My family and I are long-time patients of Lakeshore Clinic Totem Lake, and have always been happy with our experiences. Dr. Sarah Abbot got us through a difficult time. She is not only a fantastic physician, but she is also personable and truly cares about her patients. We always know we are in good hands with her.

Good place for your annual well visit/check up. customer service is good but nothing exceptional but love the time with the doctor. I love the online portal option to check on your results BUT the paper with the password on it got missing and I couldn’t reset it unless I COME IN PERSON AGAIN!!! Not in this age & time. That’s archaic and should be fixed or send Patient’s result in the mail instead! As a suggestion, it will be a great option to remind patients of their coming appointments like other evergreen health facilities does

Long waits. 10-15 minute wait on the phone every time you need to call. I can see a Teladoc in under 5 minutes. It shouldnt be difficult to staff the appointment desk given record unemployment.Even longer wait in person. The time spent waiting is longer than the time youll spend with your doctor, even for morning appointments. Be sure reception captures all the items you want to discuss else youll get very little time for your appointment. My doctor is great though.

I love doctor chaput but the reception needs to get their stuff together. Every single time I call wether I need an appointment or it’s urgent and I need to speak to my doctor, I’m on hold for 10-30 minutes minimum. I need to be able to reach a nurse or provider quickly sometimes and it’s not fair that I have to be sick for hours on end for a simple medication that can be sent over in less than five minutes yet somehow it’s always forever before someone actually tells the doctor to send it over. I’m tired of suffering because of how impossible it is to get in touch with my doctor, if I could just talk to her myself I’m sure it would be done ten times faster.

I agree with what the other people are saying about the long wait times just to get an online or in person appointment. Im currently on a long hold to cancel an appointment. My Dr is usually scheduled out 2-4 weeks so we never get to see her. You have to wait for a long time just to get an appointment to visit their urgent care. I was ill and the effort required to get help was just too much. Updade: You need to know that upstairs to this clinic is an Urgent care that they will try to send you to but claim that they are separate from Lakeshore and will not have any record of your vist.

I have been visiting this Lakeshore as a primary doctors office for close to 20 years. I like my doctor and trust his advice to the fullest. Evergreen on the other hand has made it hard to like this clinic. Poor to no communication about prescription medicine refills, long phone wait times, and no guidelines about how often a healthy person is expected to visit before starting over from scratch.

This is the worst experience with any medical issue I have ever had. They accept insurance, and then bill you the total amount and don’t try to get it fixed. I have been dealing with them on the phone for over a year trying to get the correct amount so I could pay them what I owe. They were charging me double what I was supposed to pay. And then sent me to collections even though I was actively working with them to prove I had insurance, even though they had my explanation on benefits sitting right there. I don’t know who is in charge of billing or insurance or whatever but they need to get it together. Do not go here unless you want to spend countless hours on hold with incompetent people who want to charge you twice the amount of what you’re supposed to pay.

They overcharge. I went for a routine exam and was charged for an extra visit and lab tests because I asked about mild headaches. I expressed my concern about the cost before any tests or diagnostics and was assured not to worry about it. Was charged $400 for something that was supposed to be covered by insurance because of all the extra stuff, and I could have easily diagnosed my own headaches.

They shared my personal information without my known consent. They told me I signed up for it. IF I did, it was in small print that was necessary for me to sign to see the doctor. My information was hacked when it was given to an outside donor org. I will never trust them, and have since changed all of my doctors.

Our family have been using these clinic for years. Since they changed to EvergreenHealth primary care, the service is just getting worse and worse. It’s to a point that you have to wait in line for at least 10 minutes to get someone on the phone. Then very often you were told you need to be patient with her and the promised same day appointment was not guaranteed. It’s a shame they turn such a wonderful clinic to such a cold and incompetent place. We like our doctor there. Unfortunately we could not take the procedure anymore. It’s time to find a new decent clinic.

Weve been seeing Dr Wu now for over 16 years - 2 adults and now 3 teens who started as babies. She always listens, is open to discussing treatment options, gives referrals to qualified specialists when needed or a second opinion if necessary. Weve seen other Drs at the clinic also, and overall have been happy. We prefer having to wait a bit for a Doctor that will not rush you, versus a Dr. who keeps a perfect schedule that makes you feel rushed.

Ive been a patient of Dr. Buehrens at the Lakeshore Clinic for about 20 years now. Ive had interactions with many of the staff over the years -- nurses, front desk, lab, and other doctors -- and Ive always been pleased with their service. Yes, theres a lot of paperwork to fill out, but thats the same anywhere in the US medical system. Lakeshore is large enough that theyve always managed to find an available doctor to meet with me if my doc happened to be out when I go sick -- and yet its small enough that it didnt feel like I was always starting a new doctor-patient relationship each time.

I am shocked to see the few negative and rude comments on here. I have been a patient of Dr. Buehrens for 34 years and have always had the best care. I have yet to meet any staff member who was not polite and professional.Yes the wait times are almost always longer than normal, but in my case that is because Paul is obviously invested in his patients and takes more time than others might. I can live with that because he treats me the same way. I feel great comfort in knowing that he has my best interests at heart, and he knows my medical record intimately after all these years.

Everyone needs to know that Lakeshore Clinics have made the choice to not properly cover Medicare patients. If you do not have one of the advantage plans (which take over processing for medicare) that they will take (only 3 plans) then you will not be able to stay with your doctor or the clinic. I talked with Medicare and they told me I could self pay for services and then file form 1490S directly to Medicare and they would reimburse the 80% directly to me. When I talked with the business office for Lakeshore they told me they would not allow that. I have been with Lakeshore and my doctor Paul Mayeda for 25+ years and now I am out in the cold because I have gotten old and am now on Medicare and they no longer want to help. Stay away from this operation. They care nothing about the elderly, even if you want to self pay. If you talk with their business office they will tell you that the Doctors have made this choice as a group. Shame on Lakeshore and its Doctors!!!!!! Be aware of all the negative reviews they have. That tells you something.

Worst Experience imaginable. Started fasting at 6PM last night for a 1:30PM appointment today. I fully disclosed my insurance providers when making the appointment, and no red flags went up with the scheduler. But, when I arrived today, the check-in desk claimed that they ONLY TAKE EMPLOYER PROVIDED MEDICARE SUPPLEMENTAL INSURANCE. Someone explain that crazy statement. She was starting to tell me they would not see me at that clinic now that Ive gone on Medicare with that particular supplement (note, that such a policy is against the law). Fortunately, there are hundreds of good doctors and clinics who know how medical insurance works. Now I know why there were so many open appointments when I first called to schedule.

THIS CLINIC SUCKS.I went there for an annual checkup which was covered by my insurance with no copay. But this clinic charged me for a co-pay. Even worse, I was also charged for several lab tests conducted in this visit. My insurance told me these checkups are supposed to be 100% covered if conducted during the annual check-up. But this clinic submitted the wrong code so that I have to pay almost $100 (lab test) + $30 (doctor visit even it is a 100% covered annual checkup). I called the clinic and they dont care about the troublesome situation they caused to me because of their negligence. So be alert, dont go to this clinic if you dont want your money to be ripped off.

Ive had consistently great experiences with Lakeshore Clinic and Dr. Chaput. Shes thorough, approachable, and professional. Likewise, the clinic itself has presented no difficulties for me at all - theyve worked with me to find good appointment times, and wait times once there have been minimal. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend Dr. Chaput to any of my friends or family.

I have been a 15+ year patient of Lakeshore Clinic, both their Bothell and Totem Lake location. I might have to rethink this as I have been on a medicine (non-narcotic) for 1.5 years and it has been refilled monthly this whole time. Well, i called in a refill this last week and after a few days of not hearing anything i called the pharmacy and they told me that the doctor denied the medicine. I called the Totem Lake office and they said its been a while since they saw me, so they want me to come in for an appointment. (which i can understand) Unfortunately this is a medicine that you have to taper off of from what i read. Its been 3 days and I have been sweating and feeling nauseous and now I know why.It would have been great if the doctor or nurse had called to inform me that they wanted to see me again prior to a refill, instead, i am left here feeling ill, wondering when the pharmacy will call me with the refill. Now I have to find a way to get off work to see the doctor last minute. Extremely frustrating and really leaves you with the feeling they dont care for you as an individual. Its clear they care more about their liability or money, not the patient.

I have had many good experiences with the BOTHELL clinic location, unfortunately I cant say the same for the Totem Lake location. Reception is nice when I arrive, but most recently I went to see Dr. Moodley and it was a horrendous experience. I had custom orthopedic inserts made for my feet; he made the appointment all about finances, and told me it would take 2-3 weeks to get my medical device. I waited 3 weeks to call because I hadnt heard anything, and at reception, they didnt know what I was talking about and in the confusion they came off as rather rude. I have yet to receive my product so I cant say anything about quality yet, but I have been quite displeased.

I liked my doctor, Paul Mayeda, and nurse, Rosie, while I was a patient here, but the admin staff is a mess! Trying to get anything done over the phone with this clinic = full day of phone tag.The admin staff just dont seem to communicate with each other: they route me to the wrong doctor, dont have my records, and whoever returns my call never seems to know what I was calling about in the first place. I wanted to dump this clinic so many times over the years I was a patient here, but I liked my doctor and nurse so much I kept coming back. However, I just relocated, and my new clinic asked me to ask Lakeshore Clinic to fax my records to their office. Three phone calls and a confused voicemail from the wrong nurse at Lakeshore later, I still cant get this simple thing done. I give up! What a mess!

The worst service I have ever gotten. Unfortunately my mom started me here when I was younger, so I never thought to change. Once you get to the office, your appointment will start 45 minutes after your arrival time (if your lucky). ALL the receptionists are extremely rude, and like to embarrass patrons whenever they can. Their known for hanging up on people, and the doctors all believe everyone coming there is a drug addict who just wants pills. This I learned a long time ago. Do your family a favor and STAY AWAY!! Not once in the years that I have been going there have I EVER gotten good service.

Ive been a patient at Lakeshore Clinic since I was 6 years old! My doctor is Dr. Buehrens, he is kind, patient, knowledgeable, always takes the time to listen to me, like my Grandpa(Bumper), who was also a patient of Dr. Buehrens, would say, Dr. Buehrens is the salt of the earth! Quite simply one of the best.Since I wrote this review, Dr. Buehrens has retired. I now see Dr. Billett and hes an amazing doctor, all the doctors at this clinic are! If Dr. Billett is not available, I see Dr. Mayeta, who is also an amazing doctor! The doctors at this clinic take the time to listen and help, I never feel rushed! Any doctor who you choose to go to at this clinic, you will definitely have a good appointment!

Ive seen 3 different doctors here, all were rude, condescending and not helpful and 2 were blatantly insulting. One doctor was inappropriately touchy and flirty while insulting a previous doctor I had seen. They have failed multiple times to send a prescription to my pharmacy and to send referrals to a specialist. Awful place.
