wanted, they both advised it would be expensive (over $230). The hair dresser instead suggested a cheaper alternative to get the same effect of the image I showed her and was more than positive it would come out looking the same anyways. So I agreed and trusted her confidence. Once she finished washing off the dye, I noticed the back part of my hair was a silver/white color, other parts of my hair yellow, and other areas almost an orange color. When I told her, she tried to brush it off by saying well I think it looks nice, plus everyone now a days use a variety of hair colors. What in the world? Its not what I wanted, I showed her pictures of how I wanted it from the beginning, she shouldnt have guaranteed a result she should have known she couldnt deliver. $180 down the drain and no one else wants to try to fix the mess she created.

Iriz was precise, detailed, and down to earth to talk with! She did outstanding work with my haircut and made sure I was satisfied with it. It was first time, and definitely wont be my last.

Front desk lady was respectful but the lady named Alba that did my son’s hair did a terrible job on cutting his hair.

I went to this place two days ago looking for a hair color change and I was attended by Yuderka. I had black hair and I wanted a change to red and she did a great job. She went above and beyond what I was expecting, believe me from now on she will be my hair stylist. Thanks Yuderka you were amazing!!!!!

I visit this smart style location 1-3 times a month specifically for the hair stylist Yuderka. She is the best one there. She took my hair from being damaged and green looking from hair dye to being healthy and blonde. After a year of no growth my hair is finally growing. Anything and everything she suggest I do and it actually works. I love her. She’s nice and always goes out of her way to make sure She’s available to me and make sure I’m left happy. Salon was clean, front desk was attentive as soon as I walked in and did not have to wait for my haircut. Patricia cut my hair and did a phenomenal job, very satisfied with the whole experience.

Always love going there, my stylist is the best. She always takes good care of my hair and suggests what needs to be done to keep my hair healthy. Prices are great compared to other places, early morning or late afternoon is the best times, there is less people.

Typical Wal-Mart salon. Went in with pictures and lots of explanation of what I wanted and ended up with something totally not expected. I wish the employees would do two things. . . . 1 please learn English and 2 quit talking to each other and your phones and pay attention to the customer. I will never return to this location again. This is the 2nd bad experience for me.

Dont remember her name, but the blonde hairstylist came up to me asked me if I had been there before I said no, she took my info down said I needed a wash I knew I did, when I sat down for the wash she asked me if I wanted to get the deep conditioning treatment added, I said NO very clearly, and she STILL did it. She just wanted to upcharge me for everything, I wont go to her EVER again.

Terrible! Rude stuffs, Edwin and Sonia cut hair like 10 year old children. Cut my hair way shorter than I asked and has no layers. Hair is one of the important look in beauty. Now Im so sad and ashamed to go out with this hair cut. When I walked no one greated us, before haircut, he said I was going to ask where are you from with frowny face and after the cut he didnt even ask if I liked the haircut. He said stuffs in spanish with coworkers, so rude!!!. I still tipped them more than 20% but they ignored me until the end and didnt even say thank you. Kept talking in Spanish and rolling their eyes. Dont ever ever go there. It will be waste of your time, money, and most preciously your hair and beauty!!
