So now I know why my medical bill is so expensive. They have a video game table for kids in the waiting room. I have seen these online and they are not cheap. Lol...Had some routine exams today and the facilities are extremely clean and the doctor was friendly. I hope to keep ahead of my health needs especially since the pandemic became a good reason to watch it and improve it.

We had an exceptional experience with Wolfson ER at the Town Center. The facility is beautiful and very clean. Every staff member we encountered was so professional and friendly, and the care we received was outstanding. Bill was waiting to take us back before we had even checked in and Dr. Matt was extremely knowledgeable and compassionate. We could not have had a better experience. We are thankful to have such wonderful, specialized pediatric care in Jacksonville!

Been here twice and they e always been fast, professional and very nice! Recommend this place over any ER hands down! They are awesome!

Exceptional experience, especially with every other ER being so crowded with chairs set up in the hallway, this place actually had beds available and I was taken back right away. Doctor and nurses were extremely kind and professional. Highly recommend.

If you want to die fast, go there. My husband can barely stand up. He got covid with very high blood pressure. The doctor told him that he is fine and has to leave in 5 minutes. We have to find another ER.

I’ve gone here about 4 times and the staff and bed side are great! They are always very thorough and I never leave wishing I had more done. I’ve gone when I lost my health insurance the they treated me no different than when I had it.I’ve also taken my children. And the service was amazing then as well. My go to ER if I need one

The ER doctor was an absolute lifesaver for me tonight!! I have been going back & forth with my PCP all week to avoid going without my all natural thyroid medicine. My generic brand was removed off the market & they refused to write me a prescription for the brand name all natural one which left me with horrible symptoms for 3-4 days now!! She listened to me with compassion, understood what I needed & took care of it without hesitation!! Hate that I had to waste their time but I am forever grateful to them!!

The receptionist was polite and friendly but once my fiance got in the back it was terrible!! My fiance tested with covid and she went there cause she has been having chest pains, hasnt held down food in 5 days, and shortness of breath and it keeps getting worse. She got an older gentleman as her nurse and he was Absolutely rude and disrespectful! Told her that she should of gotten the shot and that cause she was positive she shouldnt of been there! We use this place for everything and never have complaints but this guy was Absolutely wrong terrible how do you tell a patient that!!

Could not have had a better experience with the care they gave my 15 month old who slipped and fell and had a nose bleed today. They checked her from top to bottom and were extremely kind and detailed with their care and guidance to us. The facility is beautiful and clean with childrens murals everywhere. Thank you Chimi and your team for taking such good care of our girl!

I went to the facility yesterday due to a headache that won’t go away. Everyone was so friendly and truly wanted to help. The lady who did my CT scans went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable, explained everything in-depth, and prepared my ER room when I got back with a pillow and warm blanket. She was an angel on earth and I can’t thank her enough. Doctor Smowton was excellent and I could tell he really cared about my well-being. There was absolutely no wait time and the EMT who took my blood and put in my Iv was so sweet and great at his job. If I ever need emergency care again, this is the first place I will go. Thank you all for your kindness during my difficult situation.

We went to this location for my 8 month old tonight and it seemed like everything was done in slow motion. We arrived at 12:20 AM and left at 4:08 AM after only having an x-ray completed. I don’t feel our concerns were addressed properly or completely. Hopefully we will never have to come back for care again.

I usually take myself and my family here when I need something urgent because of how friendly they are. Not this time or anymore. I nearly passed out, could not walk and had to have a wheelchair, shallow breaths… they said it was anxiety. Anxiety? I’ve had anxiety since 6th grade and I’m well aware it is not that. They were so dismissive of actual problems. My BPM’s were high and even the nurse said that. Sadly we’ll have to find somewhere else because I couldn’t believe how ignorant they were.1000% will be disputing this if it says anxiety. They told me they weren’t doing a covid test either when my husband got covid and those were his symptoms. Great job.

Took my wife here today. She had fallen and fractured her patella. Had a hematoma on her calf, and a deep venous thrombosis. We were taken in immediately, X-rays taken, sonogram performed, consultation with doctor, blood taken and evaluated, doctor consulted with orthopedic specialist, immobilizing brace applied. All of this was done in less than 2 hours. They also gave us a disc of the X-rays and sonogram to take to the orthopedic specialist. Can’t praise this facility enough. Everyone was pleasant and caring.

Went this morning because of abdominal pain. Checked in quickly by Kaitlyn at the front desk who was so friendly. After getting some blood work and CT scan, nothing serious thankfully. First time in building. It was quiet and very comfortable. Thank you to Stephanie, Dr. Jackson, Veronica and the rest of the staff there that did a great job and made me feel comfortable the whole time there.

Do not come here if u have a actual problem or injury, they will discharge u,won’t treat u properly and they don’t care about your health.

Literally THE BEST ER all around! quick, kind and our DR was intelligent and you could tell they all wanted the best for my baby. i brought my daughter here because of a dog bite and they acted quickly! William (Bill) is the best nurse we have ever had. my daughter remembered him by name and specifically asked if we could get her shot when he was there because he was the only one who made her feel comfortable and confident enough to get her shot. she was also very grateful for the other two lady RN’s who helped tremendously. I’m in the medical field myself and honestly, meeting a staff who are so personable and kind means the world to both of us. we have two more to go and hopefully, fingers crossed, Bill will be next to her to make her feel safe. thank you, from the bottom of our hearts.

Amazing medical staff, utterly ruined by laughable billing practices. Just got a letter in the mail today, a $90 bill from an ER visit wed completely paid 3 years ago, was sent to a collections agency. I dont show record of any contact attempts like calls or emails, just this collections notice out of the blue. Is the healthcare system so bad that they need to gouge young families by dinging credit on tiny balances that they never tried collecting on?Shameful...

Emergency room services and CT scans available.Visited the hospital for my daughters CT scan.The building is very new, clean, well decorated to bring a sense of calm, with its sea theme...Checking was quick, everyone we spoke with was pleasant and professional. They provided all the paperwork promptly, and were genuinely concerned with her condition.I would highly recommend this facility and the doctors that staff this medical center.Excellent service!

This is the worst hospital experience i’ve ever had i waited 2 hours in between seeing the doctor and receiving my splint so i could leave i tried to leave and buy it myself but security wouldn’t let me leave unless escorted out by a medical assistant would not come here even if you are dying it is the last place i would ever reccommend

Took my daughter 2 days ago... started off with a rude receptionist...followed by a rude nurse. The Doctor came in and was very pleasant..he felt as though my daughter has Face Cellulitis. Gave her IV medications..said if she had any fever or more swelling bring her back..also start her antibiotic the next day... The next morning she ran a high fever and more swelling..we went back..had another DR. He told us he wasnt concerned about the fever or swelling..was totally acting like we shouldnt have come. We left and I Decided to take her to Shands NS..where we got the best treatment. Not only were they kind. They were concerned..gave her more antibiotics.. steroids and benadryl... I will never use Baptist again..they need to train their Doctors and staff how to work together and treat their patients health seriously.

My daughter brought my granddaughter who is 2 yrs old at 7 pm its now 11:30 pm and had to leave and was never seen !!!! This is a disgrace !! And not only that but the receptionist was VERY RUDE and disrespectful !! I know there other circumstances and illnesses but to keep a 2 yr old waiting 4 1/2 hours is unacceptable !!! 😡

I always take myself or my daughter here. We have always been in and out. I have never waited too long to see a Doctor and I can say Id 100 % come here before going to the nearest full service hospital (Memorial). The doctors and stuff are friendly and understand how to handle kids that need a little more attention.

Wolfsons Doctors and Nursing staff were awesome and extremely attentive to my baby this evening. As soon as we completed fast registration, my son had an I.D bracelet and had been seen my the doctor and nurses immediately. I would highly recommend anyone to bring their children here! Fastest E.R tome Ive ever seen and very prompt care with thorough discharge instructions.

Thank you to everyone that helped me with my kidney pains around 6:30-7 this morning. Everyone was quick and so nice. I think i came in at a shift change (I’m a server so i know that’s annoying) but everyone was still nice and quick to get me comfortable and my pain gone. Didn’t make me feel like a burden. I left feeling ten times better.

The “wait time” advertised online is no where near accurate. Drove way out of the way to be seen rapidly (wait times 18 min) for a broken arm on an eight year old. After 3 hrs we were still waiting and had only seen 3 people leave. Im aware that emergencies take priority but no ambulances arriving or anything so why the long wait? Maybe they only have one person on duty - not the best idea for a Friday night. Being the most respected children’s hospital I had high hopes but this place needs better management or at least truthful advertising.

I had a fracture and they told me it was a sprain and sent me on my way with an ace bandage.UPDATE: they called me just to tell me they decided it wasnt their fault for no real reason. I would give negative stars if it were possible.

Went to this location on 2/16 to be seen for breathing issues. We came in the morning and were seen quickly within 5 minutes of checking in at the front desk. The nurses and doctors that saw me were extremely nice and were very detailed on my visit. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone that needs to be seen for any kind of treatment. The facility was extremely clean and well organized. I will continue to recommend this location to my friends and co-workers.

This is the worst experience I’ve ever had with an ER in my life. Came here at 11 and it’s 5 and we are still waiting on a radiologist to give test results from an ultrasound done at 2. I will never use this hospital or ER/affiliates again.

I asked for a written copy of their no recording policy and the charge nurse told me she was prohibited from providing me with a copy by Risk Management. Also when my childs Covid test came back Negative, she not only delay giving me his test results but stated she didnt believe it was correct. Luckily for her, we were currently in the process of transporting my son to Wilsons Children and I no longer had to deal with her because it would Not have been a pleasent encounter from that point on, for her!

Very clean and friendly staff. All the staff are so sweet and caring. Jennifer the RN was the best. She was patient and so great with my daughter. The pediatrician was really great as well. They were busy but we were seen very quickly.

I have been here several times, but my last visit really made me appreciate the nurse and doctor I had. The pregnant nurse and the female doctor really listened and comforted me in a time where I was in complete emotional distress, due to my symptoms. I wish I knew their names because they are really amazing.

I have never been so impressed with an emergency room! From the easy check in, quickness of all tests, top notch technology, and most importantly...the outstanding staff! Everyone was so personable and super friendly. The whole experience couldn’t have been more perfect...besides the fact I had to go to the ER. Every hospital or medical center should have the same image as Baptist Emergency. I highly recommend them to everyone!

Ended up at this location twice in the span of several months due to dehydration caused by anxiety attacks (was dealing with extreme nausea), the first visit was okay and staff were helpful - I was given fluids (the main reason I came in the first place) and a sedative/painkiller (I did not ask for either of these). The second visit the same doctor was on call and assumed I was faking my symptoms to score drugs. Never been more offended, will not return. Very disheartening to be treated poorly when dealing with anxiety.

This place right here is probably one of the best emergency rooms I EVER walked into and I dont even live in FL. I was about to give up on Florida altogether and try to somehow make it home. Pray I didnt die along the way. It was my 3rd hospital and I was desperately trying to get help. They went way above and beyond my expectations and ran every test! They figured out what was wrong with me when the other 2 hospitals failed. Thank you.

Extremely impressed! Short wait, easy check in, and most importantly the doctors were awesome with my son, who had to be held down for a while. They let me know what they were doing every step of the way...I highly recommend them.

I have taken my children here a few different times for various reasons and we are always promptly seen, the staff goes above and beyond. They take the time to listen and throughly evaluate the kids. This facility is my first choice to go to always. So glad this location has opened .

Convinient. Clean. Been here 3 times with my son. Did not wait too long! Staff was fine and asked the typical questions. They have little buggies you can pull around the kiddos in. Easier than the big hospital having to deal with downtown and figuring out the parking garage and where to go. It has slightly less medical treatment available, so if you need anything super major you might need you go downtown.

Took my daughter with high fever and had to wait to be seen for over an hour. And then spent almost 5 hours overall. After my daughter couldn’t stay calm and quiet anymore and started historically crying we went out to ask how long to wait. We were told that we have to wait, they r very busy, someone will be with you shortly.. and guess what.. no one even came until we came out of the freezing room again.. the whole experience was not very pleasing.. we were seen by 4 nurses before doctor just came right before discharge, and every nurse was asking the same questions... really???!?! Don’t you put any records in your system. Unfortunately we will have to find another place, very disappointed.

There service was great up until, We left for the night after being informed my mother would be transferred to another hospital. The nurse took down my contact information and told me she would call to inform us on where she would be transferred. I never received a call. When I contacted the ER to find out about my mom, I was told she was no longer there, and they werent certain about where she was transferred. Thanks for the Miscommunication.

I took my 12 yr old daughter to this location after she hurt her feet in a gymnastics accident. The doctor there came in and took one look at the top of her feet and told us they werent broken because there wasnt enough swelling, but he would get an x-ray anyways. He never bothered to even look at her entire foot and the majority of her swelling was on the bottom of her foot. He popped his head back in the door after the x-rays were complete to say that they werent broken so she could go ahead and walk on them as soon as shed like and then he left. When the nurse came in, I asked her if she could have a sprain and how that would be treated. She informed me that she could very well have a sprain and would then need to stay off of it, she was incredibly short with me and I felt like I was being blown off for the second time that evening. We were then sent home with no crutches or anything to help my daughter stay off her foot. This occurred on 02/16/2017 and we ended up having to go through our regular doctor to get help. Now, over 2 months later we are still taking her to appointments at Nemours, she has been through crutches and 2 different kinds of boots, and we are still working to get her healed. However, we were completely blown off at this location and wasted our money to receive no help! The doctor was incredibly rude and refused to take the time to properly treat my child. Overall, it was a terrible experience and a huge waste of money!

Cece, Kim, and Anderson S. Have the absolute worst attitude I have ever encountered in this hospital. Cece came in and personally attacked me because I was telling on her rude behavior and Kim just allowed her to continue.

Am currently here now have waited 4 hours to be told they do not have the medication I need to bring down the swelling in my eye and that I need to be transferred. Have been forgotten about multiple times, when you try to ask about what is going on the get an attitude like you not being over charged for everything they are doing.

As a fellow medical professional I have never been more disappointed in the level of care I received tonight. The charge nurse was unprofessional and argumentative about the reasons of our visit and seemed more concerned about how we were going to pay instead of rendering emergency treatment. If you want compassionate patient-centered care please take your loved one else where.

Went to this location today for some abdominal pain and was pretty anxious that it might be my appendix. Everyone was so nice and worked with me so well. The nurses were just amazing they were so nice and accommodating. The nurse who put in my iv was so great I hate needles and she talked me through everything so I wasnt scared. They kept me so calm and were just amazing. Just a completely amazing experience and I absolutely hate going to the doctors.

Our 5 year old daughter got a cut on her knee a couple of weeks ago and Dr.Patel was very sensitive to understand her pain and did the job just right. We went back today today to get her stitches removed. Dr.Hart walked in to attend our daughter. She was scared and began to cry. He tried to calm her down a couple of times and just walked out of the room saying that she is hysterical and will not do anything until she calms down.His nurse practitioner April came in and got her stitches removed in like 10mins. She has been very patient and was great with my kid. Today’s experience with Dr.Hart was not very pleasant.

Went to the emergency when my son was a couple weeks old. He wouldnt sleep and cried all the time. We were out of our minds with exhaustion and saw this as a last result for answers. We stayed pretty much overnight and one xray later was told that he had a lot of gas in his tummy and he was colic. I knew that diagnoses wasnt right. The doctor didnt really seem to care and didnt ask us many questions and told us to leave....we went to see our pediatrician in the morning and was told by the head of the practice my son has an extreme case of acid reflux. We were finally given an answer but I felt if the doctor cared enough to ask more questions she might have been able to help us sooner.

Some of the nurses were nice, but a Pedetrician kept asking questions of things of why things occur. My little girl felt while I was gone because she was playing with mommy. Simple as that. Mommy was suppose to bring the crib down. What a treatment...

The staff, right from the sign in are very professional, kind and friendly. I was seen in less than 5 mins after signing in. Dr. Gail, my attending physician, was very knowledgeable, friendly, professional and thorough. They do an excellent job and I felt very well taken care of. I walked out feeling much better and highly recommend this ER facility.

We were sent here by our pediatrician that evening with STAT scripts in hand for x-rays and an EKG for our 9-yr old. (*STAT: A common medical abbreviation for urgent or rush. From the Latin word statum, meaning immediately.) - There were only 2 other guests in the lobby at the time, so there did not appear to be many people there when we first arrived and they said we should have you in and out.....2.5 hours later we were finally being seen for 2 xrays. They refused the EKG our doctor ordered stating they dont have one. At an ER you dont have an EKG machine?? I called the other Wolfsons location downtown and they apologized stating they have no idea why they would say that. We will never go back to this hospital. An outpatient service with STAT scripts in hand should never be treated differently, especially when an EKG for a HEART ISSUE is for a CHILD!

The staff was very kind when we visited. They told us exactly what they were doing and why. This made us feel very comfortable about the situation at hand.

Best ER! The nurses were awesome and the doctor was great! He checked up on us often and seemed to really care. We had a fabulous nurse who took such good care of us, she was amazing with my 5 year old daughter. Never going to another ER again.

I went into this place a few times, I went in once at the end of my pregnancy extremely sick and unwell. Normally, it’s whatever but having my sweet child inside my belly I wanted to make sure whatever I had wasn’t effecting her, and that I was going to be okay. The male nurse on duty degrated me and had meIn tears. Since “everyone was getting sick” I was “wasting my time” not a single test was done at this point. I went to another hospital and was diagnosed with the flu. Very dangerous in pregnancy. He was so rude and I cried, and cried. I ran out of there crying, and hurt how I was treated. Can’t recall his name but his bedside manner was terrible. Just terrible. Never went back again.

My husband was in the worst pain passing kidney stones. They took him in and treated him immediately. They saw the extreme discomfort that he was in and instantly took care of him. The facilities were clean and the staff was wonderful. I am so grateful for them.

Went to the ER with my 2yr old son to get checked for his fever and consistent cough. The nurses checked him in and took his vitals and ordered for the FLU test and asked to wait for the results(45 min) which ended up in 2hrs and 20min. Finally the Doctor comes in and checks for his ears and says he has an infection and could hear some light wheezing and asked for the x-rays. Gone for 30 mins again and later with the results could even come in, the respiratory specialist comes in and says he needs this nebulizer to clear his lungs to help him breath better. Comes the doctor again after a few minutes and says he had to check on other patients and forgot to mention notes on my sons file. He goes back and says oh Im sorry I didnt know that a flu test was ordered and x-ray wasnt needed. We were shocked by his response and tells us that hes tested positive for the flu..starts talking about the medication and follow up. While about to leave he comes back again and tells- small correction, the results for flu is negative! That was IT for us! The doctor wasnt clearly paying any attention to us and was ignorant enough to order tests that was totally not necessary! Clearly he was not concerned that we were the terrified parents. The entire wait was not even the worth the pain my baby was in! Terrible attiqute and the doctor doesnt know what he was doing!

Excellent service! X-ray & CT Scan right there. Instant results! We waited 5 min in the waiting room. Everyone way very friendly and attentive. Dr Gilchrist was AMAZING!

I was there the other night. We just waited the necessary time until they found out what was wrong with my baby. She is under treatment right now felling better. Thank you Lord Jesus.

This was our second time here and one of the longest ER waits Ive ever experienced. The first time I was so impressed. This time Im so disappointed. The staff doesnt seem to care or seem to have any urgency.

This was the best ER visit Ive ever had. We were treated with respect and in a very prompt manner. Everyone was overly helpful and professional. We were out in about an hour even with x-rays. Thank you!

Dr.Taylor was incredible! He had the best bedside manner I’ve seen in an ED and talks to his patients like they’re family.

I’ve been billed $717 on 3 separate occasions simply for being in the room. No tests just a doctor writing a prescription for antibiotics. Not sure if this is a standard hourly rate or if they’re billing department is getting it wrong. Either way they are way over priced here do not come here for anything. I’d hate to see what they would charge for an actual medical emergency.

Ive had to take my toddler here 2 different times. Ive never had to wait longer than 10 minutes for them to take us back. Hes seen right away and I couldnt say enough great things about the doctors and staff there. Hands down the best one!

Worst place, this place should not even be here. I was stranded when hurricane Matthew came to Jacksonville and the Florida Governor ordered everyone to get safety, would you believe a hospital would deny someone safety? This one did. The Baptist Beaches is better than this.

Best ER, mostly because of Dr TYSON - he is awesome, explained everything to us, made my child feel safe, made us laugh, took the time to explain to us Everything details by detail and always had a smile in his face.

We went to this facility last night after waiting at St Vincents for 3 hours. My boyfriend had severe back pain and spasms radiating down both legs. My boyfriend was called back within minutes. Facility is very clean, the staff was caring and attentive. We will come here for now on for all of our emegency needs for our family.

I went in for an ear infection, the doctor was rude. I know they have to pull on your ear to get a look, but she tugged, which made the pain even worse. She had no bed side manners, stayed with me for maybe a minute. The nurse was just as rude. This ER used to be amazing. First couple times I went they were outstanding. Just this time they werent on their A Game.

No complaints of services we received. However just be careful of this Baptist location if you have United Healthcare. United healthcare insurance does not accept them in network. Almost all of our other doctors are Baptist doctors so we didn’t even second-guess going here. However, after receiving a huge bill we learned that United did not have a contract with this location. Won’t make this mistake again.

Absolutely the best experience Ive ever had at an emergency room. Staff was very attentive we had no wait time and they really know how to deal with sick and scared children. This will be the only ER I take my family to from now on!

This was seriously some of the worse care I have ever recieved.Doctor Hill was mine she was the rudest ive ever came into contact with.She came into my room and told me before even seeing any test results that because I had already seen 4 doctors that they would problly not know what was wrong with me either.She ran a ekg and xray I never said I had any chest pain.I adk for no ekg but they ran it anyway.I get this because I have a history of PE but the xray was unneeded and made no sense.She didnt listen to anythi g.I legt just as sick.She already decided she couldnt help me before even viewing any results.I will never go here and I plan to report this to my insurance and the mexical board.She had a bad day and took it out on me.

Checked in at 9:15am on 12/28 with Mike J. Two hours later, a supervisor (who had seen us waiting for quite some time after everyone else in the waiting room had already been seen) asked us if we had been registered. When I stated that we had checked in with Mike J at the desk and had shown him our paperwork, she again asked if we had been registered. When I repeated that we had checked in with Mike J., she took our paperwork to Mike J. 15 minutes later, Mike J walked over and said that they were very busy in the back. When I told him that we had been waiting over 2 hours already and were about to leave, he went to the back and suddenly determined that our paperwork from the doctor was incorrect. The paperwork said we needed a left wrist x-ray for bone age when apparently it needed to say left hand. I am unsure why this information wasnt determined at 9:15am, when I checked my daughter in, rather than at 11:30am when everyone essential was at lunch. We left at 11:45am having wasted nearly 3 hours of our time. This location is also unable to do labwork for chromosomal microarrays, so just do yourselves a favor and head straight to Wolfsons Downtown rather than wasting your time at this location. I am not generally a negative person and I do not typically write 1 star reviews, but when a business doesnt get it right, I am obligated to let other people know. I will never use this establishment again. Thank you to the supervisor who recognized that we had been neglected. I am still waiting to hear back from our doctor to determine if the paperwork order actually does need to read left hand rather than left wrist for a bone age x-ray.

Son went in for what our Dr thought was a broken arm - they didnt give him a sling or anything and sent him away after x-rays saying theres no damage even though he had decreased range of motion and a lot of pain. Followup with our primary a week later and get sent back. Get another set of x-rays, get sent away with NO sling. Primary gets second set of xrays, he has a broken elbow, and son gets a full arm cast. What is disappointing is they didnt give him a sling or any support for a WEEK and both visits resulted in him just gutting it out with a broken elbow. Irresponsible and cold care - disappointing - recommend you rely on your primary to advocate and followup because the care received from this place indicates theyre only interested in getting you out the door with NO support.

Love this place great customer service after my mom was turned from a place we came here because she had an allergic reaction they signed her in quickly and helped out these people are amazing doctor nurse receptionist everyone Im glad we came here they were checking on my mom to make sure she was okay I thank each and everyone of them for helping her out. I would give more stars if I could amazing.

My husband had severe food poisoning and I took him here because it is the closest ER. What we didnt know was all of the complications caused by his illness that almost killed him. These wonderful folks got to work immediately and saved his life, transferring him via ambulance to Baptist Beaches. I will forever be grateful!!

VERY unsatisied. I was seen by Dr. Matthew J. Thompson, told nothing was seriously wrong, and was sent home. If I had not gotten a second opinion at a different ER I wouldn’t have found out that I needed immediate surgery. He could have saved me a lot of time and money if he had just done his job correctly and caught the real problem.I shouldn’t have to question my doctors. Lazy doctors won’t be getting paid by me. I’m waiting for a patient advocate to call me back so I can dispute my bills. I will not be coming back to this ER or to any Baptist facilities in the future.

Going to this ER is an absolute waste of time. Went in to be seen in the middle of the night over the weekend with severe pain where I have a herniated disc, because Im not considered a medical emergency they said they couldnt do anything for me. Advised me to continue taking ibuprofen and tylenol around the clock.. like I Had been for the last 3 days. Obviously its not working which was why i was there in the middle of the night. Waste of time.

This was by far the most unprofessional experience I have ever had a medical facility. I took my 1 year old son here Sunday night after having a febrile seizure and every single provider (doctors and nurses) that we had contact with were TERRIBLE. First, the nurse rudely told me that the reason why his fever got so high was because I didnt get him a high enough dose of Tylenol. I told her I had followed the instructions on the label and she was very adamant in saying the problem was just the dosage. My son recently had tubes put in his ears and after letting the doctor know this, he checked both ears and said that they were perfect. Not ONE nurse or doctor checked my sons chest, throat, stomach, nothing except his ears and stated that they were perfect. Also, I told the doctor that he had not had one wet diaper all day and his response was hmmm. After reiterating the fact that he is not drinking or having wet diapers and I was concerned about that, he said well I can get some Pedialyte for him and we can see. While waiting in the room, I looked at my pediatricians office website at their dosage recommendations and saw that it matches up with what I had told them I gave my son. When the nurse returned to our room, I brought this up to her. Her response was I am just telling you what comes straight from the pharmacy and this is what they recommend very rudely. Upon leaving the room with my son, the nurse called me over and said she wanted to make sure she gave me the correct dosing information since I had brought it up. Her and another nurse proceeded to argue in front of us on what the correct dose was for my sons weight. The doctor was sitting at a desk behind them reclined in his chair playing on his phone while this was happening. The nurses finally agreed on the proper dosage which was in fact a lower amount that they had written on the discharge paperwork. COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL and shocked that a facility that specializes in care for CHILDREN could employ providers like the ones I had caring for my child, after an already traumatic event for us all with his seizure. To add to all of this, I followed the discharge instructions and followed up with his pediatrician the next day. We were given an appointment within the hour. The Dr. at our pediatricians office checked his ears and IMMEDIATELY said that it appears that one of his ears where he just got his tubes put in has a blockage of some sort that is causing an infection. Yet the Dr. at this facility told us very quickly that his ears were perfect. I would highly suggest NO ONE taking their child to this facility and I am sure I cannot be the only one that has had a similar experience here. My child is my life and their blatant disregard for his care is shameful and I would hate to see another family feel the same way after a visit here. TAKE THE DRIVE AND GO TO WOLFSONS DOWNTOWN - YOUR CHILD IS WORTH IT!

They got me right in and straight to back and worked on me. They were very professional and friendly. They showed they actually cared. I will definitely go back if Im ever sick again. My nurse rocks. He was awesome.

The attitude of the staff was blah! When the Dr. finally came in she was kind of attitude -ish no bed side manner at all .Myself and my husband kept trying to explain the issue and no matter what we explained :pain level all the way to the length of his discomfort , I could NOT believe Dr Dumitru ( her name) tried to down play his issue as something just minor like ;did you try this or you could try that?(kind of made us feel like why we here? ) On Top of all that she really got irritated when we stressed concerns about her supposedly diagnoses.WellNo I’m not a Dr however I do know the diagnosis she gave in all of the three and a half rushed minutes she was in the room with her ill- mannered self was not worth the $150.00 down payment and the hefty bill they are going to try to submit!Watch how this disputed go!If you don’t like your job or people find something else to do.You won’t have an attitude and service my family !

My five year old daughters medical information was given out by this hospital to another company. Was told by a representative that they had every right to do so. But since I called she would put a note in my file.To add insult to injury the representative was incredibly rude when I pressed her on whether or not they were legally allowed to give out my childs medical information.If you value your childs privacy, do not take them to this hospital.

Shout out to this ER facility as it is fully open for Irma. Now I know where to go in a real emergency.

High recommend! My little guy fell off the monkey bars. Our 24/7 doctor doesnt do X-rays so we came here. Amazing experience. Super clean facility. Extremely friendly staff. Fastest weve ever been seen at a doctors office even when weve had an appointment and this was the ER! Everyone from checkin to the nurse to the nursing student to the X-ray Tech Mr Charlie to Dr Smith and then Mr Bill that made my son his splint.... was amazing! My baby wasnt scared one bit because of the way they interacted and loved on my baby. I was extremely happy with our visit and wouldnt have changed a thing. They really made this horrible experience easy peasy and my son said that was cool can we go back! Hopefully we wont have anymore broken bones but if we do we will definitely go back. If you live in the Southside area I highly recommend going to his ER instead of driving downtown. A+!
