The worst experience for ever! Actually, this hospital is absolutely horrible. My daughter had abdominal pain, we were waiting during five hours, but doctor didnt show up. My daughter was crying and screaming during five hours. Because they are playing around with patient. I saw 6 patients but, the doctors didnt call them up to five hours. For reason, I left the hospital. They are not helping the patients. Just, they are trying kill patients in the waiting area. I wish, I can give them zero star. This hospital deserve zero star. I left the hospital few minutes ago. If something happens to my daughter, they will be responsible for that.

INSENSITIVE. UNEMPATHETIC. CONDESCENDING. If you want to be treated like an annoyance while you listen to caregivers complain about their pay and no longer receiving $240/ day bonuses, this is the place for you. I am literally sitting here watching them laugh at and complain about the people who call in, come for care etc. Pathetic. I have never felt so small at a place Ive come to for care.

Horrible service did not care about my moms health she came in needing blood transfusion and expected me to leave her alone after we told her she was not able to communicate with them because of language and her age. All they kept saying was covid was reason why and we both have tests showing us negative.

My son went in about 10:40AM on June 7th. He waited in terrible pain, vomiting every few minutes. Staff denied him a place to lay down. ER Staff never gives waiting times and would not estimate how many more hours he would have to wait for care. After he suffered for two and one-half hours, I picked him up. He was laying in the grass outside the ER doors. Memorial Southwest has been our go-to family hospital for many years, but never again.

6 days they tortured me in the emergency room, they were cruel and rude and it was the worst experience of my life.. avoid going here pleaseUPDATE: AS FOR THE REPLY, I did follow up with a complaint to Patient Relations and I was told that being yelled and cursed at by the lead nurse met their standards for adequate care. Please stop failing patients. You could have killed me. This is my life.

Worst experience ever! If you in severe pain they will not take u in. I was dying of pain and they told me I had to wait atleast around 3 hrs because they were no beds available. People walk in on the ER like if they going to the clinic. Leave the ER for the real sick & ill patient’s. I had to walk out in pain and go to Urgent Care. I’m glad they took better care of me and immediately took me in. Came to find out it was kidney stones, worst pain ever, don’t wish that on anyone.

Five stars to the ER nurse, Joe, who was really, really understanding, patient, respectful and kind. 0 stars to the nurse who barged in without knocking and to the business administrator who forced us to provide our health insurance information (the system is down) while we were undergoing a painful procedure. Could the nurse not have *knocked*? Could the administrator not have read the room and *waited* one moment? Please? Seriously, we are so tired of being treated as pieces of dead meat by the hospital industry, except for people like Joe.

My favorite Doctors office is here in the building, suite 900. This hospital also has a convenient walgreens pharmacy inside and the staff is courteous not to mention the surroundings are clean despite construction.

9/28/2020 normally I don’t leave reviews but I think I have to. There’s not to many positive ones for this ER, which is a shame. I am Thankful for the care I received today. The staff was kind, comforting, and most importantly able to help me. Yes there was a wait, but my emergency wasn’t as threatening as others so I quietly and “patiently” waited until I could be seen. Again I just want to say Thank You. Especially to My PA C. Bedoy.

I came in this week and had the best experience Ive ever had in an ER. Everything went seamlessly as I went from caretaker to caretaker. Everyone was super nice and listened very well to everything I said. It was clean and I felt safe and well-taken care of. I was able to relax and let the doctors, nurses, and staff take care of me completely.

The wait was ridiculous especially when you are told on multiple occasions you are next. Despite that issue once in a room the staff was wonderful! RN- Taylor, Dr.Idris & Dr. Chung were a few that stood out and their bedside manners are great as well. Very patient answered all my questions. Had the confusion upon my arrival not occurred I would have rated 5 stars.

This Emergency Center is primarily focused on billing and getting money from you, not patient-centered. The wait is always long, and the staff couldnt care less if youre in pain or dying. I would recommend avoiding this Hospital, youll find Better Care on a street corner than you are at this Hospital.

Very long wait which is expected. I have no issue with. If i go to and ER i expect to have answer not just come out with what i came in. They should have more specialtist working. They make lots of money to no afford better Medical staff that can easy help there overworked staff. If I need a type of doctor they should have it since i am paying more for being there.

The wait is ridiculously long. Staff is not nice and helpful at all. I regret choosing this hospital. After waiting for more than 3 hrs, were able to get into the room, and the first thing that the NP/PA did was lecturing me how this ER is not for the condition that my grandmother has. I was shocked to hear how she can lecture me without even listening to my whole story yet. I guess she is pregnant and was stressful with too many pts that night, but that is not the way of a professional talking to an 84-year-old woman with an active infection sitting waiting in the ER room for more than 3 hrs to listen to her lecture. I had to interupt her and literally cut her off to tell her why I think my grandma should be here. I guess she didnt know that Im working in the medical field just like her too, and Im working at the Medical Center, which probably as busy as her ER or even more! I totally understand its 1AM in the morning and youre having a lot of patients, in which some of them were abusing the ER for non medical need. However, just by looking at the 84-yo woman who weighs less than 40 lbs with an active infection (not to mention that this PA was even scared of touching my grandmas mouth to inspect the infection!), have some respect and empathy for the patient as well as the family member. She was probably tired, and I was too. I was working 10 consecutive days in the same stressful field like hers but without an attitude and still giving her some respect for thw white coat she was wearing. However, this is my first and will be the last for this ER unless MMH SW can provide employees with a little more nicer attitude and less judging the patients without listening and knowing what they may have gone through, which may explain the reason why they are here in your ER. I come here to share the story not to tell you to not come here because I know MMH is a good hospital, but to let you know to speak up and correct their bad attitudes toward patients care. But I will probably never go back here in case I see that lady again and itll be a very ugly conversation with her, which I will be the lecturer and not her!

Such wonderful people on staff. Wound up coming in super nervous about some pains on a Saturday evening. Was triaged and taken to a room almost immediately, and seen shortly after. Both the resident and the attending (Dr. Metwalli) were so kind, as were the nurses and PCAs on staff. Got a good understanding of what may be going on, what to look out for, and when to come back if needed, as well as a great referral to follow up as an outpatient. The visit only took an hour or so, and that’s with labs. 10/10 would return (but hopefully won’t have to LOL).

A horrible experience only because a doctor was incredibly rude to my mother. He was also disrespectful by stopping a prayer that my mom had requested and in the morning suddenly yelling while she was trying to rest and knowing that she has high blood pressure..
