Awful, I went in a week ago, i had very long hair, not a whole lot of layers. I wanted more layers. We discussed the haircut, she seemed to have understood what I wanted, I thought she couldn’t mess that up. Kelly was extremely nice and likable as a person. Once hair was washed she started cutting. It all seemed fine but then she turned the chair away from the mirror and started drying my hair. As she was drying she was still cutting which was fine. She asked if I wanted it styled, she offered to curl it and again I was fine with that. Once she started curling it she kept cutting and this whole time I was still facing away from the mirror. Once she was done and I saw the finished product I was a bit surprised because the curls she did were not what I have pictured but that was fine too. It wasn’t until I got home that I started realizing how butchered my hair was. All my front and side hair was short and just butchered and I had a few long pieces left in the back… really long compared to the front half. No layers just 2 very different lengths lol. I had it fixed at a reputable salon and the stylist confirmed that the back was in pretty rough shape too. Again Kelly was as sweet as can be as a person but I love my hair and it takes a while to grow so I felt an obligation to be honest with my review and maybe save someone from a bad haircut. Please see first pic taken right after I left the salon ( the curls masked a whole lot of the cut) and the other pics were taken after washing it. I now suspect that I was turned from the mirror and had my hair styled with the purpose of fooling me.

I cannot rate this salon highly enough. The professional and polite service from everyone in the salon is excellent. Joy Butterly is a skillful artist. She is not only a very talented hair stylist, but an attentive one, always looking at the small details with me. It’s a “Joy” to come every month and feel renewed and restyled. Thank you so much.

So last week I brought my daught alicia n I to this lovely establishment. We had a great experience and learned a lot about our own hair. Miss joy did a great cut and blow to my daughter ( who did not want to cut her long hair mind u) and I had my hair highlighted n died for the first time at a salon. Mind you we came in last minute and was treated with respect and patience. I learned so much about my own hair n how to maintain my color and what was good n bad for our hair. Great stylists and convenient location near Target and the Margaritaville Resort Orlando. Kelly and Joy both do a wonderful job of listening and creating the exact style I am looking for; Kelly additionally cuts my sons hair and he loves it!

Priya is an absolutely amazing person. Now Ill speak of her specialty on hair, precision was her goal in every facet of the process. She was incredibly knowledgeable, gifted, patient, attention to detail, gentle, calming/soothing to me, reassuring to me, every step of the way.[Highlights & Brazillian Blowout]I cant thank her enough, as I have cptsd, which makes trusting someone to my hair, very difficult.. It helped that her personality was of a caring nature.The salon overall deserves 100 (not 5) points for the beautiful people working there.Thank you, I definately highly recommend this stylist, and salon. Rebecca is absolutely insane! She cannot take constructive criticism, I kept my cool and she would not stop talking or let me get a word in, utterly defensive. She is the most defensive Karen I have had the dishonor to run into. There are many other great salons and I feel horrible for her employees since she can act in such a deranged loony way to the paying public. Becky; what goes around comes around. Karma.

I had color correction done here and a root touch up with a hair cut everything was really good and the younger staff was so pleasant. Unfortunately I did not have the same experience when I called.Previously I had talked to them about doing hair extensions how much they would cost who could do them I was told nobody in that store can do sew in hair extensions. They also recommended me to a lady who used to work for them but has moved salons they were very kind informative trying to help me save money to order the hair myself and then only pay for the instalment. When I called I got none of this information the lady was rude and nasty on the phone she was trying to weigh overcharge me told me that they can only buy the hair from their distributor which not a surprise there they overcharged by hundreds of dollars she’s trying to tell me to install the hair its self is up to $800 what a rip off I’ve never heard of that the instalment price is $100 per hour so unless it would take this lady eight hours to do my hair that’s unrealistic she was trying to quote me at more than $1200. I really liked this salon experience too bad the owner made me never wanna go back.

Melody Joy cut and styled my hair and I love it! I have very fine straight hair and wanted a short, easy hair style because I swim everyday but still want it to look good. Joy delivered all of that. I have had problems with stylists blending the cuts so it didnt look choppy and Joy was able to do this expertly. I have a stylist in Florida! So happy. Thank you Joy!!!

Should have realized when I called it wouldnt be good. Too busy for correct name. Connie Coss turned into Tani Closs tried to explain what I needed to busy to listen. I get there and Priya doesnt know how to trim 1/8 off short hair. She tried and was very sweet but a waste of $59 plus tip. Would never recommend this place..

Joy did my hair color today and it came out SO AMAZING. Better than I could have ever hoped. Also her and the entire staff I came in contact with were so nice! Such a friendly atmosphere! Highly recommend Joy. Joy truly is a JOY to be around!

AVOID THIS SALON AT ALL COST!!! I had the worst experience of my life here due to the owners terrible customer service. I was not pleased with my hair from my first appointment, so I reached out to the owner who did not personally respond to me but instead had a receptionist call me to set up an appointment to correct my hair. The salon then shut down due to coronavirus, and I just got to having my hair revised today. When booking the appointment I was once again informed it would be corrected free of charge, as well as when I entered the salon I was told I was going to have it corrected without cost. It was not until I was having my hair washed in the rinsing bowl that I was approached by a stylist who was informing me the owner is now offering me 20% off my services today because I didnt book it RIGHT when the salon reopened. I was told if I had booked the appointment two weeks ago then it would have been done for free. WHAT?! Had I known I was going to be charged, I would not have booked the appointment -- let alone being told there was suddenly going to be a charge after the services had already been completed. My boyfriend was unhappy about this happening to me so he gave the salon a call, in which the owner completely lied to him saying I got additional services in the form of a full highlight when I in fact only received a partial highlight today. The best she could do is offer me 20% off my next visit. This wont be needed because I certainly will not return to a salon who doesnt care about customer satisfaction. I ended up paying a total of $500 just for a partial highlight to be done the correct way. I would seriously stay far away from this salon, she has no ethics whatsoever and its a complete nightmare.

I needed a hair cut and color very badly, due to the quarantine. I booked an appointment and I’m so happy I did. The entire staff is warm and friendly. Priya is so sweet, she took the time to listen to what I wanted and really took the time to make sure I was happy. The salon is clean and very professional. I will be going back here for sure! 🥰

I had a noon appt. I scheduled 3 weeks prior. So not a walk in. On the day of my appt. Sept 17, I was called and asked to come at 12:45 as Joy was running late. When I arrived I was told she was just finishing up her prior appt. Well the prior was still being shampooed, hardly just finished. Then I watched the blowout style begin. Told once more she was just finishing which was I obviously not the case. Anyway after waiting 20 minutes, I told the young man at the desk I had to leave . What I found maddening was the fact I had been texted several times to keep my appt a d confirm. Really?????? I need to be there but they have no regard for my time.

I went there first time last week. Joy was my hairdresser and I tried explain to her what type of cut I wanted and she nailed it. It’s hard for me to explain how I want my hair, but she did it better than I expected.

I’m here for a couple of months from Minnesota and was concerned about finding someone to do my color and cut, but was so happy to find this place. The receptionist was so friendly and actually got me in the same day. The stylist, Shalon, was so friendly and was able to match my color and do a great job with my hair. I was so relieved as I have gone to the same person for many years so wasn’t sure what to expect. I highly recommend this salon.

Im extremely happy with my platinum blonde color touch-up, style and blow dry.I made a very last minute appointment and was welcomed into the salon with open arms. Theres great WiFi so I was able to get a lot of work done and they even offered me coffee.Grand total was $215 + tip for bleach color, toner, blow dry, and style. Expensive, but its worth it to not have brassy hairs. Remember to check-in on Yelp (oops! I forgot!) and youll get a 10% off coupon.Highly recommend to all my blondes passing through Orlando!

Been to the salon several times, and each time theyre always so friendly and welcoming! When I went today, the stylist was too busy focusing on placing her lunch order and ended up cutting off 10 inches instead of the 3 she told me she was. She didnt do any the styling we talked about- just hacked it off. When I called and talked to the owner, she asked me to come back in that day so she could see it and fix it. She took the time to make sure it was the best cut, despite me being unhappy with the length. She even insisted on refunding the cut I had payed for earlier. Although I wont be using the initial stylist again, I would return because the rest of the staff is wonderful.

After many good reviews and not getting a haircut in two years I decided to give this salon a shot. I have tried over a dozen salons in the area over the years and always ended up back at the cheap place because none of them could ever give me a reason to justify paying that much for a hair cut. Today that all changed. I was Leslies last customer, and a new client who had zero idea what I wanted. She could have very well just done a simple quick cut and sent me on my way, Im sure, it being a Saturday, she had better places to be. Instead she talked with me, got an idea of what I wanted, asked questions, and I knew from the very moment she started, she was meticulous in her cutting. Ive never had a stylist cut like that before. I knew I was receiving quality work and hospitality worth paying for, and to be honest isnt outrageously priced either. So thank you Leslie! I felt pampered today and for an exhausted mom, thats a huge deal. You rock lady!

Although the staff was nice, I came in looking to get ONLY my ends dyed and a simple trim for $120. Now I am in no way, shape or form an expert with hair so I had no idea what a highlight meant (I thought It was a treatment or something to make my hair look better) I told the stylist a BUNCH of times I wanted to keep my natural hair and that I didnt want blonde at all. Somehow at the end of it all my hair turned out blonde with red highlights. Not what I wanted. After they color corrected (my hair is really dark now from my usually stawberry blonde) my hair they said I had to pay $270 which is absolutely ridiculous. There was no way of paying less, I will never go here again. Poor customer service.

Disney tourist here, needed a trim and had no idea where to go. I booked an appointment at The Salon by Rebecca Juarez with Shina and she exceeded my expectations. My stacked bob came out better than my own stylist back home. Shina listened to me, then took her time...she is a professional!What a pleasant surprise.

I was looking for nice hair cut place in Celebration area since I moved in FL last month. and I found this place from online to try.Staff were nice and friendly , hair stylist took care of my hair really carefully and done what I wanted.Since some of hair cut place dont include hair wash service, this place was good they include hair wash after cut.I think I found good hair cut place in Celebration area and Ill visit again!!

If I could give 0 stats I will, I had an appointment with Shina today and it’s been the most unprofessional service I ever had, she left me seating on the chair so she could go talk on the phone, I waited at least 10 minutes for her to say something but she kept talking stupid stuff on the phone. Apparently her phone call was more important than providing a service. I’m definitely not coming back to this place.

I just googled Salons by me and I decided to give this one a chance. I came in as a walk in and I didnt even have to wait for than 5 minutes. Tiana was the one who cut my hair and she did an amazing job! I was very pleased with their customer service and defiantly will be coming back!!!!

My sister and I were just on vacation here last week and decided to get our hair done. We both went for cuts but I wanted to color mine in purple. My sister has pancreatic cancer and I was doing it for her. She hasnt smoked in a few months but Rebecca made her grin, giggle, and look even MORE BEAUTIFUL.She did such an amazing job with my color that I cried true tears of joy. I just want to thank her and her precious receptionist for the best experience of our trip.

Just moved to the area permanently and needed a cut and color. I called The Salon at the last minute when I had some unexpected time and was told to come in. I met with Donna who did my hair and cut my son’s hair also. Donna was fantastic, very friendly and we will definitely be returning.

I’ve been visiting THE Salon for two years and leave looking my best each time! Becky and her team do a wonderful job making me feel at home during each visit. I highly recommend visiting THE Salon if you’re in the Orlando area!

This is absolutely a joke. The company on Parkway Plaza will not receive any money and we will not recommend this place to anyone. Heres the beginning: appointment was made and we showed up ready to get out hair cut. It was with Andrea, who honestly should have never received her cosmetology license. When cutting my fiances hair first, she did not have the knowledge to cut a hard part into his hair, even with the fact that a line already existed and all she had to do was take the clippers and go along the same line. Notice I did not put an s on line. Instead, she makes a separate line so now he has two lines on the side of his head. His hair was not even cut one length.Lets move on to mine. Same concept, hard part but this time because I instructed her to do so she did make only one line. Didnt wet hair when cutting it so again, it was uneven and there were still lines in my hair from the hat I wore previous. She blamed it on me for wearing a hat. Then as I realize, she didnt even cut the hair the same length. After explaining we do not get hair cuts often bc we are growing hair for wedding, she has messed up what we have worked for months trying to do. This is only the beginning.My fiance contacted first to try to resolve the issue and the snobby receptionist continued to disrespect him and hang up on him. She then threatened to contact police because she stated it was harassment. Sorry sweetie, but nobody is harassing you. You were paid for a service which we were not satisfied with. We will be contacting the Better Business Bureau and doing everything to make sure that everyone in the area knows of this salon and how unprofessional they are. Do not recommend this place to anyone. Use with caution

I had my hair cut into a bob by (hopefully I have the hairdressers name right) Joanne.....I had been on holiday in Orlando and to say the very least my hair was more than dry and unmanageable from the sun and humidity and waterparks when I approached the salon... My hairdresser was so so nice to me and listened to what I wanted .She gave such an amazing cut that I felt so confident as I continued the rest of my holiday in Miami...Back in Dublin now and I have to say the cut speaks for itself, and I can manage to blowdry it very well.... I have never had such a terrible experience at a salon! I hate to ever complain but it got to the point I wanted to walk out of getting my hair cut. The hair dresser even though very sweet kept asking repeatedly if my hair looked fine and it was uneven each time and I had to keep telling her to fix it. She then chose to get someone else to do my hair who then questioned me and gave me attitude as if I was wrong to say my hair was uneven and I just wanted someone to get it right. It was the most uncomfortable situation and I feel so embarrassed about my hair cut and feel disgusted with how I was questioned to complain about my hair. I had to buy scissors and fix it myself.

We went here to get my husbands haircut. There was no one there and their website says walk-ins welcomed. When we first walked in they were pleasant enough, but once I told them he needed a cut and beard trim, they said they dont do beards. As soon as I said we still wanted the haircut, they said they were booked and unable to cut his hair today. This would not have been an issue as it was not what they said but how it was said. Needless to say we went some where else.

I haven’t had the best experiences with people cutting my hair. My mom went to cosmetology school and I never really liked how she did it, I’ve been to Ulta a few times, and I even went to a salon in downtown that is apparently considered the best in Orlando? None of them compare to the job done by Priya at this Salon. I’ve always felt awkward getting my hair done, and she made it so easy and chill that I had no trouble talking to her. She did exactly what I asked for, unlike the place downtown who talked me into something I didn’t want, and she made it look good! I’m so happy with the results and I’ll definitely be coming back to see her. I’ve finally found someone I can trust. ☺️

I had a hair appointment for a quick cut and style with Priya. The salon is clean but on a Saturday morning at 11:00 there was only one other client there. I don’t know if my stylist was new to cutting hair but she couldn’t even part my hair straight. After multiple attempts she just handed me the comb to do it myself. I was just having a couple inches cut off and adding long layers with face framing. She handled most of the cutting fine, but the framing seemed to be beyond her abilities and after trying to explain it to her (it’s cutting the hair in the front diagonally down a bit toward the shoulders) she had to get a more senior stylist to do it, who did it in two seconds. I usually give a business 3 tries before writing them off, but I will not be back.

I flew in from Chicago and needed a last minute appointment for hair and make up. They accommodated me by switching a client around, it helped so much! A salon that really listens. My stylist was Stephanie Cortez and she was amazing! My hair and make up came out better than the picture I brought in!!

This review is just based on the customer service. Walked in and was told, rather rudely, that they didnt have anyone available. Didnt offer to make me an appointment, nothing. There are better solutions, go elsewhere.

Lovely stylist Natasha but nasty receptionist that kept watching and commenting about she could not dry my hair unless I paid $45. Natasha tried to tell her I needed to see the color and the receptionist kept telling her that was not allowed unless I paid more. My service was already $125 and I said I could not pay that for a blow dry and left with wet hair. What a shame this could have been a nice salon.

Great place for womens, and girls haircuts.. My daughter had a very badd tangle in her hair and we had to do the best we can to keep it as long as possible without having to cut it too short and get rid of the terrible tangle and they did a great job...

Faith is a very talented hair stylist. She is personable and communicates well.
