Needed a rapid COVID-19 test ASAP and Carespot on Dunn rd was the perfect choice. Teresa at front desk is awesome as was the staff. Would highly recommend.

This place is so dang slow. I had an appointment and 4 people with later appointments went before me. I had my 1.5 yo screaming and they just didnt care! They say theyre under staffed all the dang time but wont hire anyone. I shouldnt have to sit here for 2hrs with a screaming baby! Im forced to come here because its the only place that will take my insurance. If you have a choice, I do not recommend this place at all!!!

The provider Rita was awesome!!! She stated that she was the only provider working there and sometimes she sees 70+ patients, however her attitude and demeanor does not reflect that. Her attitude was so positive and upbeat, I wouldve had no idea if I was her 70th patient because she was so pleasant even at 7pm.

Woman who works at the front desk is SO rude. She acts as though the customers/patients who enter the building have done something to her personally. She should definitely go through a retraining workshop or be assigned another position where she doesnt have to come in contact with people who are there for help. Shes the reason I will NEVER step foot in this location again. Do better. I wish I knew her name.

Walked out after almost 2 hours of waiting.I get that you’re busy and maybe understaffed but please inform people about what’s going on and not have them wonder if they have been forgotten after waiting too long in the exam room.Zero customer service and lack of communication!

I called ahead of time. They were nice to me over the phone said there might be some wait if I came in as a walk-in. I still didn’t have to wait very long and I feel like they gave me what I needed and send me to where I needed to go next. The location was easy to find and the staff was ready to help.

Do not openly advertise you have X-ray capability then tell the patients an X-ray, breathing treatment etc. Is not a guarantee.You wasted my time a resourced. False advertisement.

The lady that works the front desk is very very unprofessional and rude. When you walk in the office she doesn’t even greet you. She is very rude and not friendly. She acts like she hates her job. She tried to argue with me about the purpose of me being there and being seen. Every time I call up there she doesn’t answer the phone professionally and doesn’t greet you. She answers the phone with a attitude, doesn’t do her job and will have you on hold for 30-45 mins. Very lazy! What a shame. Hire someone new who is more professional cause the lady at the front is a disgrace! Very ghetto! Do better.

I was a walk in and waited about 25 minutes to be seen. It wasnt busy when I arrived at all but seem to get busy as I was leaving. Doctor was very nice and seemed very thorough. The only complaint I have is how long it took to submit the prescriptions I needed to the pharmacy but I would come back next time I need Urgent Care. The office was clean and the people were nice.

I was refused treatment for not wearing a mask. So, I went to ERgent Care, down the road. Had a 5 star experience with them

Yesterday I went in to been seen. The witch at the front desk Theresa I believe her name is, blatantly lied to me in front of everyone by trying to charge me $140 dollars instead of my regular copay of $35 because they were swamped. It was 6:30pm and they close at 8pm. She tried deterring me at 1st by saying people are waiting in their cars, at home (appointments) and in the lobby and it would be a 3hr wait. I said that’s fine so her method was to get rid of me was public embarrassment and an up charge. Today I contacted a different carespot and they are seeing me with a $35 copay. That witch deserves to be fired for lying and turning people away. I even asked that she call her manager to checkOn my copay and or my insurance company she claimed the manager didn’t answer but I was looking at her the entire time, she never called. I’ll be contacting corporate today to file a formal complaint.

Came in for a pre employment physical, get it done quickly and with ease the problem is they are supposed to send the physical to the employer (the employer will not accept the copies from me) it was 4 weeks ago and now Im at the point where I will lose the job because of this. Called today had a 5min talk time with someone they put me on hold to verify something 25 minutes later the phone was disconnected and now I cant get back thru

I called today for a covid test and was told that my insurance would be billed and that I would have to pay my co-pay. I told the representative that their website need to be corrected to reflect the charges. First place that I’ve ever heard who is charging!

Staff is very rude and unprofessional. Starting with Teresa at the front desk and the X-Ray tech in the back.

After paying a cab for a ride there I find out need ID! They wouldnt look on their computers to pull up my records to prove who I was so had to waste 30 dollars on cab rides

I had pre op testing done here, I then received a $200+ bill from quest. Ive reached out repeatedly since Feb ( its Aug.) and now its going against my credit . The whole process was garbage and now my credit rating is at risk. Never again.

Recently we visited the clinic close to closing. It is understandable that the timing of our visit was frustrating to the worker upfront (Theresa). I am not sure if she was a RN or Tech but what I do know is she was rude. We came in with a patient who recently crashed at the BMX track less than a mile from the facility. Our quickest and closest option was to visit this facility. The patient in regards went over the handlebars and landed on his shoulder. The patient did not have a head injury, no abdominal pain, no back pain, and no signs of a full work up in the future of this visit. There was a slight abrasion to the back of his shoulder but definitely limited ROM in his shoulder. We were worried about an AC joint separation or possible fracture to the clavicle. As aware, we were informed that the facility could not do much for the incident in regards to “fixing the problem”. What we were seeking was quality care which we did not receive. A simple XR would have informed us if we needed to seek further care. We were aware the system check in process, insurance acceptance process, room assignment process, triage process, provider assessment, ordering process, XR process, radiologist reading process, diagnosis, orthopedic set up, and discharge process all takes time. The door to door visit may have taken over an hour but I’m sure the APRN, MD, techs, and nurses all are in this field for patient care. We were not given care and just informed we would be sent to the Emergency Room which was an underlying statement advising is to go to the Emergency Room instead. Urgent Cares are great options to avoid Emergency Rooms but this facility seems to have lost that view.

I hate to leave a review like this but my experience here was not good. The lady at the front desk was awesome but a young man named Sterling was very unprofessional and unsanitary. He had no idea what he was doing and even asked me to ask another staff member to do my blood work. Fortunately a young woman named Wendi came and took over.

I am at carespot on the norhtside dunns bad service checking in i checked in about 7pm and now its 8:25 pm the person that checked me in said i could wait in car and they will call when they are ready for me well it started to get dark so i went back to the building to go in but the lady that checked me in said i would have to wait in my car until they call because they are close wow but close to.whom they had to let me in beecause i am Patient waiting to get seen the lighting is not great No security And most of all I am a woman and I did not feel safe still sitting in my carThats why I tried to go into the Building that i had to go in anyway dont go here late or do not leave the building until you are seen i will never come back here after this when they did call me the nurse that took my information was very nice .

I brought my son in for a fractured ankle. They were very friendly and helpful. The office was clean, the staff was knowledgeable and the prices were reasonable. They went above and beyond to be sure he was comfortable and well taken care of.

Dont even deserve 1 star. Horrible service. Never coming here again. They just let you die. And say Im sorry. Been waiting over 2 hours. Ugh

Visited this location for the first time. I was very pleased with the service. Each staff member I came in contact with were very professional and friendly. I would definitely visit this location again.

With me having tourette syndrome Im getting used to bumps and bruises here and there. Well I thought that I only bruised my foot turns out that I broke 3 toes. Everyone was so polite and understanding even when I was playing my music even when there was a sign posted no cellphones. Thank you everyone for being patient with me Im so appreciative. Signed this chocolate chick with tourette syndrome.

The staff was great, I was a walk-in & I didnt have to wait long. The MAs Wendi & Nisha were both awesome, very nice, knowledgeable, & they listened to me & made me feel comfortable. The provider Susan was awesome too. She helped me a lot & made sure she answered all my questions & that I understood everything.

Took the wife here for an infection that had spread from a tooth. We explained that the dentist already had her on antibiotics and antiinflammatories to prep for extraction from an oral surgeon. To which they replied, we dont do dental. Obviously we werent there for the tooth as the infection had become a serious medical emergency. Fast forward to the next day. I called as many oral surgeons as there are people in this town to get an emergency appointment. Guess what, he sent us to the ER for a medical emergency 🤬. Good luck if this is your last option is all I can say.

Staff was very rude! I had an appt due to a fall and when i got their i waited for almost an hour only to be asked, were you working when you fell and i responded that I worked from home. Without any other questions i was told that they will not be treating me without workers comp paperwork! When i asked for clarification i am told very rudely that their answer will not be changed. According to OSHA and my job it was not workers comp!!! So i wasted my time and day going there for no reason!!! I am still injured and now has to spend more money at the ER!!! I will not be going back here again!!!!

Quick in and out, hardly no wait time. Two people were before me, and went in and came out within fifteen minutes of my wait time. They were professional and quick.

Rude person answered the phone. Needed to know if they took my bfs insurance gave me a spill about medical laws. Yes or no would have sufficed and not with that tone.

My spouse and I used the CareSpot for testing for COVID and found the staff and the physicians to be informative, assistive and very professional and courteous. I highly recommend this facility for your next urgent care need or COVID test. Dont forget to set an appointment.

This is the slowest place ever and the lady at the counter is so rude! I came here for daughter to get a sports physical and we waited over an hour and they ! The whole staff was coughing so much it was disgusting. If my daughter didn’t need her physical for the next day I would have went somewhere else! I have never been to a place so unprofessional.

Made an appointment for 2:30 for a sinus and ear infection. Waited 1 hour to put in a room and another hour to finally be seen by a doctor.

Was easy to get an appointment the same day. The wait was not too bad. The nurses and doctor were very friendly and helpful with my 5 year old son. The treatment the doctor recommended has helped him tremendously. Will be going back for future appointments.

They terrible customer service. I called to make an appointment for COVID exposure. I get there only to be rudely.told that I do not have an appointment when I see my name on their board! The lady tells me to sign in and they put my name in again, at the bottom of their list. That place is a joke!!

Quick and thorough. Got in right before closing and everyone was still super nice and helpful! NP Rita was awesome and the nurse (not sure of name, but has pink hair) was extremely helpful. The young lady at the front desk, going for her MBA, was also very sweet and took her time. Overall, a fantastic experience.

There was a wait, but that was expected with no appointment. The staff and PA were kind and helpful. It helped to have x-rays on-site. Even though their computer system was down, they still called that evening with my x-ray results. Very pleased with the care I received.

The reps were amazing, just a long wait, and lack of active mediation between the patients such as those taking off their masks in the building or wearing them inappropriately. Would consider this a primary doctor residence the head Doctor was very friendly, thorough, and clear to understand.

Love the staff and doctor here. I was iffy about coming to an urgent care for the first time but I was impressed by how caring they were. They generally seemed to be interested in what was wrong and gave me helpful tips to ease my pain until I get better. I thank you All so much and recommend this Care Spot.

Professional staff, knowledgeable and caring

The lobby area was very clean and the medical assistant at front desk was very welcoming. Once the nurse came to get me and place me in a room, she was very attentive until the doctor came in. The doctor was very thorough and she remembered seeing me before. She very conscious of my health plan. I like a doctor that knows you and has a keen sense of pride in their work.

You all are so friendly and caring out there. I have been there 2 or 3 times now and I have never had a bad experience. I prefer you all way over all the urgent care facilities that I have been at in the past. Thank you very much for the way to treat your patients! Nothing is too minor, you make us all feel like we made the right decision to come in. God Bless you all!

We were on our way to Port Canaveral for a cruise and stopped in Jacksonville for the night. My 5yo son had been complaining about his ears hurting and I suspected he had a fever. Not wanting to wait until we were on a cruise ship to find out he had an ear infection I looked for somewhere near our hotel to take him.It was after 5pm on a Sunday and the CareSpot Urgent Care was the only place I found that was open. There was no one else there when we arrived and the assistant at the front desk was very pleasant and efficient in taking our information. We were soon escorted back by a nurse who was very warm and nice to my son. You could tell she had a lot of experience with children.The doctor we saw was also very warm and caring and the exam was very quick and efficient, which is great for a child as they are nervous to be there and waiting around is never fun. They diagnosed him with a double ear infection and sent a prescription to a nearby CVS right away.They whole thing maybe took 25 minutes and much of that was me chatting with the front desk assistant about our shared love of Disney World. 😉It was a great experience in an otherwise stressful situation of having a sick child on vacation.

Very well trained staff, Very polite and the building was very clean. I will be returning here for future checkups/minor things. this was a visit to get a physical to be able to wrestle, the doctor let me know everything was solid and checked for things in my urine to make sure kidney function were solid. all in all a GOOD experience.

Most useless doctors Ive ever seenGo in with an ear infection. Doctor ask me what I want him to do. Floods my ear with water then doesnt pump it out. Made matters worse. Id rather deal with the problem before returning here

BUYER BEWARE....This facility does NOT care about follow up on a patient!!! The name should be changed and not called Care Spot...I went in a couple of weeks ago with a horrible cold. I was afraid I was getting a sinus infection. It was just viral and the only prescription the doctor wrote was for a cough medicine - which was great help. Well, the cold ran long - 2-1/2 weeks and while I was slowly getting better, the cough persisted. I called to get a refill on the cough medicine and was told that would be impossible. The do NOT provide followup care. You may NOT speak to the doctor without paying another $125. If the pharmacy calls to get permission to refill it will be denied. Mind you, this prescription is NOT a narcotic type drug. The care given the day of the appointment was fast and adequate.....JUST BE ADVISED THAT WHEN YOU WALK OUT....THATS IT!!! I believe this to be unthinkable policy for a doctor sworn to first do no harm.

I like the convenience of times and location as well as the problems the staff are able to handle. The staff here are great and listen to you. Dont expect to dictate your care but to be cared for in a kind and medically appropriate manner. They clearly have your best interest at heart.

Everyone was so friendly and the place is very clean. I was in from out of town for work and had no trouble using my insurance. I could not wait to go home for care; I was miserable with a horrible UTI! I was seen quickly and they made checking in and out as easy as possible.My prescriptions were handed to me so that I could go to the nearest pharmacy and within an hour of taking my first dose of antibiotic I was feeling well enough to drive the 3 hours back home.They checked on me via phone a few days later and shared results of the culture. Very efficient and professional operation.

2/20/18 I went to Care Spot because my blood pressure was elevated. I never had an issue with my pressure before and wanted just to get checked out. I was the first patient that walked in to a very rude women working at the desk. No good morning or anything. All I got was there is no one there to help me at the time. I arrived there at 0725 and I seen a couple of nurses walk in, so I no that was a lie. She rudely asked Why are you here? I said my blood pressure is elevated and early in the morning I fell short of breathe. As I was talking she rude interrupted and said We cant help you go to the ER and I said why? She said Because we dont do this blah blah blah I turned to leave and Changed my mind ans ask for someone in charge. She said No one was there. I ask Was she in charge she said No and I said in need someone who is in charge. Finally she goes and gets someone. The nurse came out and diffused the entire horrible encounter. The nurse was very kind, patient and courteous. The Nurse and NP assisted me with my issue to the up most professionalism. The Medical assistant or whatever she is at the desk should be reprimanded for her unprofessional behavior. No one deserves to be treated like I was treated and something needs to be done.

I was the first patient to arrive at this location and I was in and out. The nurse practitioner knew exactly what I needed after examining me. I was so happy with the service at this location.

On 1/19/19 @ 3:20pm my family came into CareSpot Dunn Ave because my son had a fever that wouldn’t break. I gave the young lady my BCBS Smart health insurance card. She obviously was having issues finding my urgent care co pay because she called someone and said she couldn’t figure out the amount. The lady gave me my card back and told me to call the number on the back of my card and figure out what the amount was.. 1. Its not my job to to figure that out! 2. I’m caring for a sick child why would you ask me to do that?. She was extremely rude and could care less about helping me get the help I needed for my sick child. I left immediately and just went to the ER. Maybe this is why people avoid urgent care spots! The young white lady had no ID badge on so I have no idea who she was. Don’t waste your time at this place.

This was my fourth visit since Halloween. Clean facility, friendly staff, quick service. I prefer this place over even normal Dr Office for my self and kids. They will even see us all at one time!

Very clean. Wait times are easily trackable on the screen in the waiting room. Call ahead appointments or online appointments available which makes it easier to rest at home while you wait. The Nurse Practitioner at our location is always incredible. She is very professional and knows your details before she comes into the room. The rest of the staff is also friendly and helpful. Somehow we always manage to get sick on the weekends and I’m thankful that Carespot is there.
