Dr Chan and the staff at Overlake Clinic are a great team. Having been a patient of Dr Chan’s for the past few years, I can honestly say she is a kind and thorough practitioner. Her nursing assistant Bella is focussed on giving the best care possible and is always friendly. It’s nice to see some changes on front desk, with warm and welcoming staff members. For someone that hates going to the Dr, the staff at Overlake makes the process easy.

Absolutely great customer service - I was able to get a last minute appointment with my family doctor Sean Yang.During the visit - Dr.Sean provided a great overview of my health concerns and he has recorded a great future plan over my health activities/concerns. Dr. Sean was also went over best health practices, exercising habits, and lifestyle. Sean is very committed to his services - I was very aspired to take care of myself and my family after Sean statements and guidance over self-care.I highly recommend Dr. Sean to any of future patients whom looking for a great service and outstanding doctor care!

This place is so shady. When trying to make an appointment for general physicals if you want to ask about any medical conditions they try to book you for two back to back appointments and charge for two visits. Failed healthcare system...

The doctor is great but the admin people are terrible. People work from Monday to Friday so sometimes we will be late. But so nice that they will just cancel your appointment if you are 10 mins late. How can you become a primary care clinic if you have such little flexibility for working families? The agent on the call doesn’t care about your situation and they only look at open slots, nothing else.

10 mins late to my appt in the busy mid-morning, summertime road construction hours, coming to Kirkland from Snohomish for a 5 min prescription status check...the front desk would not allow me to see the Dr. due to a full schedule. I was the sole patient in the waiting room.I needed a little grace, as we all might someday, and they wanted me to reschedule. Thanks administrative assistant...not returning.

My husband and I needed new primary care doctors since our previous one left the system. We are both RNs and fairly well aware of medical treatment. We both chose Dr. Yang. He has been very professional, informative, patient, and knowledgeable. The office is also well run and professional. I cant help but to question some of the negative reviews. Our experience has certainly been nothing like that described.

My long time physician retired a few years ago and I had to find a new doc. He finished up his career at this clinic so I just took the first one available. Im glad I did. I got Dr. Anna Murthy and she is awesome!Very thorough, very competent with a good empathetic relationship to her patients. I.e everything you want in a personal doctor.Staff is courteous and Ive never had an issue with insurance or billing. One chart makes communication very easy. I can frequently avoid going in just by asking a few questions through messaging.

Dr. Christy Chan is fantastic. Caring, professional and responds to messages very quickly.

This is the worst clinic I have ever been to. 9 months later and they still have not finalized a referral for a pain clinic after dozens of calls and even after speaking with the referral coordinator and Care team supervisor who swore up and down they would follow through until everything was finished, called today and it is still not done. Try to talk to some woman named Andrea Turner at overlake corporate who handles complaints, she could not have been more dismissive . These people need to get a fat lawsuit for criminal negligence and malpractice dropped on them

I was worried about the reviews of this place. But I did an appointment with Christine Nguyen. Everything went good, everyone was super kind since the reception, the nurse and Christine. Christine was super nice, She listened to all my concerns and She answered all my questions. The only thing, I didnt like the phone service for doing the appointment but I already have access to the web system so its not a problem anymore, Ill definitely return to this place with Christine :)

They gave my personal information to a collecting agency while my bill was paid off by my insurance company more than 2 months ago.Before that, I called their business department and told them my insurance company was working on my bills, and they said they would take the bill off from my responsibility. And clearly they never did.Can someone tell me if its illegal for them to do so?

Ive been a regular at overlake clinics for annual physical exams. I have always been to the Bellevue location in past and they are very helpful and give a smooth appointment scheduling and exam experience.The Kirkland location on the other hand is very rude and inflexible, they seem to have quotas for new patients in Kirkland location, take a long time in entering basic information and overall try to avoid you instead of help you.

The care was average. The billing was terrible. I made an appointment to establish care with a primary care provider. They told me the appointment would be covered as preventative care, but changed the billing category to a general office visit. I worked with several people from the billing department and was finally transferred to the branch manager for Kirkland and Redmond, Cece Stovall. Cece told me she would contact the branch to fix the mistake. Two weeks letter I got a call from a collections agent. She didnt follow up. She didnt return my emails. She just sent me to collections. Im glad there are other options in the area.

They are sending my father home to die because “they don’t treat cancer patients”. The most inhuman and cruel treatment one could come across in a place where compassion and understanding is expected. God help anyone who ends up in this hospital. Stay away!!!

Dr. Yinug is the MOST amazing Dr. my husband and I have ever had. He takes time to talk to you and explain things...will spend as much time answering as many questions as you have. With him you are not just another $ you are a person with a problem.

Very thorough staff, checked up on everything for me when I went in for physical. Highly recommend this clinic over any UW medicine clinic

My tape for my thumb splint tore and walked in and they retaped it and sent me on my way. No charge at all.The only negative I could say was overlake ER did an X-ray and they did an x ray and the urgent care. I assume this has more to do with the doctor wanting to double check as a precaution so no negatives on my part for that.

If you are looking for family care, except a system that does not care about their patients wellbeing, comfort, or schedule. In an effort to provide scalability to their routines and revenue, all bedside manner and empathy for the patient is completely compromised.

IMO: Feels more like I’m at a mechanic getting my 60K maintenance. Anyways

Their testing service providers will bill you separately. Their business office hours are from 9AM until 3PM Monday through Friday ONLY. The service itself was fine.

I have been a patient at Overlake for most my life. I loved my Doctors over the years. Especially Aloysius Yinig. When he left I went with one of the others at Kirkland. I was told immediately they would no longer prescribe the bipolar meds I had been taking successfully since 1989. Said I had to see a psychiatrist. (for legal reasons, they became more afraid of lawyers than desire to care for long time patients) So I made a appointment at Overlake Psychiatric outpatient clinic. I checked they took my insurance and was told yes. I had to wait 2 months for an appointment. The day before appointment they said, Oh we dont take your insurance $75.00 no show or $425.00 to see doctor. With no guarantee they would prescribe that day. I was running out of meds in 3 weeks. panicky, terrified, called them all and my insurance company, crying. NO compassion from Overlake. 10 days after I sent an email to primary care, he tells me he can help one time. This was 10 days of panic and crying. And his staff knew this but I got no reply from him when I call, nor a return call from staff.When my mother was dying, she had several overnight visits at Overlake. After one, the next day there was blood pouring out of her ear all over her pillow. Rushed to ER all they said was have you been poking something in your ear? NO NO They admitted her again and when a non English speaking man came in the night for vitals he went to put the hard thermometer in her ear, she flinched and grabbed his hand NO. I was there and we suddenly knew who put what in her ear and had jammed it in so hard it bled.I am not happy with Overlake anymore, lost trust in them.

I want to give them -5. This people are murderers. My daughter walked in here with a anaphalaptic reaction and they told her they can’t see her . She was alone !!!!!!!!!! How much more cruel an urgent care facility can get???? Don’t step in there. It’s just a matter of few law suits and they will be closed !!!

Yeah saw Dr. Christy Chan for over a year I liked her in the begining but she was brief and not always to the point. I am autistic and older have some complex needs but still a human being. After starting my autistic 16 yr. old daughter with her as well she was seen maybe 4-6 times and on our what would later be identified as our last visit, Dr. Chan just tells me she is no longer going to see us and gave me 1 last refill on my anxiety meds NOW NOBODY WILL REFILL and 3 refills on my daughters anxiety meds and walks out of the room with NOT ONE EXPLANATION of why. So its been VERY difficult finding another primary care for us both and being autistic and raising a child with the same disorder put waited stress on my health and NOT getting proper medical treatment or care or medications needed for my diabetes, anxiety and blood pressure sent my body on overload and finally getting a concerned physician 6mos. later to help me and see I was at a borderline for a heart attack or stroke being 53 and due to my blood sugars running over 200 for 6 months. The lack there of, of compassion, empathy and concern for ones health DID NOT COME FROM CHAN~!! Now all I can do is pray no damage to my internal organs was done and start with a new clinic that is concerned for there patients!! I am left to file a personal injury claim for her neglect of my health and just dumping us from her practice with NO EXPLANATION WHY. I kept calling her supervisor Candi Pate to find out why we were dumped after not getting Chan to respond & her best explanation was I know Dr. Chan is picky with her practice and all I can say is I think she became overwhelmed. Very sad when there PERSONAL world is what they think about rather then patients~!!!!!!! Didnt even want to post 1 star but it wouldnt let me post this without. Frustrated & sad in Kirkland.

Dr. Christy Chan is the best.

The doctors listen to our concerns. They also tell us what course they think we should follow but let us choose unless it would be very detrimental to our health.
