The facility is currently being renovated. Even with the construction being done, the facility is kept clean.The staff are very caring for your eye health.My only complaint is you’re not allowed to bring anyone else during your appointment. I would have preferred having my wife with me to help comfort me with dealing with the unknown.

Arrived for my annual eye checkup was greeted by the receptionist to whom I presented my filled out papers even though I had filled all documents online they were not able to access them. Other than that hiccup everything went very smooth even though they apparently in a remodeling process once I was called in the process went like clockwork, everyone was friendly, courteous and professional. My examination was performed by Dr. Head who is a true professional especially when it comes to diabetic exams. I would highly recommend Texas Eye and Laser Center.

Front desk staff needs some help i have never recieved a reminder once about appointments,and when i called the month preceding my appointment to confirm date and time theyre not sure about said they would call me back. never did. When i showed up on day and timeof appointment that was on my appointment card. Couldnt find my appointment of course it take 3 months to book another. And then no reminder and when i called to confirm once again could not tell me if that was still at the time or day.. luckily when showed up i did. Maybe it the office manager. I dont know.

I highly recommend this practice. The doctors and staff are fabulous! They are not great at respecting our time and there is always a significant wait before being seen. Thus, my four star rating, rather than five.

I had some serious apprehensions going in for cataract surgery. I received the info from my eye doctor. From the minute I walked in the door, I knew I was is good hands. Everything laid out in plain English. The staff was outstanding. Totally had no idea how poor my site was until following the procedure. I could not believe the differences. This is a great place with an equally great staff of professionals.

I had eye surgery on 8/10/2021 here. I was very happy with the way I was treated both during the surgery and at the follow up appointment the next day.Every single member of staff from the receptionist, to the nurse, anesthetist, recovery nurse were polite and caring and made the entire process far less daunting than it might otherwise have been.I would definitely recommend this facility to anyone considering eye surgery.

I have been going to Texas Eye and Laser Center for 10 years now and am thankful for all that they do. I am generally seen in a timely manner by the technicians and the doctor, everyone is pleasant and concise. Yesterday I had the most delightful technician, Kacy, I believe. She was upbeat, informative, and very helpful, answering my questions, not rushing me. My visit was as pleasant as possible with tender, dialated eyes, and the concerns that I came in with were looked at and plans put in place to bring about results.

I had gotten a foreign object (steel) in my eye while forging a knife. I called the clinic and they got me in within 45 minutes. Very pleased with the response time and the thorough exam to ensure my eye was treated properly. Will continue to use Texas Eye and Laser Center for all my vision needs.

I am a 22 year old female and I was extremely nearsighted around -7 with slight astigmatism in one eye. I was extremely sensitive to light and driving at night was a nightmare. I chose the SMILE surgery. Texas eye and laser was fantastic and Dr. Renelle and his team took such great care of me. My insurance denied me one of the necessary medications and Texas eye and Laser quickly took care of it so I could get access to the medication I needed. The evaluation was extremely thorough, all my questions were answered, and they gave me plenty of time to decide. The whole staff was sweet, super professional, and they took the time to make me smile and laugh. My vision is around 20/30 at 1 day post op with no dry eye symptoms. I’m expecting to reach 20/20 by my 1 week. Just a heads up for any planners, they schedule appointments the day before so tell your ride to clear their schedule for the whole morning.

The staff is great. Very nice and helpful. The wait time was long. The whole exam process took 1.5 hours. This may be normal for some eye places, but it just seemed long to me.

Staff is very friendly. I love Dr. Heisterkamp and her assistants. There is one concern I had. There was a couple in the waiting room that had no masks on and no one ever asked them to put one on, and they weren’t spaced from others. There were also two other people that came in without masks, but finally put them on without being asked to. I find this quite concerning, especially being a healthcare provider, and with the Delta variant emerging. Every other doctor’s office I’ve been to requires masks or else they will not treat you. Not sure why you wouldn’t request that as well. Especially since it’s a surgery center.

My 87 yr old dad was unsure about whether to do his cataract surgery; he was very concerned about it and hesitant but at the same time was becoming functionally blind. He finally committed to go through with it -- his vision was restored, hes reading happily, reports no pain during or after, and says the entire staff was wonderful. He says the procedure ended up being no big deal and he was needlessly worried.So I want to thank the team for their great work; we feel it might help him stabilize a bit as he was suffering a number of falls we think might have been in part because of his very restricted vision. I loved Dr Web and the all of the staff! I have been to 6 different drs to find out what was wrong with my eye and she knew right away what it was. She had to refer me to another dr but at least I can get treatment for it. Very thorough and would highly recommend!!!

Casey performed an initial eye exam and numbed my persistent, painful eyeball. Valerie actually took the time to review my paperwork beforehand so was familiar with preexisting conditions and allergies. Awesome! And Dr. HEAD is the best. Fixed my scratched cornea with a contact bandage. Cant believe my good fortune. Thought I was going to face a weekend in pain. The office personnel and nursing staff are the best I have ever had the pleasure to deal with. Each patient is important to them, and they make sure each patient is taken care of. They answer all questions and provide all information needed. I absolutely love Texas Eye and Laser.I fly out of state to still see my doctors.They are hands down the best you will ever encounter and I promise with as bad as my eyes were till now with cataract surgery,intact,and crosslinking.I couldnt be more pleased in my results.The only negative I would have to say is scheduling.One time they made a mistake on my schedule,however fixed it quick and even gave me a gift card.I had another schedule whoops 2 days ago.Flew in for my appt on what I had on my calender 10th surgery 12th.Nurse said my appt is the 11th and no surgery was even scheduled for me.Overall I will not let scheduling stop letting me see my doctors.They are the best and wouldnt change to anyone else.

I went in for an annual eye exam. I did not have to wait very long. The service was great and the staff were knowledgeable. It seemed like I got in and got out within a decent amount of time. Check-in was easy. Social distancing was kept and the seats in the waiting room were cleaned after each use.

Worst place ive ever been treated at . The receptionist were nice and helpful but the doctor (Dr. Jerry G. Hu) doesnt care about his patients or at least didnt care about the big Ulcer I had came in with he didnt really help much at all he did his job as to look at my eye and tell whats wrong but didnt give specific details of how to keep my special eye drops refrigerated. The pharmacy (Glanview Pharmacy) they sent us to didnt even give us information as to keep them refrigerated as well and the next day at the follow up he didnt want to help at all said those eye drops werent good because they needed to be refrigerated and left the room quick , He said he was going on vacation and wasnt going to be able to help me and to go to the UT southwest ER for help. I was really sad but kept praying for an answer and found the right place where im now getting treated. I was very disappointed with my visit and will never recommend this place to anyone else .
