These people are AMAZING!!! My husband is 63, had cataract surgery and a year later decided he did not want to wear reading glasses anymore. After the surgery he did not do well at all. We were so worried that we paid all this money for nothing. This is where the amazing came in....On his follow up he told them he could not see any better and in fact was worse. They gave him some medication and tried different things for a few weeks. The Dr. was calling him every few days to follow up. When that did not work, They decided to wean him in, as I would call it. They started with contacts and slowly worked him down to where he did not have to wear them. My husband was having a very difficult time adjusting to his new eyesight and the Drs were so patient on getting him where he needed to be, without doing further surgery. They were always there, called when they said they would and just worked wonders! He loves his new eyes! We are so very happy and can not recommend this place enough.

The entire staff is so professional, knowledgeable, organized and friendly. From the front desk to the technicians to the doctors. Dr. Tran was so thorough in explaining the entire lasik process at my consultation and at my post opp follow up. Dr. Joseph did my lasik and he was very nice, explained the process as he did my lasik and was very gentle. I felt no pain or pressure. Thank you Lasik Vision Institute. I went in for consultation and same day surgery on Wednesday and the main reason why I opted for the same day surgery is because i felt comfortable about the surgeon (Dr. Joseph) based on his years of experience and his knowledge. Every one was very friendly and answered all the 200 questions I asked; special shoutout to Dr. Tran and Patty... and really the whole team because they made me feel like I was in the place to be and will be. I was well taken care of throughout the process and even post-op. Thus far my vision is not quite optimal yet... as I am hoping to see clearer than this. I am hopeful for the best!

Had my Lasik done last Friday with Dr. Joseph. The entire experience was wonderful! I also can’t say enough about the employees that helped during my assessment prior to the procedure. Dr. Tran was awesome! Answered all of my 100 questions, lol. Even called me the day before my procedure when I was having second thoughts, and he took the time to put me at ease. Great experience!

If you like absolute incompetence and carelessness while having your eyes getting surgery done on them be my guest. I only say that because while getting eye drops put in,which they will be doing the whole time for lubrication one of the caps came off and hit me in the eye. Thank goodness my eye wasnt severely damaged due to that but I did have some bleeding due to it,plus the same eye took more time to recover fully. I guess that the type of service you get when you still pay all that money.

I went in for my consultation last week on Tuesday and had the surgery on Thursday. From the moment I walked In everyone was great!! Tracy is the best!! Made me feel so comfortable. Explained everything step by step. Dr. January performed my surgery. I could not have asked for a better surgeon. He was very confident and professional. Surgery took about 10 minutes I think. It was so short you really don’t even remember being In there. Lol. I’ve worn glasses since I was in 2nd grade, many many years ago. And contacts not long after. My vision is better than it has ever been. Best decision I’ve made in a very long time........ 10/10

I had a good experience with this location. The doctors and the technicians were amazing. I absolutely adored my technician, Ms. Vicky and Dr. Tran seemed happy to answer any questions. The lasik surgeon had great bedside manners and was very patient. He explained everything he was doing during the procedure. The coordinator was able to work with my budget and get me in for laser surgery. Overall good experience and amazing results.

For me being one of the last appointments of the day arriving at 5:00pm, I must say Im very impressed. All the employees despite a full shift seemed to still have positive energy and give me excellent customer service. Karen in particular was highly informative and relaxing during the consultation process. My procedure is PRK and Ill be able to have the procedure done within a week. Thinking positive and hope for excellent results.

Omg, this place is awesome the staff is very friendly. The nurse who came in my room was the best Bittany she took me for a couple of different eye exams. Then Dr. TRAN came in the room and explained to me what was going on with my vision. Very nice and professional Dr. Tran . The whole procedure was about 2hrs.as they let you know before you arrive. I was very pleased when I went to check out was told I was ready I was ready to pay and was told I didnt owe anything. Unbelievable it was a free consultation so pleased. I couldnt believe it. I got my lasik done in September and I was so happy with my results that I was telling everyone about it. I convinced my dad to get it done and I feel absolutely terrible. His vision wasn’t that’s bad, he couldn’t see from a distance but didn’t need glasses. He went in and now he can’t see from up close and now has to wear glasses to see. The doctor told him “you might” need glasses never did he say you will have to wear them. When he went in to explain how upset he was all they said was “I’m sorry you feel that way”

I came in on a Saturday and was given an amazing eye exam by Karen. I was so pleased with the cleanliness and care from the staff I made my Lasik procedure for the following week. I was extremely nervous but Karen was amazing and made me feel at ease.

Two weeks post op and I can see better than 20/20! This location made me so comfortable and everyone is so friendly. Jasmine and Karen were very thorough and explained each step to me. Great hospitality! The entire visit was about 1-2 hours. Dr. Joseph comforted me through the whole procedure which took less than 5 minutes. No pain or discomfort. The staff was really friendly and the facilities were really clean. You can tell the employees love what they do here. My technician Karen was fun and easy to talk to. She answered any questions I had and with detail.

From the moment that I walked for my initial consultation, everyone was as nice and polite as possible. I was already reserved to the fact that I needed both eyes done. One for distance and one for up close. Jasmine took the extra time to find what would be the best for me. Turns out that I only needed one eye done for distance and the other was left alone for up close. That made me feel like they were genuinely interested in my well being instead of just trying to upscale me. Patty laid out all of my options on the money side and was great to deal with. Dr. Tran was very professional and went into great detail to make sure I understood everything. Again, the whole process was super easy and now I am upset that I didn’t have it done sooner.

Amazing staff! Easy! Quick and painless!!

I can definitely say I had a very bad experience. The staffs were all wonderful as well as the optometrist but the procedure itself was horrible along with the ophthalmologist. During the procedure, I expressed that I was in pain. However, the two assistants and the ophthalmologist did not show any concern. They just continued with the procedure, as I was holding tightly onto my shorts and shirt, and my jaws were clinched due to the unbearable pain. As they continued onto my next eye, same thing occurred. I complained in agony with no to little concern. I had move a little because of the torture and the ophthalmologist just forcefully held my chin upward and still did not acknowledge my suffering.A day after went by, I went for my follow up appointment. The optometrist check my eyes and stated that I had a minor bleed in my left eye (the second one worked on).Five days have passed now, and I am here writing this review. I have asked many coworkers and friends who have received Lasik, and everyone that I have spoken to have had a good experience. They had told me that they were given Valium or Xanax prior to the procedure. Every single one of them. However, I was not offered this. Some also said that they received a bear to hold onto. I understand that covid is still active, but handing out stress balls would have been adequate especially if sedative/anxiolytic were not offered. I had called the office this morning because as instructed, I am suppose to take steroid and antibiotic drops four times a day for seven days but this morning, the antibiotic drops ran out. I called to asked if this was OK or if I could get another prescription because the last thing I wanted was another complication. The optometrist stated that there was no need and five days was enough.I write this review today because I personally do not want anyone to go through the same experience as me. This is a life changing event and no one should suffer like I did.

This place and the staff in it are all amazing! The doctors throughly examine your eyes for the best care, and discuss the process in the best way to help you understand the surgery. My surgeon talked with me during the entire surgery, helping me to both stay calm and keep my eyes focused. IMMEDIATELY after the surgery, I saw a tremendous improvement in my vision. The entire staff is a joy to be with and made me feel so comfortable, before, during and after my surgery. If you want to improve your eyes, this is the place to go!

Karen was awesome! An hour and a half consultation felt like no time. She made sure I was comfortable and laughed and joked with me the whole time to keep my attention upbeat. Definitely, recommend!

Great service and attention from the technician who did my preop testing, the optometrist Dr Tran, and the lady who assisted the procedure (I think she was a CRNA). Notice how I don’t know the names and positions of the above personnel because NO ONE INTRODUCED THEMSELVES BY NAME OR POSITION except Dr Tran. The Opthalmologist who performed the procedure did not even introduce himself to me nor did he explain the consent and disclosure. Not a good experience for someone who is entrusting their eyeballs to someone handling a blade and laser on their eyes! It was basically a factory-like vibe. I was also shocked that they used multi-vial eye drops which were left uncovered on a table. The same drops were used on the two other people in the same room as me. The vials were not even disinfected before and after each use! I give this place a 4-star rating because 1-day post-op I can finally see without contacts:)

Horrible experience for a person who has been determining whether to get lasik or not for years. I checked in and waited. The person who assisted me gave me an eye exam then gave me the results. Wasnt at all comfortable with what she claimed to observe from my eye test. Then when she told me that correcting my far vision would immediately improve my near vision as well. So I told her the only reason I had been thinking about lasik is because as Ive gotten older my near vision of small print has not been good but before aging Ive had 20/20 vision. The girl responded no one has 20/20 vision. Then I said yes some people do and she shook her head no again. Okay so this is like the nail in the coffin because Im no longer believing anything she said matter of fact I didnt even believe the results of my eye exam and was ready to just run out of there and go buy myself some glasses.

Beginning with my consultation, I was thoroughly impressed by the customer service, attentive staff and overall friendliness. As for the day of my procedure, it was more of the same. The Doctor and nurse staff where extremely informative and made me very comfortable. The procedure was quick painless and most importantly successful. To add to it all, something that completely floored me was that later that evening, I received a call from my doctor to check up on me. She did my prework up and walked me through each machine she was working on me with, put yellow drops in my eye, and then dilated my eyes. It was a wonderful and pleasant experience for me and my wife. We both got our eyes done together by Dr. January. He was great at comforting you during the operation. The day of the surgery is a long day 5hrs and bring a blanket I’m pretty sure they are hating penguins in the back room.

I had a great experience with LVI Houston. As a teacher, I didn’t want to miss any school, LVI was able to work around my schedule. The staff was very patient with me as I flip flopped back and forth on my decision, I never once felt like I was being pressured into the decision. The procedure itself was relatively painless and has changed my life.

I was nervous that I wouldnt qualify for lasik due to another medical issue plus having quite a bit of astigmatism. The doctors and staff got me on drops to help so that my procedure wouldnt have to be postponed or not done at all. Will highly recommend to anymore.

Surgery was yesterday. Great, easy and fast! Painless! Consultation took me about 2-3 hours. Surgery day I was only there for about 2 hours. Experience was great. I can see so much better and vision just keeps getting sharper and sharper as the days pass by.

I had my laser surgery yesterday. I can read messages on my phone and work on my PC without glasses. The procedure was straight forward. The people at Lasik Vision Institute were very professional. They made me feel so conformable that it helps to cool my nerves down for the surgery which took approximately 20 minutes. As long as you follow the instructions and take all the medications namely the eye drops like you supposed to, you will be fine. I still do not understand why this practice is not made compulsory because it really works. BIG UP LASIK VISION INSTITUTE!!!!

Great service! I was nervous prior to my surgery but they made me feel at ease and took care of me every step of the way. Staff are courteous and attentive and drs are amazing. Highly recommended.

I was generally well taken care of. The procedure itself was very quick and professional, and post op was also a breeze. I scheduled on a Saturday and was there for only 4 hours. Overall, they get the job done. I didnt mind the wait and took advantage of the discounts they offered (I received an additional discount from the Houston Auto Show) so it definitely makes sense to get my vision treated here. A day later, I have 20/20 and Im very grateful to be able to see without glasses!!
