I am in serious awe. Im terrified of the dentist, like most people I assume. I went for a check up because of some tooth pain. Sara, the lady helping me, explained to me that I had a bad tooth, which I was aware of. She told me that Dr. Kivitt would probably want to pull the tooth. Dr. Kivitt got back to us within 5 minutes and confirmed he was going to pull the tooth.. Within a couple weeks I was sitting back in the dentist chair and I had explained that I was very nervous . They put me at ease very nicely. After getting ready, he was pulling the tooth, seen I was just lightly uncomfortable, he then stopped, gave me a little more medicine and talked to me very calmly what he was doing and was cracking jokes the whole time. All in all, Im not scared to go to the dentist anymore and everyone treated me as I was their own daughter. I felt very welcomed

Love Dr. Kivett & everyone who works at the office, extremely professional & make you feel comfortable during exams. They do extremely well with my adult son who has autism.

Best dentist I have ever experienced in my life. Considering I have had so many problems and had to see so many different dentist from several different states, he is by far the best !! Missed 2 appointments in 2016 and they will never schedule me an appointment again. Missed appointments due to i needed my tooth pulled sooner than a month out as my mouth was swollen the size of a baseball, but it’s cool a different dentist would be glad to take my money. 🤦🏻🤦🏻

I go here every 6 months for a cleaning and the girls do an awesome job. Recently got a wisdom tooth removed. It was the most efficient and easy extraction Ive ever witnessed. Top notch operation.

I called on 3/2/20 in the morning asked for same day appointment they was able to work me in, I have terrible anxiety when it comes to going to a dentist, but they eased all my fears talked me through everything with no pressure, and was able to remove the tooth the same day.. I was met promptly. The Hygienist was very professional while at the same time treated me as though we were lifelong friends.My visit was complete in a short time and I was escorted to the door as is always the case when we say our good-bys.I LOVE ADA and have been a patient there for many years.

All of the staff is welcoming, they’ve worked with me on paying for work I needed done and even worked with me when I had to reschedule the same appointment two different times.It’s a relaxing environment (I mean seriously chairs that heat up and massage? Closest thing to heaven at a dental appointment)I definitely recommend ADA and Dr. Kivett!

According to my wife:The staff was friendly and communicated their intentions and concerns clearly while being conscientious of our potential concerns. They worked with [our daughter] well and made sure she was comfortable in the surroundings as she becomes acclimated to going to see the dentist.In my own experience, they are one of a very limited number of dentists offices that offer oral surgery in house who will make an effort to see you without an appointment. They know what theyre doing and will work with you when it comes to payment. Whenever Im asked which dentist I would recommend; Associates of Dental Arts is always at the top of the list.

The best of the best, after having a bad experience at another dentist in joplin I went to the guys and they are amazing! They got me right in and we’re so friendly! Amazing staff that took their time, and then some, with my boys!!! Had a thorough consultation for appliance work and three athletic mouth guards made!! Very little waiting and Dr Kivett along with his staff never rushed and answered every question we had!! Very confident in this dental practice... and customer service exceptional!!!!

Lets start of with I have been to the dentist in about five or six years. I wasnt entirely sure what I expect, except that I would be sore. I was completely wrong. They were so wonderful, and very thorough. I really appreciated how patient they were. Over all it was a fantastic experience and I truly look forward to going back to my next appointment.

These folks actually care and truly want to be involved in how you feel about yourself. They do incredible work and the whole staff of workers is far more than happy to serve you. I cant say enough!

The two ladies who helped me get two of my back teeth removed were super nice and did all they could to help me be as comfortable as i could be. Both my teeth were really locked into my jaw bone and it took them a lot of work and effort to get them out and while i am sore, swollen and bruised they got them out and im in less pain then i had been from the last two teeth i had to have pulled at a different less awesome dental office. I highly recommend them to anyone 5 stars to the wonderful people within there.

The person who did my cleaning had a very gentle touch. The new dentist I saw was able to provide some good information on nerve injury that was caused by a surgery I had done at St. Louis several years ago, also.

Hadnt been to the dentist in a while and quite frankly wouldnt have gone except had a broken tooth. A great big thank you to my favorite hygienist Jane and assistant Tara for making things smooth and painless. Also a thank you to Dr. Kivett great job now lets get that implant done in a few months.

It perhaps is an exaggeration to write that the visit to the dentists office is enjoyable. However, that description comes very close to the reality of being there. The enthusiasm and competence of the dentist is matched by the care and skill of the hygienist, who also has a wonderful sense of humor. Or, if not, is a skilled actress by laughing at my jokes.

Really friendly staff, Clean offices. No pressure to have specific things done, they just laid out my options and gave me suggestions. When I went to have a tooth pulled they provided adequate medication and allowed my husband to sit with me. Great place! WIll return for other work.

As many others probably feel, I am not one who enjoys visiting the dentist office. The team here was excellent. They make you feel comfortable and listen to all of your concerns without judgement. After the service they delivered I will never hesitate again to stay up to date with my check-ups!

Not a fan of the dentist. I always had anxiety and bad experience but let me tell you about my visit here. I was in need of a bad wisdom tooth and molar removal. They didnt put me under but they gave me anti anxiety meds, gas, and of course the shots to numb my gums. Also gave me a blind fold and my chair vibrated so it would help me relax. Didnt feel pain during the removal just odd pressure but thats normal. Also the dental assistant was there the whole time to walk me through it. So everyone that is looking for a very good dentist to keep you calm and positive this is the place for you! Thanks for the best experience Ill be back again to get more dental work done!

Had bad anxiety about the dentist until I came here. Dr kapoor and the staff were excellent. Got a root canal done and didn’t feel a thing. Would definitely recommend to anyone who’s had a bad experience with any other dentist. Associates of dental arts has officially gained a permanent client!!!

Its a beautiful office with people who really care about you and how you feel. Sonya is amazing and Dr. Kivett is so kind hearted. ADA really has the patients best interests in mind. We make a family trip & have our dental appointments all together. Our 6yr & 3yr old boys really enjoyed the experience this past trip & even got to assist in cleaning my teeth (they squirted the water in my mouth a few times). The office is really laid back & family friendly & have never been pushy on any recommendations they had for our dental care.Update on Jan 22, 2015:Cant beat Dr Kivett & the staff for our family of 4... our two boys are energetic, fun, & crazy wherever they go. The staff here do a top notch job of safely allowing them to explore & learn, ease their fears, & find that a Dentist office really doesnt have to be a scary place to go to!

I wish I could give this place more stars! I havent been to the dentist in years and I was reluctant to go, but Im glad I went here. The staff is very friendly and respectful, the facility is very nice and well-kept, the technology is state of the art, which means no scraping the gums and teeth! The chair has a massage setting, which I loved and the atmosphere was very calm and organized. I wont go anywhere else. Its very close to home for me and Dr. Kivett is very knowledgeable. Not once did anyone say anything rude to me about my teeth, nor did they try and sell me on a bunch of stuff. I highly recommend ADA to anyone who is nervous about going to the dentist.

I have been going to Associates of Dental Arts for the past few years. They go above and beyond to make sure you have a great experience. In the past I had such terrible anxiety about going to the dentist. They listened to me and gave me the option for sedation dentistry, I choose this and I can’t tell you how It has changed my life! Now a trip to the dentist is nothing, no more anxiety or worries. I have completed all my dental work as of yesterday and could not be happier. Im a truck driver from Cincinnati, and just happened to be in Joplin when I had to get this procedure done. I really lucked out by going to this dentists office. Stay away from this dentist!!!!!! Got root canal crown, osseous surgery, deep cleaning, ect, and we ended up with rotten teeth filled with pus that had to be extracted. Seen by other dentist, and he stated, ethically wrong, for over treatment just for profit. Stay away!!!!!!!

Business is ran like a well oiled machine, i manage for a large dealership and i pay very close attention to processes and the way things flow. This place flows like a well oiled machine and Dr. Kivett is a professional!

I have a retainer with two fake teeth on it that is glued in, a couple a months ago it came loose and I called ADA and they got me in as fast as they could to fix it which was much appreciated! Then, recently, one of the teeth on the retainer actually broke off from the wire and so I called ADA to see if maybe they could save me from the embarrassment of missing a tooth! Dr Kivett was out of town so I did have to wait a while for him to get back and get an appointment but I went this morning and they were SO GREAT. They were so nice and helpful and just wonderful. And when I went to pay, Karen said she wasnt going to charge me for anything. I almost cried from happiness! Ive only been to ADA two times, both for emergencies but both times every single staff member has been so amazing and kind, I will continue to go there for anything I end up needing. They are a blessing!

I have had extensive dental restoration done at four other dentists over the years here in Joplin.I switched to Dr. Kivet nervously as dental work has never been an enjoyable experience and I mentally lump all dentists together.I will never use another dentist again!!! I would travel across the U.S. to come to his office! Here’s why:1. Friendliest, most knowledgeable staff and doctor you will ever meet!2. Comfortable, super clean environment!3. When you come for a cleaning, they automatically go in to full mouth planning and show you what They can do to make sure you have beautiful teeth until you are 100!4. Dr. Kivet does extensive educational training on the newest and best methods of dentistry.5. Dr. Kivet does Dentistry, and Orthodontics! Why go to someone who can’t take care of everything?! It allows him to effectively plan out your bone structure and dental work correspondingly!6. Crowns in house while you wait! Surgery in house same day! Awake or asleep surgery! Dentures if you need them, in house!What can’t he do??!!!!?? I have yet to see!
